Abstract

The impact of globalization on cross-country portfolio investment is the high flow of stocks and bonds with the primary goal of taking high yields from rising prices without aiming to own a company. Emerging markets have generally been net recipients of foreign capital in recent decades, including the countries in Southeast Asia consisting of Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. The Fed Fund Rate is believed to be the most influential factor in portfolio flows to various emerging market countries. This study will model portfolio equity flows to Southeast Asia over the last 20 years. Model testing uses the moderation analysis process model 4 by Andrew F. Hayes. The findings of this study indicate that the Fed Funds Rate has a greater effect on Southeast Asia's Equity Flows Portfolio than Internal Gross Domestic Product, which indicates the economic strength of a country in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

The cooperatives in Indonesia have hundreds of thousands, but not all are active due to several factors, including member participation, revenue, assets, and external capital. The purpose of this study is to provide the dominant factors that affect the operating profit of cooperatives. This research is quantitative causality, with data from 2001-2021 and multiple regression as an analysis tool. The data source was obtained from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs. The analysis results show that the variables of own capital and sales volume simultaneously affect the remaining operating results, while partially owned capital does not affect cooperative profits. This research can evaluate increasing cooperative profits through policies that can be applied to cooperatives.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the creative economy has garnered significant attention from the government. The Kelom Geulis industry evolved its designs, incorporating airbrush and batik elements. Despite achieving recognition nationally and internationally, artisans struggled to diversify their designs, sustain innovation, adapt to changing consumer preferences, and standardize pricing. This research investigates the influence of creativity and innovation on competitive advantage through price within the Kelom Geulis Creative Industry in Gobras Village, Tasikmalaya City. An explanatory research approach was employed to elucidate causal relationships among variables through hypothesis testing. The study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis to analyze the data. Data was collected from a purposive sample of 200 customers who purchased Kelom Geulis products. The findings demonstrate that creativity (t = 3.071, p = 0.002) significantly influences competitive advantage. Similarly, innovation (t = 8.177, p = 0.000) significantly affects competitive advantage. Additionally, price (t = 4.268, p = 0.000) plays a substantial role in shaping competitive advantage. Indirectly, creativity significantly influences competitive advantage through price (t = 2.299, p = 0.022), while innovation also significantly influences competitive advantage and Price as a mediating variable (t = 3.403, p = 0.000).

Meanwhile, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a positive effect on Company Value. Simultaneously Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Debt to debt-to-equity ratio (DER) have a significant effect on Company Value. Abstract

This research aims to analyze how former convicts can contribute to the strategic management of countering criminal acts of terrorism. This research uses the concepts of bonding, bridging, and linking as dimensions of social capital offered by Robert Putnam (2020). Data processing was carried out using in-depth interviews supported by observations of the convict development program. This research shows that former convicts can create a sense of togetherness and group identity, understand alternative narratives in religion and society, and build positive relations with the state as an organization among other convicts. From this research, it is concluded that the involvement of former convicts in the deradicalization program has a positive impact, so its implementation needs to be mainstreamed in implementing the deradicalization program.

Abstract

Transcendence in the workplace is an individual's sense of connectedness to colleagues and the larger community through the perception of work as a service for the common good that generates a sense of completeness and fulfillment. To analyze it, a measuring instrument is needed that can measure this. This study aims to adapt transcendence at work measuring instruments and test the psychometric properties to be tested on Muslim workers in Indonesia. This measuring instrument has been confirmed suitable for use in Hindu workers in India, but there have been no studies that test this measuring instrument on Muslim workers. The concept of transcendence which is quite attached to the teachings of Islam makes researchers interested in conducting this research. The transcendence at work measuring instrument developed by Khari and Sinha consists of 3 dimensions and 12 items that can measure transcendence in the workplace. The process of adapting measuring instruments refers to the International Test Commission. This study involved 200 Muslim workers in Indonesia. The reliability tests used are alpha Cronbach and CFA to measure construct validity. It was found that all items in the transcendence at work measuring instrument can measure transcendence in the workplace in Muslim workers in Indonesia.

Abstract

The use of new financial technologies, such as PayLater services, has grown rapidly in recent years. This service allows consumers to buy goods without paying directly at the time of purchase, but instead pay later within a certain period of time. Although this service provides convenience and flexibility in shopping, unwise use can increase the risk of impulsive purchasing behavior. The purpose of this study is to find out how to analyze the relationship between PayLater use and impulsive shopping behavior. The analytical method used is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis. To process the data, the author used Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS 26 For Windows. The survey method was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents who used PayLater services and measuring the level of their impulsive behavior in buying goods online. The study results show a strong relationship between impulsive buying behavior and pay-later users.
