This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of problem based learning models with experimental methods and discussion on learning outcomes; (2) the effect of Scientific Attitude of students towards learning outcomes; (3) the interaction between the model problem based learning with experimental methods and discussion with scientific attitude of students towards learning outcomes. This type of research is an experimental research study design with Factorial Design 2 x 2. Population in research of all X grade student of MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Mataram academic year 2015/2016. Sampling studies using cluster random sampling, and get class X MIPA 4 as an experimental class I and class X MIPA 7 as experimental class II. The researchââ¬â¢s instrument used was a multiple choice test with five alternative answers and considering the validity, reliability, power and the level of difficulty depending matter and using scientific attitude questionnaire instrument. This research showed that the average value of posttest experimental class I was 76.50 and the experimental class II at 79.83 with the average value of the value of the scientific attitude to the experimental class I was 52.42 and 50.70 of the experimental class II. Data obtained beforehand tested normality and homogeneity, earned both classes of normally distributed and homogeneous, then followed by hypothesis testing using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with two different cell. The results of this study show that: (1) There is effect problem based learning model with experimental methods and discussion on learning outcomes; (2) Scientific Attitude effected on the student learning outcomes; (3) There is no interaction between the problem based learning model with experimental methods and discussion with scientific attitude towards learning outcomes.

This study aims to determine the effect of student worksheet assisted modified causalitic thinking type 2B scaffolding approach toward studentââ¬â¢s problem solving ability (PSA) in dynamic fluid among second grade student at MAN 1 Mataram in academic year of 2016/2017. This research is a quasi experiment with untreated control design with pretest and posttest. The population in this study were all science students in second grade. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling techniques, which lead XI MIA 3 and XI MIA 1 were chosen as the experimental class and control class, respectively. PSA data collected by essay test that are 4 questions that have been tested for validation and reliability. Homogeneity test, normality test and t test polled varians were used as statistical test. Based on hypothesis test can be concluded that there is the influence of student worksheet assisted modified causalitic thinking type 2B scaffolding approach toward studentââ¬â¢s PSA in dynamic fluid among second grade student in academic year of 2016/2017.

This study aimed to determine the effect of Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) learning model on physics learning outcomes of student class XI SMAN 5 Mataram academic year 2015/2016. Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) is a learning model that consists of three phases namely learning phase of individual work, group work phase, and the phase of presentation of the group's work. The results of a study which examined learning outcomes on cognitive aspects of the C1 to C6 (knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation). Type of research is a quasi-experimental research with posttest-only control group design. The sample was chosen by cluster random sampling. Data of learning outcomes were analyzed using t-test. Results showed that there was an effect of Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) learning model on studentsââ¬â¢ physics learning outcomes in Class XI SMAN 5 Mataram academic year 2015/2016.

This research aimed to figure out the effect of discovery learning using PhET to the learning outcome in physics of the second-grade students in SMAN 1 Kediri Academic Year 2017/2018. This research was conducted as the result of experiment using non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was the whole second-grade students in SMAN 1 Kediri. To limit the sample, surfeited sampling was applied consisting the students in class XI MS I as the experiment class and class MS II as the control class. Research instrument used was the multiple-choice test after the tests of validity, reliability, discrimination power, and difficulty level have been done. The increasing of the learning outcome was defined from the result of N-gain test per sub-chapter. The result of this research showed that the learning outcome of the students has increased to both classes. This proved that discovery learning method using PhET has succeeded in increasing the studentsââ¬â¢ learning outcome for Physics.

This research aims to cultivate our learning materials basic physics-based model of learning P3E to enhance students ' critical thinking skills. This research was carried out from June until October 2017 at UIN Mataram. The type of research used IE research development-oriented product development includes three phases, namely the preliminary studies, product development and testing products. Test your basic physics materials involving 36 students (two class) semester 2 academic year2016/2017 and extensive trials carried out on 49 students (two class) academic year 2017/2018 Prodi Tadris Physics FTK UIN Mataram. Products resulting from this research is a physics-based model of learning materials learning P3E consisting of four (4) syntax: organizing, investigation, evaluation, and presentation. Basic physics, materials physics material contain basic 1 sub staple in temperature and heat. The results of validation experts show all materials declared valid and reliability. Basic physics-based learning materials learning model used and effective practical P3E to enhance critical thinking skills. There for learning materials based models developed viable P3E learning used to enhance students ' critical thinking skills. ÃÂ

This research aims to know the effect of using virtual laboratorial towards concept mastery and creative thinking ability of students on the material of vibrations and waves. This research is an experimental research that uses pretest-postest control group design. The population of this research is all grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Alas Barat in the academic year 2013/2014 and the sample of this research is grade VIII3 as experimental group and VIII4 as control group that determined by cluster random sampling technique. The instrument thet used to collect the data is test that made in terms of multiple choices and essay test. The data is analysed by statistical formula of N-Gain and t-test. The result of N-Gain of experimental group concepts mastery is 0,5% and control group is 0,2%. Meanwhile, the result of N-Gain of experimental group creative thinking ability is 0,3% and control group is 0,1%. The resultof t-test shows that tobtined of concepts mastery is 1,877 ââ°Â¥ ttable is 1,671. Whereas, for creative thinking ability shows that tobtined is 1,998 ââ°Â¥ ttable is 1,671. It means that there is a difference of concept mastery and creative thinking ability of students on the material of vibrations and waves. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of virtual laboratorial has an effect towards concept mastery and creative thinking ability of students on the material of vibrations and waves.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the CCM-CCA learning model that has been validated by physicist education through Focused Group Discussions (FGD) activities, and the validation results are valid in content and construct. The research design used follows the Education Research and Development method. The development of models starting from designing the model until implementing the model. Test the effectiveness of the model measured by the results of analysis of observational data and interview results on the occurrence of conceptual changes in students. Observation and interview data refers to the thought process experienced by students as a condition for conceptual change. The results of the study showed that students who were the subjects of the study experienced the four (4) thought processes that were the conditions for conceptual change. These results indicate that the CCM-CCA learning model is an effective learning model for facilitating the occurrence of student conceptual changes from wrong conceptions into scientific conceptions (physicist conception) about the concept of force

This study is an experimental aims to finding out the effect of problem based learning through experimental methods on studentââ¬â¢s physics science process skills of SMA Negeri 1 Selong academic year 2014/2015. The design of this study used pretest-posttest control group design, while the sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The population of this study is students of grade X Science Program SMA Negeri 1 Selong, while the samples are the students of class X 1 (experimental group) and class X 4 (control group). The instrument of this study is the science process skills test. The result data was analyzed by t-test pooled variant two tails. Obtain values thint = 5.38, ttable = 1.99 at the significance level of 5%. Because - ttable < thint > + ttable, then Ho will be rejected and Ha will be accepted which indicates that there is significant the effect of problem based learning through the experimental method on physics science process skills of students of SMA Negeri 1 Selong academic year 2014/2015.

The purpose of this study are to describe the understanding of prospective teachers on the concepts of heat, work, and thermodynamic process and the difficulties they face in learning the concepts of thermodynamics. This research was conducted using qualitative method. Data were collected using a diagnostic test and interview. The subjects were students of physics education, University of Cendrawasih who had attended the lectures of thermodynamics, as many as 39 people. The results of this study indicate that student teachers do not understand the concept of heat, work, and thermodynamic process well. Students can analyze the problem and solve the majority of them (30%). The settlement issue is not based on prior knowledge that already exists. Students have difficulty distinguishing the work done by the system or the environment. Students also have difficulty understanding the process in a diagram or change it in a different diagram.

The application of teacher centered learning in classroom is causing the underdevelopment of students problem solving ability and students activity in learning. Interactive demonstration is an active learning model developed by Wenning. Through interactive demonstrations, students can use the basic intellectual process skills that includes predicting, explaining, estimating, acquiring and processing data, formulating and revising scientific explanations using logic and evidence, and recognizing and analyzing alterative xplanations and models. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of interactive learning demonstration toward students' problem solving ability. This research was mixed method research with embedded design. The sample is selected by purposive sampling method, that was the grade X MIA 1 students of SMAN 1 Bangil. The results of this study indicate that there is the effect of interactive demonstration learning and that learning can enhance students' problem-solving abilities.
