Abstract

The Generation Z population is the largest demographic group in Indonesia currently entering the workforce. However, data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) indicates that youth unemployment remains a critical issue in the employment sector. The increasing open unemployment rate among Generation Z can be attributed to an imbalance between labor demand and supply, as well as career decision-making processes during school or university periods. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing OUR among Generation Z, specifically through the career decision-making process before entering the workforce. Furthermore, this research examines the influence of Self-Efficacy in Career Decision-Making on Career Decisions through the mediating variable of Career Decision-Making Difficulties. The methodology employed is a survey, with data collected via questionnaires distributed to 104 respondents who meet the study criteria. The instruments used include the Career Decision Scale (CDS), the short-form Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE-SF), and the Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (CDDQ). The findings reveal an indirect influence of Self-Efficacy in Career Decision-Making on Career Decisions, mediated by Career Decision-Making Difficulties among Generation Z individuals entering the workforce in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

For Muslims, whether a product is haram or halal is fundamental and very important. The halal label on a product can now be categorized as an important thing due to the high number of Muslim populations in the world. This increase is accompanied by increasing awareness of consuming halal products, especially in Indonesia. Apart from food products, the halal label has also become a trend for other non-food products, such as cosmetics, medicines, toiletries, perfume, etc. This research aims to determine the relationship between marketing mix variables and halal labels on purchasing decisions for non-halal products in Indonesia, either partially or simultaneously. This research used a sample of 100 Muslims spread throughout Indonesia. Data collected in the form of a questionnaire was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS application. The research results show that partially, the product, place and halal label variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, while price and promotion have no effect. However, when all variables were tested together, the results were found to have a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

The capital market functions as an intermediary for the flow of funds between investors and companies, in accordance with the general principle that the greater the risk, the greater the potential profit. In estimating returns, there are several methods, one of which is the Fama French five factor model which was developed from the CAPM, APT and Fama French three factor models. This research aims to evaluate the relationship between the five-factor Fama French model and excess returns on the SRI-KEHATI stock index from 2015 - 2022. This research method adopts quantitative analysis with an associative causality approach and uses a purposive sampling technique to select 9 companies as samples. Data analysis used by Eviews 12. Study findings show that market factors have a significant influence on excess returns, while size, value, profitability and investment factors are not significant on excess returns. Overall, the Fama-French model's five factors collectively influence excess returns. This finding confirms that market conditions will influence the excess returns obtained by investors.
