Abstract

The problem to be answered in this study is whether green product knowledge (GPK) affects eco-innovation through the mediation of green transformational leadership (GTL) in the processed organic food agroindustry. The basic research method is an explanatory case study; the data collection technique uses the interview method by distributing 175 questionnaires to 35 agroindustry MSMEs of processed organic food products. Only 150 questionnaires are filled in to be analyzed further, and data analysis uses partial least square. Based on the research results, the first finding is that GPK positively and significantly affects GTL. The second finding is that GPK positively and significantly affects eco-innovation in the processed organic food agroindustry (EI). The third finding is that GTL positively and significantly affects EI. The fourth finding is that GPK positively and significantly affects EI mediated by GTL.

Abstract

Research on Generation Z, the latest generation who are active in the use of the Internet and smartphones, has been widely carried out. Several previous studies have shown that Gen Z as social media users who are dominated by teenagers, also experience negative impacts – in addition to the positive impacts that are for learning activities at school – because the use of smartphones dominates their daily activities. The virtual world seems more real than their real social life, with the presence of various virtual friendship applications plus the possibility of the presence of a metaverse, Gen Z's social life is believed to have moved to the virtual world. This research was conducted using a qualitative method called ethnography, in the form of document studies and interviews. This study involved 10 informants from junior and senior high school students and 2 universities in Bandung and Jakarta, West Java, Indonesia. All the transcripts were then validated by the result of interviews with teachers and parents. The results of the study show that the surrounding virtual environment can lead students to smartphone addiction. Baudrillard's concepts of simulacra and hyperreality are increasingly relevant to present and future life when virtual reality technology, i.e., metaverse, becomes part of real life. Without intense communication and attention from parents, a student can be trapped in his own virtual world and unconsciously slowly detach himself from the world of reality around him. This is proof that Gen Z’s social life today is very different from previous generations. The social life in the virtual world for Gen Z is as important as their life in the real world.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the factors that affect the unemployment rate in Afghanistan. The study uses OLS model with time series data from 2005 to 2021 to investigate the effects of macroeconomic factors such as inflation rate, trade balance, GDP, and FDI on unemployment. This article also explores the factors that drive employment in Afghanistan and their potential for decrease. The findings indicate that all factors have a substantial and detrimental influence on unemployment, but that GDP and FDI have more profound impacts and are more crucial for improving employment opportunities in Afghanistan. The result of this study agrees with the theories that suggest that the above-mentioned factors have a huge impact on the rate of unemployment in the case of Afghanistan.

Abstract

Women are a group or group that is vulnerable to violence that occurs in society. To overcome various issues of violence that occur against women, special attention is needed from all groups, both community groups and government circles, consisting of the central government and regional governments. This certainly has an impact on the existence of women's groups in the social order amidst demands for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). If we refer to the concept of "mainstreaming" itself, it can be interpreted as a process that is carried out to bring aspects that were previously considered unimportant or marginal into the decision-making and management of main institutional activities and work programs. This series of strategies was prepared based on insight, critical awareness and data obtained from gender analysis. Therefore, this study is considered important to look at gender representation in Siak Hijau policies.

The advent of new digital technologies has led to the automation of various financial activities, potentially offering more efficient and economically viable products across different segments of the financial industry. These segments include lending, asset management, portfolio advice, and the payment system. The main objective of this paper is to provide a synthesis of the impacts of fintech on cost management, which will improve firm value among financial institutions, and to propose a framework for fintech and cost management. It has been found that fintech provides the management with relevant, accurate, and reliable information on the firm’s critical success factors within and outside an organization related to cost management for long-term periods.
