Abstract

The objectives of the research were (1) to know the effect of the organik rice characteristics on rice consumption, (2) to know the socio-economic factors that affect organik rice consumption on household level in city area of Yogyakarta. The research was conducted by discriptive method. Samples for organaic rice consumer were collected using snow ball method. The result of the study showed that: (1) organik rice consumption waas influenced by five characteristics of health taste aroma, taste and stability of rice, (2) hedonic price of organik rice was affected by characteristics of colour, tante, sine, after taste, service, health and continuity of rice product, (3) organik rice consumption in city areas of Yogyakarta was influenced by housewife education, jobs, period of organik rice consumption, variety children under five year dummy.Keywords: organik rice, consumption, city strea

Abstract

UMKM Salak Cristal merupakan agroindustri yang bergerak pada pengolahan salak menjadi aneka produk olahan salak. UMKM Salak Cristal telah melakukan penjualan secara offline dan online, akan tetapi kurang memperhatikan konsumen serta strategi pemasaran. UMKM Salak Cristal bukanlah satu-satunya produsen pengolah salak di Sleman. Hal tersebut, membuat UMKM Salak Cristal membutuhkan informasi kepuasan konsumen untuk menyusun strategi pemasaran yang tepat agar mengetahui perubahan kebutuhan konsumen dan mencapai kepuasan konsumen. Oleh karena itu, peneliti perlu menganalisis kepuasan konsumen untuk membantu UMKM Salak Cristal dalam menyusun strategi pemasaran yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis tingkat kepuasan terhadap produk keripik salak pada UMKM Salak Cristal Kecamatan Turi, Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta; 2) Menganalisis strategi pemasaran yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen terhadap produk keripik salak UMKM Salak Cristal Kecamatan Turi, Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei, dan metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Non-probability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling. Besarnya sampel sebanyak 100 responden dihitung menggunakan rumus linear time function. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Nilai tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap atribut produk keripik salak UMKM Salak Cristal yaitu berada pada kriteria puas, 2) Strategi yang dapat diterapkan yaitu memperbaiki beberapa atribut yang harus ditingkatkan yaitu variasi rasa, penjualan online, promosi online, lokasi toko, seragam karyawan, kerapihan karyawan, proses pembayaran, display sesuai jumlah produk, dan label harga produk.

Abstract

Strawberry (Fragaria sp.) is a type of fruit that has high economic value. An to increase the income of strawberry farmers is by intercropping with leek. To understand the efficiency of the farming the by using production input. This research aims to 1) analyze the effect of the use of production factors, 2) analyze the level of efficiency in the use of production factors, and 3) to analyze the profit level of intercropping strawberries-leek in Serang Village, Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency. There are 35 samples obtained using simple random sampling. The analysis was performed using the Cobb Douglass production function analysis, the NPM / BKM ratio and farm income analysis. The results of this research were the use of production factors, seed; area; labor; and insecticides partially affected the production of intercropping strawberries, while the production factors of chicken-husk fertilizer; NPK-Phonska fertilizer; other fertilizers; and fungicides had no effect on the production of intercropping strawberries. The production factors for seeds; labor; and insecticides have an NPM-BKM ratio value greater than one where the use of these inputs is not efficient. Meanwhile, the production factor for land area has an NPM-BKM ratio value of less than one where the use of these inputs is not efficient. R / C for cash costs was 4.61 and R / C for total costs was 1.09. The R / C value for both cash costs and total costs has a value greater than one, so the strawberry and leek intercropping farming in Serang Village can be said to be profitable.

Abstract

The increase in coffee consumption in Japan is caused by several reasons, including changes in lifestyle in society due to westernization which introduced the habit of drinking coffee. Marketing that emphasizes instant coffee and roasted or ground coffee beans, a fast growing cafe or coffee shop. The product innovation process is increasingly developing so that Japanese people can enjoy coffee more easily. The research objective was to determine the factors that influence the volume of Indonesian coffee exports to Japan. The research method in this research uses quantitative methods. Type of data used is secondary data in the form of time series data from 1989 to 2018. The data sources were obtained from the directorate general of the United Nations and Commodities of Trade (UN Comtrade), World Bank. The analysis used multiple linear regression models through the ECM approach. The results showed that an increase in Japanese population, world tea prices and Indonesia Japan Economics Partnership (IJEPA) policies would increase the volume of Indonesian coffee exports to Japan. While Japanese coffee consumption, world coffee prices and inflation reduce the volume of Indonesian coffee exports to Japan. The increase in coffee production, Japanese GDP and the exchange rate did not increase or decrease the volume of coffee exports to Japan. Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine technical efficiency and factors affecting technical inefficiency of strawberry farming in Purbalingga Regency. This study was conducted in Karangreja Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency, Central Java Province. Purposive sampling method was utilized to select 100 farmers as the respondents. All of whom have been running their farm business for at least three years consecutively from 2015 to 2017. Stochastic frontier production function was applied to measure technical efficiency and factors affecting technical inefficiency. The findings show that strawberry farming in Purbalingga Regency, Central Java Province, is technically efficient with efficiency number varies between 26.50-99.40% and the average efficiency number of 77.80%. Furthermore, the results indicate that the farmers’ formal education and the number of household members significantly affect the technical efficiency of strawberry farming.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purworejo Regency is one of the most potential areas in Central Java which has high potency in the developing of Aloe Vera agro business. This fact inspires the writer to make a research aimed to search: (1) for the financial analysis of Aloe Vera agroindustry (nata de aloe); (2) for the added value from the process of nata dc aloe; and (3) for the strategy of developing the agro industry of nata de aloe. The writer uses the purposive method in determining the research object. And it is determined that PM Bagas Aji in Purworejo Regency is the object of the research. The result of the research shows that aloe vera agroindustry is profitable because its R/C value is bigger than one (1, 28); the actual total production are 5000 boxes and the actual revenue is Rp. 96.000.000,00,. Those numbers are bigger compared with the actual numbers when it reaches BEP, the total production are 1383 boxes and the total revenue is Rp. 26.457.377,00; it means that the added value is Rp. 1.574,00 per kg. The strategies to develop this business are improving the quality of the taste and the package of the product, investing more capital spreading the market, dan doing the efisiency production It is suggested that there must be financial development in Aloe Vera agro industry in Purworejo Regency. It is suggested that Bagas Aji Drinking Water Company should improve the quality of the taste and the package of the product and continue marketing it. The government should give financial support to promote the nata de aloe as one of the outstanding products in Purworejo Regency. Keywords: Financial Analysis; Added Value; Strategy of Developing ABSTRAK Kabupaten Purworejo merupakan salah satu daerah di Jawa Tengah yang berpotensi dalam pengembangan usahatani lidah buaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk mengetahui kelayakan finansial usaha agroindustri minuman lidah buaya (nata de aloe); kedua untuk mengetahui besarnya nilai tambah dari proses pengolahan minuman lidah buaya (nata de aloe); dan ketiga untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan usaha agroindustri minuman lidah buaya (nata de aloe). Penentuan Perusahaan Minuman Bagas Aji di Kabupaten Purworejo sebagai daerah penelitian dilakukan secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara finansial, usaha agroindustri minuman lidah buaya (nata de aloe) menguntungkan karena usaha tersebut memiliki nilai R/C lebih besar dari satu (1,28), jumlah produksi aktual (5000 kardus) dan penerimaan aktual (Rp96.000.000,00) lebih besar daripada jumlah produksi saat BEP (1.383 kardus) dan penerimaan saat BEP (Rp26.457.377,00). Nilai tambah yang diperoleh dari pengolahan pelepah lidah buaya menjadi minuman lidah buaya (nata de aloe) adalah sebesar Rp1.574,00 per kg lidah buaya. Strategi untuk mengembangkan agroindustri minuman lidah buaya (nata de aloe) dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kualitas produk minuman berupa rasa dan kemasan, memperkuat permodalan, memperluas pasar melalui promosi, dan melakukan efisiensi produksi.Disarankan agar agroindustri di Kabupaten Purworejo terus dikembangkan karena secara finansial terbukti menguntungkan. Perusahaan PM Bagas Aji disarankan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dalam hal rasa dan kemasan yang menarik serta menjaga ketersediaan produk di pasaran. Perlu adanya dukungan dari pihak lembaga keuangan dalam upaya memperkuat permodalan dan pemerintah untuk mempromosikan minuman lidah buaya (nata de aloe) sebagai produk unggulan daerah Kabupaten Purworejo. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dari perajin gropak; meningkatkan ketrampilan perajin dalam mengembangkan pemasaran gropak, dan memperbaiki kemasan retail gropak. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada 8 bulan di Agroindustri Gropak Desa Karangdadap, Kecamatan Kalibagor, Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis riset dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu sosialisasi program, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi pelatihan mencapai 84%. Pengembangan dan peningkatan produksi industri gropak di Desa Karangdadap dilakukan melalui pendampingan, bantuan pemberian alat produksi, pelatihan serta penyuluhan yang dirancang untuk membantu industri gropak dalam memajukan usahanya. Pendampingan pembuatan web dan kemasan branding serta pelatihan strategi pemasaran baik online maupun offline. Kata kunci: Strategi, Pemasaran, Singkong, Gropak.   ABSTRACT Mentoring activities aim to increase the income of the gropak home industry; improve the skills of crafters in developing gropak marketing, and improve gropak retail packaging. The service activity was carried out for 8 months at the Gropak Agroindustry, Karangdadap Village, Kalibagor District, Banyumas Regency. The method of implementing research-based community service activities is carried out through several stages, namely program socialization, activity implementation, and activity evaluation. The results of the training evaluation reached 84%. The development and improvement of gropak industrial production in Karangdadap Village is carried out through assistance, assistance in providing production equipment, training and counseling designed to assist the gropak industry in advancing its business. Assistance in web development and branding packaging as well as marketing strategy training both online and offline. Keywords: Strategy, Marketing, Cassava, Gropak.

Abstract

Biodiesel is a substitute product for fossil oil or diesel which is made from vegetable oil. Indonesia as a producer of biodiesel which is made from palm oil. This derivative product of palm oil is supported by Government policies in its utilization and supply. This policy boosted the palm oil industry, so that production and export capacity increased for a decade. The European Union is the largest consumer of biodiesel. Therefore, Indonesia exports biodiesel to the European Union and has become one of the largest exporters in the region. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that influence Indonesia's biodiesel exports in the European Union. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis using OLS to examine the factors that affect the amount of Indonesian biodiesel exports in the European Union. The results show, the regression test of the factors that affect the amount of Indonesian biodiesel exports in the European Union, namely; EU biodiesel production and biodiesel consumption have a significant or positive effect on total exports of 0.54% and 0.14%; the factor of the Rupiah exchange rate against the Euro, Indonesian biodiesel consumption, the dummy anti-dumping duty policy, international biodiesel prices and Indonesian diesel consumption have negative effects - respectively -0.04%, - 0.63%; -71.7%; -0.27%; -0.04, while the CPO production factor and oil palm land area did not significantly affect the amount of biodiesel exports to the European Union. From these factors, the government needs to increase biodiesel production and maintain biodiesel consumption in the EU so that it does not decline. Increased bilateral diplomacy to partner countries in offering biodiesel needs to be increased so that Indonesian biodiesel has a very strong competitiveness and does not depend on just one trading partner.

Abstract

Kecamatan Kutasari merupakan sentra industri gula kelapa kristal di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Perkembangan usaha gula kristal dipengaruhi pola distribusinya. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengukur kinerja rantai pasok gula kristal dan menganalisis efisiensi kinerja rantai pasok gula kristal. Lokasi penelitian meliputi tiga desa yaitu Desa Candinata, Candiwulan, dan Karangcegak Kecamatan Kutasari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Pengambilan sampel pengrajin menggunakan metode simple random sampling dan metode sensus untuk populasi pengepul kecil dan pengepul besar. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis SCOR dan Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) dengan bantuan software LINDO 6.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kinerja rantai pasok gula kristal berdasarkan analisis SCOR sudah memiliki kriteria yang baik. Analisis efisiensi kinerja pengepul kecil dan besar rantai pasok gula kristal dengan menggunakan DEA telah beroperasi secara efisien, sedangkan pengrajin belum efisien.

Abstract

This journal contains an analysis of the competitive advantages of coffee from 2015-2020 by comparing Indonesian coffee as one of the main exporting countries with several other main exporting countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam and Ethiopia. This journal uses 2 analytical tools, namely the Trade Specialization Index (ISP) and Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA). Data collected and processed from several sources including the Badan Pusan Statistik (BPS), International Coffee Organization (ICO) and Trade Statistics for International Business Development (TradeMap). Based on the results of the analysis calculation, the Trade Specialization Index (ISP) value for Indonesian coffee commodities shows results ranging from 0 to 1. This indicates that Indonesia has competitiveness and tends to be a coffee exporting country. Based on the results of Revealed Comparative Adventage (RCA) it can be seen that Ethiopia has the highest RCA score so that Ethiopia has a comparative advantage in all periods followed by Colombia, Brazil, Vietnam. While Indonesia is ranked fifth. Indonesia has to face strong competition between Brazil and Colombia in the international market. What's more, 90% of coffee exported abroad is in the form of green coffee which is of low quality. This causes Indonesia to get lower prices compared to other countries
