Abstract

This paper will review the development of an Islamic community initiated by the Puspita Bahari organization to Muslim fisherwomen in the village of Morodemak. The background of this empowerment is due to the problem of fisherwomen who work hard to find debt to meet family needs due to the uncertainty of their husband's income. This woman also experienced violence from her husband. The Puspita Bahari organization is here to invite women to be independent, to increase family finances, and to get out of poverty. This empowerment takes the form of first helping to provide welfare guarantees for fisherwomen who go to sea with recognition of status on the KTP from housewives to become fishermen. The second empowerment is to invite fisherwomen to work by making processed fish products in the form of crackers, chips, shredded so they can sell fish at a higher price. Puspita Bahari's empowerment is the empowerment of Islamic community development based on the development of community assets. The method used is library research based on websites, journals, and articles available on the internet. The findings found that there are 6 assets that are used in empowerment, for example the role of environmental assets in the form of the sea and the wealth of fish to become raw materials for processed products. The theory that will be used is the role of community assets in the development of Islamic society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of policies and conflicts between actors in restoring peatlands in HTI areas in Riau Province. This research method is qualitative. Secondary data is obtained through literature studies, or from other written sources that do not interact directly with the object of research in order to obtain data. Some of the secondary data used by researchers are documentation and data containing information on the theme of policy implementation, both from electronic and print media. The results of the study show that the inhibiting factors for the achievement of BRG's performance are First, overlapping policies related to the restoration area / map between the executors of activities, namely BRG and KLHK, which causes conflict. Second, coordination between central and local governments in the implementation of restoration so that the Riau Provincial Government is not proactive in supporting the restoration agenda. The Riau Province Environment and Forestry Service does not have a significant role in implementing the peatland restoration agenda in Riau. Third, the inactivity of the Riau Provincial Government is indicated by the fear of disruption to the Industrial Plantation Forest (HTI) and Oil Palm sectors due to peat restoration. This is related to the regional development agenda itself. The disruption of these two sectors has implications for the economy of Riau Province as a whole.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and explain the role of mothers as single parents in providing educational support to children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theory used in this research is structural functional theory by Talcott Parsons. This research method is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation with triangulation of sources to test the validity of the data. Data analysis used data analysis from Miles and Huberman. The results show that the role of mothers as single parents in carrying out educational functions can run well, namely by providing educational support to children, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely by accompanying children to study, helping children learn, reminding children to actively participate in classes and do their duties, meet learning facilities, and always provide motivation and advice to children. Single mothers also experience various obstacles, namely that they cannot fully and directly accompany their children when learning from home. In addition, single mothers also find it difficult to provide support to their children on their own, because children are sometimes difficult to manage. This happened because there was no father figure in the family.

Methods of data analysis using product moment correlation with the help of SPSS version 25.0 to determine the form of the relationship and the value of the body image variable in explaining the variable self-esteem. The results of the data analysis indicate that there is a positive relationship between body image and self-esteem where rxy = 0.432 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.05. So that the rhit value> rtab (0.432> 0.194) is obtained so that the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
