Abstract

Rendahnya produksi tanaman jagung, kedelai dan padi gogo antalain disebabkan oleh kehadiran gulma pada pertanaman tiga komoditi tersbut. Lebih dari 10% hasil pertanian hilang akibat terjadinya kompetisi antara gulma dengan tanaman hanya karena sumber cahaya saja. Jika gulma dibiarkan tidak dikendalikan, kehilangan hasil tanaman mencapai kisaran 20%-100%, tergantung pada jenis tanaman dan lingkungannya. Cara yang baik dalam menangani masalah persaingan antara gulma dengan tanaman budidaya adalah meminimalkan peluang tumbuh bagi gulma, yaitu menutup lahan sedemikian rupa dengan memanfaatkan tanaman yang memiliki kemampuan berkompetisi secara efisien serta mempertimbangkan agar tidak terjadi persaingan anatar tanaman budidaya itu sendiri. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok fola faktorial dengan dua faktor dan diulang tiga kali. Faktor pertama sistem tumpangsari terdiri dari dua taraf yaitu tumpangsari kedelai/jagung (t1), kedelai/padi gogo (t2); faktor kedua waktu kehadiran gulma dengan 5 taraf yaitu : 3 MST (h1), 5 MST (h2), 7 MST (h3), 9 MST (h4) dan gulma hadir selama pertumbuhan tanaman (h5). hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem tumpangsari kedelai/jagung lebih efisien dalam menekan kehadiran gulma dibanding dengan sistem tanam tumpangsari kedelai/padi gogo, sehingga penampilan hasil dari tanaman jagung lebih baik dibanding tanaman padi gogo dan kedelai, yang dicapai pada waktu kehadiran gulma awal MST.

Abstract

Cocoa is one of the estate crop whose role is quite important for the national economy, particularly as a provider of employment,  income and foreign exchange. The high export opportunities of cocoa beans has not been followed by the production of cocoa beans in Indonesian. The production of dried cacao  beans in Indonesia is still low. The low productivity of seeds generally caused by  Cherelle wilt of cacao. Wilting occurs due to inability of the cherelle to compete with the other cherelle in absorbing nutrients. Fertilization is an effort to maintain and fulfill the nutrients in the plants. This research is aimed to assess the effect of fertilization using cocoa pod husk and NPK tablets fertilization on cocoa crop yields. This experiment was conducted at PT. PP. Bajabang Indonesia, Cipeundeuy, West Bandung regency from December 2016 to March 2017. The experiment was conducted using a Simple Randomized Block Design that consists 10 treatments: control, single N, P, K fertilizer  297 g/tree, cocoa pod husk  9 kg/tree, cocoa pod husk  9 kg/tree + single N, P, K fertilizer 297 g/tree, cocoa pod husk 18 kg/tree + single N, P, K fertilizer  297 g/tree, cocoa pod husk 9 kg/tree  + NPK tablet fertilizer 20 tablets/tree, NPK tablet fertilizer 20 tablets/tree,  cocoa pod husk  9 kg/tree  +  NPK tablet fertilizer 10 tablets/tree, cocoa pod husk 18 kg/tree + NPK tablet fertilizer 20 tablets/ tree, cocoa pod husk 18 kg/ tree + NPK tablet fertilizer 10 tablets/tree. The result of experiment showed that there was an influence of cocoa pod husk and NPK tablet fertilizer on cocoa fruit weight at 12 MSP, that is cocoa pod husk 9 kg/tree  +  NPK  tablet fertilizer 20  tablets/tree.  Number of cherelle wilted  at 12 MSP with cocoa pod  husk 9 kg/tree  +  NPK  tablet fertilizer 20  tablets/tree.

Abstract

Laboratory-time studies to determine the duration of immersion of colchicine against growth of planlet (Krrysanthemum morifolim R) chrysanthemum varieties of in vitro way inpatients. The experiment was carried out at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Winaya Mukti from July to September 2017. The environmental design using Randomized Completely Random Design (RAL) consists of six treatments with 4 replications including: A (without colchicine immersion), B (immersion colcisin 1 hour, C (2-hour colchicine immersion), D (3-hour colchicine immersion), E (4-hour colchicine immersion) and F (5-hour colchicine immersion). The results showed that the duration of immersion of kolkisin on chrysanthemum varieties of pasopati in vitro gave a significant effect on the observation of the number of leaves aged 2 MST, 4 MST, 6 MST and 8 MST, the number of books aged 4 MST, 6 MST and 8 MST, root length , the number of roots as well as the height of the planlet. Immersion of 1 hour colchicine had a better effect on the observation of leaf count of age 2 MST, 4 MST, 6 MST and 8 MST, number of books aged 4 MST, 6 MST and 8 MST, root length, root number and plantlet height.

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of harvest time and dosage of organic fertilizer application on the yield of carrot (Daucus carota L.). This research was conducted at the experimental garden plants owned by Faculty of Agriculture, University of Winaya Mukti, in Tanjungsari, Sumedang. The height of this location is 850 meters above sea level with type C precipitation (rather wet). This research was conducted from January 2013 to April 2013.The design used in this research was a randomized block design (RBD) with factorial pattern consisting of two treatment factors i.e. the time of harvest (W) and organic fertilizers dosage (P) which were repeated 2 times. The first factor (W) consistedof four levels i.e. (w1) = 90 HST, (w2) = 100 HST, (w3) = 110 hst, and (w4) = 120 HST. The second factor (P) consists of four levels which are (p0) = 0 tonnes haˉ¹, (p1) = 10 tons haˉ¹, (p2) = 20 tons haˉ¹,and (p3) = 30 tons haˉ¹.This  experiment showed that there is no interaction between the application of thechicken coop organic fertilizer dosage with the harvest of the crops of carrot. However, treatment given to the 20 tons haˉ¹ dose of chicken coop organic fertilizer affected the weight of fresh roots, long tubers, the diameter of the bulbs, and the levels of vitamin C. Because the required application of the fertilizer will show the weight of fresh tubers larger, long tubers longer, heavier bulb diameter, and showed an increase in levels of vitamin C.Treatment of HST 100 time harvest affected the fresh tuber weight and the content of vitamin C, because this treatment is as needed; which then will show a heavier bulb  diameter, as well as elevated levels of vitamin C.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the response on the growth of clove seedling cultivar Zanzibar as the result of using  NPK Phonska fertilizer dosage and liquid organic fertilizer  concentration and to find out the acurate dosage of  NPK Phonska and liquid organic fertilizer  “Getoe”. The experiment was conducted at Kampung Ciherang Desa Gunungtua Kecamatan Cijambe Kabupaten Subang, West Java. The altitude is about 600 m above sea level, the soil type is Ultisol (pH 5,4), the average of rainfall was 1622,10 mm/year and the type of rainfall is C according to Schmidt and Ferrguson (1951). The experiment from March 2014 until June 2014. The experiment was arranged in Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisted of  six treatments, i.e :  A (2,5 g NPK + 0 cc/L of water POC Getoe), B (1,5 g NPK + 2,5 cc/L of water POC Getoe), C (2,0 g NPK + 2 cc/L of water POC Getoe), D (2,5 g NPK + 1,5 cc/L of water POC Getoe), E (3,0 g NPK + 1,0 cc/L of water POC Getoe) and F (3,5 g NPK + 0,5 cc/L of water POC Getoe) and replicated six times respectively. The result of this research showed that combined 2,5 g NPK fertilizer and 1,5 cc Getoe liquid organic fertilizer  concentration  gave the better effect on stem height, leaves of number, leaf area, dry weight of plant and dry weight of root the clove seedling cultivar Zanzibar.

Abstract

Pemanenan paprika dapat dibagi menjadi dua golongan, yaitu panen buah matang hijau dan panen buah matang berwarna (merah atau kuning) sesuai dengan permintaan pasar dan harga di pasaran. Paprika tergolong komoditi yang mudah rusak (very perishable), baik sesudah panen, maupun dalam penyimpanan. Secara umum paprika memiliki masa simpan yang pendek yaitu 5-7 hari. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari dua perlakukan yaitu beberapa taraf konsentrasi kitosan (0%, 1%, 1,5%, 2% dan 2,5%) dan dua tingkat kematangan paprika (hijau dan merah) dan diulang 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1).Pemberian Kitosan pada tingkat kematangan yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kualitas paprika (Capsicum annuum L. var Grossum) kultivar Edison,yaitu dapat mempertahankan kadar vitamin C; 2). Pengaruh pemberian kitosan pada paprika kondisi matang hijau yang paling baik terjadi pada konsentrasi 2%, yaitu terbukti dapat menghasilkan kadar vitamin C sebanyak 171, 493 mg. Sedangkan pada paprika kondisi matang merah pengaruh pemberian kitosan yang paling baik terjadi pada konsentrasi 1,5%, yaitu terbukti dapat menghasilkan kadar vitamin C sebanyak 188, 643 mg dan hasil ini tidak berbeda nyata dengan pemberian kitosan konsentrasi 2% dan 2,5%.

Abstract

This experiment was aimed to know the interaction between organic fertilizer and planting distance to growth and yield of rice cultivation with SRI method cultivation conducted in Gunungmanik Village Tanjungsari Subdistrict, Sumedang Regency, the experiment started from December 2009 until April 2010. The experiment design used was Plan of Plot Divided, with 12 treatment combinations consisting of the main plot of organic fertilizer (a1 = chicken manure a2 = sheep manure, and a3 = compost of market waste). The subplot is plant spacing (b1 = 25 cm x 25 cm, b2 = 30 cm x 30 cm, b3 = 60 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm, and b4 = 60 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm). experimental results show the interaction between organic fertilizer and plant spacing on growth and yield of rice on the cultivation of SRI method. The use of plant spacing of 60 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm, followed by provision of 10 tons ha-1 chicken cage gave the best growth against the number of tillers, the number of productive panicles per clump, the weight of 100 grains, and the weight of dry grain harvest per plot. The use of 60 x 30 x 15 spacing followed by 10 tons ha-1 chicken farming and 60 x 30 x 15 plant spacing followed by market composting of 10 tons ha-1, yielded the highest dry harvest grain.

Abstract

The aim of this research is get the influence product clove  farmer that contract system to income farmer’s. This research was conducted in Pusaka Mulya Village Kiara Pedes District Purwakarta Regency West Java Province.  Theresearch time from May until August 2015.  Input sampling with Stratification Random Sampling Methode.  Analysis data with t test different two avarage to income.  The result t test showed t test = 0,01 and t(α = 5%) = 2,024 result two system different, that income decrease that contract.

Abstract

Peluang pasar sayuran organic yang meningkat kurang diikuti dengan meningkatnya jumlah petani yang mengusahakan sayuran organic karena tingkat adopsi sayuran organic masih terbilang lambat. Pemahaman mengenai persepsi petani merupakan hal penting untuk menyusun kebijakan pengembangan pertanian organic di masa yang akan datang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi petani terhadap teknologi budidaya sayuran organic serta hubungannya dengan karakteristik petani.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Lembang, Parongpong dan Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung Barat denga responden 60 orang petani sayuran organic. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan menggunakan analisis korelasi rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan petani memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap keuntungan membudidayakansayuran organic, kesesuaian teknologi budidaya dengan kelestarian lingkungan, kemudahan dalam pelaksanaan budidaya sayuran organic, serta kemudahan mendapatkan informasi teknis budidaya.Dukungan dan pendampingan dari pemerintah sangan dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi petani dalam mengembangkan praktek pertanian organic.

Abstract

The research was to study the effect of genotype rice plants and Paenibacillus Polymixa dose to growth, yields and genotype  tolerances to  BLB (Bacterial Leaf Blight) deseases.The research was conducted in the village Kedawung Majalaya Karawang District of West Java in the rainy season, from Januari 2015 until  Mei 2015.  The  experiment was  used Strip plots design with genotypes of rice was the main plot consist of  Sri Putih (v1), Manohara (v2) and  IR 64 (v3), subplots were doses paenybacilus polymixa (d1 ) Dose Paenybacillus polymixa 0 liters / ha, (d2) Dose Paenybacillus polymixa 2.5 liters / ha (5 ml / liter), (d3) Dose Paenybacillus polymixa 5 liters / ha (10 ml / liter) and (d4) Dose Paenybacillus pol ymixa 7.5 liters / ha (15 ml / liter).  The results of the experiment shosed that no interaction between the administration of the dose variation Paenybacillus polymixa with genotype rice plants against rice yields and not interaction between administration of the dose variation Paenybacillus polymixa with genotype rice plants to suppress the intensity of the attack Bacterial leaf blight disease. For the intensity of the disease, dose applications Paenybacillus polymixa 2.5 liters / ha (5 ml / liter) was effectively used during the vegetative age of 21, 28 and 35 days after planting.
