Abstract

The research aims to obtain varieties of red beans was tolerant oflow light intensity under this shade.The research implemented in the experimental garden UNWIM BojongSeungit campus, from late June to early September 2016, with a height of 850 meters above sea level and precipitation type C (Dampish ).The experimental design used was split plot design consisting of 16 treatments and 4 Deuteronomy .Treatment consists of two levels : size of the shade (P), p0 = 0%Shade, p1 = 50% Shade, p2 = 65% Shade, p3 = 75%Shade, and varieties (v), v1 = Garut and v2 = Tasik.The results of this experiment showed the effect of growth and different results in higher plants in shade 65% and 0% in the varieties of Garut and Tasik age 35 days after planting, number of leaves per plant and the number of branches per plant at 28 days after planting in the shade of 75%, the number of pods contents per plant and the number of pods per plant in the shade of 0% whereas 50% shade highest yield of dry grain weight per plant, weight of 100 grains of seed varieties Garut and percentage (%) number of pods per plant were highest in varieties Tasik  Varieties of Garut and Tasik are sensitive to shade 75%, moderate to 65% shade and still tolerant to shade 50%.

Abstract

Pengendalian hama dan penyakit tanaman pada umumnya dilakukan pada suatu populasi tertentu, kecuali bagi tanaman yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi tinggi seperti bunga-bungaan dan buah-buahan seringkali dilakukan secara tersendiri. Pada umumnya kerusakan pada satu atau beberapa tanaman dianggap tidak berarti, kecuali pada pertanaman baru. Dari pada menyembuhkan beberapa tanaman yang sudah terserang penyakit, lebih baik melakukan tindakan pengendalian untuk menyelamatkan tanaman yang belum terserang. Dengan demikian maka cara pemberantasan penyakit yang banyak dilakukan terutama ditunjukkan untuk melindungi tanaman dari serangan hama atau penyakit, dan bukan untuk menyembuhkan setelah terserang hama atau terkena penyakit. Jika tanaman tersebut terganggu oleh paogen atau oleh keadaan lingkungan tertentu yang tidak cocok, maka salah satu atau beberapa organ dari tanaman tersebut tidak dapat melaksanakan fungsinya sebagaimana mestinya. Maka dengan demikian tanaman tersebut akan terganggu pertumbuhannya dan tidak dapat tumbuh seperti dalam keadan yang normal. Proses atau mekanisme terjadinya suatu penyakit sangat berbeda dan bergantung dari penyebab serta jenis tanamannya sendiri. Reaksi tanaman terhadap penyebab penyakit pertama-tama tidak terlihat, segera setelah itu reaksinya meluas dan terjadi perubahan dalam tanaman sehingga dapat merupakan gejala dari penyakit tersebut. Pada keadaan lebih lanjut, sel-sel atau jaringan tanaman dapat menjadi lemah dan akhirnya rusak. Dengan demikian kemampuan dari sel-sel tanaman untuk melaksanakan proses fisiologisnya secara normal akan berkurang atau bahkan terhenti sama sekali, sehingga pertumbuhan tanaman terganggu dan akhirnya mati. Pengendalian hama dan penyakit cenderung akan berhasil dengan baik apabila diterapkan strategi pengendalian secara terpadu atau peengendalian secara ekologi. Pengendalian hama terpadu adalah satu sistem pengelolaan hama dan penyakit dalam hubungannya dengan lingkungan dan dinamika species atau populasi species hama dan penyakit tertentu dengan menggunakan semua tekhnik dan metode yang sesuai dalam suattu cara yang sedapat mungkin kompatibel dan mempertahankan populasi hama dan penyakit pada tingkatan di bawah tingkat populasi yang dapat mengakibatkan kerugian secara ekonomi. Dengan kata lain usaha tersebut meliputi menciptakan suatu ekosistem yang baik, memelihara lingkungan agar tetap sehat dan membawa keuntungan bagi petani dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang.

Abstract

The research objectives were to discovered how’s Lumbricus rubellus and Organic mulching able to replenished soil physics characteristic of Inceptisol Karawang. It also been studied that soil loss to water erosion is able to be predicted by using these parameters. As a results, linearly Lumbricus and mulch were abled to reduce bulk density value, and also soil permeability. These research practices is one of tools to predict level of erosion. Moreover, Lumbricus and organic mulching are “eco-friendly” agent in a system of soil tillage-less.

Abstract

The experiment was carried out at Plant Biotechnology laboratorium and experimentalfield Faculty of Agriculture University of Winaya Mukti Tanjungsari Sumedang which the altitude is about 850 meters above sea level, from March 2008 until May 2008.Theobjective of this experiment was to studying the interaction effect of giberellat acidconcentration and and soaking time on seed viability, seed vigor, growth and yield ofJatropha curcas in nursery.Design used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) withfactorial pattern, treatment consisted of two factors and two replications. The first factorwas giberellat acid (GA3) concentration (K) which consisted of 4 levels namely : k1=250 ppm, k2= 500 ppm, k3= 750 ppm and k4= 1000 ppm. The second factor soakingtime on GA34 (M) which consisted of 4 levels namely : m1= 6 hour, m2= 18 hour dan m = 24 hour.The results of these experiment showed there was aninteraction between giberellat acid concentration and and soaking time on high of plant20 day after planting (DAP), 40 DAP, 60 DAP, number of leaves 20 DAP, 40 DAP, 60DAP, length of root, number of root, dry wight of root and dry wight of shoot.

Abstract

Price is a major factor, therefore, that the policy of raising agricultural output through price incentives to succeed, the government must know exactly how the response of supply / supply in the agricultural sector to price changes. The response will vary according to the type of commodity even among the farmers in the category of the same plant, depending on the purpose of the farmers do farming and economic conditions. The amount of supply response is also very informative for policy makers in evaluating policy -pembuat made in the field pertanian.Penelitian descriptively based on data from the Provincial Agriculture Office, 2015 West Java, Central Market Analysis of Agricultural Products Production Centers Cikajang Garutdan District Information Center Market Commodity Price Kramat Jati Jakarta. Policy directives coming horticultural commodities focused on chili, red onion and orange. Although the production of chili western Java had a surplus in terms of supply nationally, but the price of red chilli curls in particular always fluctuates, so if there is a price increase indicated a shortage of supply or shortage of production, so that the planting area three commodities were directed not at the park area, but the area outside the area and planting and planted not in the rainy season, but farmers are directed to plant in the dry season. The policy comprises: the pattern of production, regional development, institutional strengthening farmers, build supply chain and minimize supply chain, new technologies to increase production, the development of the field school, land registration and certification of products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini Bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pembentukan pelapisan sosial masyarakat pertanian muslim berdasarkan perilaku sosial budaya islami petani serta deskripsi tingkat pendapatan dan pola pengeluaran rumah tangga usahataninya. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode survey terhadap 24- rumah tangga usahatani sample di Kabupaten Bandung dan Kabupaten Garut Provinsi Jawa Barat sebagai sentra produksi sayuran dataran tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelapisan sosial masyarakat pertanian muslim dengan teori pelapisan terbentuk menjadi dua lapisan, yaitu lapisan petani berperilaku sosial budaya islami yang lebih baik dan lapisan petani berperilaku sosial budaya islami yang kurang baik. Lapisan petani berperilaku sosial budaya islami yang lebih baik memiliki tingkat pendapatan rumah tangga usahatani yang lebih tinggi dan pola pengeluaran yang lebih rasional dan proporsional dibandingkan dengan lapisan petani berperilaku sosial budaya islami yang kurang baik.

Abstract

Hybrid seed is not always have good longetivity. Therefore, breeder should select longetivity character from parental lines to get hybrid with longetivity characeter. Longetivity character can be revealed by physical and physiological identification of seed. The aim of this research was to identify physical and physiological of 16 parental lines genotypes of sweetcorn after storage. The experimental design in this research used Randomized Complete Design. The treatment in this reserach used 16 Unpad sweet corn parental lines with two replications. The data were analyzed using the F test, Scott Knott 5%, and Duncan 5%. The results showed that there were significant differences in seed electrical conductivity, germination capacity, vigor index, normal seedling dry weight and 100 seeds weight , and seed growth simultaneously at 2 month storage, and normal seedling dry weight and 100 seeds weight at 4 month storage. The best genotypes after storage was 578 which was from P parent, according to the delta value of seed quality changed.

Abstract

The Experiment  was aimed to assess influence of concentration and application of biological agent Paenibacillus polymixa to bacterial leaf blight disease and  black rice yields  (Oryza sativa L.) local varieties The research was conducted in P4S Al Mukhlis   Kiangroke Village, Bandung District, West Java. In December 2016 until April 2017. The experiment used a split-plot design with two factor : 3 application period (W) as the main plot and 4 concentration level (K) as the subplot, thus obtained 12 treatment combinations and each combination was repeated 3 times. Then obtained 36 plot of experiment. Factor I main plot (W) : W1 = morning application (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 days after planting), W2 = daytime (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 days after planting), W3 = afternoon application (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 days after planting) and factor II (K) : K1 = Control, K2 = 5 ml L-1, K3 = 10 ml L-1, K4 = 15 ml L-1. The result showed that the effect of concentration  and time of application of biological agent of Paenibacillus polymixa gave no significant effect on plant height, disease intensity, number of productive tillers, number of the dry grain harvest, number of unhulled grain per panicle, and weight of 1000 filled grains. There was an interaction between concentration and time of application of biological agent of Paenibacillus polymixa to bacterial leaf blight disease intensity at age of 95 DAP, treatment of K3 (10ml L-1) with W1 (morning application)   gave more resistance effect to bacterial leaf blight intensity.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to know the variability and heritability some field rice genotype important characters on high salinity pressure. The research was carried on Laboratory and Screen House of Balai Pengawasan dan Sertifikasi Benih Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura, Bandung with the altitude is 600 m above sea level. The time of the research was started on October 2011 until February  2012. The research used experimental methods and Randomized Block Design with 16 field rice genotype and replicated 2 times. The main observation variables are plant height, weight of dry shoot, weight of dry root, relativity of shoot and root, age of flowering, age of harvest, number of tassel per plant, number of rice per plant, percentage of empty rice per plant, weight of 1000 grain seeds per plant and result of unhulled rice per plant. The research and also showing different expected value heritability for important characters of field rice on high salinity pressure. High heritability value held by age of harvest 0,52; number of tassel per plant 0,95; number of rice per plant 0,978; percentage of empty rice 0,96 and weight of 1000 grain seeds 0,81 characters. For plant height 0,31 and age of flowering 0,42 characters including to middle heritability. While for low heritability value there are weight of dry shoot -0,028;weight of dry root -0,082; relativity of shoot and root -0,25 and result of unhulled rice per plant 0,11 characters.

Abstract

An experiment was carried out from May to October 2015 at Experimental Field of Agriculture Faculty Winaya Mukti University Tanjungsari Campus, at the altitude of 850 m above sea level,  Inceptisols soil order. The objective of these experiment was to study interaction effect of   Chicken manure and Phonska Rates on Yield of Sweet Potato Cilembu Variety. Experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) in factorial pattern with 2 replications.  The fisrt factor named chicken manure rates (A), contain of 4 levels, named : a0 = without chicken manure,  a1 = 10 t ha-1,  a2 = 20 t ha-1, a3 = 30 t ha-1. Rates of Phonska (P) contain 4 levels, named : p0 = without Phonska,  p1 = 400 kg ha-1, p2 = 800 kg ha-1  p3 = 1.200 kg ha-1. Result of experiment showed that interaction between chicken manure and phonska rates was not significant on yield of sweet potato Cilembu variety.  Main effect of chicken manure rates and phonska rates were significant on plant dry weigt at one, two, three and four month after planting, weight of  first class tuber and total tuber plot-1, while the effect on number of tuber is not significant.  The optimum chicken manure rate was 28,87 ton ha-1 with maksimum first class yield  17,96 t ha-1, and optimum chicken manure rate  was 27,18 t ha-1 with total tuber yield 20,51 t ha-1. Tuber yield response toward phonska rates was linear.
