Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of implementing an "Islamic studies" curriculum in shaping students' spiritual attitudes at the International Islamic Secondary School of Republic of Indonesia (IISS RI). This research method uses a qualitative method that is descriptive of analysis with data collection techniques observation obtained from interviews, and documentation. The researcher found that the implementation of "Islamic studies" curriculum was carried out in two ways, namely through academic programs that emphasized cognitive and affective aspects and non-academic programs which emphasized psychomotor aspects, with the application of "Islamic studies" curriculum to shape students' spiritual attitudes such as obeying Allah swt, being sincere, confident, responsible, diligent in learning, honest, disciplined, and respecting others. In addition, the researcher found that the "Islamic studies" curriculum also had a specific target that had to be fulfilled by the students as a requirement for graduation which was by memorizing the Qur'an juz 29 and 30, memorizing the hadith, memorizing dhikr and prayer and being able to give religious lectures.

Abstract

This research based on the conventional learning method used by PAI teachers which caused the lack of critical thinking among students and thus affects the low quality of education. The purpose of this research is to explain the need of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) learning methods to increase the students’ critical thinking capacity. This research used the qualitative method with w descriptive approach and took place at SMA Dharma Karya UT, South Tangerang. Main sources of data of this research are the teachers of Islamic education, 11th grade students, and the head of school. However, the secondary source of data which is used are from books, journals, and other thesis. This research also used documentary sources which consisted of previous thesis results, RPP documents, 11th grade students’ daily test documents, photo, and audio. The data collection techniques consisted of observation, interview, and documentation. However, in the implementation, there are three aspects to growing HOTS among students. First, analyzing, operating by inspecting the application of the method is students are able to critical thinking and problem solving about obedient behavior. Second, evaluating, performed by evaluating the method that was previously used is when students are given inappropriate statement by teacher and students expressed their arguments related to obedient behavior, competitive in kindness and work ethic. Third, creating, observed from the effects after learning the Islamic Education subject.

Abstract

The Covid pandemic has changed the entire order of human life, especially in the world of education. This requires education to change and adapt quickly to continue the learning process. The purpose of this article is to examine the impact of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia policy on Work From Home (WFH) in education, especially among elementary schools. This article was written by reviewing articles and related references about online learning policies that are considered a solution to continue the learning process when schools are closed to avoid spreading the virus. However, on the other hand, this policy has had an impact on the process of transforming knowledge both for students, teachers and parents or families. This study uses a qualitative method based on library research (libraries).

Abstract

In the pandemic era like now distance learning is one of the efforts to prevent the spread of the virus, even though distance learning looks very easy, it turns out that there are often obstacles in its implementation that sometimes interfere with teaching and learning activities that are or will take place. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of distance learning on the learning motivation of Semester III students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Tarbiyah Faculty of the Al-Qur'an Institute of Sciences, Jakarta. As for the sample in this study is Semester III Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah using a simple random sampling type sampling technique with 35 respondents through a questionnaire filled out by third semester students of the Institute of Al-Qur'an Science. The results showed that there was a correlation between distance learning and the learning motivation of the third semester female students of the Islamic Religious Education study program, Tarbiyah Faculty, Al-Qur'an Institute of Sciences, Jakarta. This is evidenced by the t value of 2.221. This shows that the t value is 2.221> the t table value is 2.034. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between distance learning (X) on student learning motivation (Y).

Abstract

This study tries to understand: (1) The purpose of implementing curriculum integration in Ciputat Al-Syukro Middle School; (2) Knowing the level of effectiveness of curriculum integration in Al-Syukro Ciputat Middle School on student achievement. (3) Knowing the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in implementing curriculum integration in Ciputat Al-Syukro Middle School. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques are done through observation, in-depth interviews, and observations. From the research conducted by the authors, the following results were obtained: (1) The aim of integrating the 2013 Curriculum and the Cambridge Curriculum at Ciputat Al-Syukro Middle School is to form students who have morality and competitive competitiveness in the era of globalization; (2) The results of the integration of the 2013 Curriculum and the Cambridge Curiulum are effective with graphical evidence of the results of final grades of students who are stable; (3) The strengths of curriculum integration in Al-Syukro Middle School are the ability to reason and English language skills that continue to increase according to the level. While the drawback is the lack of human resources in Ciputat Al-Syukro Middle School.

Abstract

This Study, the writer raises the moral issues that occur in this Globalization Era with the concept of moral education according to Imam 'Abdullah bin Alwi al-Haddȃ in his book an-Nashȃih ad-Dîniyyah Wa al-Washȃyȃ al-Îmȃniyyah. The purpose of this research is to find out the concept of moral education in the perspective of Imam 'Abdullah bin Alwi al-Haddȃ in his book an-Nashȃih ad-Dîniyyah Wa al-Washȃyȃ al-Îmȃniyyah. In this study, the authors used this type of library research or library research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with documentation and data analysis techniques using a Content Analysis approach (content analysis or study). The results showed that the concept of moral education in the perspective of Imam 'Abdullah bin Alwi al-Haddȃ consists of 2 aspects, namely; first, moral education to Allah, which includes obedience to Allah; repentance, patience, sincerity, adab reading the Al-Qur'an, the adab of praying and the adab of fasting, while obedience keeps away from all His prohibitions including; stay away from adultery, stay away from liquor (khamar). Second, moral education for humans, including; be kind to both parents, be kind to neighbors, and be kind to friends. The moral education contained in the book an-Nashaid ad-Diniyah is in the form of orders, recommendations and prohibitions. Imam Abdullah's concept of moral education is very relevant to today's moral education which is very much needed in the era of globalization, which is based on its benchmarks derived from Al -Qur'an and hadith.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah pihak sekolah di MIN 02 Kota Tangerang Selatan bukan hanya memperhatikan aspek kognitif dan psikomotorik saja, tetapi sikap afektif juga sangat diperhatikan. Melalui program budaya sekolah 5S, pihak sekolah menanamkan sikap religius siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tentang implementasi program budaya sekolah SS dalam menanamkan sikap religius siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi analisis. Sumber data utama adalah kepala sekolah, bidang kurikulum, dan tiga orang siswa kelas lima. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program budaya sekolah 5S (senyum, sapa, salam, sopan, santun) dalam menanamkan sikap religius siswa di MIN 02 Kota Tangerang Selatan, direalisasikan dalam 4 bentuk kegiatan pengenbangan diri yaitu kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, pengkondisian, dan keteladanan. Untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat tersebut dengan diawali dari para guru untuk selalu melaksanakan program 5S dan adanya upaya dari pihak sekolah mengundang orangtua siswa untuk selalu mengajak kerjasama agar di rumah siswa selalu menerapkan program tersebut. Dengan pelaksanaan program 5S tersebut, siswa menjadi bersikap sopan, lebih rajin dalam melaksanakan ibadah karena adanya dukungan dari pihak sekolah dan pendidik juga melaksanakannya, sehingga siswa meniru atau mencontoh apa yang dilakukan oleh pendidikan.

Abstract

The background of this research was since the writer finished her study in SDN Sukamanah 01 until studying in Institute For Quranic Studies Jakarta, the number of school committee members is only one person, therefore it encouraged the writer to conduct research of why SDN Sukamanah 01 did not add another member of school committee in line with the regulation of Republic of Indonesia Minister of Education and Culture Number 75 Year 2016 which stated that school committee members should have minimum five persons. The aim of this research is to describe School Committee’s Roles in Improving Quality of Islamic Religion Education in SDN Sukamanah 01 Kecamatan Megamendung Bogor. Qualitative method is used in this research. Besides, the data collection techniques used interview, observation and documents. This research is an descriptive analysis. The result of this research showed that school committee’s role in improving quality of education in SDN Sukamanah 01 was not optimum due to some circumstances. They are the number of school committee was only one person, the committee did not always stay in school. It was caused by other responsibilities beyond as a committee in the school. In addition, school committee’s role as a considerator was not good enough. In fact the school committee did not see the situation in the school so that school committee always agreed anything that principal reported. Quality of Islamic Religion Education in SDN Sukamanah 01 was good enough eventhough the school committee did not give full advices. This was shown through students’ result of average scores of School Final Test (UAS) 2019 which above average.

Abstract

In this study the researchers attempted to investigate, find, describe, and explain how SD Pelita Bangsa Global Islamic School (GIS) implements inclusive education learning properly so that the school's existence is still good until now, even more than 2 prospective students with special needs per year who list and want to go to school at the school and the majority of all students with special needs are complete until grade 6. The research uses descriptive research with the data analysis technique model of Miles and Huberman, namely the analysis consists of three flow activities that occur simultaneously, namely: data reduction, data presentation, withdrawal . The results of this study indicate that SD Pelita Bangsa GIS has attempted to plan lessons, especially in Arabic language subjects that are appropriate for students with special needs as described in the General Guidelines for the Implementation of Inclusive Education by the Directorate of PPK-LK Basic Education, Ministry of Education and Culture in 2014 Then, the implementation of inclusive learning, especially in Arabic subjects at SD Pelita Bangsa GIS, has been done well. And lastly, SD Pelita Bangsa GIS has carried out relevant assessments and reports of what schools implementing inclusive programs should do.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the visionary leadership of the principal has a role to help improve the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This research uses a qualitative research type, as well as a descriptive approach research approach. As the main data source, the headmaster of Al-Hasra Junior High School, Depok. Other supporting sources in the form of books, to obtain data by observation to schools, interviews with school principals, deputy principals in the field of curriculum, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers as well as to five students and students of Depok Al-Hasra Middle School. The results of this study indicate, that the visionary leadership role of school principals in improving the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), namely: The realization of Islamic basic education graduates, encouraging the creation of an atmosphere of learning in accordance with the criteria of quality learning components, supporting the existence of facilities and learning infrastructure, conducting trainings for teachers, adding lessons related to Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning specifically for Islamic Pekerti Learning (BPI) and supported by religious habituation activities, such as dhuha prayer, guidance of the Qur'an ' the Dzuhur and Asr prayers in congregation, the recitation of students and students held at the home of one of the students and as for the achievements that have been achieved in relation to Islamic Religious Education (PAI) namely Islamic Speech Competition, quiz, MHQ and Adzan at District and Champion level 2 tahfidz juz 30 level Depok City.
