Abstract

CV Tunas Karya Utama is a company engaged in the production of fiber litter boxes. The main product produced is fiber litter box. The problems that occur in production that are not met from the welding workshop, the number of requests per day is only fulfilled 30-40 barrel poles / day and a target of about 40-50 barrels. The results of the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire interviews and workloads carried out by welding workers found an unnatural/non-ergonomic work posture with 91 total risk complaints (Hight Risk) and a working pulse of 116.61 beats/minute (Medium Risk) with working in hot environments with a temperature of 33ºc-35ºc so that employees become tired quickly. The results of the improved work posture design using the REBA method approach and the working environment temperature with the addition of a tarpaulin roof beside the front porch of the house showed a significant decrease in Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSDs) complaints by 45 levels of risk (Low Risk), the working environment temperature being 25ºc-29ºc and a decrease in the category of workload to light 97.37 beats / minute (Low Risk). Product yields increased by 50 trash cans / day and demand / targets were met.

Abstract

The city of Palembang is a city that produces a fairly large amount of waste, especially metal waste which has a total daily waste of 1,358,614 kg / month. Some of this metal waste is stored by the community that will be sold to the trash, but it would be better if this garbage can be processed by the community and made into a product that has a sale value. In this study, researchers designed a mold mock-up tool that could later help make products derived from the metal waste. In this study the authors intend to convert metal waste into key chain products by using a designed mold. After distributing the questionnaire the design pattern data obtained in this study were the shape of the crescent moon, and the dimensions of the size used were 40 mm x 30 mm x 5 mm. Furthermore, researchers conducted several tests using materials from solid soap, researchers also compared the two types of molds, namely open and closed molds. After 10x experiments, the results of closed prints are more effective than open prints, this study uses a value engineering method. The purpose of this research is to be able to make a mock up mold that can later be used as a real mold by using cement material and products that use scrap metal. So that later it will lead to the reduction of metal waste in the city of Palembang.

Abstract

In Palembang, the Barbershop industry is growing very rapidly. Barbershop in Palembang City is one of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the service sector. Currently there is no clear data regarding the development of the barbershop business. However, it is clear that it is clear that the growth of this business will have a positive impact on improving the welfare of the people in Palembang City. As a business that is still classified as an MSME, barbershop is faced with various challenges. From minimal management to access to capital. There is not much research on this type of business, so data on challenges and obstacles is not yet available. From some data, there are several well-known barbershop in Palembang, namely Big Daddy's Barbershop and F1 Barbershop. Both barbershop are quite busy with customers every day. Even so, there are several barbershop in Palembang City that have to roll over. In general, this barbershop business has increased significantly every year. With the increasing interest and lifestyle of the people of Palembang, this business has considerable potential. What is done in this research is to map the MSME barbershop based on the level of competitiveness. Competitiveness is one measure of the sustainability of a business. With high competitiveness, a business can provide services according to customer expectations. The results of MSME mapping based on competitiveness can be used as the basis for policies or business development strategies. In order to achieve the research objectives, this study went through three stages. The first stage is the measurement of competitiveness. The competitiveness indicator used is profit and also the number of services. The second stage is mapping. The mapping method used is K-Means. This method is used because it is simple and the researcher can determine the number of clusters desired. In this research, two clusters will be made. The consideration taken is that this barbershop business is not too high heterogeneity between one business and another, so if too many clusters are formed it will be ineffective. The last step to take is analysis of each cluster. From the results of data processing obtained two clusters, namely the TOP cluster and the ordinary cluster. The TOP cluster is a collection of barbershop that has a good level of competitiveness, while the regular cluster is a barbershop that has low competitiveness.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world with hundreds of islands stretching from Sabang to Merauke. Health service centers in all corners of the region are starting to develop and so many people need health services. Puskesmas is an organization under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia which functions to provide public health services to people at the sub-district or regional level. The Shoulder Puskesmas, Malalayang District, is one of the integrated service centers, acceptable and accessible to the community in Malalayang District. The results of observations and interviews in the field showed that there were some services that were lacking so that there were complaints from residents who came for treatment. Complaints include lack of parking space, lack of medicines, poor cleanliness of the Puskesmas, lack of queuing seats, less clean toilets, and a lack of service information. Based on these initial indications, it is necessary to improve the quality of services at the Shoulder Health Center. SERVQUAL and ZOT are used to measure the level of satisfaction of Puskesmas services and identify criteria under tolerance limits. This study used 150 respondents. The validity and reliability tests were conducted using 30 respondents to get the results that the questionnaire is valid and reliable. The results of data processing show that attributes 1, 3, 9, 13, 15, and 16 are minus ZOT width values, thus these attributes are a priority for improving the quality of Puskesmas services.

Abstract

Melati air has aerenchyma which plays an important role in the process of transferring oxygen to the rhizofer to qualify the oxygen demand in constructed wetland system. In this research, the Sub Surface Vertical Flow Constructed Wetland (SSVF CW) system was built to determine the effect of the depth of the Echinodorus palaefolius's rhizofer on the quantity of dissolved oxygen (DO) in the SSVF CW system. This system was designed to treat domestic wastewater with HRT of 4 days. SSVF CW was built using soil and stones of 1-2 cm, 2.5-5 cm, 7-10 cm as media. This study shows that melati air with an average root length of 47.25 cm and the longest root of 60 cm was able to influence DO concentration in the system. The removal efficiency of TSS, BOD, total ammonia, and phosphate was 93,48%, 89,39%, 59,39%, and 66,53% respectively. Whereas nitrate and TDS didn't decrease which could be possible due to the well running of nitrification process.

Abstract

Textile wastewater that is discharged directly can cause damage to aquatic ecosystems and affects human health, thus requiring an effective alternative wastewater treatment. This research was conducted using a hybrid method that aims to eliminate pollutants in textile waste. The study was conducted by flowing textile waste into the bottom ash filtration and proceed to constructed wetland system with the residence time of 4 days. The results showed a decrease in the value of TDS, TSS, COD, and chromium by 16.47%, 97.09%, 72.14%, and 94.78% respectively in bottom ash output; and 13.12%; 57.53%; 7.52%; and 0.35% in the constructed wetland output. Therefore, the use of the hybrid method has been effective in treating textile waste by looking at the decrease in each test parameter.

Abstract

It cannot be denied that the domestic wastewater is a problem for the environment. Untreated wastewater can cause environmental damaging and bring a negative impact on the organism’s health especially humans. Treating the wastewater before disposing, can reduce its impact. Biofilter is one of the wastewater treatment system that utilizing microorganisms on the filtration media to reduce the organic loading. Not all organic loads are processed in the biofilter, then the other processed is needed to maximize the result as an unified system. This study is was about a hybrid biofilter and hydroponic system in treating domestic wastewater. The hydroponic system used is NFT (Nutrient Film Technique). The cultivated plants are Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L). Lettuce can absorb nutrients such as nitrates and phosphates from the treatment of liquid waste. The parameter that measured such as Ammoniac, Nitrate, Phosphate, TDS, BOD, DO, temperature, and pH with the retention time or Hydraulic Retention Time (HRT) for 5 days. The efficiency of decreasing the parameters of TDS, BOD, DO, ammonia, and phosphate in hybrid hydroponic system biofilter reactors were 31.5%, 51.6%, 99.7%, and 50.1%, respectively.

Abstract

The wastewater produced in the hospital originates from activities carried out in the hospital, such as domestic waste, clinical waste, and laboratory waste. It contains many coliform bacteria. The bacteria were dangerous if it pollutes the environment because it can be the human’s disease. In general, hospitals have implemented wastewater treatment systems using disinfectants as tertiary treatment. Disinfectant itself can endanger the environment if used continuously. In addition, the use of disinfectants costs a lot. Therefore, this study uses a constructed wetland system as an alternative of the tertiary treatment using Echinodorus palaefolius. The results obtained from studies using this system are the percentage effectiveness of decreasing total coliform, BOD, nitrate, and phosphate. The removal efficiency of the total coliform, BOD, nitrate, & phosphate was 96,17%, 62,92%, 69,98%, & 63,53% respectively.

Abstract

Perum DAMRI merupakan salah satu badan usaha milik negara (BUMN) yang operasional usahanya bergerak dibidang jasa transportasi dan satu–satunya moda transportasi umum tepatnya bus kota milik pemerintah yang berada di Kota Bandung. sebagai perusahaan moda transportasi umum diharapkan perlu memiliki anggaran yang optimal serta pelayanan secara aman, cepat, murah, nyaman dan efisien sehingga bentuk solusi agar pengguna moda transportasi tidak beralih kepada transportasi umum lainnya. Hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi besaran tarif yang ditetapkan. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai kemampuan membayar (ATP) rata-rata berdasarkan 5 kategori jenis pekerjaan yaitu sebesar Rp. 3.834 dan kemauan membayar (WTP) rata-rata berdasarkan 5 kategori jenis pekerjaan yaitu sebesar Rp. 4.269,- dengan biaya opersional kendaraan (BOK) yaitu sebesar Rp. 5.000,-. dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dijadikan tolak ukur sebagai kebijakan pada perum DAMRI karena penentuan besaran tarif ini tentunya dapat menyeimbangkan antara kepentingan pengguna moda transportasi umum dengan pengusaha moda transportasi umum dan menjadikan suatu perbaikan dan pengembangan tarif pada bus DAMRI kedepannya

Abstract

The linear regression analysis model of traffic accidents obtained, showing the results close to the number of accident data that occurred in the period of 3 years (2017-2019). The difference between traffic accidents and traffic accident estimates for 3 years. Observations were also observed on the national level of Indonesia. Based on the influence factors, the traffic accident rate can be estimated with linear regression analysis, based on the model made, so that traffic accidents data can be controlled, in order to know the traffic accident level, so it can be calibrated based on the traffic accident data obtained from the data PT Jasa Raharja. After the test, the influence and the difference that affect the traffic accident rate that the death rate due to traffic accident is not influenced by the factor due to drunk that is equal to 6%. Rather, the most dominant factors such as less traffic order by 20%, factors due to drowsiness by 17%, factors due to fatigue of 14%, and factors due to speeding by 11%.
