Abstract

Production planning can be defined as a process for producing goods in a certain period in accordance with what is predicted or scheduled through organizing resources such as labor, raw materials, machinery and other equipment. Determining the optimal number of products to be produced is the key to proper production planning. Production needs are carried out to meet demand at the minimum cost level. The purpose of this study is to estimate (predict) demand which can be used as the basis for making a production plan, by determining how many products to produce, utilizing limited resources efficiently. And increase production capacity to meet the ups and downs of demand. After forecasting by using a constant method, linear and quadratic bread, sayakaya, chocolate, coconut, blueberry, pineapple with the smallest error method, namely the standard error estimate (SEE), the constant method has the smallest error value. The next period is predicted the number of requests for sarikaya bread for 464700 packs, chocolate flavor 1390152 packs, coconut flavor 508524 packs, blueberry flavor 515112 packs, and pineapple flavor 256356 packs.

Abstract

Mentari Coffee SME’s are one of the SME’s that are engaged in processing coffee beans in Palembang. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted, it is known that the applied marketing strategy is not optimal, causing low levels of marketing and benefits. The low level of marketing and the profit obtained result in the productivity of the marketing row low. Current marketing productivity is 1,1249. In formulating the right marketing strategy, SWOT analysis is used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by SME’s. Then the SWOT matrix is used to produce an improvement strategy, which is then developed using the marketing mix (7P). The implementation of improvements included product aspects (increasing the number of variants and types of products, making product logo stickers, providing varied prices, make the label the date of production, create standard operational production), price aspects provision of prices which vary), place aspect (increasing the number of channel stores), promotion aspects (advertising through Instagram, selling online through shopee), proccess aspect (increasing service facilities), people aspect (adding workers), and physical evidance aspect (provides a comfortable waiting room). Marketing productivity after the improvement implementation was 1.1431. From these data, there is an increase in marketing productivity by 1,82%.

Abstract

Company can be competitive in industry by providing a good quality product according to specification and have no defect. Used DMAIC concept (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) of six sigma method can be used to get zero defect level. The defines phase used to identify the problem. The measures phase used performed to measure the level of disability in a production. The analyzes phase to determine the cause of problem in production process using fishbone diagram. Improvements phase used to improve the process and eliminate the cause of disability based on the analyze phase. The last phase is the controls phase, used to control the performance and ensure the main problems cause the disability does not reappear using Statistical Process Control (SPC). From the result of analysis data obtained DPMO value and sigma level before the application of six sigma method is 30,020 cups per million production on 3.38 sigma level. Whereas after the application of six sigma method obtaining DPMO 7,093 cups per million production on 3.95 sigma level. With the result, reduction of defect is as much as 22,927 cups.

Abstract

Investment feasibility analysis is a study conducted on a project (usually an investment project) whether it can be implemented or not to achieve success. Research was conducted in PT Sungai Bahar Pasifik Utama, Muaro Jambi, Jambi Province to determine the electrical energy generated from the rest of processing fiber and shell of palm to transmit the energy to a housing around the location factory. On this research will increase the engine power plant costs Rp 13.400.000.000 with economical life of 10 years and then analyzed using the analysis of feasibility of investment by 4 of investment valuation (Payback Period, Net Present Value, Profitability Index and Break Even Point analysis). As for the results of the value is from Payback Period criterion `of 96.27 months or 8,02 years, NPV equal to Rp 1,032,376,973, magnitude of PI is 1.077, and The calculation result of Break Even Point is the result 128.933 houses which must be received by PT SBPU amounting to Rp 18,356,164,384. Thus, the investment of electricity generation machine feasible to be implemented because it meets the requirements of economic feasibility.

Abstract

ICH Danareja describes home industry players engaged in the sale ofclothing brand. The implementation of the sale ofclothing matahari brand of ICH Danareja tried was with anstore system offline and online marketing through social media. The case experienced by ICH at this time was the least method of sellingclothing matahari brand through promotional media facilities. The average sales in 2018 per month are only around 300 pcs of clothing produced from conventional and online marketing with a total income of IDR. 15,000,000/month. This situation is quite low because it is fitting for the sales target of 500 pcs of clothing and has not targeted the use offacilities digital marketing as well as indicating depreciation in sales volume by 40% in 2016, 45% in 2017 and 50% in 2018. Research on the problems studied clothing sales can be improved in the manner of the Boston Consulting Group. The result of the level of clothing sales volume of the matahari brand an attractive energy development market of 0, 03%, the total development of the market share is 0, 6%, the level of development of product sales reaches 504 pcs per month. So that it can fulfill the sales target of 500 pcs of clothes per month. Next, analyzing benchmarking that refers to the strategy canvas, the price advantage of ICH is relatively standard and affordable, the lowest price of IDR. 35,000.

Abstract

Quality improvement helps companies increase sales and reduce costs, both of which can increase profitability. PP Sinar Tani Palembang is a manufacturing industry engaged in rice milling. Quality control is still very lacking, this is indicated by the data from the scales which entirely pass the prescribed standards of 5 Kg, 10 Kg and 20 Kg. defective products: for 5 Kg packaged rice as much as 0.585 or 58.5%, 10 Kg rice as much as 0.604 or 60.4% and 20 Kg rice as much as 0.612 or 61.2%. It can be seen from the percentage of PP Sinar Tani Palembang every month experiencing a loss of 21,363 Kg or 1,068 kg per day with a nominal value of Rp 228,390.00 per month. By using the Six Sigma method, it is found that there are 2 factors that cause this loss is the occurrence of excess when filling and the balance scales of shear/oil scales used do not have accuracy so that the results of the scales all exceed the specified limit. One proposal that can be done is to replace the balance scales/shear scales/oil scales with digital scales so that the measuring results are more accurate. There was a decrease in the percentage of defects, namely for the weight of 5 kg from 0.585 to 0.166; weight of 10 kg from 0.604 to 0.145; weight of 20 kg from 0.612 to 0.139. Whereas from DPMO the increase from 2 sigma to 3 sigma.

Abstract

Organizational culture is a system of disseminating trust and values that develops in an organization and directs the behavior of its members. De La Salle Catholic University of Manado is one of the educational institutions that has the motto "Religio, Mores, Cultura", in Latin which means religious, social, and culture. A good organizational culture will certainly make the conditions of the work environment, as well as the relationship between workers to be better which will eventually produce a good result as well. So far there has never been an evaluation of the condition of the current university organization. Therefore, it is necessary to identify and assess the influence of organizational culture characteristics on the current state of the organization with the Macroergonomic Organizational Questionnaire Survey (MOQS) approach. Organizational cultural characteristics that will be used as research variables according to Stephen P. Robbins namely Innovation and risk taking, Attention to detail, Outcome orientation, People Orientation, Team Orientation, Aggressiveness, and Stability. This study resulted in the contribution of each independent variable (X) to the dependent variable (Y) asOrganization and representing the Organizational Culture that was built as follows, Innovation and risk taking : 0,10%., Attention to : 1,18%., Outcome orientation : 0,16%., People orientation : 0,06% ,Team Orientation : 65,44%., Aggressiveness : 29,206% , Stability : 31,92%.

Abstract

Jaya Abadi Motor Workshop business does motorbike servicing work with bad working postures, which are standing while bending, sitting, and squatting, causing muscle injury(Musculoskeletal Disorders) for 4 mechanics. For this reason, it is necessary to design a work facility for efficient motorbike service. The Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire was used to find out the percentage of body parts that experienced no pain, sufficient pain, pain and evaluation. With NBM comparisons before and after, this will be a reference to improve operator work posture for the better. The results of the design of the tool in the form of a motorcycle lift that is useful to position the height of the motor as set with the needs of the operator (calculation of anthropometry with 5% percentile of 855 mm from the ground), there is a dynamo as an additional automation of the propulsion and there is still a hydraulic lever for backup when the dynamo switch is broken , so that helps in the process of setting the motor high and low. Based on testing the NBM results are lower (down 50% and partly down 25% from 100%), so that the working posture is better and the facility can be utilized to service motorcycles only for the type of motorcycle.

Abstract

Bimbel RHC is a tutoring service that provides science tutoring services for high school students. Bimbel is located on Bangau Street No.1073, Palembang, South Sumatra. In its effort to progress and develop, besides prioritizing the interests of RHC tutoring students, it also seeks to improve the comfort of teachers. During this time the working conditions of existing teachers are less comfortable for teachers, resulting in musculoskeletal disorder. The problem that occurs is the use of blackboards by people of different height, resulting in bad posture such as bending and tiptoeing. Long removal time can also make you tired on the arm. The method used is the calculation of anthropometry and ergonomics. From the data processing and analysis, an ergonomic whiteboard design with eraser that is united with the whiteboard and height adjustable features is obtained where the maximum height is 211 cm.

Abstract

Percetakan Mulya Jaya adalah sebuah usaha yang bergerak dibidang percetakan dengan aktivitas kerja yang beragam, seperti fotokopi, penjilidan, pencetakan, dan lainnya yang berada di wilayah Sekip Madang, Palembang. Salah satu faktor penting bagi kesehatan dan kenyaman para pekerja atau operator adalah posisi dan sikap kerja dari para pekerja itu sendiri saat melakukan aktivitas kerjanya. Disinilah ergonomi berperan untuk melakukan penyesuaian posisi para pekerja dalam bekerja. Untuk mencapai ENASE, perlu dilakukan perubahan stasiun kerja, yang sebelumnya operator bekerja pada posisi berdiri dengan kaca etalase menjadi meja dan kursi yang berguna untuk mencapai ENASE. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rancangan meja dan kursi yang sesuai dengan kondisi dari pekerja yang ada. Untuk Kursi dengan ukuran lebar, panjang, dan tinggi dudukan kursi sebesar 45cm, 42cm, dan 44 cm, tinggi sandaran kursi 30cm hingga 55cm. Sedangkan untuk perancangan meja dimensi yang dihasilkan adalah ukuran panjang, lebar, dan tinggi meja sebesar 168 cm, 68cm, dan 74cm.
