Abstract

Praktik kerukunan antar umat beragama pada masyarakat Tana Toraja terbentuk dan berjalan secara alamiah. Realitas masyarakat di Kabupaten Tana Toraja setidaknya menganut 4 agama/kepercayaan yaitu pertama, Aluk Todolo (Agama/kepercayaan Lokal), kedua, agama Kristen yang merupakan agama mayoritas, ketiga yaitu agama Katholik dan keempat Agama Islam. Warga Toraja dalam kehidupan sosialnya tetap berdampingan sejak lama tanpa terjadi konflik sampai saat ini. Studi ini memfokuskan pada bagaimana warga Tana Toraja yang terdiri dari beberapa agama itu bisa hidup bersama secara damai? dan Bagaimana cara masyarakat dari komunitas bersangkutan menjalankan relasi yang aktif dan harmonis  dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung dengan wawancara mendalam, pengamatan terlibat dan studi literature. Penelitian lapangan dilaksanakan di wilayah Tana Toraja utamanya di Kecamatan Gandangbatu Sillanan karena lokasi tersebut merupakan wilayah yang terbanyak pemeluk agama Islamnya. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik kerukunan umat beragama tersebut tercipta berkat kearifan lokal dan kecintaan warga terhadap kehidupan yang damai dalam kebersamaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkap manifestasi teologi inklusif tokoh agama Islam, Hindu, dan Kristen di Desa Plajan Kecamatan Pakis Aji Kabupaten Jepara. Dalam prosesnya, peneliti terlebih dahulu mendeskripsikan relasi tokoh agama dan persepsi mereka tentang teologi damai. Penelitian termasuk penelitian lapangan (field research) melalui pendekatan qualitative research. Peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi peran serta, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Observasi peran serta dilakukan untuk menyelami persepsi tokoh agama Islam, Hindu, dan Kristen tentang konsep perdamaian perspektif agama. Sedangkan wawancara dilakukan dengan berdialog langsung dengan aktor-aktor kunci seperti kiai atau ustad, pendeta, dan agamawan Hindu selaku agen perdamaian. Sedangkan teknik dokumentasi dilakukan dengan cara menelusuri dokumen-dokumen terkait baik berupa catatan, foto, atau artikel tentang manifestasi teologi inklusif di desa Plajan. Ternyata, media silaturahmi antar kelompok elite agamawan merupakan salah satu faktor penting berkembangnya relasi damai. Bagi orang Islam, persepsi damai tersebut mengacu kepada doktrin Alquran, misalnya QS. al-Baqarah: 256 yang mengajarkan setiap  muslim untuk saling menghormati dan respect terhadap umat agama lain. Perspektif Hindu, teologi damai direpresentasikan oleh ajaran tat twam asi (larangan bertikai, menghindari pertengkaran dengan tetangga, dan jika dicubit merasa sakit, maka tidak boleh mencubit orang lain), cung taka (menghindari nalar truth claim), vasudhaiva kutumbakam (tidak mudah terpancing provokasi), om shanti shanti shanti om (menciptakan iklim perdamaian), dan óm swastyastu (kegiatan doa bersama). Sedangkan teologi damai agama Kristen diwakili oleh Matius 5:39 dan Matius 7:12. Keduanya dimanifestasikan dengan cara bersikap rendah hati terhadap agama lain, menjauhi watak pendendam, dan menjaga masjid saat umat muslim menunaikan shalat Idul Fitri dan Idul Adha. This study aims to uncover inclusive theology manifestations of Muslim, Hindu and Christian religious leaders at Plajan village, Jepara, Indonesia. The researcher described the relations between religious leaders and perceptions of peaceful theology. Research is qualitative research by field research. The researcher used participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The friendship media between religious elite groups was an important factor in developing peaceful relations. For Muslims, it is in line with Qur'an doctrine, like at Surah al-Baqarah verse 256 to respect each other. The peaceful theology of Hindu is represented in tat twam asi teachings (avoiding fighting and quarrels), cung taka (avoiding the truth claim), rationalvasudhaiva kutumbakam (not provoked easily), om shanti shanti shanti om (creating peace climate), and swastyastu óm (prayer activities). Christianity represents Matthew 5:39 and Matthew 7:12. Both are manifested by being humble towards other religions, avoiding vengeful character, and helping prayers Eid al-Fitr and Eid- alAdha.Keywords: peacefull theology, religion, relation, perception, manifestation

Abstract

“When there is a will, there will be a way”, this proverbs is held firmly by Khaidir Sangngaji, a person born with a disability from a simple family. Only determination and perseverance are the capital of advancing education in the area. In 1995 he began to demonstrate his leadership skills with his success in inviting the Bajo community to jointly build Islamic boarding schools. Based on this background, this research was conducted to reveal the biography of Khaidir Sangngaji and his struggle in the world of education. The study was conducted in Bajo Subdistrict, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, using the History method through an oral history approach. The results of the study showed that Khaidir Sangngaji who was born with disabilities with his arms and legs was stiff, had to fight hard to get an education. That condition led him to study in a pesantren in Java. In 1995, Khaidir Sangngaji returned to Luwu to serve in the Islamic Boarding School Datuk Sulaiman, while completing his undergraduate education. He then built a pesantren in his village, with the name Babussa'adah Bajo Modern Islamic Boarding School. Persuasive strategies carried out against regional leaders and the Luwu community and produces four important things, namely; 1) establishment of an organization of pesantren foundations, 2) fundraising for development 3) retrieval of strategic locations namely a level of Madrasah Tsanawiyah which was later transformed into Islamic boarding schools, and 4) bringing religious teachers to support pesantren. At present, Islamic boarding schools have cared for six levels of education, namely: Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Raudhatul Athfal, Ibtidaiyah Madrasah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Madrasah Aliyah, and Tahfidzul Quran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengungkap bagaimana persepsi kebangsaan siswa yang beragama Kristen di Kota Manado.  Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah mix methods, menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dengan kualitatif, dengan rancangan sekuensial eksplanatori. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket nasionalisme skala Likert format empat respons yang mengukur 4 aspek: Kedaulatan NKRI dan Cinta Tanah Air, Mempertahankan Pancasila sebagai Ideologi Bangsa, Penerimaan terhadap Kebhinnekaan, dan Kepatuhan terhadap Hukum. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa, secara umum, persepsi kebangsaan siswa kristen di Kota Manado adalah baik. Namun, meski pada aspek pemahaman (kognitifnya) baik, namun dalam beberapa hal aktual/afektif masih ada kekurangan yang perlu diperbaiki pada setiap aspek, khususnya dalam aspek ideologi pancasila dan kepatuhan terhadap hukum. Direkomendasikan agar sosialisasi 4 pilar kebangsaan dilakukan dengan jangkauan sekolah yang lebih luas dengan melibatkan tokoh-tokoh publik/organisasi yang peduli kebangsaan. Di samping itu, kegiatan pengembangan nasionalisme di sekolah juga banyak mencakup kegiatan-kegiatan yang bnayak melibatkan pengalaman, termasuk kegiatan ekstra kurikuler.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the traces and progress of Pinrang scholars in the early twentieth century. This research is a qualitative research using data collection techniques for interviews and field observations. Then analyze and reduce data presented in the form of description. The results of this study indicate that the traces of the Pinrang cleric that were built along the Jampue coast to the Langnga coast, are intertwined in scientific absorbing networks to Mandar Land, Salemo, Sengkang to Mangkoso and Mecca Land. networks that are interrelated in kinship nodes. Their work can still be detected up to now with some of the manuscripts that they made as well as the pesantren they founded. Likewise, when the Pinrang Regional Secondary Affairs Office (KUADU) was formed in the 1960s. Some of them belong to the government section under the Ministry of Religion

Abstract

This study aims to describe the general condition of religious harmony in Manokwari, reveal local wisdom that has a nuance of harmony found in the local community, and reveal the function of local wisdom in caring for inter-religious harmony. This research is a qualitative research. Data were collected by observation, interview and documentation techniques and analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the condition of religious harmony in Manokwari was still maintained, despite certain frictions, but did not lead to conflicts between religious communities due to the synergy between government, customary and religious institutions that continued to engage in dialogue to reduce the potential for conflict. Nani akei sut dani, dani dekei sut nani, (you are good to me, I am good to you) is one of the local wisdoms of the indigenous Manokwari tribe that is full of nuances of religious harmony. Local wisdom is still carried out today until now in the social life of the local tribes of Manokwari and taught from generation to generation by each family from the existing tribes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementation the parunrungi baju and attarasa’s tradition in the Konjo community adult process, how is the existance of the parunrungi baju and attarasa’s tradition in the modern area, and how is the islamic perspective on the procession of tradition. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. Data sources are primary and secondary data. Researcher as a key instrument. Data collection methods are observation, deep interview and documentation. Parunrungi baju and attrarasa’s tradition is a traditional ceremony held by Konjo community in eastern Bulukumba, when  a child enters adulthood. The traditional still exists carried out by the community of Konjo until now, as a way to appreciate the ancestrals heritage. According to the islamic perpective on the procession of the traditional ceremonies, such as the presentation of offerings and flattening of teeth (attarasa) is considered contradictory to the existing rules in islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Kendari Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dengan tema “Implementasi pengangkatan Guru Pendidikan Agama di Sekolah Umum”  yang menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan memilih pendekatan studi kasus, fokus penelitian ini pada kebijakan-kebijakan yang berkaitan dengan peraturan pemerintah tentang pengangkatan guru pendidikan agama di sekolah umum, yang melibatkan  Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) dan Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional (Kemendiknas). Analisis deskriptif  untuk membahas persoalan tersebut menggunakan indikator Model Implementasi Kebijakan George C. Edward III, yakni Komunikasi, Sumber daya, Kecenderungan,  Struktur birokrasi. yang ditekankan pada tiga hal, yakni Pembuat, dokumen dan penerima kebijakanPenelitian ini menyimpulkan masih kurangnya intensitas komunikasi pembuat kebijakan, lemahnya sumber daya saat pengimplementasian, kecenderungan ego sektoral dan eselonisasi pada struktur birokrasi termasuk sistem informasi berbasis IT yang belum terjalin dengan baik antara Kemenag dan Kemendiknas terhadap beberapa peraturan dari pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah, Kementerian Keuangan terhadap kebijakan pengangkatan maupun pengembangan guru-guru pendidikan agama di sekolah umumPenelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya koordinasi dan komunikasi yang lebih baik para pejabat eselon II dan III antara dua kementerian yakni Kementerian Agama dan Kementrian Diknas, perlu dipikirkan sistem informasi yang mengakomodir guru agama yang ada di sekolah umum dan guru pengangkatan pemerintah daerah yang ditempatkan di madrasah, ketiga perlunya keberpihakan pejabat berwenang dalam hal politik anggaran untuk lebih meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama secara umum di Indonesia.

Abstract

This article tries to explain statement of Ashutosh Varshney that says communal violence is a rural phenomenon and if violence does occur it will be concentrated locally. There are areas that have high rate of violence but there are other areas with low rate of violence and even devoid of communal violence and conflicts. Using qualitative case study design, this research tries to know the social  mechanism that creates peace in the inter religion relation in Kampung Sawah to be well-maintained. This research especially aims to know the challenges faced by the people of  Kampung Sawah in keeping peaceful condition in inter-religion relation. This research finds that peace among inter-religion relation in Kampung sawah has been maintained  up to the present is the result of activities which have been conducted since a long time ago, even since Kampung Sawah area was first built. The role of kinship ties, society and religious figures and the social capital existing in Kampung Sawah secara berkelindan makes Kampung Sawah able to maintain peaceful condition up to the present. The challenges facing the people of Kampung Sawah in maintaining peace among religious communities at the moment at least encompasses two things; the  fast flow of information through social media and the high rate of population growth of migrants who are boxed in exclusive housing blocks.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menyajikan hasil penelitian tentang kerukunan sosial umat beragama di permukiman transmigrasi desa Karave Kabupaten Mamuju Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk meneropong atau memotret kerukunan sosial umat beragama di permukiman transmigrasi desa Karave. Pengumpulan data dilakukan selama lebih 14 hari di bulan Maret 2014. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa kerukunan sosial umat beragama bertahan hingga hari ini, disebabkan oleh adanya faktor pendukung tercipta dan terbangunnya kerukunan sosial, diantaranya: 1). Kesadaran akan kebhinnekaan. 2). Melakukan perlombaan dan pertandingan agustusan serta kegiatan positif lainnya dalam rangka mempererat jalinan silaturahim. (3). Memperkokoh jejaring sosial dalam kelompok tani sawit.Kata Kunci: Kerukunan, Sosial, Umat Beragama, Pluralisme.This written provided the result of research about social harmony of the religious communitys in transmigration settlement Karave village, North Mamuju Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method to support for describe the social harmony of religious communitys in transmigration settlement Karave village. Data collection was carried out for more than 14 days on March 2014. The result of research found out that the social harmony of the religious communitys is still holding until now, because of some factors of supportes and harmon builders suach as: 1). Awarness of diversity; 2). Do competitions and august matches and other positive activities in order to strengthen the relationship of friendship; 3). Strengthen social networking in oil palm farmer groups.Keyword: Harmony, Social, Religious Community, Pluralism.
