This study aims to (1) describe the validity of under-development virtual laboratory media of virus material, (2) describe practicality of under-development virtual laboratory media of virus material, (3) describe effectiveness of under-development virtual laboratory media of virus material.This study is research and development using the ADDIE model (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). The study instruments are compiled including virtual laboratory media validation sheets for experts, virtual laboratory media practicality sheets for biology teachers and student, critical thinking questions and procedural skills. The application of virtual laboratory media includes limited trials and field trials. The field trial subjects are students of class X at State Senior High School 1 Wonosobo. The field trial design for this research is a pretest-posttest control group design. The practicality of virtual laboratory media is analyzed from data on filling out the eligibility sheet by media and material experts by managing the average score and categorizing the data into ideal ratings. The practicality of virtual laboratory media is analyzed from the data of filling in the practicality sheet by the biology teacher by managing the average score by categorizing the data as an ideal assessment. The effectiveness of virtual laboratory media is analyzed from n-gain data on critical thinking and procedural skills using the Mann-Whitney U test.The results showed that (1) the under-development virtual laboratory media is valid for use in teaching biology on viruses based on expert validation (2) the under-development virtual laboratory media is practically used in learning biology material on viruses based on the biology teacher's assessment. Thus, it becomes a solution for laboratory tools and materials for State Senior High School 1 Wonosobo which can facilitate their students in improving HOTS skill (3) the under-development virtual laboratory media effectively improves students' higher-order thinking skills based on Mann Withey U analysis on trial data.

STEAM learning provides opportunities for students to apply science as a body of knowledge, a way of investigating, a way of thinking, and the interaction of science, technology and society. This study aims to improve the scientific literacy skills of class X students through the integration of STEAM learning using the mind mapping technique on viruses. This research is a pre-experimental design pre-test and post-test applied to 10th grade students of senior high school using random sampling technique. A total of 75 students from 3 different classes were accepted as participants and treated for pre-test and post-test. The instruments used to collect data were multiple choice test designs and essays based on indicators of scientific literacy ability. This study provides an explanation of the application of STEAM learning with mind mapping techniques to viral material to empower students' scientific literacy abilities. The application of STEAM learning has proven to be effective in empowering students' scientific literacy skills from low to high levels.

MTs and SMP teachers in Rowosari Kendal District have difficulty carrying out authentic assessments manually because the components being assessed and the number of students to be observed are not small, and it takes a lot of time and effort, and they are prone to errors or omissions in the assessment. In addition, they are aware that the assessment is still focused on the cognitive aspects of students through learning achievement tests, while the assessment of attitudes and skills is only at a glance without using assessment instruments, besides that teachers must address technological developments that are increasingly accelerating and it is important to increase students' IT literacy. One of the potential learning methods to help teachers in authentic assessment and improve IT literacy is by applying the Authentic Assessment System (Sipentik) application.. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the characteristics of Sipentik as an authentic assessment application for teachers and the effectiveness of the Sipentik application in the teaching and learning process in schools. This type of field research uses a mixed methods approach with an embedded experimental model design , with data collection techniques through documentation, questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The data that has been collected can then be analyzed through quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) "Sipentik" as an authentic assessment application for teachers has the characteristics of this internet-based application with its main feature being technology for authentically assessing students, besides that it can also help teachers manage the learning system in class more easily and directed, also makes teachers more able to improve IT literacy. 2) The Sipentik application in the teaching and learning process in schools is effective as an authentic teacher assessment to improve students' IT literacy at SMP N 1 Rowosari, 3) The authentic assessment of SMP N 1 Rowosari teachers using the Sipentik application shows better and more effective than using the manual.

The potential that must be developed and formed in tertiary institutions is the ability to think critically and be independent. In addition, equalization of learning outcomes through education at the KKNI level (Indonesian National Qualifications Framework) which states that students graduating from diploma 4 or undergraduate programs are equivalent to level six, where graduates are expected to have logical, critical thinking and are expected to be able to demonstrate independent, quality, and measurable performance. This study aims to analyze the validity of the e-module, test the effectiveness of the e-module in increasing critical thinking skills and independence in learning animal physiology from the digestive system material, and examine student responses related to the e-module. This study uses the 4-D Thiagarajan model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). Based on the results of the recapitulation of the e-module assessment by the material and media expert validator, it was stated that the e-module on the digestive systems of animals is very suitable for use in learning. The effectiveness of the digestive system e-module in animals related to the ability to think critically and independently before and after using the digestive system e-module experienced an increase in critical thinking skills and independence in the moderate category. The results of the observation data on student independence in learning are very good. Student responses to the use of e-modules as learning media can make it easier for students to understand learning material, especially material about the digestive system.

The development of a Problem Based Learning-oriented Movement System module with a Computational Thinking approach to improving students' critical thinking skills is one of the efforts to improve this pedagogic competency. The purpose of this research is to analyze the validation of problem-based learning-oriented motion system modules with a computational thinking approach to improve students' critical thinking skills and analyze the feasibility of problem-based learning-oriented motion system modules with a computational thinking approach to improve students' critical thinking skills. This study used a Research and Development (RnD) design and the technique used was a one-shot case study. The research was conducted at MAN Salatiga with 71 research subjects divided into 2 classes. The results of the study are as follows: (1) the assessment of the material by material experts obtained 85, 67%, and 76.5% with very good and good criteria, and the assessment by media experts obtained 90% and 92.00% with very good criteria so that the media declared valid. The value obtained from students who used the module and then worked on critical thinking questions obtained an average value of 92.69 after being analyzed based on the predetermined Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). KKM value determined namely 75. The test results showed 98.59% of students passed the very high category, So it can be stated that the use of the Movement System module oriented to Problem Based Learning with Computational Thinking is approachable to improve students' critical thinking skills.

The aim of this research is improving student critical thinking skills using interactive E-module based on macromedia flash. Critical thinking skills are one of the 4C skills students need to have in dealing with 21st century learning. Critical thinking skills is the ability to think reflectively and deeply in obtaining relevant information or knowledge and being able to make conclusions or decisions correctly and appropriately. Science teacher at SMPN 3 Jember has never trained a student's critical thinking skills through the learning process and has never done research on class 7 student skills. Vastly improved technology can be used in education to develop the taught materials of modules called e-modules. The study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of an interactive e-module based on macromedia flash to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in science learning. The type of research used is research and development with the ADDIE development model consisting of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that 1) the interactive e-module based on macromedia flash was declared very valid with a percentage of 93%, 2) the practicality of interactive e-module based on macromedia flash was declared very good with a percentage of 95.2%, and 3) the interactive e-module based on macromedia flash was declared effective for improving students' critical thinking skills with an n-gain value of 0.4 belonging to the medium category and getting a positive response from students with percentage of 81.25% which was classified as positive category. Based on the results of the study, the interactive e-modules based on macromedia flash is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

This study focuses on the influence of learning approaches on students' critical thinking skills, the lack of teacher diversity in teaching, and the utilization of learning media sources. After applying the environmental approach, the purpose was to determine the effect of critical thinking skills and minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The research design is Quasi-Experimental Design (Time Series Design). The research sample was 20 fifth-grade students at SDN Gondo 01. The pretest and posttest normality tests were normally distributed. Output SPSS pretest column sig. has a value of 0.200 > (0.05) means that the data is normally distributed. The posttest results of the SPSS output are in the sig column. The value 0.155 > (0.05) means the data is normally distributed. The paired sample t-test hypothesis test obtained sig. (2-heads) 0.000. If sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < (0.05), then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the environmental approach on students' critical thinking skills. The results of hypothesis testing two t-tests for one Sample obtained the results of Tcount (0.20) and Ttable (2.09). If Tcount > - Ttable, then Ho is accepted, which means that the student has fulfilled the KKM, which is 70. Key words: Environmental Approach, Critical Thinking, Science Learning.

The Treffinger Model is an instructional approach developed with the primary goal of stimulating creativity and building process skills skills in students. This study aims to assess the extent to which the Treffinger Model enhances process skills abilities and student learning outcomes in addressing complex geographical challenges. A quantitative approach, specifically quasi-experimental design, was adopted to compare the effectiveness of the Treffinger Model with conventional teaching methods. The research involved two groups of eighth-grade students, with one group taught using the Treffinger Model and the other group through conventional methods. Data were collected for process skills and learning outcomes through pre-test and post-test assessments. The findings of this research indicate that the Treffinger Model has a significant positive impact on students' process skills and learning outcomes. The analysis of process skills reveals that students exposed to the Treffinger Model demonstrated improved abilities in observation, communication, grouping, measurement, drawing conclusions, and prediction. Additionally, the analysis of learning outcomes reveals that students taught with the Treffinger Model achieved higher average scores compared to those taught using conventional methods. The novelty of this research lies in its exploration of innovative pedagogical approaches and their impact on students' process skills abilities to comprehend and analyze geographical concepts more deeply. The benefit to the advancement of knowledge is the potential to increase students' interest and produce a generation of individuals who are more aware and knowledgeable about geographical issues.

Teaching materials can improve students' skills. Global warming material is important to learn to solve social problems or global issues. Therefore, this study aims to develop an integrated STEM module on global warming material to train learners' STEM literacy. This research method is Research and Development (R&D). The data is analyzed descriptively. N-gain is used to determine module effectiveness and improve students' STEM literacy. The sample in this study was class X which amounted to 36 learners. The results showed that the STEM-based modules developed had criteria suitable for use in the learning process in terms of suitability of the material with STEM with a validation score of 0.75 in the high category (feasible), and aspects of the feasibility of teaching materials which were divided into several assessments with a score of 0.87 in the very high category (very feasible), module design with a score of 0.86 in the very high category (very feasible) and the language component with a score of 0.85 in the very high category (very feasible), The average perception of learners towards the use of modules in the overall learning process is 70.53 medium categories. STEM-based modules are suitable to be used as an alternative source of learning global warming in physics learning to train students' STEM literacy.

The aim of this study is to describe the characteristics, analyze the validity and readability of student’s worksheet (LKPD) on environmental pollution material for junior high school. This type of research was a Research and Development (R&D). Development research using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This development was limited to the development stage. The practically instrument was a questionnaire of teacher and students. The validator consists of media expert and material expert. The data obtained is qualitative data converted to quantitative data. The result showed that the validity by media expert obtained high validity criteria with an average score of 94.7 and an average score by material expert of 84.5 obtained a high valid criterion. The readability test of student’s worksheet was tested on limited students with 10 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ngrampal and 1 science teacher. The result of the response of student obtained 92.5 with very good criteria. The result of teacher response obtained 91.98 with very good criteria. It can be concluded that the student’s worksheet develops feasible and practically used in the learning process.
