Abstract

Halal Industrial Estates were built in Indonesia for the purpose of making Indonesia the center of the world's halal destinations. Halal Industrial Estates that have received licenses include the Halal Industrial Park Sidoarjo (HIPS), East Java. HIPS has only been operating for 3 years. As one of the industrial estates that focuses on MSME business investors, HIPS deserves the spotlight of this research regarding the extent of organizational effectiveness that has been implemented. On the one hand, HIPS has been able to demonstrate its organizational effectiveness by obtaining business actors who invest in the area. Products produced by business actors in the HIPS area can be guaranteed halal because from the beginning of entering the area they must be halal certified. Although indeed the quantity of investors in HIPS has not been maximized to make HIPS the main barometer of Indonesia's halal destinations in the eyes of the world.

Abstract

This concept cannot yet be a universal measure of human development. The Islamic human development index (I-HDI) is here to offer a concept for measuring human development based on maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. The research aims to analyze economic growth in mediating the influence of government spending on the education, health, and social sectors, open unemployment, and consumption patterns on I-HDI and HDI. The research results of government spending on the education, health, and social sectors as well as consumption patterns is positive and significant, while economic growth and the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) have a positive but not significant effect on I-HDI. Meanwhile, government spending on the health sector, social sector, and consumption patterns have a positive and significant effect, government spending on the education sector has a negative and insignificant effect, and economic growth and TPT have a positive and insignificant effect on HDI. The magnitude of the direct influence on IHDI is 53.04 percent and on HDI is 59.71 percent. Economic growth as an intervening variable is unable to mediate the influence of government spending on the education sector, government spending on the health sector, government spending on the social sector, TPT, and consumption on I-HDI and HDI.

We conducted this research on MSME traders in Mempawah District, West Kalimantan Province, and monitored their decision to choose BMT from September 2023 until its completion. The primary data for this study was collected through questionnaires distributed to MSME traders in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province. We used the Warp Partial Least Square program for data collection in this study. PLS is a causal modeling approach whose goal is to maximize variable variability. The results of this study are The study concludes that motivation significantly and positively influences push-pull mooring, switching significantly and positively influences the trader's decision to choose BMT, and switching intention significantly and positively influences the trader's decision to choose BMT. Push Pull Mooring Mediates the Influence of Motivation on the Trader's Decision to Choose BMT. Push Pull Mooring Mediates the Effect of Switching Intention on the Trader's Decision to Choose BMT.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of profit and loss-sharing financing in Sharia banking in North Sumatra. Profit and loss sharing is where one party, having capital (shahibul maal or rabbul maal), entrusts a certain amount of funds to another party, a business actor (mudharib), to carry out an activity or business. The theoretical basis of this research uses several main theories. The basic theory used in this research is Profit and Loss Sharing (PLS) with two main models, namely mudharabah and musyarakah. The ratification of Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 21 of 2008 concerning Sharia Banking (UUPS) is a responsive effort to the growth of the Sharia banking industry in Indonesia. The main principle applied is the principle of profit sharing with different characteristics from the interest system, one of which is financing products. Although still faltering, the development of sharia financing has begun to grow significantly both through mudharabah and musyarakah. This research uses a descriptive research approach on qualitative and quantitative data carried out using pairwise comparison questionnaire interviews and documentation. The results are divided into five parts: analysis of research synthesis results, analysis of aspect synthesis results, analysis of problem synthesis results, analysis of solution synthesis results, strategy cluster analysis, and implementation model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of profit-sharing al-qisth-based agriculture in syirkah al-mudharabah in Bone Regency. This type of this study is qualitative descriptive using a phenomenological approach to describe the meaning of welfare for farmers through the implementation of a fair syirkah al-mudharabah contract with the stages of determining the scope of the phenomenon, compiling a list of questions, collecting data, clusters of meaning, describing the essence, and reporting. The source of data in this study is the owner farmer and land management farmers. Methods of data collection using the method observation, interview, documentation, and reference search. Then processing techniques and data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the concept of agricultural profit sharing is practiced by farmers in Bone Regency, namely 1/2 if the seeds are borne by the owner or 1/3 if the seeds are borne by the manager. Share the results divided after spending the costs incurred during the contract ongoing, the profit sharing portion of bage dua and bage tellu has been considered fair by each party, this depends on how big the capital contribution is given, namely the party that contributes more capital, the greater the benefits to be gained. As a suggestion from this research, it is expected that the government or Islamic financial institutions can adopt this profit-sharing system as a model to facilitate more equitable agricultural financing and cooperation in rural areas.

Abstract

The current research examines the link that exists between Job Performance (JP), Organizational Commitment (OC), and Organizational Identification (OI) in the special setting of Islamic higher education institutions located in Medan City. Through the use of a rigorous quantitative framework—Covariance-based Structural Equation Modelling, or CB-SEM—150 personnel from several Islamic universities provided data that were carefully collected. The empirical results demonstrate a substantial positive association between OI and JP, with OC serving as a mediating variable that enhances the impact of OI on JP. These conclusions highlight the strategic necessity for institutions to foster robust organizational identification to improve employee performance. The study adds to the body of knowledge on organizational behavior by clarifying the little-known mediating function of OC in the OI-JP dynamic, especially in Islamic educational settings, which have not gotten much attention in previous research. This study posits that the cultivation of OI among employees is not merely advantageous but essential for bolstering institutional commitment and, by extension, performance. Given that this research is the first of its kind conducted in Islamic universities in Medan, it offers fresh scholarly perspectives and practical implications for both academia and institutional leaders, particularly in understanding the mechanisms through which OI influences organizational outcomes. The findings thus hold profound implications for future research and policy development in Islamic educational management, extending the discourse on organizational identification and performance into new and significant dimensions.
