Abstract

This study is a survey on Credit Union (CU) Cikal Mas Purwokerto and BaitutTamwil Muhammadiyah (BTM) Dana Mentari Patikraja members in Banyumas. Theaims of this study are to determine: (1) The differences of financial literacy levels between CU Cikal Mas Purwokerto and BTM Dana Mentari Patikraja members at thethree aspects i.e. behaviors, knowledge and attitudes, (2) The level of sharia aspectsknowledge of BTM Dana Mentari Patikraja members, (3) The implementation of interest system of CU Cikal Mas Purwokerto, and (4) The implementation of profit sharingsystem of BTM Dana Mentari Patikraja.The population in this study are individuals in Banyumas who grouped into twogroups, i.e. the members of Credit Union Cikal Mas Purwokerto and the members ofBaitut TamwilMuhammadiyah Dana Mentari Patikraja. There were 60 respondentstaken in this study which consisted of 30 respondents for each group. Based on the research and analysis of data using different test Mann Whitney U showed that: (1)Thereare differences between the financial literacy levels of CU Cikal Mas Purwokertomembers and BTM Dana Mentari Patikraja members viewed from three aspects: behaviors, knowledge and attitudes,(2) The level of sharia aspects knowledge of BTMDana Mentari Patikraja members are relatively low, (3) The implementation of interest system in CU Cikal Mas Purwokerto as according to the theory that the loan interest relatively smaller than the saving interest, it known based on interview with managers of CU Cikal Mas Purwokerto, and (4) The implementation of profit sharing system in BTM Dana Mentari Patikrajaas according to the theory used by Islamic financial institutions that profit sharing agreement to both parties when the contract is underway.

Abstract

Efficient portfolio is achieved by combining several securities with the right proportions that maximize return and minimize risk. Optimal portfolio even advisable formed to know the best one stock alternatives, are next to be done that portfolio performance estimation so that investors can know whether the investments made to line with expectations. The results of this research are, there was no differences optimal portfolio stock return based on single index model between index Kompas100 with LQ45, There was no difference in the optimal portfolio on stock return based single index model between Kompas100 index with JII index, There was no difference in the optimal portfolio stock return based on single index model between the LQ45 index with JII index, Performance Optimum portfolio of shares JII not better than the Compass 100 and LQ45.

Abstract

Purpose: “The Influence of Firm Size, Bid Ask Spread, and Trading Volume on Price Reversal” is a research that aims to analyze the factors that affect price reversal on companies listed in LQ45 Index in period of November 8 - November 16, 2016. Methodology: This research is an associative study to determine the relationship or influence between two or more variables. The population used in this study was all companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the study period. The method of collecting data used purposive sampling. Data obtained from purposive sampling method was 44 companies. Analysis method used in this research was multiple linear regression. Testing the hypothesis used the adjusted coefficient of determination, t-statistic test, and f-statistic test. Findings: The result of this research shows that firm size has positive and significant effect to price reversal, bid ask spread has positive and significant effect to price reversal, and trading volume has positive and significant impact to price reversal. Implications: The implications of the above conclusions are that investors can pay attention to the factor of firm size, bid ask spread, and trading volume as a basic for consideration to trade on the exchange to get the best return in accordance with the compensation of the risk that they received. Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze in depth how the strategic management of early childhood in North Purwokerto district Banyumas. The strategy used in this research is case study. The data required is about the history and development of early childhood up, Vision, Mission, Goals and strategies, early childhood programs, data on the implementation of early childhood, data on customer satisfaction. These data were collected through interviews, observation and questionnaires. Based on data analysis and discussion, concluded that the strategic formulation in early childhood usually do not go well. The study also concluded that the performance aspects of early childhood visits from satisfied customers (parents) in general is good. This study provides implications, the need for long-term strategy formulation, or surveys of consumers with different indicators.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that can effect profitability of syariah banking. Variables examined are current ratio, debt to total asset ratio, total asset turnover, operational efficiency and credit, and third party funds . The population in this research is syariah banking. And sample in this research is determined through purposive and unbalance data sampling at period 2005-2011. Total 8 banking companies are taken as study’s sample. The analyze technique used is multiple liniear Regression. The result show that total asset turnover, operational efficiency and credit, third party funds have influence on profitability of syariah banking. While current ratio and debt to total asset ratio haven’t influence on profitability of syariah banking.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to measure the significant of Municipal Enterprises (BUMD) performance. This research is very important for BUMDmanagement and executive committe of Purbalingga Regency for self-evaluation. Higher performance beside will give the more original income (PAD), it will fullfill theaccountability and transparency of public sector. Population of the research is whole of the BUMD in Purbalingga Regency. Wenuse the judgement method to obtain sampel. Base on that method, we took 3 BUMD, they are PDAM, Apotik Purbahusada and Purbalingga Ventura. The unaudited financial statement as data for measure the performance ratios are Return On Equity (ROE), Return on Investment (ROI), Profitabilty Ratios, and Likuidity Ratios. Result of the research show that the performance of BUMD based on the four indicators ratios have increased.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sikap, kepuasan, kepercayaan, nilai, dan komitmen terhadap loyalitas merek dengan hubungan merek sebagai variabel mediasi dan moderasi (studi pada masyarakat Purbalingga). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen rokok Surya Pro Mild di wilayah Purbalingga sebanyak 100 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah estimated interval karena populasi dalam penelitian ini tidak diketahui. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan mediasi dan moderasi dengan Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 22. Hasil analisis penelitian adalah bahwa sikap konsumen berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas merek, kepuasan konsumen berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas merek., kepercayaan konsumen secara positif mempengaruhi loyalitas merek, nilai pelanggan secara positif mempengaruhi loyalitas merek, komitmen konsumen memiliki efek positif pada loyalitas merek, hubungan merek memediasi hubungan antara sikap, kepuasan, kepercayaan, nilai, dan komitmen terhadap kesetiaan merek, dan hubungan merek memoderasi hubungan antara sikap, kepuasan, kepercayaan, nilai, dan komitmen terhadap loyalitas merek.

Abstract

The profitability of manufacturing companies in Indonesia is influenced by a variety of financial factors that can be measured by using financial ratios. This research was conducted to analyze weather the working capital management, liquidity, leverage and firm size influence on the company's profitability measured by return on assets (ROA). The sample in this research was taken using purposive sampling method, in order to get 29 companies manufacturing consumer goods industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the year 2009-2011. The influence of independent variables such as receivables collection period (RCP), inventory conversion period (ICP), payable deferral period (PDP), current ratio (CR), debt ratio (DR) and the size of the company to the return on assets was investigated using multiple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that the variables of the receivables collection period, inventory conversion period and firm size have negative effect on return on assets and current ratio has positive effect on return on assets. While the payable deferral period and debt ratio variables have no impact on return on assets.

Abstract

The study analysed food, beverage, and tobacco firms (classified as ISIC 31) in Indonesia during 1992-2006. It aimed to find out the effect of number of firm, purchase of fixed capital and number of employee on the ouput of food, berverage, and tobacco industries simultaneously as well as partially on the industries ouput; find out the efficiency and returns to scale of those industries.The results showed that all variable simultaneously influenced the put of those industries. Partially the effect of the number of firm and the purchase of fixed capital were significant, but number of employee was insignificant. The higher number of firm and fixed capital, the higher the industry out put. Further more the study found that those industries have not been effivent and have been in increassing return to scale as shown by their respective regression soefficient in increassing return to scale as shown by their resprective regression coefficient which were more than one.

Abstract

This research is intended to evaluate the performance of public service from external perspective. Accordingly, the study approach employed is to get feedback from both individuals and business sector as consumers of the public service rendered by the local government. The aims of the study are to get data and information on the degree of the usage of public service, to identify factors influencing public dissatisfaction after consuming service, and to identify the causes of not consuming service. The study employs survey method and the sample size are 505 and 150 for non-business individuals and business sector, respectively. The sample saize of non-business individuals is assumed to be enough compared with that recommended by the Depdagri guidance. The conclusion drawn from the findings is the Local Government of Brebes needs to formulate several steps to improve all public service sectors. Generally, however, the proportion of the respondents’ satisfaction is higher than that of dissatisfied respondent. Many reasons that cause the respondent not using the service indicate the inefficiency of Brebes Government in providing the public services. The Local Government of Brebes also needs to show his commitment and real effort to handle a lot of real issues as stated in the general questions, so that the people’s attitude and trust to the Local Government of Brebes will increase.
