Abstract

This research aimed to analyze: the influence of organizational climate on organizational commitment, the effect of organizational climate on work motivation, work motivation influences the organizational commitment and the effect of organizational climate on organizational commitment and work motivation as an intermediate variable . The type of this research include the decriptive study which is the research on issues such as the current fact of population and the comparative causal study which is the type of research with causal characteristic between two or more variables. The population in this study is amount  62 respondens with 62 samples. The primary data in this study was obtained from the questionnaires to the respondents and analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 2.0 M3. This study was able to prove a direct influence on the organizational commitment of organizational climate variable, direct and indirect influence of organizational climate variables on work motivation, work motivation variable direct influence on organizational commitment and the impact of organizational climate on organizational commitment and work motivation as a intermediate variable. Based on the research result, so the suggestion of organization are need to enhance, pay attention, mantain and repair organizational climate toward employee because the condusive organizational climate can create comfortable atmosphere for the employee and have direct impact to job motivation and organizational commitment.  Keywords: organizational commitment, organizational climate, work motivation

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze: the influence of working environment and job satisfaction toward to the employee discipline working at PT. Berjaya Pet Sumatera. This research is a descriptive study of causative research that purpose to see how far the dependent variables affects the independent variable. The Population in this research is the all employees of PT. Berjaya Pet Sumatera. Cluster sampling technique is Total sampling. Sample was 46 people. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to a sample / research respondents. Secondary data was obtained from the documentation, literature study, and previous studies in connection with the study material. The collected data are then analyzed statistically by descriptive and multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of this research can be concluded that (1) significant working stress effects on employee turnover intention of PT. Berjaya Pet Sumatera. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of service performance by using The Bank Service Quality Index at the Bank Nagari Branch at Universitas Negeri Padang. The study population is all customers of Bank Nagari Branch at UNP and sample of 310 people. Based on factor analysis, six factors were obtained to measure bank performance, namely: realization, service portfolio, and reliability; access; price; guarantee; empathy; and effectiveness are sorted by the importance of each dimension. The results also show that the performance of Bank Nagari Branch at UNP based on BSQ Index of 3.7 indicating that its performance is good enough.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of local taxes on revenue, and to determine the influence of local retributions on revenue as well as to determine the effect of local taxes and local retributions together on revenue. The research was conducted in the city of Padang using secondary data from 2000 to 2014 and classified as descriptive research. Based on the results of data processing, it can be seen that the regression model there is no irregularity in the classical assumption test. Then, based on the results of t test analysis found that local taxes have a positive and significant impact on revenue. Then local retribution also have a positive and significant impact on revenue. And to influence together through F test, it is known that local taxes and local retributions together have a positive and significant impact on revenue. Keywords: local taxes, local retribution, local revenue

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of leadership, and work stress on employee performance at the Public Works Department of Padang City. This study is causative research. The population of this study is employees at public Department Employment of Padang city was utilized to all 129 people. Meanwhile Slovin formulas were used to taken samples amounted to 98 respondents. The sampling method used proportional stratified random sampling. Path analysis technique were used with SPSS program version 15.0. This study result show that: (1). leadership style influenced significant positive effect on employee performance at public Works Department of Padang city, (2). work stress influenced significant negative effect on employee performance at public Works Department of Padang city, (3). Leadership style influenced significant negative effect on employee stress in public Works Department of Padang city. Keywords: leadership style, work stress, performance

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of sense, feel, think and act toward revisit interest of  tourist for Lembah Harau tourism in Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota. This research included type of caustive research. Populations on this study are all tourist who visited of Lembah Harau. By using the formula slovin, then selected a sample size of 100 people, which is carried out by sampling Accidental. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the multiple regression using SPSS version 16.00. The results based multiple regression analysis showed that: sense, feel, think and act variabel has a significant effect toward revisit interest for Lembah  Harau tourism. Keywords: Sense, Feel, Think, Act, Revisit Interest, Lembah Harau Tourism.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to identify the prioritized attributes by consumers in buying refill drinking water, analyzing customer satisfaction and loyalty as well as recommending measures for refill drinking water depot to win the competition. The research was conducted by using a survey of consumers of family and nonfamily. Prioritized attributes by consumers based on eckenrode method were water clarity, price, distance, source of raw water, water taste and odor of water. Consumers were classified as very satisfied based on CSI results. Based on IPA results, price performance, bonuses and workers hospitality were need to be improved. CLI results indicate that consumers were loyal and there was a significant relationship between satisfaction and loyalty based on PLS. Recommendations for refill drinking water depot was to provide the best performance of prioritized attributes and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata sering menjadi prioritas pembangunan sebuah kota yang kemudian memicu pembangunan-pembangunan di sektor-sektor lain seperti ekonomi dan perdagangan. Di Bukittinggi, kota yang telah mendaklarasikan dirinya sebagai Kota Wisata, sektor pariwisata telah memberikan banyak dampak positif bagi masyarakatnya, terutama kepada para pemilik Art Shop di Pasar Atas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh Bauran Pemasaran terhadap penjualan pada art shop-art shop di Pasar Atas Bukittinggi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling method. Dan analisis yang digunakan diantaranya simple linear correlation, multiple regression analysis dan wisestep analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) secara individual terdapat tiga variabel yang menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap penjualan, yaitu: produk, distribusi/ tempat, dan promosi, (2) produk, harga, tempat dan promosi secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap penjualan, (3) berdasarkan wisestep analysis, terdapat tiga variabel (produk, harga, dan promosi) yang memiliki hubungan yang kuat terhadap penjualan. Keywords: Marketing mix, product, price, place, promotion, sales, souvenirs, art shops

Abstract

Which is the purpose of this study was to analyze, (1) attributes the quality of service is a priority for airline passengers LCC strategy, (2) dimensions of service quality is a priority for airline passengers LCC strategy, (3) LCC airline is a priority every dimension of quality of service, (4) LCC airline apply the best quality service. The research was conducted in the city of Padang, and the population in this study were passengers who had used three airlines that implement strategies LCC (Lion Air, Air Asia and Citilink). Samples were taken using Cochran formula, with a total sample of 150 people. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. Indicators of Quality of Service based on the five dimensions of service quality that physical evidence (tangibles), reliability, assurance, responsiveness, empathy. Processing and data analysis techniques used in this study is the method of Analytic Hierarchy Process. The results of this study show that, (1) attribute is a priority in the tangible dimension is the comfort and cleanliness of the seat, the reliability dimension is the safety of passengers, the assurance dimension is the passengers feel safe during use aviation service, the dimensions of responsiveness are employees providing services fast and comfortable, and the last on dimensions of empathy is the employees ready to respond to the demand of passengers. (2) the dimensions of which are priorities for passengers is reliability. (3) assessment of service quality dimensions on airlines' strategy LCC, CITILINK put in prime position on all dimensions of quality service. (4) airlines that implement the best quality service Citilink, the second priority is, then that becomes the last priority is Lion Air. Keywords : Service Quality, Airline LCC Strategy, Analytic Hierarchy Process.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of role ambiguity, and work family conflict against employee work stress PT. Insurance Mega Pratama Padang Branch. In this study used as many as 52 employees of PT. Insurance Mega Pratama Padang Branch. Sampling was done using census method. The research variables used include independent variables that are role ambiguity and work family conflict while the dependent variable is job stress. The results of hypothesis testing showed that: 1) the ambiguity of the role have a positive and significant effect on employee work stress PT. Insurance Mega Pratama Padang Branch. 2) work family conflict does not have a significant effect on employee work stress PT. Insurance Mega Pratama Padang Branch.
