Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kinerja Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling MAN 1 Kota Semarang dari merencanakan, melaksanakan, mengevaluasi dan hambatan (harapan dan upaya). Jenis metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Perencanaan, Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling MAN 1 Kota Semarang menyusun perencanaan program pada awal tahun ajaran baru meskipun struktur kurikulum di MAN 1 Kota Semarang Bimbingan dan Konseling tidak masuk kelas; (2) Pelaksanaan, hampir semua program yang direncanakan dilaksanakan, ada beberapa yang belum dapat berjalan dengan lancar karena tidak adanya jam masuk kelas, seperti memberikan layanan informasi secara klasikal kepada siswa. Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling melaksanakan kegiatan insidental karena lebih mengutamanakan keadaan yang di lapangan untuk membantu menangani siswa; (3) Evaluasi, ada beberapa program yang belum terlaksana karena tidak adanya jam masuk kelas. Tanggapan beberapa siswa terhadap Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling baik, perhatian, memotivasi, dan mendidik dan ada beberapa pandangan siswa yang masih belum berani menemui Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling. Ruangan Bimbingan dan Konseling nyaman dan menuju ideal. (4) Hambatan, harapannya semua hambatan dapat terselesaikan dengan baik.   The purpose of this research was to describe and analyze the school counselors’ performance of MAN I Kota Semarang from planning, implementation, evaluation and obstacles (wishes and efforts). Qualitative method with case study desing was applied in present study. The results showed that (1) Planning, school counselor of MAN 1 Kota Semarang develop the school counselor program on early education year although school counseling of MAN 1 Kota Semarang did not have classical schedule. (2) Implementation, although most of the planned programs were implemented, there were some programs which was not be implemented because school counselor did not have any schedule for providing classical services, such as information service. School counselor focused on incidental activity for responding the students’ needs; (3) Evaluation, there were some programs that have not implemented yet because no time for the classical activity. Some students gave their evaluation to the school counselors that they are kind, attention, giving motivation, and Education, but some of the students were afraid to meet the school counselor. The office of school counseling was comfortable and relatively ideal. (4) Obstacles, it is hoped that all of the obstacles can be solved well.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menguji secara empiris kontribusi minat jurusan, kualitas layanan informasi karir, dan pemahaman karir terhadap kemampuan mengambil keputusan karir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekspos fakto. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 120 siswa SMK dipilih dengan teknik proporsionale random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik Skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kontribusi positif dari minat jurusan, kualitas layanan informasi karir, dan pemahaman karir terhadap kemampuan mengambil keputusan karir secara simultan sebesar 67,70% (F= 80.907; p<0.05). Kontribusi secara parsial untuk minat jurusan sebesar 38,70% (t= 4.523; p<0.05), kualitas layanan informasi karir sebesar 18,90% (t= 2.067; p<0.05), serta pemahaman karir sebesar 64,50% (t= 9.098; p<0.05). Besaran kontribusi secara simultan yaitu relatif sedang, sedangkan secara parsial dari setiap variabel yaitu minat jurusan relatif kecil, kualitas layanan informasi karir relatif sangat kecil, dan pemahaman karir relatif sedang..   The purpose of this study was to test the contribution of subject interest, quality of career information services, and career understanding towards career decision-making capability. The ex-post facto method was implemented in the present study. Subjects were 120 students who were selected using proportional random sampling. Data collection technique were Likert scale. Multiple regression analysis was applied to analysed the data. The result showed that the positive contribution of subject interest, the quality of career information service, and career understanding simultaneously on the career decision-making capability were 67.70% (F = 80 907; p < 0.05). The contribution of subject interest was 38.70% (t = 4,523; p < 0.05), quality of career information service was18.90% (t = 2,067; p < 0.05), and career understanding was 64.50% (t = 9,098, p < 0.05). The contribution level of all predictors on the career decision-making skills were relatively moderate. The level of contribution of subject interest was relatively small, the quality of career information service was very small, and career understanding was moderate.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok di MTs Kota Banjarmasin, (2) mengetahui perilaku etik siswa dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang tua di MTs Banjar Selatan 1 Kota Banjarmasin, (3) menghasilkan model layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis islam untuk meningkatkan perilaku etik siswa dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang tua pada siswa di MTs Banjar Selatan 1 Kota Banjarmasin, (4) mengetahui keefektivan model layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis islam yang efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku etik siswa dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang tua  pada siswa MTs Banjar Selatan 1 Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D), dengan langkah-langkah sebagi berikut: (1) studi pendahuluan. (2) pengembangan model hipotetik. (3) validasi ahli. (4) revisi model. (5) uji coba produk. (6) model akhir. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah dihasilkannya sebuah model layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis islam untuk meningkatkan perilaku etik berkomunikasi terhadap orang tua yang terdiri dari (1) rasional, (2) pengertian, (3) visi dan misi, (4) prinsip, (5) tujuan, (6) isi, (7) dukungan system, (8) tahapan, (9) evaluasi dan tindak lanjut, (10) materi layanan, (11) panduan pelaksanaan. Hasil uji keefektifan model dengan uji-t independent berbantuan SPSS 16 diperoleh data T hitung (10,603) > T tabel (2,145) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis islam efektif untuk meningkatkan etika berkomunikasi siswa terhadap orang tua. Simpulan: (1)  perilaku etik berkomunikasi siswa terhadap orang tua sebelum diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis islam adalah berada pada kategori rendah, (2) perilaku etik berkomunikasi siswa terhadap orang tua setelah diberikan layanan adalah berada pada kategori tinggi, (3) telah ditemukan desain model layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis islam untuk meningkatkan perilaku etik berkomunikasi siswa terhadap orang tua, (4) model ini efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku etik berkomunikasi siswa terhadap orang tua.   The purpose of this study: (1) investigate the implementation of group counseling in MTs of Banjarmasin city, (2) determine ethical behavior of students in communicating with parents in MTs Banjar Selatan 1 Banjarmasin, (3) in a model of counseling services Islamic-based group to improve ethical behavior students in communicating with parents on students at MTs Banjar Selatan 1 Banjarmasin, (4) determine the effectiveness of the model Islamic -based group counseling services are effective to improve ethical behavior of students in communicating with parents on student MTs Banjar Selatan 1 Banjarmasin. This study uses research and development (R & D), with the steps as follows: (1) a preliminary study, (2) development of hypothetical model, (3) expert validation, (4) model revision, (5) product trials, (6) final model. Field test results, communicate ethical behavior of students to parents increased after following Islamic-based groups guidance services, proved to be effective for improving communicate ethical behavior with parents. Shown by the change of student’s ethical behavior communication to parents before treatment is being given and after treatment given. The results of testing the effectiveness of the model with independent t-test data obtained aided by SPSS 16, T count (10,603)> T table (2.145), then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Therefore it can be concluded that the Islamic -based group guidance service is effective for improving ethics communicate students with their parents. Conclusions and Recommendations: (1) ethical behavior to communicate students with their parents before being given Islamic-based group guidance is located in the low category, (2) ethical behavior communicate with students to their parents after being given the service is at the high category, (3) has been found the model design Islamic-based group counseling services to improve the ethical behavior of students communicating to their parents, (4) the model is effective for improving the ethical behavior of students communicating to their parent.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah banyak ditemukan kasus membolos yang terjadi di kalangan pelajar di Indonesia khususnya di SMK Palembang. Sedangkan intervensi yang diberikan untuk mengurangi perilaku membolos belum maksimal. Apabila perilaku membolos tidak ditangani secara cepat dan tepat maka jumlah siswa yang membolos akan terus meningkat dan akan memberikan dampak yang negatif terhadap peserta didik sendiri, sekolah maupun negaranya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik self instruction dan teknik cognitive restructuring untuk mengurangi perilaku membolos siswa smk. Penelitian ini menggunakan non-equivalent group pretest-postest control group design. Metode pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah skala perilaku membolos dan pedoman observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji paired-sampled t-test dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan harga ρ<α dengan nilai 0,014<0,05 pada kelompok dengan teknik self instruction dan nilai 0,003<0,05 pada kelompok teknik cognitive restructuring. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor perilaku membolos antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan konseling kelompok dengan teknik self instruction maupun teknik cognitive restructuring. Maka konseling kelompok dengan teknik self instruction dan teknik cognitive restructuring efektif untuk mengurangi perilaku membolos siswa SMK.   The background of this research is widely found truant cases that occur among students in Indonesia, especially in vocational Palembang. While the intervention provided to reduce the truant behavior has not been maximized. If the truant behavior is not treated quickly and appropriately, the number of students who have missed classes will continue to rise and will have a negative impact on learners themselves, school and country. The purpose of this research is to test the effectiveness of group counseling services with self-instruction techniques and cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce smk student truant behavior. This research uses non-equivalent group pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection methods used were truant behavior scales and guidelines for observation. Data analysis technique used is by using test paired sampled t-test with significance level of 5%. The results showed prices ρ<α with a value of 0.014<0.05 in the group with the technique of self-instruction and the value 0.003<0.05 in group cognitive restructuring techniques. This shows that there are significant differences in scores between the truant behavior before and after implementation of self-instruction techniques and cognitive restructuring techniques. Thus, group counseling with self-instruction techniques and cognitive restructuring techniques to effectively reduce vocational students truant behavior.

Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya sebanyak 34% berdasarkan hasil PRCA-24 siswa SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto terindikasi memiliki communication apprehension tinggi. Ciri-ciri perilaku yang ditemukan adalah  Shyness / SHY, Willingness to Communicate / WTC, Compulsive Communication / CC, dan Self-Perceived Communication Competence / SPCC. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan konseling kelompok behavioral teknik systematic desensitization berbantuan musik klasik jawa untuk mereduksi communication apprehension siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksprerimental design dengan pre-test dan post-test control group design. Metode pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah skala communication apprehension dan observasi sebagai pendukung untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan konseling kelompok. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 siswa yang memiliki skor communication apprehension tinggi yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 8 siswa dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 7 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik non parametrik dengan menggunakan uji u mann whitney dengan taraf signifikan 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan harga ρ < α dengan nilai 0,032 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada skor communication apprehension antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan konseling kelompok behavioral teknik systematic desensitization berbantuan musik klasik jawa. Jadi, hipotesis penelitian ini yang berbunyi “konseling kelompok behavioral teknik systematic desensitization berbantuan musik klasik jawa efektif untuk mereduksi communication apprehension siswa SMA”, dapat diterima. Sehingga, diharapkan penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam melakukan penelitian lanjutan yang berhubungan dengan communication apprehension.   The background of this research based on  data discovery that 34% of the PRCA result that students of SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto was indicate have high communication apprehension. The characteristics are Shyness / SHY, Willingness to Communicate / WTC, Compulsive Communication / CC, and Self-Perceived Communication Competence / SPCC. The aim of this study are to know the effectiveness of behavioral group counseling systematic desensitization thechnique that is assisted javanese classical music to reduce communication apprehension of senior high school student. This study using quasi eksprerimental design with pre-test and post-test control group design. The data collection methods is communication apprehension scale and observation form as additional instrument to know the implementation of behavioral counseling group by using systematic desensitization technique assisted by classical javanese music. The subject in this study are 15 students who have high score of communication apprehension that is divided into experiment group consist of 8 students and controlling group consist of 7 students. The data analysis technique that is used statistic non parametric using test u mann whitney with significant 5%. The result of the study show that ρ < α with value 0,032 < 0,05. It is showed that there are different of significant score of communication apprehension between pre test and post test from the application of behavioral counseling group of systematic desensitization thechnique assisted by javanese classical music. So, the hypothesis of this research is “behavioral counseling group of systematic desensitization thechnique assisted by javanese classical music to reduce communication apprehension of senior high school student” is accepted.

Abstract

The study of the development of discipline character took place in Taruna Nusantara Senior High School (SMA Taruna Nusantara). It was aimed at knowing what, how and why the discipline character development was conducted in SMA Taruna Nusantara. Moreover, the method used was qualitative by utilizing interview, observation and document analysis as the research instruments. Once the data collected by the instruments and furtherly analyzed, it was found that the character development conducted in SMA Taruna Nusantara covered tiered stages. The first stage was instillation. In this stage, the values of courtesy were instilled in students to become their habit. The values were realized in the way the students formed a line and gave respect to elder by raising hand. The second stage was growth stage. It was realized in any guidance given to students during their activities. The third stage was development stage. In this stage, students were given tasks such as tasks given to students' council (OSIS), class representatives, school cooperative, the committees of national days commemoration. The last stage was consolidation. This stage dealt with the responsibility of students to do any activities which were directly associated with society life. Lastly, such behavior habituation processes in social engineering are done continuously and consistently by all citizens of SMA Taruna Nusantara.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of self-instruction and reframing group counselling techniques to improve students' self-confidence. Those techniques were done twice in each group counselling service. To cover up the implementation of the techniques, this study used randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design involving 14 students having low self-confidence chosen from 99 students by using purposive sampling technique. Once the data collection and data analysis were done, this study found that both self-instruction and reframing group counselling techniques have the same effectiveness in improving the self-confidence of the tenth grade students of Online Business and Marketing Department of State Vocational High School (SMK Negeri) 4 Jember. At last, the discussion of this paper is focused on examining the possibilities of the implementation of self-instruction and reframing group counselling techniques in SMK Negeri 4 Jember

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of reality therapy group counseling to improve the self-esteem of State Islamic High School (MAN) Semarang City students. To purse such objective, this study used experimental method with Non-equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Meanwhile, there were sixteen students involved as the subjects of the study with the focus on their self-esteem (8 students joined experimental group and 8 other joined control group). Once their data were collected and analyzed by using independent sample t-test, it showed that reality therapy group counseling was effective to improve students' self-esteem (t(14) = 8,01, p < 0,01). For more, the discussion of the results of this study was directed to identify the implications of the application of reality therapy group counseling in improving students' self-esteem.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan konseling kelompok dengan teknik role playing bermuatan nilai-nilai empati dapat membentuk sikap negatif siswa terhadap perilaku bullying di SMP Negeri 41 Semarang. Metode penelitian ini adalah one group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 8 siswa kelas VIII B yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kondisi perilaku bullying siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 41 Semarang berada pada tingkat tinggi; dan (2) terdapat penurunan perilaku bullying setelah mendapatkan konseling kelompok. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa konseling kelompok dengan teknik role playing bermuatan nilai-nilai empati dapat diaplikasikan untuk membentuk sikap negative siswa terhadap perilaku bullying.The study aimed to know the effectiveness of group counseling with role playing technique with empathy values ​​can form the students' negative attitude toward bullying behavior in SMP Negeri 41 Semarang. This research method of one group pretest posttest design. The subjects of this study were 8 students of grade VIII B selected by using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that: (1) condition of bullying behavior of students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 41 Semarang is at a high level; and (2) there is a decrease in bullying behavior after obtaining group counseling. This study confirmed that group counseling with role playing techniques with empathetic values ​​can be applied to form students' negative attitudes toward bullying behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) Menganalisis pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar SMP Negeri Kota Jambi. (2) Menganalisis tingkat kemanfaatan ilmu yang dimiliki siswa SMP Negeri Kota Jambi. (3) Menghasilkan model bimbingan belajar berbasis prinsip-prinsip belajar dalam Islam untuk meningkatkan kemanfaatan ilmu siswa SMP Negeri Kota Jambi.  (4) Menganalisis kefektifan model bimbingan belajar berbasis prinsip-prinsip belajar dalam Islam dalam meningkatkan kemanfaatan ilmu yang diperoleh siswa SMP Negeri Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri Kota Jambi yang berjumlah 275 orang. Jumlah sampel 10 siswa dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) bimbingan belajar sudah dilaksanakan, namun belum menggunakan basis tertentu dalam pelaksanaannya, (2) hasil penyebaran skala kemanfaatan ilmu pada 275 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri Kota Jambi diketahui bahwa 42,18% kategori sedang, (3) dihasilkan model bimbingan bimbingan belajar berbasis prinsip-prinsip belajar dalam Islam untuk meningkatkan kemanfaatan ilmu siswa, (4) kemanfaatan ilmu pada siswa mengalami peningkatan. Tingkat kemanfaatan ilmu pada siswa sebelum bimbingan belajar adalah 116,7% dan setelah bimbingan belajar meningkat menjadi 151,7%. Terjadi peningkatan sebesar 35%. Peningkatan tersebut terjadi pada semua aspek kemanfaatan ilmu. Ini berarti model bimbingan belajar berbasis prinsip-prinsip belajar dalam Islam efektif untuk meningkatkan kemanfaatan ilmu pada siswa.The purpose of this study was to: (1) analyze the implementation of the learning guidance, (2) analyze the level of expediency owned science students SMP Negeri Jambi Twon, (3) produce a model learning guidance based on principles learned in islamic to improve the expediency of science on students, (4) analyze the effectiveness of a model learning guidance based on principles learned in islamic to improve the expediency of science on students SMP Negeri Jambi Twon. This type of research is used in research & development (R & D). The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri Jambi Twon totaling 275 people. Total sample of 10 students selected by purposive sampling.  The results showed that: (1) learning guidance has been implemented, but has not been used in the implementation of a certain base, (2) the results of large-scale deployment of expediency sciences at 275 eighth grade students of SMP Negeri Jambi Twon is known that the category was 42.18%,  (3) generated model of guidance learning guidance based learning principle in Islam to enhance the expediency science students,  4) expediency science in students has increased. The level of expediency science in students before learning guidance is 116.7% and after the guidance of the group increased to 151.7%. An increase of 35%. This increase occurred in all aspects of science expediency. This means that the model-based learning guidance learning principle in Islam effectively to improve the expediency science in students
