Abstract

The background of the problem is the low serang - hindar ability of the fighter, the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of plyometrics training, namely single leg bounding and double leg speed hops, analyze the effect of high and low reaction time, analyze the effect of plyometrics training with reaction time and analyze the interaction between plyometrics training and reaction time on the attack-avoidance ability of the fighter. This study uses an experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design, the data analysis technique uses Analysis of Variance (Anova) at a significant level of (0.005). The population in this study were 24 fighters. The sampling technique used total sampling with a sample of 24 fighters. The results of this study:1. To analyze between single leg bounding and double leg speed hop exercises with a significant value of sig (0.000) < (0.005) and a value of Fcount 18.730 > Ftable 0.250. 2. To analyze between high and low reaction times on the ability to attack - hinder the fighter with an average value of sig (0.000) < (0.005) and a value of Fcount 12.992 > Ftable 0.250. 3. To analyze the single leg bounding exercise with high and low reaction times on the attack-avoidance abilities of the fighter with an average pre-test score of 55.83 > 49.58 and post-test 73.42 > 64.00. 4. To analyze the double leg speed hop exercise with high and low reaction times on the serang - hindar ability of the fighter with an average pre-test value of 47.08 > 37.08 and post test 78.33 > 67.92. 5. To analyze the interaction between plyometrics training and reaction time on the serang - hindar ability of the fighter with a value of sig (0.915) > (0.005) and an Fcount of 0.552 > Ftable 0.250. Based on this research, plyometric exercises, namely single leg bounding and double leg speed hop exercises can improve serang - hindar abilities, high reaction times are better than fighters with low reaction times.

Abstract

Pencak silat is a new material in the Physical Education subject in Elementary Schools. The existence of pencak silat material in the upper grades of elementary school as a new material makes the need for pencak silat teaching materials become important. There is no material whose contents include pencak silat material that must be mastered by students in accordance with basic competencies at the elementary school level for the upper class. This study aims to develop a product of pencak silat teaching materials that can be implemented in the subjects of physical education in the upper grades of the elementary school. The research method used is Research & Development. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. The research subjects in this study are teaching materials experts, pencak silat experts, physical education teachers, and students. The result of the research is a product of developing pencak silat teaching materials for the upper class in elementary schools. The results of the expert evaluation on the initial product draft were 81.8% in the "good" category. The results of the product feasibility analysis in the first product trial were 85.9% in the "good" category. The product trial II as well as the feasibility test received an 86.8% rating in the "good" category. The conclusion is that the product development of pencak silat teaching materials is feasible to be used in the implementation of physical education subjects, sports and health in pencak silat materials for students in grades 4.5, and 6 at the elementary school.

The purpose of this study was to compile materials for a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet on Nearpod. This study also examines the effectiveness of using Nearpod and examines the relationship between knowledge and diet. The research approaches used are the method of development, experimentation and correlation. The instruments used are material validator questionnaires, media, physical education teachers and students, interviews, observations, knowledge tests and documentation. The population and sample in this study were 7th grade of Junior High School students in Baki, Sukoharjo Regency which is divided into a small-scale trial of 30 students, 15 students in the control class and 15 students in the experimental class. While, in a large-scale trial of 90 students, 45 students in the control class and 45 students in the experimental class. Quantitative data analysis using SPSS 16 which includes validity, homogeneity, reliability, effectiveness and correlation tests. The assessment results of the preparation in the material for a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet obtained material validation for 96% of the "Excellent" category, media validation 99% “Excellent” category, physical education teacher validation 93% “Excellent” category, small-scale trials 86% in the "Excellent" category, large-scale trials 84% in the "Excellent" category, validity test > 0.254 valid category, reliability test 0.885 > 0.05 highly reliable, normality test 0.135 > 0.05 normally distributed, homogeneity test 0.071 > 0.05 homogeneous distribution, there was an effect in the effectiveness test sig(2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05. Spearman rank correlation test sig(2-tailed) 0.952 > 0.05 indicates that there was no relationship between students' knowledge and diet patterns.
