Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) analyze the relationship industry field experiencewith the job readiness of graduates, (2) analyze the relationship between workmotivation and job readiness of graduates, (3) analyze the relationship betweenindustry field experience and motivation to work with the job readiness of graduates.This research is a quantitative research using correlation approach. The datacollection technique using a questionnaire prepared by the "Likert Scale". Analysis ofthe data used is descriptive and correlational analysis. The results showed (1) Field Experience Industry has a positive and significant relationship with the ReadinessWork Graduate Studies Program of Family Welfare as indicated by the calculatedvalue coefficient of correlation of 0.562, (2) Work motivation has a positive andsignificant relationship with the Readiness Work Graduate Education ProgramFamily welfare as indicated by the calculated value correlation coefficient of 0.482(3) Field experience and Motivation Industry Working together has a positive andsignificant relationship with the Work Readiness Program Graduate EducationStudies of Family welfare as indicated by the double correlation coefficientscalculated value obtained 0.617.Keywords : Field Experience Industry, Work Motivation, Job Readiness

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of student motivation in following subjects basic hair cuts, which include indicators of (a) the passion and desire to excel in learning, (b) the need to learn, (c) the hopes and aspirations of the future in basic hair cuts. This research is descriptive quantitative. Population and samples in this study were all students of class X and XI competency skills hairstyling SMK N 3 Payakumbuh totaling 38 people. Data were obtained using a questionnaire as the instrument that has been on test validity and reliability. The results are presented in the form of frequency distribution and percentage rates. The results obtained by achieving an average score of respondents terhap indicators passion and desire in learning achievement in the category of less Once with (68.42%). Indicators of the level of achievement in the Learning Needs Basic Hair Trimming should be in the category of less (47.36%). While indicators of expectations and aspirations of future levels of achievement in the category of Medium respondents (36.84%). In keseluruah motivation to study the basic hair cuts are at once less category (36.84%).

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the perception of tourists about tourist destinations Wildlife Park and Kinantan’s Culture in Bukittinggi terms of indicators attractions, accessibility, amenitas, human resources, image and price. The population is tourists visiting tourist destinations Wildlife Park and Kinantan’s Culture in Bukittinggi numbered 53.853 peoples. Sampling technique using incidental sampling, are 100 peoples. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results showed that Perception of tourists about tourist destinations Wildlife Park and Kinantan’s Culture in Bukittinggi in the category quite well (87%). While based on the indicators: 1) Tourist attractions in the category quite well (65%), 2) accessibility in the category quite well (44%), 3) Amenitas in the category quite well (60%), 4) human resources in the category quite well (49%), 5) image in the category quite well (50%), 6) Prices in the category quite well (67%). Abstract

This event will be based on research in an effort to revive the image of theuse of the substance is natural color. The addition of mordan on its substance isnatural color will affect the color of the immersion. This study aims to describethe name of the color (hue), dark bright colors (value), color, and differences inflatness mordan Pomelo (Citrus Maxima Merr) and Lemon (Citrus Limon)against the results of dyeing Silk material using extracts of flower petals Plantain(Musa Sapientum). This type of research is a research experiment. The data used2are sourced from 18 person panelists, then analyzed using Friedman's test k-Related samples or ANOVA of one line. Immersion results without mordanproduce color Clam Shell Pink #C5A89B, with value categories very bright andkerataaan colors on the category very flat. mordan Pomelo produce color DarkSalmon Pink #B59890 with value are bright enough and kerataaan colors are flat,whereas with mordan Lemon is Warm Brown #AE8C8B with value are brightenough and kerataaan colors are blended. The results of the data analysis of darklight color (value) is 0.002 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected, meaning that there is adifference significant color light dark. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality to the Front Office employee satisfaction Hotel guests staying at Axana Padang . This type of research is associative causal . The population in this study is the average number of guests staying ie 1,711 people per month . The number of samples in this study are numbered 95 people were taken using the formula Riduwan . The sampling technique is non-probability sampling , ( incidental sampling ) . Collecting data using a questionnaire based on Likert Scale which has proven its validity and reliability . Results of linear regression analysis sedarhana obtained F count with sig . 0.005 < 0.05 , then the variable can explain the variable service quality customer satisfaction significantly , with R Square of 0.083 . This means that service quality affects customer satisfaction by 8.3 % and 91.7 % influenced by other factorsKeyword: Quality, Service , Employee , Satisfaction , and Guests.V

Abstract

Padang Panjang has Kerancang embroidery very beautiful and charming. This study aimed to describe Kerancang embroidery designs, embroidery Kerancang forms, tools and materials used in the manufacture of embroidery Kerancang and manufacturing technique of embroidery Kerancang in Padang Panjang. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected using interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity of the data with the extension of 3observation, improved observations and triangulation. The study states that the embroidery Kerancang in Padang Panjang has a decorative shape naturalist, geometric shapes, and decorative shapes. Kerancang form of embroidery used were 16 shapes. Tools and materials used in making embroidery Kerancang pencils, paper rolls, erasers, carbon, fabric, sewing machine manual that has been tuned to make embroidery Kerancang, needle machine brand singer number 11 and number 9, sikoci, ram, embroidery scissors and yarn branded embroidery double penguin. The technique of making embroidery Kerancang a sewing machine sewn manual or dikerancang directly. Abstract

This research is quantitative descriptive, which aims to describe the attitude of Creative Class X Subject Decorate Dress In dressmaking courses in Vocational School District 6, which includes the Padang curious, confident and independent, risk-taking, persevering and not easily bored. The population in this study were all students of class X subjects dressmaking SMK N 6 Padang, consisting of three classes totaling 88 people. This study uses total sampling technique that is the entire population sampled. The data collected in this study is primary data by means of questionnaires, the questionnaire contains questions relating to the creative attitude of students on subjects Decorate Dress linkert using scale models. Of the results showed that the attitude of the creative class X dressmaking courses on subjects Decorate Dress in SMK N 6 Padang is in the category of moderate (59.9%), with the indicators: 1. Curiosity is at the high category (63.4%), 2. Self-confidence and are in the category of moderate (57.4%), 3. Dare to take risks that are in the category of medium (57.0), 4. Abstract

The purpose of research is to analyze the relationship between jobsatisfaction with staff front office performance in Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. Thisstudy is a descriptive correlational study. The population numbered 30 people ofstaff front office department, Informant selection techniques in the study usingsaturated sampling technique for 30 people of staff front office department, datacollection techniques with a structured questionnaire based on Likert scale thathas been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the survey results revealedthe percentage of incoming job satisfaction overall categorized good (90%), stafffront office performance in Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang overall as enough(40%).The results showed that there between job satisfaction with staff frontoffice performance in Hotel Rocky Plaza Padang is didn’t have a Positive andsignificant relationship, it means if the job satisfaction good, the performance ofstaff front office would be good also.Keywords: Leadership and Performance1

Abstract

This research originated from the students who are not concerned with thecleanliness of catering laborers of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality StateUniversity of Padang. The purpose of this study is to describe how the intrinsicmotivation and extrinsic motivation of students in maintaining the cleanliness ofthe catering laboratory of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality State Universityof Padang. The research type is descriptive quantitative. The population of thisresearch are students who are and have been using labor catering Faculty ofTourism and Hospitality State University of Padang, as much as 558 people. Thesampling in this study is proposional random sampling as many as 85 people. Thedata collection are done by questionnaires using the scale of likert and has beentested the validity and reliability. This research result indicates that overall thestudents motivation in maintaining the cleanliness of the catering laboratory ofthe Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality State University of Padang 57.6% of therespondents declared as good, 30.6% of the respondents declared as enough and11,8% declared as very good.Keywords: Intrinsic Motivation, Extrinsic Motivation

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the employee interpersonal communication with employees purchasing food and beverage division which in terms of openness, confidence, verbal and nonverbal communication, empathy, positivity, and conflicts in interpersonal relationships. This type of research is descriptive qualitative data. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. From the results of this study concluded that the openness indicator is only a fraction of employees are open in communicating about the interpersonal realize yourself, accept yourself, the desire to respond honestly and desire to convey information. In the case of most of the employees have confidence build confidence and mutual trust. Verbal and nonverbal communication only some employees are to communicate effectively and listen while understanding. Most employees have empathy in terms of feel the problems of others. Most give positive attention and gives a feeling of positive and most participated in solving the problem if there is a conflict.
