<![CDATA[The study is titled "Authority of the Provincial Government of Bali in regulate a Travel Agency Business”, and is a normative legal research moved from the norm conflicts that occur between Bali Provincial Regulation No. 1 of 2010 on Travel Service Business with the Regulation of the Minister of Culture and Tourism number: PM.85/HK.501/MKP/2010 on Procedures for Travel Services Business Registration which then raises two issues, namely: Is Bali provincial government is authorized to regulate the business of a travel bureau and whether the source of the authority of the Provincial Government of Bali in regulating business bureau Travel?. In this study, the approach are statute approah and legal concept analysis approach, then the problem is analyzed with the technique later in systematizing description for further evaluated and given argumentation.From the research and discussion that is done it can be known that the provincial government of Bali has the authority to regulate the business of Travel Agents Tourism as provided for in Article 29 letters c Act Number 10 Year 2009 concerning tourism in conjunction with Article 14 paragraph (1) letters d and an explanation as its lex and Article 13 paragraph (2) of Act No. 32 Year 2004 on Regional Government as its lex generalis. Where the authority of the provincial government of Bali is attributive authority, ie the authority that comes from the act so that no new authority owned by the provincial government of Bali to arrange business travel bureau.]]>

<![CDATA[Two or more languages are used interchangeably by the same author, it can be said that the language proficiency level in a state of mutual contact. In every language there is a process of mutual contacts between the influence of one language and another language. As a result, there will be interference both oral and written. Interference is an error that is caused by the tendency of getting used pronunciation (utterances) of a language to another language pronunciation unit includes sounds, grammar, and vocabulary. Interference of foreign language in a scientific paper published in the journal Logic State Polytechnic Bali is still quite dominant. This interference occurs because of a lack of mastery of the Indonesian by the writers. In addition, the authors use the term foreign customs so foreign terms with the Indonesia term is regarded as the same thing.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper exposes in brief universally adoptable stance of Buddhist Psychology vs. western psychology and how Buddhist psychology is capable of interacting with modern psychology contributing to both theory and practice. Psychology was introduced to the western world several centuries after the advent of Buddhism. The primary resolution of Buddhist doctrine is to expose through the universal causes of suffering (dukkha) in the continuous existence of individual and the society disclosing the true nature of the phenomenal existence, individual and mind in order to get rid of the human predicament. Comprehensive and profound psychological expositions that deal with the root causes of mental disorders and problematic behaviors are adopted in ‘Buddhist Psychology and Psychotherapy’ and the Abhidhamma entails highly systematized psychological elaborations of mind. Although several psychoanalytical observations based on superficial causes experimented by defiled minded scientists have been introduced in western psychology in analysis, ‘Buddhist psychology’ revealed by the Impassionate One is based on the universal central teachings such as the three universal root causes, the three universal characteristics, the theories of Four Noble Truths, Dependent co-arising etc. Hence, the objective of this paper is to provide a brief elucidation of how psychology reflected in Buddhism overlooks western psychology.]]>

<![CDATA[Karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk membahas upaya pihak manajemen hotel melati di Kabupaten Badung dalam mengoptimalkan tingkat okupansi hotelnya. Tulisan ini merupakan bentuk kajian ilmu pariwisata yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, studi dokumen dan wawancara mendalam dengan 15 pemerhati dan pengelola hotel melati di Kabupaten Badung. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif–kualitatif dalam perspektif kajian pariwisata. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa okupansi hotel melati di Kabupaten Badung dalam tahun 2014 dan 2015 lebih rendah (sekitar 40%) dari pada hotel berbitang (sekitar 60%). Dalam upaya mengoptimalkan okupansi hotelnya, pihak manajemen hotel melati di Kabupaten Badung malakukan merestrukturisasi organisasi, meningkatkan kapasitas (skill) sumber daya manusianya, meningkatan kualitas pelayanannya, serta mengembangkan jaringan pemasaran dengan online booking. Dalam mengoptimalkan okupasni hotel melati, upaya peningkatan kapasitas SDM dan pemasaran dengan online booking perlu terus dikembangkan.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is based on the problems faced by almost all taxpayers (WP) of Government Employees (PNS) in Indonesia (especially in Bandar Lampung City), namely the difficulty of obtaining evidence of Article 21 income tax deductions on irregular earnings such as honorarium activities, performance allowances, should be made by the Treasurer whenever the WP earns the income. The treasurer only provides proof of income cuts on salary and routine allowances at the end of the year in the form of 1721A2 form. This problem is caused by the operator who input salary and income other than salary vary. To solve the problem, this research was made, with the aim of making the application of Article 21 Income Tax for Web-based PNS. By using waterfall method, this research resulted in a Web 21 Income Tax article program where all income earning operators either regular or irregular earnings can input to one program at the same time so that the end result is WP can access all evidence of Article 21 Income Tax either Final or the Non Final whenever and wherever the WP was located without having to come to the Treasurer. WP simply menggakses use the internet. With the development of this Web-based Article 21 PPh program can assist WP in reporting all of its income on its Annual Income Tax Return. and assist the government in reducing non-compliance with WP.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis metafora apa saja yang bisa ditemukan pada subtitle text Twilight, teknik apa saja yang digunakan oleh seorang penerjemah dalam menerjemahkan subtitle text dari Bahasa Inggris ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia, dan bagaimana kualitas terjemahan yang ada dalam hal keakuratan, keberterimaan dan juga keterpahamannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis subtitle text Film ‘Twilight’ secara deskriftif kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga jenis metafora yang ditemukan dalam subtitle text pada film Twilight yaitu: Metafora Ontologi, Metafora Struktural, dan Metafora Orientasional. Dari tujuh teknik penerjemahan menurut Peter Newmark (1998), hanya dua teknik yang terdapat pada subtitle text ini yaitu penerjemahan metafora dengan metafora dan konversi metafora menjadi makna. Berdasarkan kualitas penerjemahan, semua data telah diterjemahkan dengan akurat, dapat diterima dengan baik dan juga dapat dipahami dengan baik dalam bahasa sasaran (Bahasa Indonesia) serta tidak menimbulkan salah tafsir.]]>

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Nusa Lembongan, Kecamatan Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung Provinsi Bali, dengan tujuan untuk menentukan nilai total ekonomi yaitu nilai penggunaan langsung (use value) sebagai rekreasi dan nilai tanpa menggunakan (non use value) adanya estetika regional dan upaya pengelolaan ekosistem di Nusa Lembongan dan untuk merumuskan setrategi dalam kontrol lingkungan sehingga pembangunan pariwisata berkelanjutan dapat dicapai. Dalam penelitian ini tujuan wisata Nusa Lembongan memberikan manfaat dalam Economic Value Rp. 722.181.418,00 terdiri dari nilai penggunaan Rp. 680.864.999,00 dan nilai non-penggunaan Rp. 41.316.420,00. Ini menunjukkan dalam berbagai kondisi di Nusa Lembongan pelestarian layak dilakukan. <![CDATA[A verb is a language element used by the community in communication. There are various verbs formation applied in Muara Bungo especially Rantau Pandan dialect, like adding affixes to the verb and the processes occurred to the verb itself. In this study, the authors focused on verbs formation derived from nouns and adjectives. The process of affixation includes derivative and inflective affixes. For the data collection, the author applied listening and interview methods. The process of verb formation occurred on nouns and adjectives in speech or lingual data obtained were then analyzed and determined by applying translational analysis method. The verb formation process would be clearer when classes of the words found had been classified. The researcher found the verbs formation was from the process that occurred at the time of the formation of the verb. The affixation process in this study includes derivative and inflective affixes. The affixes are functioned for forming nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and numbers. The prefix ber- has form variations like ba- and be-. Prefix ma- has form variations like mang- and meny-. Prefix n- has form variations such as n- and ng- forms. The prefix te- has form variations such as ta-, tany-.]]>

Social media telah mengubah banyak aspek kehidupan manusia, salah satunya adalah aktivitas bisnis. Orang percaya bahwa social media dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan membawa keuntungan pada aktivitas bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat social media dalam bisnis dan sejauh mana penggunaan teknologi informasi pada Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di Kabupaten Badung. UKMdi Kabupaten Badung yang mendukung industri pariwisata Bali harus mempertimbangkan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan sebelum memutuskan untuk menggunakan teknologi tersebut. Dengan menggunakan kajian pustaka, penelitian ini akan mendiskusikan topik yang menjawab pertanyaan tersebut. Usaha Kecil dan Menengah sebagai bidang ekonomi yang penting harus menerapkan “media baru” dengan menggunakan social media untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan keuntungan mereka.
