Early ambulation is one of the main goals of inpatient rehabilitation aimed at reducing the negative effects of immobilization and achieving functional recovery. Many studies have proven the benefits of early ambulation in patients after lower limb surgery so early ambulation is highly recommended as a form of orthopedic treatment. Although research related to the influence of early ambulation in post-operative patients has been widely carried out, it is necessary to do further study of the research article on the benefits of early ambulation. The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of early ambulation in patients after lower limb surgery. This literature study was made by analyzing nine scientific articles published in 2010-2020 and English language. Data obtained from the database include Proquest, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) and Google Scholar with keywords early ambulation, early weightbearing, lower extremity, lower limb and post-surgery. Abstract

Knowledge of adolescents in Indonesia about reproductive health is still very low. For example menstruation as the puberty of women. Boys who know menstruation are around 37% (20-24 years) and 32% (15-19 years). While girls around 78% (20-24 years) and 75% (15-19 years). The research method used was a non-experimental study with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were junior high school students, who had menstruated as many as 46 children. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling where the researcher determines the sampling by determining the special characteristics of the randomly chosen sample selection that has been menstruating by the Guidance Counseling teacher that are class VII and VIII then analyzing the data using the Spearman Rank test. The results of the study using the Spearman rank test showed a significance of 0,000 (p = 0,000 <0.01) so that there is a relationship between reproductive health knowledge with attitudes toward premenstrual syndrome in adolescents at Prambanan junior High School.

Abstract

The elderly are very vulnerable to overcome musculoskeletal disorders such as joint pain and back pain. The estimated health status of the elderly can be changed in their Functional Status, which will affect Physical, psychological, and spiritual. This study discusses progressive muscle relaxation training in the Functional status of the elderly in the Binjai Elderly Integrated Services Unit. The research method was conducted by pre-experiment with the design of one group pretest-posttest. The number of samples consisted of categories from 60 years to 82 years, collected 33 people. The implementation method is done with progressive relaxation exercises for 30 minutes in a seated position with 15 hand and foot movements with 33 elderly people repeatedly. Data collection tools in this study use demographic data questionnaires and Barthel index. Data analysis using Pearson correlation coefficient, where the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.085> 0.05 which means there is no significant effect between progressive muscle relaxation exercises with the functional status of the elderly. The progressive muscle relaxation exercises only experience changes in vital signs so that it is very effective in a sitting or standing position.

This is quasi-experiment research which used a pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group. There were 24 samples involved as respondents, divided into two groups which consist of 12 students each. Bivariate tests for both the demonstration and the video methods were conducted using a paired t-test. A difference test between the demonstration and the video methods was conducted using an independent t-test. The average score for the demonstration method before the intervention was 39.5 and after the intervention was 90.2; the average score for the singing video method before the intervention was 47.5 and after the intervention was 89.9. Results of the difference test between pretest and posttest in the demonstration method group showed a p-value = 0.000, and the singing video method showed a p-value = 0.901.There was no score difference for handwashing wiwith soap skills. Abstract

Family is lasting a social group based on marriage and blood relations. The family plays an important role in the inheritance of the noble values of life for future generations. A healthy family will contribute to the development of a healthy society. This aims to find out the effect of the education system of family therapy on the prevention of violence in children. This research uses relevant Literature review which is reviewed following the search from 3 databases. They are ProQuest, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The search year is limited to the last 5 years from 2014-2019 to ensure the latest included research, using the keyword "therapy family AND Communication AND violent behavior AND child”. This review identifies 6 articles based on inclusion criteria. The article uses a Quasi-experimental design which is 1 article, 3 systematic reviews, and integrative review, 1 quantitative, 1 qualitative, randomized controlled trial. Of the 6 articles selected, 3 articles focus on violent behavior in children and adolescents and 3 articles focus on family communication towards children. Family therapy is the family to learn how to keep a healthy family relationship, communicate effectively with family members, and work cooperatively to solve family problems. This type of therapy is unique because the problem is seen through a wider lens and as part of a complex family system. Communication in the family becomes better when each family member can express what they don’t like and their desires to other family members and then find a solution together
