Abstract

This research focuses on the use of metaphors contained in the collection of poems by Rika. The aim is to describe the type, function and meaning of the metaphor in the collection of poems. The research method used is a descriptive analysis method with a structural approach. There are four types of metaphors found in the poetry of the Park Lights Man and Which Map You Are Going to in a collection of Rika's poetry entitled Sun in the Rain. (a) Anthropomorphic metaphors are found in both poetry, as many as three lines, (b) animal metaphors are also found in both poems, as many as four lines, (c) synestetic metaphors are only found in LLT poetry by one array, and (d) abstract to concrete metaphors found in both poems, as many as seven lines . Three metaphorical functions include, (a) overcoming the shortcomings and limitations of lexicons or expressions found only in one line of LLT poetry, (b) expressing speech found in both poems, as many as ten lines, and (c) avoiding the saturation found in both poems, as many as five lines. Whereas the meaning of metaphor is as much as two meanings, which include, (a) the meaning of living metaphor of nine arrays, and (b) the meaning of dead metaphor of five arrays. Abstrak Penelitian ini berfokus pada penggunaan metafora yang terdapat pada kumpulan puisi Karya Rika. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan jenis, fungsi dan makna metafora pada kumpulan puisi tersebut. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan struktural.Ada empat jenis metafora yang ditemukan dalam puisi Lelaki Lampu Taman dan Peta Mana yang Kau Tuju yang terdapat dalam kumpulan Puisi karya Rika yang berjudul Matahari dalam Hujan.(a) metafora antropomorfis ditemukan di kedua puisi, sebanyak tiga larik,(b) metafora binatang juga ditemukan di kedua puisi, sebanyak empat larik, (c) metafora sinestetik hanya ditemukan pada puisi LLT sebanyak satu larik,dan (d) metafora abstrak ke konkret ditemukan dikedua puisi, sebanyak tujuh larik. Tiga Fungsi metaforameliputi, (a) mengatasi kekurangan dan keterbatasan leksikon atau ungkapan hanya ditemukan pada puisi LLT sebanyak satu larik,(b) mengekspresikan tuturan ditemukan dikedua puisi, sebanyak sepuluh larik, dan (c) menghindari kejenuhan ditemukan dikedua puisi, sebanyak lima larik. Sedangkan makna metafora sebanyak dua makna, yakni meliputi, (a) makna metafora hidup sebanyak sembilan larik, dan (b) makna metafora mati sebanyak lima larik. Abstract

The erosion of moral values ​​in Indonesian society lately is very alarming, especially since this is happening among students or at school level. As we already know, the behavior of students today is increasingly becoming more and more, many of the students are immoral, even there are those who dare to fight their own teacher. Instilling moral values ​​can be inserted through language and literary learning, one of the ways that can be used is by reading short stories that contain a lot of moral values. This study aims to analyze the types and forms of moral values ​​that exist in a collection of short stories titled In Ujung Senja. This analysis uses a qualitative descriptive approach that is by reading as a whole and identifying it. Retrieval of data in this study by reading and recording sentence fragments or fragments of discourse included in the moral values ​​sought by researchers. That way the moral values ​​contained in the short story are easily identified. Based on the analysis of a collection of short stories in Ujung Senja, the requirements for moral values ​​are appropriate to apply, because in this short story collection contains many moral values, namely praying, being grateful, obedient, trusting, responsibility, generous, honest, hard working, apologizing, mutual respect, and please help and serve both parents. This value was identified from several events and characters in the short story. Abstrak Tergerusnya nilai moral pada masyarakat indonesia akhir-akhir ini sangat memprihatinkan, apalagi hal ini terjadi pada kalangan pelajar atau tingkatan sekolah. Seperti yang sudah kita ketahui, tingkah laku pelajar di masa sekarang semakin menjadi-jadi, banyak dari pelajar yang tidak bermoral, bahkan sampai ada yang berani melawan gurunya sndiri. Penanaman nilai moral dapat disisipkan melalui pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra, salah satu cara yang bisa digunakan adalah dengan membaca cerpen yang banyak mengandung nilai moral. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis dan wujud nilai moral yang ada pada kumpulan cerita pendek yang berjudul Di Ujung Senja. Analisis ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan membaca secara keseluruhan serta mengidentifikasinya. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dengan cara membaca dan mencatat penggalan kalimat atau penggalan wacana yang termasuk ke dalam nilai moral yang dicari peneliti. Dengan begitu nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerita pendek tersebut mudah diidentifikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kumpulan cerpen Di Ujung Senja syarat akan nilai moral yang patut untuk diterapkan, karena dalam kumpulan cerpen ini banyak memuat nilai-nilai moral yaitu berdoa, bersyukur, taat, tawakal, tanggung jawab, dermawan, jujur, kerja keras, meminta maaf, saling menghormati, dan tolong menolong serta berbakti kepada kedua orang tua. Nilai tersebut teridentifikasi dari beberapa kejadian dan tokoh dalam cerita pendek tersebut. Kata kunci: jenis dan wujud nilai moral dalam kumpulan cerpen

Abstract

There are 4 language skills in Bahasa. These skills are listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skills. Reading skills is very difficult than other language skills. It is difficult because reading skills involve many things, such as: Visual, Think, Psycholinguistic and metacognitive. In Elementary School or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah especially in the first grade, reading is more often acquired because it is how to get to know a letters and letter sound to the children. In this case, student should be try to speak the letter, syllable, word, and it will be expose into writing and oral (how to produce sound letter). Reading, in the lower class’s student is different with the upper class’s student. Lower class student usually has a short concentrate they need an equip and media, it can make the student in the lower class so they can interest in Bahasa Indonesia. Word card is an interesting learning media for student in the lower class especially for reading. By media, reading class is more attractive for the lower class’s student attention. It has the variation method learning process. Dalam bahasa yang kita tahu, ada 4 keterampilan bahasa. Keterampilan ini adalah keterampilan mendengarkan, keterampilan berbicara, keterampilan membaca, dan keterampilan menulis. Keterampilan membaca sangat sulit daripada keterampilan bahasa lainnya. Ini sulit karena keterampilan membaca melibatkan banyak hal, seperti: Visual, Think, Psycholinguistic dan Metacognitive. Di Sekolah Dasar atau Madrasah Ibtidaiyah terutama di kelas satu, bacaan lebih sering didapat karena cara mengenal huruf dan huruf terdengar kepada anak-anak. Dalam hal ini, siswa harus mencoba untuk berbicara huruf, suku kata, kata, dan itu akan mengekspos ke dalam tulisan dan lisan (cara menghasilkan surat suara). Membaca, pada siswa kelas bawah berbeda dengan siswa kelas atas. Siswa kelas bawah biasanya memiliki konsentrasi pendek yang mereka butuhkan peralatan dan media, itu dapat membuat siswa di kelas bawah sehingga mereka dapat tertarik pada bahasa Indonesia. Word card adalah media pembelajaran yang menarik bagi siswa di kelas bawah terutama untuk membaca. Oleh media, kelas membaca lebih menarik untuk perhatian siswa kelas bawah. Abstract

A grim portrait of life is often shown by migrant workers who work in Saudi Arabia through novel Kedai 1001 Mimpi by Valiant Budi, researcher tries to peel the grim portrait of migrant workers in Saudi Arabia. This research, using qualitative descriptive method and literature sociology approach, seeks to explore the portrait of humanity accepted by Indonesian labor migrants working in Saudi Arabia. The results of this study show a portrait of humanity experienced by female and male migrant workers. The portrait of life that happens to women in the novel Kedai 1001 Mimpi by Valian Budi is sexual harassment, physical violence, accusation, lack of protection. The portrait of humanity portrayed in male migrant workers is harassment, dissension, defamation, and unclear employment contracts. This research has significance in the humanitarian and social fields that there are many grim portraits of living witnesses who have worked as migrant workers in Saudi Arabia so that the government needs to find the right solution so that the forms of injustice received by migrant workers in Saudi Arabia do not recur.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the expression of anxiety in Elegi's poetry through heuristic and hermenic reading as well as the unsustainability of expressions in poetry, matrices, variants, and hypograms in Joko Pinurbo's five poems. This descriptive qualitative research was analyzed through Riffaterre's semiotic approach. Research data in the form of stanzas and lines in the poem Elegi by Joko Pinurbo. The source of this research is a collection of poetry books Book of Sleep Exercise X Song Moon Poetry by Jokpin Pinurbo. The results showed that (1) through reading heuristics and hermeneutics showed that there were themes taken by anxiety; (2) The unsustainability of the expression put forward by Riffaterre includes the replacement of meaning, deviation of meaning, and creation of meaning; (3) The matrix in Jokpin's "Elegi" poem is about the sad feelings of a homeless person who must be forced to be driven out of his place of residence; and (4) Hipogram poem "Elegi" is as a form of concern for the social environment one of which is experienced by some economically disadvantaged people.

Abstract

Negeri van Oranje by Wahyuningtyas and Diary Buruh Migran by Arsya Kirana is a literature work that shows the main character’s struggle in a foreign country. Based on both novel, this research is aim for (1) describing the nationalism of the main character on novel titled Negeri Van Oranje by Wahyuningtyas and novel titled Diary Buruh Migran by Arsya Kirana, and also (2) describing the impact of the character of nationalism on other figures inside novel titled Negeri Van Oranje by Wahyuningtyas and novel titled Diary Buruh Migran by Arsya Kirana. This research using descriptive approach with qualitative type. Analysis result shows there is an existence five sub values of national characterism, pervade social care, hard work, high curiosity, care for living, and loves the motherland. One of them is care for living not founded on novel titled Diary Buruh Migran by Arsya Kirana, that’s create a primacy for novel titled Negeri van Oranje by Wahyuningtyas. Overall, character of nationalism has an impact on other characters in the story, which involve cognitive components, affective components, and conative components.

Abstract

Job application letters are included in the class of official letters so that there are certain aspects that must be considered in their administration. One of these aspects is the language aspect. This study aims to describe the forms of language, such as: spelling, diction, and sentences used in job application letters at the Special Job Exchange for the Presidential Vocational School of Cirebon City and Indomaret, Kejuden Village, Cirebon Regency. This research is a qualitative research. Techniques and data instruments used in this study were documentation techniques and data cards. In addition, the observation technique with the advanced note-taking technique was used to study the data in this study. The data analysis technique used the miles model and Huberman. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there are 223 language errors used in job application letters, with details: 161 spelling errors, 19 diction errors, and 43 errors.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made all activities at home, including studying, now have to be done at home. This becomes a problem that interferes with the learning process. So the right solution is online learning, online learning is one way to overcome problems during a pandemic like today. The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of the implementation of online learning in SMA Negeri 1 Bantul. This research is descriptive qualitative research to find out the description of online learning using online media such as google meet and google classroom on subjects, especially Indonesian. The results of this study, namely the use of online media when online learning turned out to have a major influence on the student's learning process which can motivate, increase enthusiasm, and try new things in the teaching and learning process, not monotonous only by textbooks. Students also gain experience online learning, add insight, and others. However, in this online learning, students also encounter obstacles that they must face, including unstable internet network problems, limited credit and quota, too many tasks, complicated applications, and so on. The hope is that with problems like this there are solutions that can be obtained such learning is done through video calls on WhatsApp, teachers providing concise but clear learning materials, minimizing sending material in the form of heavy videos because it can affect quota wastage, and much more. . So it is hoped that in the future online learning can run well, effectively and efficiently. Keywords: online learning, online media, google classroom, and google meet Abstrak Pandemi Covid-19 telah membuat semua kegiatan di rumah saja termasuk belajar yang kini harus dilakukan di rumah saja. Hal tersebut menjadi masalah yang mengganggu proses pembelajaran. Maka solusi yang tepat yaitu pembelajaran secara daring, pembelajaran daring adalah salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah di masa pandemi seperti sekarang ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara daring di SMA Negeri 1 Bantul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengetahui secara jelas gambaran mengenai pembelajaran daring menggunakan media online seperti google meet dan google classroom pada mata pelajaran khususnya Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu dari penggunaan media online saat pembelajaran daring ternyata memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap proses belajar siswa yang dapat memotivasi, menambah semangat, dan mencoba hal baru dalam proses belajar mengajar tidak monoton hanya terpaku oleh buku pelajaran saja. Siswa juga mendapatkan pengalaman tentang pembelajaran daring, menambah wawasan dan yang lainnya. Namun pembelajaran daring ini pula siswa mendapatkan kendala-kendala yang harus mereka hadapi, di antaranya: masalah jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, pulsa dan kuota yang terbatas, tugas yang terlalu banyak, aplikasi yang rumit dan sebagainya. Harapannya dengan adanya masalah seperti ini ada solusi yang didapatkan seperti: pembelajaran dilakukan melalui video call di whatsapp, guru dalam memberikan materi pembelajaran yang ringkas namun jelas, meminimalisir mengirimkan materi yang berupa video yang berat karena dapat berpengaruh dalam pemborosan kuota, dan lmasih banyak lagi, sehingga diharapkan kedepannya pembelajaran daring dapat berjalan dengan baik, efektif, dan efisien. Abstract

This study aims to describe the social values ​​contained in A. Mustofa Bisri's Calligraphy Painting Short Story Collection and describe their application in learning in high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data source used in this research is the book Collection of Calligraphy Painting short stories by A. Mustofa Bisri which was published in 2009. The data was collected using documentation techniques. Data analysis was performed using an interactive analysis model. The results showed that: (1) there are several forms of social values ​​in the collection of calligraphy paintings by A. Mustofa Bisri, which are divided into three forms, including love, responsibility, and life harmony. (2) learning Calligraphy Painting short story collection has basic competence to identify the values ​​of life contained in the collection of short stories that are read. The methods used were group discussions, questions and answers, and assignments. Learning activities include preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities.

Abstract

The issuance of Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia (PP) Number 57 of 2014 concerning Development, Development and Protection of Language and Literature, as well as Improvement of the Function of Indonesian Language has made the dynamics of the Indonesian codification even more current. Before the regulation was published, the Indonesian language codification conducted by the government was limited to publishing the Big Indonesian Dictionary IV (KBBI) IV, General Guidelines for the Formation of Terms (PUPI), and General Guidelines for Improved Indonesian Spelling (PUEYD). The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data collection methods and techniques used include the listening method, with the basic tapping techniques and the advanced, competent free listening (SBLC) techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis methods and techniques used include the orthographic equivalent method, with the basic technique of determining the deciding element (PUP) and the advanced comparative relationship technique equalizing the subject matter (HBSP). The results showed that the codification of Indonesian language after the issuance of PP Number 57 Year 2014 included updating the KBBI, PUPI Workshops, and publishing a number of bilingual dictionaries (Indonesian-regional languages).
