Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning discipline of students in the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Masjid Baitussalam Kota Padang which allegedly has to do with students' learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to look at the picture and the relationship between students' learning motivation in the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Masjid Baitussalam Kota Padang. This research is wholly rational, which is looking at the relationship between learning motivation and learning discipline. The research population is the students of the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Masjid Baitussalam Kota Padang, with a total population of 64 people. The research sample of 32 people taken 50% of the population. The research instrument used to collect data on learning motivation and learning discipline is a questionnaire, using a Likert scale with 4 alternative answers namely: always, often, rarely, and never. Meanwhile, to measure the results of the research data, it is carried out using descriptive formulas and product moments. The results showed that students have a discipline of learning and low motivation to learn, and there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and learning discipline of students in the Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Masjid Baitussalam Kota Padang, this is evidenced by the results of the calculation of correlation using the product-moment formula which shows that the r count (0.495) is greater than rtable both at the 99% confidence level (0.463) and 95% confidence (0.361).Keywords: Students, Learning Motivation, Learning Discipline

Abstract

This research motivated by the implementation of educational learning and dance training at Sanggar Tari Rangkiang Palito in Nagari Sungai Sariak, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. This study aimed to know the intensity of dance education and training at Sanggar Tari Rangkiang Palito. These are included; implementation learning, learning strategy, learning curriculum, and learning benefits. This study is quantitative research called quantitative descriptive. The population in this study is all fostered citizens of the dance training who joined at Sanggar Tari Rangkiang Palito in Nagari Sungai Sariak, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, which totaling 30 members. And they all are the sample in this study. Saturated sample method uses to set the sample, where all of the members as the sample. This study using a questionnaire is a data collection technique, as the data collection tool is questionnaire guidelines. The analysis technique using a Linkert scale. This research’s covered showing that (1) education implementation activities and dance training have good implanted, (2) learning strategy and dance training have clarified good category, (3) educational learning curriculum and dance training have well organized, (4) the benefits of educational learning and dance training for fostered citizens get very high hope and benefits about educational and dance training result at Sanggar Rangkiang Palito in Nagari Sungai Sariak Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Furthermore, the suggestion by the researcher is expected to Sanggar Tari Rangkiang Palito in Nagari Sungai Sariak always pays attention to education implementation activities, learning strategies, learning curriculum, learning benefits for education and dance training so that fostered citizens always get the skills which appropriate to their talents. For the further researchers is expected to find another variable related to training and education intensity.Keywords: Intensity, Dance Studio

Abstract

Non-formal education programs can be carried out by families, communities, or governments. Padang Industrial Training Center is a form of a government institution that organizes non-formal education programs, Padang Industrial Training Center has the duty to improve and provide knowledge and training in the field of embroidery and fashion to the people of West Sumatra Province and outside West Sumatra. Padang Industrial Training and Education Center has many programs in the field of embroidery and fashion, one example of the program is education and training in batik 3 in 1. This study aims to determine the comparison of learning outcomes of training participants who live in Bengkulu City with those who live in Kepahiang Regency in participating in a 3 in 1 batik training program at BDI Padang. This type of research is Comparative Causal. The population in this study were training participants who participated in the 3 in 1 written batik training in class IX and class XIII in 2019, amounting to 134 people. The sample in this study amounted to 68 people using stratified-cluster random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. Analysis of the data used quantitatively using a t-test using SPSS 24 software. Based on the results of the study the learning outcomes of Bengkulu City training participants at most with excellent criteria, namely 20 people (58.8%) and as many as 14 people on good criteria, the learning outcomes of the Kepahiang City training participants at most with very good criteria, namely 30 people (88, 2%) and as many as 4 people (11.8%) criteria are good and there are differences in learning outcomes between students who live in cities and training participants who live in districts in participating in 3 in 1 education and training at Padang BDI, meaning that the hypothesis Ha is accepted. It is recommended for the Department of non-school education of Padang State University to be able to make the results of this study as a reference in teaching materials on education and training in various regions.Keywords: Learning Outcomes of Education and Training, Bengkulu City, Kepahiang District

Abstract

The background of this research, namely the low interest of the community in utilizing TBM (TBM) in PKBM Tapakis Cerdas, this is allegedly related to the incomplete facilities available in TBM PKBM Tapakis Cerdas. The purpose of this research is to describe: (1) facilities available in TBM PKBM Tapakis Cerdas, (2) community interest in utilizing TBM in PKBM Tapakis Cerdas, and (3) the relationship between available facilities and community interest in utilizing TBM in PKBM Tapakis Cerdas. This type of research, namely correlational quantitative research with a population of all people registered with TBM, people who have visited TBM at least twice in 2018, amounting to 24 people, and the entire population used as a sample called respondents. The sampling technique in this study, the census method. While the data collection technique uses a questionnaire, and the data collection tool uses a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using the calculation of percentages and Rank Order Correlation. The results of the study stated that: (1) the facilities available at TBM PKBM Tapakis Cerdas were in the incomplete category, (2) community interest in utilizing TBM in PKBM Tapakis Cerdas was in a low category, (3) There was a significant relationship between the facilities available with community interest in utilizing TBM in PKBM Tapakis Cerdas. Abstract

This research is motivated by scouting education in Racana Dang Tuanku dan Bundo Kanduang which is inseparable from the values of character education. Allegedly there are a number of Racana Dang Tuanku dan Bundo Kanduang Scout Members, who are classified as still productive, when they were prospective members, they did not have any practice about scouting education. Therefore the purpose of this study is to describe the role of scouting education in instilling character values for the Racana Dang Tuanku dan Bundo Kanduang Scout Members. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was Racana Dang Tuanku dan Bundo Kanduang Scout Members in 2020 starting from the 34th generation to the 37th generation, amounting to 80 people. Samples were taken as much as 75%. The number of samples is 60 people. The data collection technique was a questionnaire. Data collection tool in the form of a list of statements. The analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of this study can be seen that: (1) The role of scouting education in instilling character values for Racana Dang Tuanku dan Bundo Kanduang Scouts Members is very high in the aspect of comprehension and practice of scout values reaching 61%; (2) The role of scouting education in instilling character values for Racana Dang Tuanku dan Bundo Kanduang Scout Members is very high in the aspect of developing character education based on religious, cultural, environmental-based and self-potential reaching 68%. The suggestions in this study are (1) Racana Dang Tuanku dan Bundo Kanduang should better utilize the existing facilities and infrastructure so that scouting education is always in demand by Scout Members so that with Scouting education it can shape the character of Scout Members as humans who have noble personalities; (2) Always maintain and improve the character values that have been obtained in Racana Dang Tuanku dan Bundo Kanduang, and implemented in daily life.Keywords: Scouting Education, Character Education
