Abstract

This research was motivated by the success of Kemuning 1 KUBE-FM which was allegedly due to the coaching approach to the group members provided by the coach of the group. This research aimed to describe the direct coaching approach based on individual and group coaching aspects. In addition, this research is also to describe the indirect coaching approach based on the letter, brochure, and television aspects. This is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The data source of this research consists of the members of Kemuning 1 as the research subjects, and the research informant consists of group coach, social worker companion, and the community in the Kemuning 1 KUBE-FM environment. The data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques are reduction data, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique employs source triangulation. The research result revealed that Kemuning 1 KUBE-FM success based on (1) the Direct coaching approach signifies good results in terms of problems faced by the group members and how they solve the problems. (2) The indirect coaching approach signifies good results in terms of the coaching approach to the group members in which it already supports the business smoothness carried out by group members. It is recommended that the group coach who conducts KUBE-FM would be able to develop a community joint business program, namely, establishing other kinds of joint business, such as KUBE Farming, KUBE home industry.Keywords: KUBE-FM, Coaching Approach

Abstract

The objective of the present study describes the importance of parental guidance in fostering children's independence. Indicators of children's independence that are grown by parents in this study are self-confidence, discipline and positive habits. This research is a qualitative research with naturalistic phenomenology approach. The subjects of the study were parents of children who studied in Play Group Harapan, Pekanbaru. In collecting the data, observation, interview and documentation were administered. This study used an interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman which consist of data reduction, data presentation and concluding conclusions. The results of the study show that there were three patterns of guidance that parents do to foster children's independence. Firstly, fostering self-confidence by accompanying children in their activities, patiently guiding children, familiarizing children according to their abilities. Secondly, shaping the disciplined attitude of the child who is responsible for his toys, accustoms the time spent in daily activities, makes good communication. Third, develop positive habits in children by making parents as role models for children, always keeping promises, giving words of praise, getting used to being involved in various activities.Keywords: Discipline, Guidance Pattern, Independent, Self-Confidence

Abstract

Youth is one of the main targets of sustainable development. Target in the sense of being a development target and also as an executor of development. Some official data sourced from the UN and ADB show the disadvantaged situation of youth in several regions of the world. However, in other data, it is shown that the existence of youth is a new optimism in the world's sustainable development towards 2030. In the case of Covid-19 as a world pandemic, youth play a role in several concrete actions, either as volunteers or as agents of information dissemination that have an impact on related public literacy Covid-19 prevention. Abstract

Education game tool is a game tool that aims to develop children’s abilities, this game tool is usually used by PAUD children aged 3 to 6 years. Cognitive development has an important role in children’s success in playing a game because children’s play activities are related to thinking problems. The goals of this research to find out whether the relation between educational toys and cognitive development of early childhood in Parkit, Air Tawar Barat, Padang. Samples were taken by total sampling technique, which amounted to 7 people. The research design has taken Whatsapp interviews, and survey data collected through a questionnaire. The results of the study used moment product correlations is a relationship between APE and children’s cognitive development.Keywords: Educational Game Tools, Cognitive Development

Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of housewives who work outside of homework. This study aims to reveal how the housewife's response to her role as a supporter of the family economy in RW 17 (Kampung KB Bangau Putih) Parupuk Tabing Village, namely: 1) in terms of position namely the position of housewives in terms of individuals, law, social society, religion and culture, 2) in terms of actions that are rational actions, value-oriented actions, affective actions, and traditional actions, and 3) in terms of behavior that is based on awareness, and feel attracted as a supporter of the family economy. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of housewives who work outside of household workers, amounting to 96. Samples were taken as much as 30% of the population so as to get 30 people. The sampling technique used in this study is Stratified random sampling. Techniques for collecting data use a questionnaire and data collection tools in the form of a statement list. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of this study according to housewives showed a) The description of the responses of housewives to their role in terms of their position as supporting the family economy in RW 17 (Kampung KB Bangau Putih) Parupuk Tabing Village, Padang City was categorized as good. b) The description of the response of a housewife to her role in terms of actions as a support for the family economy in RW 17 (Kampung KB Bangau Putih) Parupuk Tabing Village, Padang City is categorized as good. c) The description of the response of housewives to their role in terms of behavior as a supporter of the family economy in RW 17 (Kampung KB Bangau Putih) Parupuk Tabing Village, Padang City is categorized as good. Suggestions for the head of the household are expected later this research should be able to be a motivation especially for the head of the household/husband to be able to work with his wife in sustaining the family economy. And for families so that this research should be an encouragement for all family members to work together in increasing family income, alleviating the burden on their husbands, and meeting all family needs.Keywords: Responses, Housewives

Abstract

The rise of the phenomenon of sexual abuse in early childhood amid the rapid development of information technology is something that needs to be addressed seriously. Adverse effects that occur due to sexual abuse in early childhood are not only felt by the victim in a short period of time but will also be felt and affect the development of the psychological and mental aspects of the child after he is an adult. Parents as the main responsible for children's healthy growth and development must be able to ensure that their children avoid the threat of crime, one of which is the threat of sexual abuse. Good supervision is the key to the success of parents in keeping their children from becoming victims of sexual harassment. Therefore, parents must master a variety of strategies or ways to teach and get used so that children can avoid the targets of sexual abuse predators. Among the strategies that parents can do are, establish intense communication with children, teach them to be brave to say no and reject persuasions or enticements of others, discipline in saying, behaving and acting, independent according to their age and teaching about body parts that are personal to him and should not be seen, touched and held by others.Keywords: Supervision, Threats, Sexual Harassment, Early Childhood, Digital Era

Abstract

This research was motivated by the successful achievement of scout extracurricular activities in Junior High School 22 Padang in the last three years. This is suspected because the management of extracurricular activities carried out by the school is getting better done. This study aims to describe the management of scout extracurricular activities in Junior High School 22 Padang. The activities carried out are planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Sources of data in this study are the principal, vice-principal, supervisor, coach, teacher, and students. Data collection techniques used are the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion collection. The data validity technique used is the triangulation technique. Research results obtained, namely: (1) planning to discuss activities, objectives of the formulation, strategies, resources, standards of success, work programs, schedule of activities and sources of funds; (2) organizing include activities, the existence of organizational structure, facilities, and infrastructure, assignment of tasks, recruitment of participants; (3) mobilizing discussion of activities, implementation, and motivation; (4) supervision of issuing activities, evaluating results, solving problems and weak reporting systems.Keywords: Management, Extracurricular, Scout

Abstract

This research is written based on training program 3 in 1 making handmade batik that aims to increase community skills, life skills, and create jobs in the field of embroidery and fashion. With the 3 in 1 training program for making handmade batik, the community can be creative and can distribute their potential. This study aims to illustrate how the development of a 3 in 1 training program for making batik in the Padang Industrial Training Center. The development of this program start from the planning process first, the implementation process and the program evaluation process. This research is qualitative approach with the case study method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentaries. From the results of the study found that the development process starts from the planning stage which includes, 1)goal setting; 2) preparation of training programs. The implementation phase includes, 1) distribution of participants' learning equipment; 2) training methods used; 3) training atmosphere; 4) and implementation of competency tests. The evaluation phase includes the initial evaluation and final evaluation stages.Keywords: Program, Development, Training, Handmade Batik

Abstract

Education which is actually a complex process and has a noble purpose will have a great impact on the perpetrators themselves. Often there are various problems that occur in dealing with the world of education, starting from the availability of facilities and infrastructure as well as the participation of the roles of various educational actors. Indeed education involves two groups consisting of teachers and students as objects to be taught. Of course, in conducting the learning process in delivering a material, not far from what we know as communication, deeper communication, and aimed at the building can be interpreted as intrapersonal communication. This communication is more binding and gives a sensitive feeling and will foster mutual respect between one group and another group. Abstract

Many parents are not actively participating in the parenting program. This can be seen by 35 parents of children in PAUD Aisyiyah 14 Ampang, Padang City, only 15 parents (42%) who participated in parenting by participating and being involved and actively participating in parenting activities by attending parenting programs regularly every month. Meanwhile, there were 20 parents (58%) who did not participate in the parenting program themselves. As for this data, researchers obtained through interviews with managers at PAUD Aisyiyah 14 Ampang, Padang City, where parenting program activities take place every Tuesday, the 2nd week of each month. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that parents' understanding of parenting and their participation in participating in parenting activities has a significant relationship. This means that if the understanding of parenting is high, the higher participation in participating in activities, and vice versa. In organizing an activity there are things that must be understood by the organizer of the program or activity, with the aim that the activity can run smoothly and can achieve the objectives as expected. In increasing parental participation in carrying out parenting activities, it is not easy. For this reason, the role of parents is very influential in maximizing parental participation rates in the implementation of parenting activities.Keywords: Understanding, Participation, Early Childhood Education
