Abstract

Sleep apnea is a severe sleep disorder leading to severe threats such as heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, kidney failure, hypertension, etc. Not only is the diagnosis of sleep apnea a challenging measure, but it also requires a high cost of equipment, the limitations of available tools, and becomes a complicated diagnosis operated personally at home. Using the microphone embedded in the Arduino Nano, a system to measure the respiratory rate develops as a minor part of the sleep apnea diagnostic system using polysomnography. A filtering system is attached to eliminate noise and environmental consequences around the observation site. This prototype evaluates by comparing the output value with the manual calculation of the respiratory rate. Of the trials executed, the achieved system accuracy in counting the respiratory rate is above 93%, meaning that this prototype system is ideal as a method of measuring the respiratory rate.

Abstract

Phonemes are the building blocks of every oral language. Every utterance is composed of one or more phonemes. To improve the accuracy of acoustic models, the researchers attempted to identify the pattern of vowel phonemes in bahasa Indonesia using STFT and MFCC features. This paper analyzes 398 audio files gathered from 51 participants and explores the difference of phonemes a, i, u, e,o. Using SVM and Neural Network, the features are classified and tested. The result gave 93.8% accuracy using SVM with radial based kernel

Abstract

The Onboard System is a part of the CBTC's automated routes. Communication Base Interlocking (CBTC) is a train technology system that implements now. The train technology system in Indonesia applies to MRT and LRT trains. On the MRT that is applying Grade Of Automation 2 and LRT apply Grade Of Automation 1. GOA is a system that regulates the automation of train control systems. Onboard System is often an obstacle; namely, the driver has difficulty knowing the train's condition. Therefore, there needs to be a system design that helps the driver know the train's condition. This research method consists of observation, design, and testing of the system. System design makes so that the driver can make it easier to know the train's condition. This research method consists of observation, design, and testing of the system. The system's design makes so that the driver can make it easier to know the condition of the train. Testing is conducted that is a test function receive data from the side of Radio Block Control with On-board can be processed by its function. The test results showed that receiving and processing data on The On-board can be done by its function. From the tests that have conducted with the experiment of 20 route simulations formed by the system, the system was successfully run at a speed of 70 - 90 km and displayed according to inputs from the Radio Block Control database with ATO and ATP modes—assuming a series of 10 trains weighing 38 tons, one locomotive weighing 84 tons and passenger occupancy of 100%.

Abstract

Every time there is a transaction process carried out by a customer, that process adds to the data collection in a database. This study uses transaction data to determine customer segmentation and build a strategy based on customer characteristics with the RFM and K-Means model approach. K-Means Clustering is an algorithm that can produce a visual cluster model with the Rapidminer application version 9.9, using the RFM attribute to represent the number of customers from each cluster. The transaction data for the last three years, 2017, 2018, and 2019 with 4,332 transactions, were then managed based on the RFM model resulting in 1898 customers. Furthermore, a cluster analysis carries out using the K-Means algorithm with 319 customers in cluster 1, 314 customers in cluster 2, 316 customers in cluster 3, 317 customers in cluster 4, 315 customers in cluster 5, and 317 customers in cluster 6. The company can use the results of this study to determine customer characteristics and as a consideration for making a new strategy.

Abstract

This research aims to take advantage of marketing strategies with digital marketing using e-commerce as a promotional medium where currently the cultivation of vegetables and fruit developed in the world of agribusiness makes farmers compete with each other and cultivate in the agricultural sector, one of which is the hydroponic planting method. Therefore, automatically the selling power of the vegetables itself also has a competitive edge. The difficulty and the added lack of promotional and sales media at Hydroponic Gardens is the background for making information systems on Hydroponic Gardens, so that by utilizing digital marketing it can increase promotional media and increase sales results. The research method used is FAST while the application program was developed using PHP and the database used was MySQL and the script was developed with Sublime Text. The purpose of this research is to utilize e-communication and build a system in order to facilitate promotion and sales as well as make it easier for owners to be able to view transactions and sales reports. So that the management of all existing data can be monitored through the system with an easier process.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted higher education activities, including the student administration service process at the Nurul Fikri STT Terpadu BAAK. The problem faced is that the process of submitting letter requirements is still manual. As a result of this manual submission, students who need letters cannot come face-to-face to campus. Of course, this will impact BAAK's performance in serving the administrative needs of students. Because of this, this article then provides a solution in the form of using Google Sheets and Google Forms for the student administration submission process. Google Sheets and Google Forms are choices because they are cloud-based storage systems and can use by anyone without being limited by place and time. This study used electronic Service Quality (E-SQ) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) as the test and questionnaires as a data collection tool. The dimensions used in E-SQ are efficiency, fulfillment, and system availability. The study results obtained two categories, namely the results of processing student data and BAAK staff data. The percentage of student results is as follows. The efficiency dimension is 86%. Fulfillment is 82.5%, and the system available is 82.5%. The percentage of results of BAAK staff is as follows. Efficiency is 86.67%, fulfillment is 90%, and the system available is 100%.

Abstract

The introduction of the New Student Campus Life (PKKMB) activity at The Electronics Engineering Polytechnic of Surabaya (EEPIS) is limited in its implementation due to the never-ending Covid-19 pandemic. All activities involving large numbers of people must carry out online to avoid the spread of the Covid-19 virus. With this policy, an application that can describe the campus life environment online is needed, so digital virtual reality media makes, namely Virtual Tour. The user interfaces in this application design using the Balsamiq application so that the resulting display is more attractive and interactive. A virtual tour application created using multi panoramic images, where 360º panoramic images taken using a 360 camera taken at several campus locations—making a virtual tour application using the 3DVista application. The application development method used in this research is Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). From the test results of the website-based virtual tour application created, this application can display the environment and facilities owned by the EEPIS campus and can run according to its functionality, and can use by students to recognize the campus environment.

Abstract

One of the engineering companies located in the Cikarang area has a rule that every employee is not allowed to access the internet through a browser during working hours, i.e., from 08.00 AM to 12.00 AM and 1.00 to 5.00 PM, only during break time which is between 12.00 AM until 1.00 PM, employees are allowed to access the internet through a browser. The company can apply this rule by implementing its policies on router firewalls to be followed by all employees thoroughly. This research will analyze and implement the process of configuring the router firewalls for the applied case. The first stage of this research starts from analyzing the software and hardware requirements, analyzing the network topology designs, implement the company's policies on firewall configuration, and the last stage is by doing the testing. From this implementation, we get the results that all users cannot access the internet through a browser except for authorized users. These results are applied based on the company's rules and policies proposed above that employees only able to access the internet through a browser during break time and before and after working hours.

Abstract

Computer games empirically prove to complement metacognitive abilities that cannot obtain through ordinary mathematics education. Game-based learning also shows to increases engagement, motivation, critical thinking, and learning skills. However, the process of developing learning games requires collaboration with various parties who have different backgrounds. The model-driven development approach simplifies communication and collaboration between parties with different backgrounds because it uses a modeling language easily understood by various parties. The Usability Testing that the authors get by using a questionnaire states that this game's usability rate is 87.22%. The test also shows that educational games with the platformer genre can encourage players to learn.

Abstract

The design of the library guestbook dashboard system at BPS assists in processing visitor data on the processing staff by providing an information system in the form of a website in the processing section. Visitors fill out their bio by the guidelines by utilizing the website on the device. This website makes with a hypertext preprocessor (PHP) programming language that uses databases as a data processing medium. PHP uses MYSQL as a database. The method used to make a website is agile. In this study, data collection conducts by interviewing the BPS sources of Brebes Regency. In this study, researchers found problems in recording guest data of the BREBES Regency BPS library using stationery. Agile methods can do in the creation of this website with results by the requests of BPS staff of Brebes Regency for the creation of a guest book website of the LIBRARY bps Brebes regency has been tested using black box testing methods through google meet media and testing directly with participants of 7 processing staff. From the results of black box testing, 100% of respondents answered that all functional aspects of the BPS library guest book website system developed can function by the design and needs of the system.
