Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) merupakan media untuk menjembatani dunia pendidikan dengan masyarakat. Di era globalisasi dengan pemanfaatan teknologi dan peran pemerintah menjadi salah satu pilot proyek yang dapat dijadikan peluang untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui peluang berwirausaha. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Sosialisasi Pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) bagi aparatur desa dan Pengelola BUMDes sebagai dasar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan baik secara individu maupun secara lembaga desa di Desa Timbang Jaya Kecamatan Bahorok Kabupaten Langkat. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan metode diskusi. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui Sosialisasi Pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes), sehingga pengelola BUMDes memilki kemampuan dalam menjalankan program yang tepat sasaran agar bisa dipertanggungjawabkan sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku, khususnya di Desa Timbang Jaya Kecamatan Bahorok Kabupaten Langkat. Harapan ke depan tentunya diperlukan tindak lanjut oleh Pemerintah Daerah dan semua pihak yang terkait untuk menggali potensi-potensi yang ada di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

Preservation of  Simalungun's typical sauce to the women™s organization of Simalungun Central Bureau of Statistics by the Medan State University Research and Service Center, namely tinuktuk sauce, have been carried out by socializing the benefits and contents of which have been carried out online. Preserving this tinuktuk sauce as a form of community service has already been done by the Universita Negeri Medan community research and service center. It is implemented by socializing the benefits and nutritional content of tinuktuk. In the webinar, not only the introduction of the Simalungun tinuktuk sauce, but also the nutritional content and benefits of the tinuktuk sauce were also socialized. This is also related to the importance of nutritional needs to increase body immunity during the COVID-19 period. In the process of socializing efforts to preserve the benefits and nutritional content of Simalungun's special sauce, there was a significant difference in result between the pre-test and post-test, namely in the pre-test 43% and post-test 84%, and this indicates that participants know the benefits and nutritional content of Simalungun™s typical tinuktuk sauce. This community service activity went smoothly because the participant already knew about the nutritional content and benefits of Simalungun™s typical tinuktuk sauce and it™s hoped that the tinuktuk sauce can be preserved.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out by the team on this occasion aim to provide several alternative side incomes for young coconut entrepreneurs. Some of the problems partners face in this regard are specifically in: a). Waste of young coconut shells and young coconut shells that are just thrown away and piled up beside/behind the young coconut business; b) the bookkeeping system is still traditional; there are even partners who did not record the books beforehand. Specific targets or solutions expected in this community service area). Partners can process young coconut waste into a new source of income, namely by making used coconut shells into natural and environmentally friendly pots/polybags by planting aglaonema flowers, and b). The scraps of peel and fragments of young coconut shell waste can be used as a fuel substitute for charcoal or briquettes. The service team handed over TTG in the form of closed burning barrels from used barrels for optimal combustion and simple financial training to determine the income from selling young coconuts to partners. Method of Implementation This service is carried out by carrying out the initial approach method, training, and mentoring on how to manufacture the finished product so that the alternative side income can be achieved maximally. The outputs produced in this activity are as follows: a) print and online mass media publications; (b) activity videos uploaded on youtube, and (c) articles in national journals with ISSN online and in print (d) trademarks (billboards/banners) creative designs, social media and also business location points on google maps.

Kegiatan kepada Masyarakat dengan judul œPemanfaatan Limbah Minyak Jelantah Menjadi Sabun Berbasis Ecogreen Dalam Meningkatkan Pendapatan Rumah Tangga di Desa Klambir Lima Kebun, Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang berguna untuk memberikan pengetahuan melatih membuat sabun Ecogreen dari minyak jelantah tersebut kepada masyarakat di Desa Klambir Lima Kebun Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang khususnya Ibu rumah tangga agar menambah pendapatan. Dari kegiatan ini diharapkan nantinya hasil limbah yang telah menjadi produk sabun Ecogreen dapat menyeimbangkan pemasukan dan pengeluaran rumah tangga pada masayarakat di Desa Klambir Lima Kebun, Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang.Kata Kunci : Limbah Minyak Jelantah, Ecogreen, Pendapatan Rumah Tangga

Abstract

AbstrakWanita dalam sebuah keluarga yakni seorang ibu memiliki peran besar selama pandemi covid-19. Pandemi Covid-19 telah berlangsung hampir 3 tahun lamanya dan berdampak signifikan terhadap ekonomi dan tatanan sosial dan selama itu wanita dalam keluarga yakni seorang ibu dituntut untuk mampu menghadapi permasalahan yang muncul walau dengan ketidaksempurnaan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Tidak terkecuali ibu-ibu Dawis Bougenville 1 Madyopuro Kota Malang yang tinggal di Kawasan Perumahan FLPP di Kota Malang juga merasakan dampak tersebut. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tambahan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam lingkup perencanaan keuangan keluarga. Dilakukan dengan metode yang terbagi atas 3 tahapan dan dilaksanakan dari bulan September hingga Desember 2021. Setiap tahapan dilengkapi dengan evaluasi pre-test dan post-test. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan diperoleh dampak yang positif yakni meningkatnya kesadaran akan pentingnya perencanaan keuangan keluarga, meningkatnya kemampuan menyusun skala prioritas dan anggaran keuangan keluarga. Dengan adanya program ini juga mendukung ketahanan keluarga selama pendemi covid-19. Manfaat lain setelah diadakan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah adanya kesadaran para kepala keluarga yakni suami untuk membersamai para istri (ibu) dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga serta munculnya semangat menciptakan usaha walau dengan skala kecil. Keberlangsungan program sesuai kebutuhan obyek pengabdian adalah membuat pelatihan pembukuan sederhana untuk usaha kecil yang dirintis.Kata Kunci: perencanaan keuangan, katahanan keluarga, covid-19

Abstract

Abstract” Fish has good potential to overcome malnutrition problems such as lack of energy and protein (PEM), lack of vitamin A, disorders due to lack of iodine, and nutritional anemia, while tempeh-based formulas can shorten the duration of acute diarrhea and accelerate weight gain after suffering from one illness. episodes of acute diarrhea. Tempe and fish are easier to digest because of their high content of free fatty acids, peptides, and amino acids. The objectives of this IbM activity are (1) the design of more spin machines, (2) the production of forte cookies and fish meal cookies, (3) the production of various processed fish, packaging, and nutritional status. Specific targets to be achieved; There are variations of PMT Toddlers to improve the nutritional status of toddlers, production of processed fish through the application of food processing technology, packaging, and economic empowerment of fishing communities. The approach method used is the method of education, production training, business management training, design, and assistance. The results of this IbM program activity are more spin machines with a drying capacity of 10 kg/30 minutes, additional food products (PMT) for toddlers in the form of forte cookies, fish flour cookies, and various processed fish products. Conclusion: Organoleptic tests for taste, aroma, texture, and color, showed positive responses from IbM partners and participants, as well as responses from local people who tasted the product. The nutritional knowledge of the cadres is good (87.3%), making forte and fish meal (91%), making various kinds of processed fish (91.6%). The nutritional status of children under five is still under the category of malnutrition (36%). Selling processed fish products is still (28%). The production of a variety of processed fish products will be an opportunity for new entrepreneurs for posyandu cadres and fishing communities to increase the income of fishing communities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Job Enrichment, Reward and Teamwork on Employee Engagement at PT Nusantara Berlian Motor. The sample in this study were all employees of PT Nusantara Berlian Motor, totaling 45 employees. This research was conducted from July to November 2020. Sources of data were collected through questionnaires. This study uses quantitative data with multiple linear regression analysis model. The results showed that Job Enrichment and Reward had a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement at PT Nusantara Berlian Motor partially. Teamwork does not have a significant effect on Employee Engagement at PT Nusantara Berlian Motor partially. Job Enrichment, Reward, and Teamwork simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement at PT Nusantara Berlian Motor. Keywords:  Job Enrichment, Reward, Teamwork, Employee Engagement

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership, job characteristics and work ability on the performance of employees of PT Petrokimia Gresik Medan. The data collected in this study were primary data and secondary data, which were collected through data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. The sample in this study were 45 respondents. This study uses quantitative data, with multiple linear regression method. The test results show that partially the leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job characteristics variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work ability variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, simultaneously, the variables of leadership, job characteristics and work ability have a positive and significant effect on company performance. Keywords:  Employee Performance, Leadership, Job Characteristics and Workability

Abstract

The strategic planning of the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) is the main function of management in the fields that include planning, organizing, implementing and supervising. This study aims to analyze the improvement in the development of the Green House Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research with a descriptive type of research that is not intended to test certain hypotheses but to find an overview of the strategic planning of the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). The data and information needed in this study were obtained from information from informants, namely people who are considered to know and can be trusted in providing accurate information using two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this research are direct observation to the research site, in-depth interviews and documentation at the research site. The results of the research show that the implementation of the four management functions of the Green House Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) when viewed from the planning function is categorized as good because it is structured. The organizing or grouping function is categorized as good, because there are no specific rules, then in the process of implementing the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) it is carried out from Monday to Friday, then the supervisory function where during learning activities is supervised by supervisors from the Deli Serdang Education Office.

Abstract

The unstable condition of Covid-19 pandemic caused teachers be innovative in combining both online learning and face to face learning. Nevertheless, the application of digital media during hybrid learning is still a big issue for teachers in SD Adhyaksa, Medan City, North Sumatra Province. In consequence, it is necessary to hold community service by means of socialization of application digital media for hybrid learning. This service aims to socialize and offer training related to the use of online study through Google Classroom and Google Form to teachers and employees at Elementary School. The methods used to carry out this service activity were lecturing method and direct practice. It started from providing material introduction and direct practice of using Google Classroom and Google Form for teachers. With a variety of features it has, Google Classroom can be used to demonstrate or visualize concept of lessons with no face to face needed. From this service activity the teachers who tried Google Classroom and Google Form got good results. They understood how to apply digital media either in online learning or in offline learning. After getting materials and practices for applying digital media, Google Classroom and Google Form, teachers are accustomed to use these online media for hybrid learning.
