Abstract

This Research was based on the problem related to a boy named as X who was in the fourth grade of SLB Al-Hidayah  Padang.  He could not control his such behavior as hitting other  students without any reasons, uttering dirty words and feeling innocent for his mistake. This research was aimed at diminishing the hitting behavior of a kid with behavioral disorders by using High Touch approach. This was an experimental research which use Single Research Subject (SSR) and applied A-B design. The subject of the research was a boy named as X at SLB Al-Hidayah Padang. He was 14 years old. This research was started from the baseline condition which was the kid’s joy of hitting others, and then it was continued to the intervention condition in which a treatment given to the kid. In order to make the result of the research clear, the data gathered was processed by using graphic. The result of the data analysis showed that in the baseline condition (A) the  number of the boy hit his friends was 30 times in 15 minutes while in the intervention condition in which the High-Touch approach was applied, the number was getting smaller. Thus, it was concluded that the use High-Touch approach could diminish the hitting behavior of the kid with behavioral disorders. Therefore, it was suggested to the teacher to apply High-Touch approach to reduce unsolicited behaviors.

Abstract

This study backs on the problems in the background that appears in the field, namely child lightweight X Tunagrahita SDLB class I at 20 Cottage Duo Pariaman District who have difficulty in identifying symbol number 1-10. This is evident from the beginning of the ability of children in naming the symbol numbers of children have difficulty on tests that researchers administered. children have not been able to answer all the tests correctly. This study aims to improve children's ability in identifying symbol of light Tunagrahita numbers through Edu-Games. Edu-Games is a computer software that contains games for children and full of the elements of education. Research methodology that researchers use is to research research using single subject AB design. Namely the design of a study comparing the ability to know the symbol number of children 1-10 in mild Tunagrahita X between baseline condition and the condition of the intervention. Data analysis techniques are used based on the observed data in the form of Visual Analysis of Graphs. The results are analyzed include the number of observations at baseline conditions and meeting as many as six times as much as ten times the intervention condition The results of this study can be seen in data analysis and data analysis under conditions that indicate the presence of inter-change ability to recognize the symbol on the number of children towards a better X through the medium of Edu-Games. From the analysis of data obtained can be concluded that the hypothesis (Ha) that the proposed is acceptable. Edu-Games media means to be used in improving the ability to know the symbol numbers 1-10 for kids in the class I light Tunagrahita SDLB Cottage Duo Pariaman District 20. Recommended for classroom teachers or subject teachers of Mathematics in order to use the media Edu-Games for kids Tunagrahita familiar symbol of light in the teaching of number.

Abstract

penelitian ini dari permasalahan yang nampak di lapangan yaitu seorang anak retardasi mental ringan DII/C di SLB Lumin Alisa Padang yang mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan penjumlahan deret kesamping bilangan 1s/d10. Berdasarkan hal tersebut  pengamatan ini berguna untuk cara mengunakan media dadu dan menambah kemampuan penjumlahan deret kesamping bilangan 1s/d10 untuk anak retardasi mental ringan kelas DII/C di SLB Lumin Alisa Padang. Penelitian menggunakan Single Subject Research, desain A-B. A (baseline) adalah kondisi awal, kondisi B (Intervensi) setelah diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan media dadu. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis visual grafik. Hasil menyatakan bahwa kemampuan penjumlahan deret kesamping bilangan  1s/d10  anak retardasi mental ringan  kelas DII/ C di SLB Lumin Alisa Padang dapat meningkat melalui media dadu.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the discovery of an autistic child in SLB Autisma Mutiara Bangsa Padang that has not been able to recognize primary colors. While school teacher has been giving lessons on letters and numbers, whereas in the curriculum the child should already know basic colors in the development phase before the commencing of cognitive learning. Teachers also less consistent with the techniques used or the stages of the curriculum in delivering learning. Based on such facts, the researchers aim to prove whether the Discrete Trial Training (DTT) technique is effective to improve the ability of the child to know the primary colors. This type of research is the single subject research (SSR), with A-B-A design and research data analysis using visual analysis chart.Data analysis showed the baseline (A1) is performed as much as 7 times with mean level of 0%, the stability percentage of 100%, tendency towards stable (=). Continued intervention (B) for 16 times with mean level of 59.37%, 18.75% stability percentage, tendency toward increased (+). Further baseline condition (A2) is performed as much as 7 times with mean level of 90.47%, 28.57% stability percentage, tendency towards increased (+). Inter-state analysis of the data obtained changes in condition B/A1 is +0, and A2/B is +100. Overlap on data analysis B/A1 and B/A2 is 12.5% and 12.5%, respectively. Thus the research hypothesis is accepted, which Discrete Trial Training (DTT) technique is effective in improving the ability of autistic children recognize primary colors in SLB Autisma Mutiara Bangsa Padang. Key Word: primary colors; discrete trial training; autistic; autism

Abstract

The background research is the lack of english vocabulary in deaf student majoring in Special Need Education (PLB) FIP UNP Padang. Thus, the author helps to improve English vocabulary that is specific to the noun vocabulary through Flash Cards. This study used a single subject research approach (SSR) with the A-B design and data analysis techniques using visual graphical analysis. The subjects were students with hearing impairment, given the intervention by using the flash cards. From the results of this research results show English vocabulary (noun) an increase controlled subjects. In the analysis between conditions showed a tendency towards a positive (+) change of variable to variable rendt stability, trend and level changes increased from 15% to 90%, and 0% Percentage Overlap of data meaningful research results accepted. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that the Treasury Vocabulary English (Noun) The Deaf Students Can Enhanced Media Flash Card. The authors suggest to students that English vocabulary is lacking, could use a media card in increasing vocabulary words and no exception to teachers who want to apply the word cards to students in improving the vocabulary of the students. Abstract

Abstrack: The study begins with the problems that the researcher found at the first grade in SDN 05 Batu taba, Kab. Agam,  in Indonesian language subject. Especially in learning to read, learning to read in child has a problem in arranging the letters into syllables and syllables into words. This research method was experiment research with single subject research (SSR) that used A-B design. The result of the research conducted 16 times of observations with two conditions. The first baseline condition that made as much as 8 times of the observations shows the result was 10%-20%. With the analysis of condition,  the tendency toward increase (+) the tendency of the  stability of 0%, and 10% change  level conditions of interventions through Multimedia as much as 8 times of observation  which shows the results 40%-80%. With the analysis of the baseline conditions, the trend towards increased baseline condition (+) 0% trend of stabilities and  change to level 10 %. The trend toward increase state intervention (+) 25% trend of stabilities and change level to 40%. And analysis of the conditions was change tendency of stable variation to varias, change level 20% and 0% overlap. Thus, it is evident that multimedia can improved the beginning reading ability at of the difficulty of learning to read X class at the first grade in SDN 05 Batu taba, kab. Abstract

This research of  background overshadow by problem of a child cerebral palsy of class VII with find difficulties in button keyboard. Of result identify and asesmen, child find difficulties in button keyboard better and correctness. Hence from that researcher cope to assist to increase ability button keyboard by using practice of taktil and of kinestetik. This research aim to increase ability button keyboard through usage of practice of tactil kinestetik to cerebral palsy of child. This research using approach of experiment in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) designed by A-B and technique analyse its data use visual analysis of graph of analysis in a condition and analyse between condition. Assessment in this research that is by giving media at child to practice the way of button keyboard. For its goals of him that is frequency if child can button keyboard better and correctness given by value 1, and if child unable to button keyboard is truly given by value 0. Result of this research indicate that pursuant to result of good data analysis or analysis in a condition and also analyse between condition show estimation tendency of direction, tendency of stability, data footstep and rate of change which mounting positively and also overlop at data analysis smaller. Hence thereby can be expressed by research hypothesis (Ha) accepted. From result of entirety show the existence of change of ability button keyboard at child of J toward better. Matter this means can be concluded that kinestetik tactil ltihan can be used in improving ability button keyboard to cerebral palsy of child. Hence researcher suggest to teacher to use practice of tactil kinestetic in improving ability button keyboard.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkapkan tentang siswa tunagrahita kelas VIII di SLB Karya Padang yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat suatu keterampilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan proses model pembelajaran explicit instruction dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membuat herbarium kering. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (classrom action research) yang terdiri dari II siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian keterampilan membuat herbarium kering  melalui model explicit instruction terlihat meningkat.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this study was motivated by the problem that was found in children with hearing impairment grade VII at SMPLB who could not speak a word properly. When communicating, the words that had been spoken were not clear, misspelled and hardly understood by others. This research used experiment approach in single subject research (SSR) form using A-B-A design and data analysis technique that was used was analysis visual graphic. Scoring in this research was done by measure children ability percentage in speaking some available words.Based on the result of the research, at baseline  condition (A1) that had been done five times observation and child only could get 20% score. At intervention condition (B) observation had been done ten times and child’s score increased to 90%.At baseline  condition (A2) observation had done five times and the score increased become 93.33%. From data analysis, it could say that there was improvement from baseline  (A1) to intervention (B) and baseline  (A2). Small data overlap percentage was 40 so that concluded intervention effect by PECS had done well toward speaking skill for deaf child in speaking words. Because of that reason, research hypothesis was accepted. It means that PECS could improve deaf child speaking skill. The researcher suggested to school and teacher to use PECS as teaching media in improving speaking skill of deaf  child    Key word: PECS; Anak Tunarungu; Komunikasi; Kata

Abstract

The aim of the research is to improve low student’s multiple ability especially (6-9) by using jarimatika method. The reserch uses single subject research (SSR) with A-B design. The subject is the student who gets difficulties in studying X. The behavior’s target is the student' value in doing the task given. Condition A is Baseline, that is the first condition of student multiple ability before action given. In this baseline condition, he cannot do the task in big numbers (6-9). Condition B, on the other hand, is the  intervension, tiven. The technique of the collecting the data is done through written procedure directly. It is made in a form prepared. The the data is formulated in a chart. The result of the research shows that the student’s multiplication ability is increase after using jarimatika method. It can be see  from baseline fase (A) is done. The student gets (0) from 20 questions given, after giving intervantion (B). That is teaching multiple by using jarimatika method, student is  able to do all 20 questin correctly. So, it can be conclude that jarimatika method is effectife to improve low student’s multiplication ability. Therefore, it is suggested to applly jarimatika method.
