The research was motivated by problems that occur in SLB N 1 Padang that mentally retarded child X third graders were aged 17 years old who have difficulties in terms of self help especially toilet training in performing urination. This aim of this study was to improve the ability of toilet training for mentally retarded child going through a task analysis. The research methodology is Single Subject Research (SSR) a research design is A-B, which the design of study was comparing the ability of toilet training mentally retarded child X on the baseline and the intervention condition. The results were analyzed include the number of observations in the baseline condition as much as eight times and the intervention condition as many as fifty-two sessions per week. Results of this study aimed at the data analysis in conditions and the data analysis between conditions indicate a change in the ability of toilet training X to better direction, which is proven from the data obtained during the baseline condition, was only 37, 5% whereas the data obtained during the intervention conditions at fifty to fifty-two sessions the children's ability to toilet training was 100%.

The background of this study was the difference in perception or perspective teachers of children with special needs in elementary school Payakumbuh . The purpose of this research is to gain an overview of classroom teachers 'perceptions of children with special needs include classroom teachers' understanding of children with special needs , where children with special needs in schools , social interaction with children with special needs teachers , children with special needs social interaction with peers , and achievement studied children with special needs . The methodology in this research is descriptive quantitative approach . The sampling technique is the total sampling totaling 34 classroom teachers who are in school 5 Inclusion in the District of North Payakumbuh Payakumbuh . The technique of collecting data through a questionnaire using Likert scale and Guttman scales . Total number of question items were 53 items relating to how perceptions of classroom teachers of children with special needs . The collected data were analyzed using statistical formula percentage . The result showed 50.7 % of teachers understand overview of children with special needs , 58.2 % of teachers noticed the presence of children with special needs in schools , 58.8 % of children with special needs social interaction with teachers , 53.4 % of children with special needs do social interaction with peers , and 40.8 % of children experience a disruption in learning achievement . It can be concluded low achievement children with special needs in the learning process . It is suggested to teachers to pay more attention to children with special needs learn in the classroom and outside the classroom , in order to increase children's achievement and socialization of children do not have a problem .

Background research was conducted because of the constraints experienced articulation teacher in providing articulation training for Deaf students in SLB Negeri 01 Padang. It is caused due to lack of teacher training in the articulation. Besides the lack of special experts provide articulation exercises. Currently implementing articulation exercises in SLB 01 Padang implemented by the class teacher concerned. Based on this background, this study aims to gain an overview of the implementation of articulation training for deaf students in SLB Negeri 01 Padang, in terms of planning, implementation, evaluation, constraints, and effort that seeks to overcome these obstacles. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Subjects were articulation teachers, students, principals, classroom teachers and parents. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, interview and documentation. Then the data will be described with words or phrases that are separated by category for the conclusion.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi teknik yang digunakan guru selama ini dalam pembelajaran keterampilan belum mencapai hasil yang optimal. Anak tunagrahita ringan kelas VII/C SLB Bakti Padang dalam keterampilan merenda tidak mampu bros dari kaitan renda yang menyebabkan kesulitan bagi guru menentukan teknik yang tepat dan sesuai dengan kemampuan anak.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan anak tunagrahita dalam membuat bros dari kaitan renda dengan menggunakan teknik modelling. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang dilakukan dalam bentuk kolaborasi dengan guru kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu dua orang anak tunagrahita ringan kelas VII/C SLB Bakti Padang.Data dapat diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan tes, kemudian dianalisis secara teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Siklus I dilaksanakan sebanyak tujuh kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh anak diakhir siklus, anak P memperoleh nilai akhir 42,5%, sedangkan anak F memperoleh nilai akhir 30%. Pada siklus II dilaksanakan sebanyak tujuh kali pertemuan. Pada siklus II anak mengalami peningkatan dimana pada akhir pertemuan anak P mendapatkan nilai akhir 65%, sedangkan anak F mendapatkan nilai akhir 55%. Dari hasil penyajian dan analisis data dapat dibuktikan bahwa teknik modelling dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membuat bros dari kaitan renda. Dengan demikian, dapat disarankan kepada guru dan peneliti selanjutnya untuk dapat menggunakan teknik modelling dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengembangan diri bagi anak yang mengalami kemampuan dibawah rata-rata.

AbstractThe background of this research is the difficulty a child read the word vowels. Smart Reading method is a method of learning to read without spelling to children easy, fast, effective and fun. This study originated from the fact that school children with impaired Tunagrahita Lightweight stick skills. From the observation of children in late stick skills of the others, of paper taped to the child out of the pattern and cleanliness in the attached picture is very less. Children also experienced problems with the fine motor skills such as folding paper as great difficulty, difficulty buttoning clothes. . The purpose of this study was to determine whether the game collage of natural ingredients can improve stick skills mild mental retardation in children class II / C at SDN 35 (SDLB) Painan north. This study used experimental approach in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) with a research design using AB. The results of this study indicate that children stick skills Tunagrahita Lightweight X increases. Initially the children are able to stick to the green bean seeds eight to 12 times during the five observations. Having given intervention with collage game and eventually increased to 14 to 24 green beans consistently for eight observations, and be able to stick to fruit sago initially five to nine pieces of sago for four times after a given observation and intervention through the game and eventually rose to collage 10 to 18 pieces of sago consistently for eight observations. Thus, the game is a collage of natural material mild mental retardation in children can be effective to improve the skills of children in the stick, so the hypothesis put forward previously acceptable. This means that the game can raise the stick collage in children Tunagrahita Lightweight class II / C. Results from this study are expected to be useful for teachers and further research and can serve as guidelines to continue to use the game collages from natural materials to improve stick skills mild mental retardation in children future

Abstract : This research was conducted due to the prpblems found in Special Needs Education department indicating that students with Low Vision the fourth semester got difficulties to apply makeup appropriately. Bades on the result of the research, it was revealed that the ability of the students with low vision to apply makeup improved after Multi Methode applied. In the baseline condition (A) which consisted of seven meetings, the students score was 53%. In the intervention condition (B) that consisted of eleven meetings, the student ability to apply makeup improved from the eleventh meeting to the eighteenth meeting in which their score was 100%. From trhe result of data analysis, it was figured out that there was a changing on the tendency of direction which improved (+) from baseline condition to the intervention one. The persentage of the data overlapped was smll (54,5%) signifying that the use of Multi Methode gave better effect on the ability of the students with low vision to apply makeup. This result had shown that the use of Multi Methode could improve the ability of the studnets with low vision to apply makeup at campus of PLB FIP UNP. This study against the background of the problems that appear in children with hearing impairment X class II diSLB Ampek Angkek Agam, who have difficulty in calculating the reduction of two-digit numbers. This is evident from the beginning of the ability of children in working out the problems we are given the 10 questions. Methodology of the study is a single subject research (SSR) with the ABA research design, namely a reduction in the ability to compare X Deaf children at Baseline I condition (A1), the condition Intervention (B), and Baseline II (A2). Data analysis techniques are used based on the observed data in the form of Visual Analysis Of Graph. The results of this study aimed at analyzing data from a given reduction of 10 questions, the analysis of the conditions and data analysis among the conditions that indicate a change in the ability of a reduction in number as many as 10 questions on the child's X into a better direction. Obtained overlape percentage is 0% and 42%.

ABSTRACT TANTI HAYATI. 2015. "IncreasingReading Ability of the Students with Learning Disabilities to Read Words by Using Workword Method in Class IV of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang. Thesis. Special Education Departement of the Faculty of Education of State University of Padang.This research was derived from the problems found at SD N 10 Sungai Sapih Padang indicating that a student in class IV got difficulties to read words with affixation (prefix, suffix and prefix-sufix). The purpose of this research was to prove whether the use of Wordwork method could improve the ability of the student with learning disabilities to read words in class IV of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang.This was an experimental research which applied Single Subject Research (SSR) method and A-B-A design. The data were analyzed by using visual analysis og grafic. The variable was measured by using frequency technique.In the baseline condition (A1) that consisted of four meetings the student’s, in the intervention condition (B) that consisted of six meeting the student’s, and in the baseline condition (A2) that consisted of tree meetings the student’s. The percentage of data overlapped between baseline condition (A1) and intervention condition (B) was 0%., and between baseline condition (A2) and the intervention condition (B) was 66,7%. These results indicated that the samller the percentage of the data overlapped. The better the effect of the intervention. Based on these results, it was concluded that the use of Wordwork could increase the ability of the student with learning difficulties to read words in class IV of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang.Keyword: learning disability; Increas; reading ability; wordwork

Abstract: This research is motivated by problems that researchers in the field discovered that the child is a learning disability X grade III who have difficulty in determining the place value of numbers. This study aims to improve the ability to recognize vowels learning disability child grade III using the medium of Number Home. This research is a Single Subject Research (SSR). The design of this study A-B-A. In the baseline condition could only scored 0%, in the intervention condition (B) 100%, whereas in the baseline condition (A2) after intervention no longer given where the child is better able to determining the place value of numbers and child obtain a score of 100%.
