Abstract

Children mild mental retardation can’t make potato chips properly. Therefore, to facilitate learning for children used training methods. The purpose of this study that the ability of children to make potato chips increases. This study uses classroom action research carried out in collaboration with colleagues. Data were collected through observation techniques and testing, and then analyzed qualitatively. and quantitative. The results show the method can improve the skills training make potato chips mild mental retardation in children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan anak tunarungu di SLB Luak Nan Bungsu Payakumbuh dalam membuat layer cake variasi isi. Permasalahan yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran membuat layer cake variasi isi ialah selama proses pembelajaran guru menerangkan kepada anak dengan cara mencatatat di papan tulis, tanpa adanya demontrasi yang lebih diberikan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran membuat layer cake variasi isi, sehingga menyebabkan kemampuan anak dalam  membuat layer cake variasi isi masih rendah terlihat anak  belum terampil dalam  membuat layer cake variasi isi. Berdasarkan  masalah tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuktikkan bahwa model direct instruction dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membuat layer cake variasi isi bagi anak tunarungu. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian membuktikkan bahwa model pembelajaran direct instruction dapat meningkatkan keterampilan  membuat layer cake variasi isi bagi anak tunarungu di Slb Luak Nan Bungsu Payakumbuh.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems faced by children with Down syndrome in recognizing numbers. The approach used in this study is the experimental approach in the form of single-subject research (single-subject study), using the A-B design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Thus the hypothesis can be accepted. It means power point media effectively to improve the ability to know the rate for Down syndrome child in SLB Luki Padang. It can be concluded that media power point effectively to improve the ability to know the numbers 1 through 5 on Down syndrome.

Abstract

Basic understanding of low-grade teachers in special schools Asih Padang Discourse on thematic learning is still limited. Implementation of the thematic learning for children of low base class Tunagrahita in SLB Discourse Asih Padang is still not optimal, yet according to the pattern of thematic learning. The results obtained from studies that not all teachers fully carrying out thematic learning., So suggestions that may be recommended are: 1) principals greater control over their learning process and to involve teachers in a seminar or training in order to better understand the thematic learning, 2) teachers should be more creative in implement the thematic learning. 3) the school must complete the facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini berawal dari ditemukannya seorang anak autis x kelas IV di SLB Luak Nan Bungsu Payakumbuh, memiliki masalah dalam ketahanan duduk yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan duduk dalam proses pembelajaran.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dalam bentuk Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Penilaian penelitian ini adalah lamanya waktu (durasi) ketahanan duduk anak autis dalam proses pembelajaran. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan visual grafik.Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah mendengarkan musik klasik Mozart dapat meningkatkan ketahanan duduk anak autis.Pengamatan dilakukan dengan tigasesi yaitu pertama, baseline (A1) tanpa diberikan perlakuan dilakukan 5 kali pengamatan, ketahanan duduk anak pada kondisi ini terletak pada rentang 1-2 menit, sesi intervensi (B) diberi perlakuan dengan mendengarkan musik klasik Mozart dilakukan 8 kali pengamatan, waktu (durasi) ketahanan duduk anak pada kondisi ini terletak pada rentang 3-6 menit. Sesi baseline (A2) dilakukan 5 kali pengamatan dengan tidak lagi diberikan perlakuan, waktu (durasi) ketahanan duduk anak terletak pada rentang 2-4 menit.Persentase overlape pada kondisi baseline (A1) 0% dan kondisi baseline (A2) 0%.Dengan demikian bahwa hipotesis diterima, berarti lamanya waktu ketahanan duduk anak autis x kelas IV di SLB Luak Nan Bungsu Payakumbuh dapat meningkat. Kata Kunci: ketahanan duduk; musik klasik Mozart; anak autis;

Abstract

Abstract:   This study discusses a Blind X who often visit a party with a buffet-style system. The purpose of this study is to describe how the shape of imple- menting the procedure for buffet-style meals made blind when visiting party. This type of research is descriptive qualitative study approach case, which is an approach with a focus on the case in detailed and intensive, and uses real data on verbal and qualifications are theoretical. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and supported by photo documentation. While defending their subject is a visually impairedBased on the results of research carried out shows that a visually impaired X experiencing difficulty in eating buffet-style layout, because the barriers experienced. X visually impaired want to shape the implementation of the code of how to eat independently, from procedures take cutlery etiquette to take drinks. It is not performing well for the visually impaired difficult to adapt to the surroundings, cause a variety of visually impaired experienced constraints in dining etiquette, and not could do with a good dining etiquette. With all the difficulties experienced visually impaired is striving to overcome difficulties with a variety of disabilities, one disabled can be done visually impaired that is actively asking and asking for help to people in the area, so that it can perform the activity independently and good eating. Abstract

The researcher begins with the observation in Indonesian learning in class IV Elementary School 05 Bandar Buat Padang about reading comprehension, the student’s having difficulty in reding comprehension. Thus giving researchers an alternative cloze technique to improve reading comprehension ability for children with lerarning  difficulties. This research uses a approach Quasi Ekperiment with design Pre-test and post-test group design. The subjects were totaling four people. Collecting data in this research using a written essay test as many as 15 pieces. And the data obtained were analyzed using the Mann Whitney U test. These results Uhit> Utab at the 95% significance level or alpha = 0.05 obtained Utab = 0 at n = 4. Meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it is proved that the cloze technique effective for improving reading comprehension for children learning difficulties in class IV Elementary School 05 Bandar Buat Padang.

Abstract

The background of this research by the problems that’s research find in SDN 08 Padang Besi. Kids learning dissabiities who have not been able o understand the concept of simple fraction, could not say, show and write fraction, the numerator and denominator do no know, have not been able to match fractions fractional image, have not been able to create and image fractions. Based on this research aim to improve children’s ability to understand the concept of simple fractions by using puzzle Jenis Media used was an experimental study in a single subject research with this study is the cild A-B-A. subject dissabilitis a child class 3 SD. Data learning thrd grade obtained by using test and observation, data analisis is a visual analysis of graphic data obtained from observation on the condition of A- B – A2. Condisi  baseline before granted intervention with eight sessions, A = 0%, the intervention condition 12 meetings, B= 90 %, and in the baseline condition after not using the media puzzle five meetings, A= 100 %. Result of the study that the media puzzle is effective in improving the ability to know the simple concept of fractions for kids learning disabilities in SDN 08 Padang Besi. Researchchers suggest to the teacher that the media puzzle used as an alternative in learning mathematic, especially in learnin recognize simple fractions.

Abstract

This reseach is base on the problem that happened on trap student grat DI/B SLB Amal Bakti who have difficulties in accounting step by step. from the result of a student who is less in acounting step by step since in acounting a student is not fluent, because the number that she says is not sincronize with the number itself. Beside  that she is easy to be bored. This research uses experiment aproach in the form of Single Subjek Research  (SSR) by the design A –B. The subject of this reseach are the deaf students. The result of this research show us that the ability of counting of deaf increase. By baseline condition, the X deaf can count only once 10 % but when it is in intervention condition, they can count step by step 8 times (80 %), this situation happened on the sixth and seventh and also eight of observation based on the research can be conclude that snake ladder game can increas the ability of deaf students at SLB Amal Bakti Sicincin. From this research , if will have function for the students, teachers, parent and research herself. And then it can be have to continue this game to improve the ability of the deaf in counting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan anak tunagrahita ringan X yang duduk di kelas D.C1 di SLB Sabiluna Pariaman yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengenal lambang bilangan 1 sampai 10. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti berupaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan  dalam mengenal lambang bilangan 1 sampai 10  melalui permainan ulat angka.Jenis penelitian yang peneliti lakukan adalah Eksperimen dalam bentuk Single Subject Research dengan desain A-B-A.Penilaian penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan presentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan anak tunagrahita ringan dalam mengenal lambang bilangan 1 sampai 10 meningkat setelah diberikan permainan ulat angka. Hal ini terbukti ketika pengamatan sebanyak tujuh kali dengan data 29,54% pada kondisi awal (A1), kondisi intervensi (B) dilakukan sebanyak sepuluh kali dengan data 90,90%, kondisi baseline (A2) dilakukan sebanyak enam dengan data 90,90%, dalam kemampuan anak mengenal lambang bilangan 1 sampai 10. Hasil analisis dalam kondisi dan antar kondisi menunjukkan estimasi kecenderungan arah, kecenderungan kestabilan, jejak data dan tingkat perubahan yang meningkat positif.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan permainan ulat angka efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1 sampai 10pada anak tunagrahita ringan. Disarankan guru dapat menggunakan permainan ulat angka dalam kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1 sampai 10.
