Abstract

This research was initiated by a student with visual impairment named X studying at MAN 2 Payakumbuh. X had totally visual impairment since he was born. Unfortunately, during his study, he was never accompanied by a Special Companion Teacher. In addition, none of the teachers teaching in the school had training on special education, so that the teachers did not know the strategies used to teach the students with visual impairment. Nevertheless, X was still able to gain a proud achievement. He won several competitions in Mathematics and went to national level.                This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through observation, interview and documentation study. The subject of the research was a student with visual impairment in class XII Agama 2.                The results of the research revealed that the ability of X during Mathematics learning process was very good. To learn, he maximized his auditory ability and he did not arrange special schedule for study. While studying in the classroom, there was no special service or certain media used to help X. He took note on important materials by using his own words. Furthermore, he had additional time to learn at school. At home, X reviewed the learning materials he had learnt by reading his note-book, listening to the recorded materials given by the teacher, listening to his friends reading the textbooks, and search for the materials in internet. In the examination, X did not take the exam together with his friends, instead, he took the test alone and listened to the teacher reading the test items. Abstract

This study originated from the problems of students with hearing impairment grade D III B do not understand the concept of the division of numbers, from the results of tests that researchers do, of the 10 questions are given only two numbers that are answered correctly, it rose not from the ideas of his own but due to chance alone original answer is correct, when the next time it was given back to the matter of students' answers had been right to be wrong, and a student again, learning should have mastered the basic division of numbers in the class D II. Therefore, researchers interested in improving deaf children's ability to understand the concept of sharing through the use of original media candy. This type of study is classroom action research conducted in collaboration with colleagues or classroom teacher. The subject of this study is a class D III B, two children with hearing impairment (KL, and RH). The study was performed in one cycle during the six sessions. Data were collected through observation, and tests given to children. The results showed the ability of children with hearing impairment to understand the concept of division is progressing by using the original media sugars in learning activities. The final results obtained by KL gain (80%), and RH obtained (100%). It can be concluded that the use of original media sugars can increase the ability of children with hearing impairment to understand the concept of division, it is advisable for teachers to be able to use the original media of candy to increase understanding of children in the division.

Abstract

Abstrak: This research was due to the fact that there were some problems found at elementary schools in Kecamatan Payakumbuh Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. From the preliminary observation at two elementary schools in Kecamatan Payakumbuh, it was found that every year, there were always a number of students who were not qualified to continue to the next grade. Unfortunately, the learning problems that the students had were yet identified by the homeroom teachers as well as the special need education teachers. As a result, the services done by teachers at schools were not directed to help those students yet. Based on those premilinary research findings, this research was done to find out the prevalence of students with learning disability in order to make the teachers services more directed. The result of research analysis showed that from 647 students, 151 of them (23,3%) were having the learning disability in reading, 295 of them (45,6%) were having the learning disability in writing, and 83 (12,8%) were having the learning disability in calcuting. Keywords; Prevalence, learning disability.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan anak cerebral pasy tipe spastik kelas dasar II di SLB Hikmah Reformasi Padang yang mengalami masalah pada kemampuan motorik halusnya yang disebabkan oleh kekejangan serta kekakuan pada tanganya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan efektifitas media papan alur dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus bagi anak cerebral palsy tipe spastik.. Penelitian menggunakan metode Single Subject Research (SSR), dengan disain A-B-A dan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis visual grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, kemampuan motorik halus anak cerebral palsy meningkat. Kata-kata kunci: papan alur; kemampuan; motorik halus; Cerebral Palsy

Abstract

Abstract This research background in the presence of a child with autism X tantrums are still problematic in the process of learning (children often have tantrums in the study). Based on this research aims to reduce tantrum behavior  that children learn best, and see if the exercise ball games can reduce tantrum behavior. This study uses a single sabject research (SSR) with the AB design. Subjects were children with autism X in SLB Fan Redha padang. Assessment in this study is consistent and measured the length of children do not have tantrums before and after treated with ball play exercises presented in the form of duration. These results indicate that the behavior of children with autism tantrums X decreases, initially at baseline conditions conducted in eight sessions children have tantrums for a few minutes, on the condition that intervention sessions were 12 child tantrum behavior can be reduced so that in a few minutes the child has a tantrum and further reduced from second to second child has a tantrum. Data was colleted using a test that the child was asked to do the exercises play ball. Trus the proven formula that issues raised missed playing football practice effective ways to reduce tantrum behavior for children with autism  X in Fan Redha Padang. The results in children autism X playing ball in can reduce tantrum behavior, the research suggest the teacher to use the execise ball to play in reducing tantrums for future learning. Abstract

Pengguna implan koklea pada anak tunarungu haruslah dimanfaatkan sebagai mana mestinya, yaitu dapat menguasai kosakata sebagai alat untuk berkomunikasi. Melalui pemberian media pembelajaran video komunikasi total diharapkan penguasaan koskata anak meningkat.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang berbentuk Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain garfik A-B-A. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang anak tunarungu berjenis kelamin laki-laki yang duduk di kelas II SDLB. Data diukur menggunakan persentase untuk melihat anak dapat mengucapkan kata benda. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung. Penelitian ini dianalisis dalam bentuk penyajian analisis visual dan grafik.

Abstract

Abstract : The research is begin from implementation of saints subject in SLB YPPLB Padang. Generally, when studying saints subject many media can be used as conveys of material what the want to inform, that time employing of media or the helping of instrument  its be less to used with the result child when implementation of saints subject  being unattractive and the desirability of child to knowing that material cant visible on saints subject. With knowing why child with deaf in SLB YPPLB Padang especially on the class VI who less pay attentions teachers when conveying saints subject, so researcher doing research to make formula this problem that is how implementations of saints subject for child with deaf class VI on SLB YPPLB padang. Abstract

It’s using experiment approach in formed single subject research (SSR) with design A-B. This research to mean sure how many the correct answer student in reading prefix m in that prepared number form. The result of this research show that ability Tunagrahita RK in reading prefix m improve. The first condition baseline the doing for six days research. The first and the second meeting he can not read correctly and the third until six meeting he can read one prefix m .For changing levels are from seven and eight meeting he can read several prefix m, and the elevent  and the twelve meeting he can read all of the prefix in word. Analyzed result show that :  Variable amount  that can be changed is one. That is ability student in reading prefix m ,percentage overlap is 0%,It is means there are improving to know prefix m  for used it in class D III at SLB Lubuk Kilangan Padang, For that it is suggested for teacher using platisn playing for improving reading prefix m  with using platisin playing for tunagrahita student.

Abstract

AbstractPenelitian ini di latar belakangi permasalahan yang terjadi pada siswa tunanetra di SLB Wacana Asih Padang yang mengalami kesulitan dalam melaksanakan tatacara shalat yang tepat.Dari hasil pengamatan terhadap tatacara shalat para siswa, masih banyak gerakan- gerakan shalat yang belum tepat dan sesuai dengan ketentuan.Maka dari itu peneliti berupaya membantu untuk meningkatkan pelaksanaan tatacara shalat dengan memberikan perlakuan melalui metode kinestetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah metode kinestetik ini dapat meningkatkan pelaksanaan tatacara shalat siswa tunanetra.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperiment dalam bentuk single subject research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A dan selanjutnya analisis data penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis visual grafik. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa tunanetra kelas V. Dalam penelitian ini, pengumpulan data siswa dilakukan melalui tes perbuatan dengan cara cek list, dimana dalam hal ini siswa diminta mempraktekkan gerakan shalat yang sudah dia pahami. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa baseline pertama menunjukkan kecenderungan arah stabil dengan sedikit peningkatan setelah diberikan intervensi selama delapan kali dengan mean level 58,57. Selanjutnya, setelah dilakukan intervensi sembilan kali dengan mean level66,77 analisis data menunjukkan kecenderungan arah meningkat dan perubahan data membaik. Berikutnya, hasil analisis data pada baseline kedua juga menunjukkan kecenderungan arah meningkat setelah dilakukan intervensi selama lima kali. Target behaviour memiliki overlapedata 44,44%. Disimpulkan bahwa metode kinestetik dapat meningkatkan pelaksanaan tatacara shalat siswa tunanetra. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian inis hendaknya guru menciptakan strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pelaksanaan tatacara shalat bagi siswa tunaneta Kata kunci: Pelaksanaan tatacara shalat, Metode kinestetik, Siswa tunanetra

Abstract

Abstrack : Penelitian ini membahas tentang  meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulan dengan metode Analisis Glass pada anak kesulitan belajar X di SD Negeri 04 Terandam Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan metode Analisis Glass dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan bagi anak kesulitan belajar  kelas 1 di SD Negeri 04 Terandam Padang. Subjek penelitian adalah satu orang anak berkesulitan belajar yang duduk di kelas 1. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Single Subject Design yaitu metode penelitian yang melihat arah kecenderungan grafik yang membandingkan antara kondisi baseline dengan kondisi treatment. Prosedur perekaman data dengan cara pengamatan secara langsung, data direkam melalui prosedur pencatatan kejadian (Event Recording) yaitu memberi tanda ceklist pada sejumlah kata yang dibaca benar pada lembaran kerja siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berdasarkan pengamatan data dalam bentuk Visual Analysis of Grafik. Kata-kata kunci : Metode Analisis Glass; Anak Kesulitan Belajar
