Abstract

Efforts to enhance understanding through media vowels Tunagrahita Puzzles for children in special-ed medium classes in SLB Kartini Batam. This study originated from a concern for children Tunagrahita were to be trained how to read. The study is motivated from the fact that occur in school children are not able to read. This research aims to improve understanding of the child Tunagrahita vowels were. This study used a qualitative approach in research methodology class action (PTK). Approach to action research conducted within two (2) cycles. Cycle I read through the media shows the implementation of the puzzle has been no improvement. However, motivation and self-confidence is not in accordance with what is expected. On the implementation of the second cycle students need to be supervised and demonstrated ways a good read. Researchers have not been able to guide students in implementing reading. From the results of this study can be completed given that the action in the second cycle was obtained increased draft letter Tunagrahita child is in the letter of understanding training activities should be routine, so hopefully Tunagrahita children were able to understand the concept of a shared or private letters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak autis melalui keterampilan shibori. Permasalahan yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran keterampilan di SLB Autisma YPPA Padang adalah siswa yang mengalami hambatan pada kemampuan motorik halusnya seperti kesulitan dalam mengikat, menulis, melipat, menggunting dan lain-lain, juga pembelajaran yang diberikan guru tentang shibori kurang bervariasi dikarenakan masih minimnya pengetahuan guru tentang shibori. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil guntingan anak yang tidak rapi, hasil lipatan tidak simetris,hasil ikatan tidak kuat dan kemampuan anak masih rendah dalam keterampilan membuat shibori. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuktikan bahwa keterampilan shibori dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus untuk anak autis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa keterampilan shibori dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus bagi anak autis di SLB Autisma YPPA Padang.

Abstract

Increasing accuracy using media pitching boccedengan steering board on down syndrome child. In Children Grahita tuna are Class I SDLB Painan This research is motivated by problems that appear in the field two JV kids who are learning Tunagrahita Moderate exercise is still a lot of obstacles. Of the two students who take the sport learning about the game of bocce ball turns out they have not been able to throw the ball bocce bocce court dengna multiply in the tersedia.Penelitian is removed using action research methods class (Classroom Action Research) conducted in collaboration with colleagues. Data was collected through observation techniques, and test, then analyzed qualitatively and kuantitatifHasil research shows that media can help students board directors in directing tosses a bocce ball well this is done through two cycles. There are 4 respectively for the first cycle and for the second cycle that begins with the initial activities, core activities and weekend activities showed good success. Assessment results (preliminary tests) the ability of AR (10%), and WN (10%). In the first cycle, the AR scored average (80%), NW gets the value (100%), and the second cycle using the straight-shaped directional board AR gets average value (100%) and the NW as well (00%) This shows an increase and improvement in success after held a bocce ball toss game. therefore advised to teachers in teaching sports to children Tunagrahita looking better assisted to use tools / media in order to support the expected success rate can be achieved with good, and the children were able to Tunagrahita independently with the accomplishments he achieved through talent and continuous training so as to obtain results that can help them in the future.

Abstract

The research is motivated in learning the skills yet lightweight SMPLB mental retardation children eighth grade that produce handicrafts that have Nili sell crafts kids because there is no viable market when the unit level curriculum  SDLB sixth grade education in the subject of art, culture and skills of the semester II the child should have been able to weave a nest diamond but in fact to date the child is not yet able to weave nests diamond even been given a variety of learning methods, but still lackluster and lazy children in learning. This might be due to the lack of provision of reinforcement from teachers in making reinforcement learning is used has not been able to improve the skills of their web ketupat mild mental retardation in children SMPLB Class VIII. This study aims to improve the skills of their web ketupat mild mental retardation in children through the eighth grade SMPLB Token Economy Technique.Type of research is a class act (classroom action research) is done in the form of collaboration with classroom teachers in four subjects, namely children mild mental retardation SMPLB Perwari SLB class VIII in Padang.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by problem that appear in the field, three children with the deaf on grade D IV/B in SLB N Center Payakumbuh who have the problem to understanding the weight concept on Mathematic lesson. It has seen children capability to understanding weight concept like S, F, and DN and can’t to answer it on the test. Under these conditions, this study aims to demonstrate the use of the puzzle box media. The methodology of this research is Classroom Action Research by collaborated with friend to be an observer. Results of this study indicate that the media puzzle box can be raised the understanding of children with deaf problem to know the weight concept, like S, F, DN. Keyword         : deaf children, weight concept, puzzle box media

Abstract

Abstrak The background of this research is found by the writer ini class VII Junior High School SLB A Kota Payakumbuh. Where the student not able to speech English because the English vocabulary authority than to less. On the research, researcher used pre experimental design with kind one group pretest – posttest design, where the subject of research does a pretest before give a treatment and posttest after give a treatment with a Total Physical Response method. Furthermore the value of the activity pre-test and post-test were processed and compared by Mann Whitney U test. Results of this study indicate that the Total Physical Response method has improve the english vocabulary authority for blind student in class VII SLB A Kota Payakumbuh.   Kata Kunci: Siswa Tunanetra; Penguasaan Kosakata; Metode Total Physical Response

Abstract

This research originated from observation and interview research with sixth grade teacher, that there are 3 people in class VI students who have difficulty in mastering the subject matter of Religion, was saturated with religious material that is too much and just be taught by lecture so that students have difficulty in remembering material taught. Therefore the action through singing approach. This study aims to improve the process of learning about the Apostle Ulul Religion Azmi, so as to improve students' ability to recognize the apostle ulul azmi in class VI SLB Perwari Padang. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Research data in the form of information about the process obtained from the observations, the results of tests of learning and discussion process. Source of data is the process through the implementation of religious learning in the students' approach to singing in class VI tunagrahita SLB Perwari Padang. Research subjects consisted of sixth grade students tunagrahita SLB Perwari Padang, which consists of 3 people, all male sex. Research procedures performed through 4 phases: 1) planning 2) implementation, 3) observations, 4) reflection. From the research done shows that the average ability of students to write down the name and the name of the apostle ulul azmi and nature in the first cycle with a percentage of 50% and the second cycle has reached 100%. The conclusion of this research is singing approach can improve the ability to know the apostle ulul azmi on student mental retardation.

Abstract

Permasalah ini dilatar belakangi ditemukan di SLB Amal Bhakti Sicincin pada anak tunarungu kelas VIII mengalami kesulitan menganal kata benda.Dalam mengajar guru menggunakan metode ceramah dan media langsung, dengan menunjuk benda nyata dan menanyakan nama benda yang ditunjuk, lalu meminta siswa menjawab dengan menuliskannya, terlihat siswa tidak bisa menuliskan nama benda yang ditunjuk, kemudian saat guru memberikan perintah kepada siswa untuk mengambilkan benda, siswa hanya duduk diam di kursi dan berkata tidak tau. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal kata benda hidup dan benda mati yang ada dilingkungan sekolah  melalui model pembelajaran Scramble  bagi anak tunarungu kelas VIII.. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research) terdiri dari II siklus, delapan kali pertemuan yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian serta data yang diperoleh dari penelitian mengingkatkan kemampuan mengenal kata benda hidup dan benda mati yang ada dilingkungan sekolah melalui model pembelajaran scramble terlihat meningkat.Adapun hasil yang didapatkan SE dalam mengenal kata benda dari sebelum diberi perlakuan sampai setelah diberi perlakuan yaitu 25%, 73%, dan 92%. Berdasarkan data diatas, kesimpulan dari kemampuan mengenal kata benda melalui model pembelajaran Scramble mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.

Abstract

This research is motivated when the researcher doing some preliminary study in SLB N Sungai Penuh. This school has much concerns on cosmetology skills applied for deaf children at SMPLB and SMALB. This research becomes more interesting since the researcher has got more informations about it. The children have generated many achievements on cosmetology since this skill being applied at school. This phenomenon raises the interest to do in depth-research about the implementation of cosmetology skills on deaf children in SLB N Sungai Penuh.

Abstract

The reseatch is starting from obsevation, where researcher found when realize observation. Researcher found an autis child get obstacle in take hold of pencil. This research have as aim to increase child ability in hold pencil with good and right by means of pry up flestisin technique.  This research use experiment approach in from Single Subject Research (SSR), with use A-B desian. Subject is this research is an autis child. The yield of the research shawed, if talent, if talent of autis child hold a pencil is rise although stages. In this baseline condition (A) the child can do one talent that is write distance between book and eye 25-30cm. at baseline condition in the frist day till 5th days, talented of child across that is 30%. At intervensi condition (B) straight rise from 35% till 65%. Suggestion for teacher can use pry up technique to increase how to hold pencil for autis child.
