Abstract

Abstrak: The study exposed the problem found by researcher in the SLB N 1 Padang, a mental retardation child who had probelms on his fine motor in holding the stationery. This research aimed to prove whwther playing play Dough is effective to improve fine motor in holding stationery for mild mental retardation child at V SLB Land class 1 Padang This research used experimental approach in the form of single subject research(SSR), used the design of the A-B-A and the data analysis techniques used visual analysis charts. The conclusion was plasying Play Dough was effective to improve fine motor for mild mental retardation child. Key Word: Playing Play Dough; Fine Motor; Mental Retardation Child.

Abstract

This research background by the problems that researchers find in Home Schooling Padang Tiji, an autistic child who was eight years old, still has not been able to write the beginning, especially the vowels (a, i, u, e, o). This research Single Subject Research approach, the ABA design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Measurement variables using the percentage of each vowel can be written children properly. Observations made with the first three sessions, the session before being given intervention baseline (A1) performed seven times of observation, the percentage of vowels writing skills in this condition lies in the range of 0%, and 20% is at the confluence of unity, kadua third, fifth, sixth and seventh day the child can not be any writing beginning in vowels, but at a meeting of the four children to write a single vowel is the letter "i". Second, the intervention sessions (B) by using the Sensory Integration observations were made as much as ten times, the percentage of children beginning writing skills in this condition lies in the range of 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% of children are able to write the vowels (a, i , u, o). Third session baseline (A2) is done five times of observation, the results obtained in the child's ability to write the beginning of the increase that is in the range of 90% which earlier children can write letters (a, i, u, o) to 100%. Based on these results it can be concluded Sensory Integration methods are effective in improving writing skills for children beginning at Autism Home Schooling Padang Tiji.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of making wedding dowry from paper money through discovery learning. Problems that occur in the process of learning skills at SLB Perwari Padang are children who have difficulty in making skills that will later be useful for their future lives. Besides that this skill was also competed in the FLS2N (National Student Art Competition Festival) competition. Learning given by the teacher about marriage dowry from paper money is less varied and causes children to be less interested in making these skills, due to the lack of teacher knowledge about marriage dowry skills from paper money. Based on these problems, this study was conducted to prove that discovery learning learning can improve the ability to make wedding dowry from paper money in deaf children. in this study, classroom action research was used in two cycles. The results of this study prove that discovery learning learning can improve the skills of making marriage wages from banknotes in deaf class IX students at Perwari Padang.

Abstract

The Background of this research is found a child who has difficulties in  learning in 4th class of Elementary school. This child can’t to break the exercise of the arithmetic operations of multiplication and also can’t solve the multiplication of units and tens. In order to increasing ability of arithmetic multiplication operation by using kotakmatika media in mathematics lesson.   This research using Single Subject Research method with A-B-A design. The datas about ability of multiplication of the children is written. Technical analysis of the data used Visual Analysis of Graphs. Results were analyzed include the number of observations in the baseline condition (A-1) 5 times, intervention (B) 8 times, baseline (A-2) 4 times. The results showed that kotakmatika media can enhance child’s ability significantly. It can be seen from the analysis that the trend began to increased. At baseline conditions (A-1) children are only able to answer the multiplication 6 to 10 of 20 about 30% correctly . After being given the treatment by the media of kotakmatika,  child can answer questions about the multiplication correctly abouts 80% of the 20 questions that exist. Besides the intervention is stopped, then returned to kebaseline (A-2) in this condition the child is able to answer questions about the multiplication of 80% of the 20 questions which exist. This shows that the media kotakmatika can improve arithmetic operations of multiplication 6 to 10  in child learning disabilities. Based on data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that through media kotakmatika can improve learning difficulties in child multiplication at fourth class. Therefore, it is suggested that in arith matic of the  teacher to use kotakmatika media can improve multiplication ability in child ability.

Abstract

This study, using experimental approaches in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR). As the subject is one child mild mental retardation. Assessment conducted in this study, consistent in how children actually answer the question of the ability of existing early childhood. This study first examines the baseline condition, children have the ability to read, then given intervention by using the flipchart Having given intervention, researchers measured back reading skills possessed noun child. Data obtained through direct observation, and analysis of data. Data analysis in this research is the data visually in the form of graphs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan. Seorang anak yang duduk di kelas III SD mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun kata. Terlihat ketika anak keliru dalam menyusun kata perkata menjadi kalimat sederhana yang diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa permainan bahasa rantai kata dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun kata anak.Jenis penelitian menggunakan Eksperimen dengan metode Single Subject Research (SSR), dengan desain A-B dan teknis analisis datanya visual grafik. Penilaian pada penelitian ini dengan cara mentally data yang ditulis dengan tepat. Pengukuran variabelnya dengan menggunakan frekuensi.Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa kemampuan menyusun kata anak berkesulitan belajar kelas III SDS Al-Azhar Bukttinggi, mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan intervensi menggunakan permainan bahasa rantai kata. Pada kondisi baseline yang dilakukan selama delapan kali pertemuan, frekuensi keberhasilan mencapai angka lima. Pada kondisi intervensi menggunakan permainan bahasa rantai kata, yang dilakukan selama delapan kali pertemuan frekuensi keberhasilan anak dalam menjawab soal mencapai angka sepuluh, anak mampu mempertahankan kemampuan menulis permulaan dengan memperoleh frekuensi keberhasilan mencapai angka sepuluh. Dengan demikian rumusan masalah yang dikemukakan terjawab bahwa permainan bahasa rantai kata dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun kata anak berkesulitan belajar.Kata kunci: Menyusun kata, anak berkesulitan belajar dan permainan bahasa rantai kata

Abstract

Abstrack: This research was conducted as a student with totally hearing impairment got obstacles to make sequin embroidery. He could get the thread into the needle hole, sewed straightly with the help of the line, and cut the thread. But he had not been able yet to tie the ends of the thread, sewed straightly without a pattern and without the help of sequins, sewed an archway with pattern and without patterns, sewed archway with the help of sequins and without sequins, smoothed the stitching, tied the ends of the thread after stitching is complete, and the results are not neat. This was a single subject research which used A-B-A design. The baseline condition (A1) was the student’s previously ability in making sequin embroidery. This session consisted of seven observations. In the intervention condition (B), a treatment through which a ram was used, thirteen observations were done and the data was 100%. In the baseline condition (A2), the treatment was no longer given. This session consisted of sixteen observations and the data was 100%. The result of data analysis in and inter-condition showed that the estimation of way tendency, the stability tendency, data record, and the level of changes improved positively. The number of the data overlapped was 7,7%. Hence, it was concluded that the use of ram was effective to help the student with hearing impairment in making sequin embroidery. It was suggested to the school to apply this media to make useful for hearing impairment students. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Sulam Payet, Ram, Anak Tunarungu.

Abstract

This study begins with a young child encountered learning disabilities who are not familiar with the concept of numbers. From my observation, children do not know the shape of the 1 - 10. Research aims to improve the ability to know the concept of numbers in children learning disabilities through media box numbers. This study uses ABA design in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR). Results of this study showed the box number media can improve the ability to know the concept of numbers for children first grade learning disabilities in SDN. 18 Koto Luar Padang.

Abstract

This research is backgrounded by a problem was found with a kid in physical disability poliomyelitic type in first class of 1 C D1 has abnormalities in soft motor. After setting  an assessment knowing that kid could not able in writing and hold a pen rightly. The reseacher tried to help the kid to increase ability of soft motoric through folding origami paper. This research aim to increase ability of soft motor in physical disability kid of poliomyelity type of 1C D1 class in SLB Fan Redha Padang. Using Single Subject Research (SSR) type with A-B design. Where A condition was baseline with beginning kid ability in soft motor. Before giving treatment B condition was intervention where kid was given a treatment through folding origami paper. Result of this research looked that ability of soft motor of disability kid of poliomyelity type in 1C D1 class of Fan Redha Padang increase after given intervention through fold the origami paper. At baseline condition done during six times observasion the kid did not do anything ordred by researcher to that the kid had 0% score. At intervention condition done during fifteen time observation in kid ability. With at beginning increasing and then decline and increase more so that at the and meeting and the kid had highest score at 100%. Persentage of overlape at baseline condition (A) with condition in 0%. So  this research proved that formula of the problem as shown before had answered that folding origami paper. Can increare ability of soft motor in physical disability kid poliomyelitis type X 1C D1 class at SLB Fan Redha Padang. Researcher suggest to the teachers to use origami paper in increasing kid soft motor.

Abstract

This research aim to to: 1) describe the learning process of media use a ruler in learning addition and subtraction up to 30, and 2) Prove that if a ruler media can improve learning outcomes mathematical addition and subtraction up to 30 for children in mental retardation were D.3 Class SLB Center Payakumbuh. The results showed that 1) the learning process of addition and subtraction by using the ruler done in two cycles. First cycle with seven meetings and the second cycle with eight meetings. Each cycle begins with the planning, implementation (initial activity, core and end), observation, and analysis and reflection. 2) Learning outcomes seen no increase in capacity addition and subtraction by using the ruler children. It is evident from the study of children: when asessmen children only scored one (1). After being given a lesson to the media a ruler in the first cycle of learning outcomes of children to the sum to 30 for the ID and the RN has a maximum value (10) and FR with a value of (9). Cycle II learning subtraction with media ID ruler scored (9), Rn and FR earned value (8) of the 10 questions adds a one-time saving techniques tested. Thus, it can be suggested at the school, teachers and researchers can use the media next to a ruler in addition and subtraction up to 30.
