Abstract

This research background of differences in perception or perspective teachers of children who have behavioral disorders in the learning process at Junior High School 24 in Padang. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of teachers' perceptions of children who have behavioral disorders behavioral disorder include the presence of children in school, social interaction with the teacher's behavior, social interaction with peers and learning achievement of children behavioral disorders. The methodology of this research is descriptive quantitative approach. From the results of this study indicated that most of the teachers noticed the presence, interaction and interpretation of behavior in children at Junior High School 24 in Padang.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the problems found in SLB Perwari Padang in class IV mentally retarded children. Of the two students experiencing problems in wearing buttoned clothes. In learning the teacher does the lecture method. To overcome this, researchers aim to improve the skills of wearing buttoned clothes to students through media models. The research method used is classroom action research consisting of II cycles. Each cycle consists of four meetings. The cycle is carried out in several stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques are carried out, namely observation, documentation, and tests. The results of the study showed an increase in independence using buttoned clothes using media models for mild mentally retarded children. The results of the initial AL 30% ability test, Cycle I 49%, Cycle II 78%. Initial ability of JF 40%, Cycle I 75%, Cycle II 83%. It is recommended for the next teacher and researcher to use media models to improve skills using buttoned clothes for mild mentally retarded children.

Learning Assessment for the Students with Spesial Needs at Inclusive School SDN 01 Limau Manis ( a Case Study in Class I, II, and IV of SD Negeri 01 Limau Manis Kecamatan Pauh, Sumatera Barat. Thesis. Special Education Department of the Education of State University of Padang. This research was derived from the problems founds on learning assessment for the students with special needs in class I, II, and IV of SD N 01 Limau manis. In completing the tasks assigned, the students’ average score was always below the Minimum Standard Score. Meanwhile their final scores in the learning report did not indicate that they had learning problems as their average score was above the Minimum Standard Score. Therefore, this research was intended to reveal the learning assessment for the students with special needs in inclusive school. This research applied case study approach emphasizing on the criteria of learning assessment for the students with special need, the process of learning assessment for the students with special needs in inclusive school, the problems found in conducting learning assessment for the students with special needs, and the efforts done to overcome the problems found in conducting learning assessment for the students with special needs. The subject of the research was the teachers teaching in class I, II and IV of SD N 01 Limau Manis. The data were collected through observation and interview. The results of the research indicated that in conducting learning assessment, the teachers had lack of understanding on learning assessment for the students with special needs, and there were several aspects that had not been run as they should be. Therefore, it was suggested to the teachers to enhance their knowledge about learning assessment for the students with special needs. Key Terms: Learning Assessment, Students With Special Needs, Inclusive Education

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: 1) Know the process of learning the concept of number 1 to number 10 in the media tree. 2) Prove that if the number of media use trees to improve the ability to know the concept of numbers 1 to 10 on a class II mild mental retardation children in Al-Ishlaah Sebereng Padang. This type of research is a class act (classroom action research) that takes the form of collaboration with colleagues at two research subjects, namely children D.II. grade mild mental retardation. Data obtained through observation and tests. Then analyzed qualitatively quantitatively. The results showed that 1) the process of learning the concept of number 1 to number 10 in the media tree done in two cycles. 2) The study showed that: Cycle I know the concept of numbers (reading, naming and sorting) numbers from 1 to 10 value RN (100) and AT (93.3). While the current assessment value of RN (40) and AT (43.3). Cycle II familiar concept of numbers (to match the number of objects and write) numbers from 1 to 10 value RN (90) and AT (80). While the current assessment value of RN (10) and AT (5). It can be concluded that, overall, an increase in the ability of the concept of numbers from 1 to 10 children D.II grade mild mental retardation in SLB Al-Ishlaah Seberang Padang through the media tree numbers. Suggested schools, teachers and researchers to use the next number in the media tree membelajarkan tunagrahita child is in familiar concept of numbers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang ditemukan di SLB Luak Nan Bungsu Payakumbuh pada kelas XI, dimana terdapat 2 orang anak tunarungu sedang yang mengalami permasalahan pada pembelajaran keterampilan life skil menghias kue berkarakter. pada saat pembelajaran anak kurang berpartisipasi dan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, dikarenakan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru kurang bervariasi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti tertarik menggunakan mtode tutorial untuk mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran keterampilan life skill menghias kue berkarakter. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa metode tutorial dapat meningkatkan keterampilan life skill menghias kue berkarakter di kelas XI  SLB Luak Nan Bungsu Payakumbuh

Abstract

The research was background by the problems that researchers found that a child in third grade elementary school of SDN 20 Padang Binuang. Children have difficulty in reading. The type of research is experimental research in the form of single subject reseach (SSR) using ABA design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Result of this study show that reading skills of children with reading difficulties increase by scrabble game. It is recommended that teachers use the scrabble game in teaching children to read.

Abstract

Issues raised in this study is the implementation of Inclusion in State Primary School Feeding Sinayan Payakumbuh 14, to reveal how the implementation of inclusion in the primary schools feeding 14 Sinayan Payakumbuh, which discusses how to identify children who will attend SDN 14 Feed Sinayan Payakumbuh, curriculum that is in use school , responsibilities and roles of teachers and facilities in schools. The results showed that the implementation of inclusion in the SDN 14 was not happened with the maximum, because the implementation of the identification of GPK only do the majority of children, the curriculum is in use KTSP, GPK provides services only in class 1 only and do not use the program, PPI. Classroom teachers to teach without the use of media and just use the lecture method, lesson plans made ​​by the classroom teacher is issued if there is a survey of department and principals, the local infrastructure space so dense that in a bench seat 4 and 3 children, spatial class is irregular, ABK seat separated from her friends and learning is not based on the program made ​​by the teacher. Based on the conclusipons and results of research that the implementation of inclusion in the SDN 14 is not maximized and the need to enhance cooperation between the school, consisting of classroom teachers, special tutor, and teachers in the study so that goals can be achieved with a good education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini diawali dengan permasalahan yang ditemukan di SLB Amal Bhakti Sicincin, seorang anak cerebral palsy yang mengalami masalah dalam motorik halusnya yaitu dalam memegang alat tulis. Hal ini terlihat pada saat peneliti melakukan pengamatan terhadap anak dan didapatan hasil bahwa anak mengalami kemampuan motorik halus yang rendah dalam memegang alat tulis. Anak belum mampu memegang alat tulis sesuai dengan kriteria memegang alat tulis yang baik dan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah media fondant efektif untuk meningkatkan motorik halus dalam memegang alat tulis bagi anak cerebral palsy sedang kelas V di SLB Amal Bhakti Sicincin.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dalam bentuk single subject research (SSR), dengan menggunakan desain A-B-A dan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis visual grafik. Subjek penelitian adalah anak tunagrahita ringan. Target behavior dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan memegang alat tulis sesuai degan cara memegang alat tulis dengan baik dan benar. Pengukuran variabelnya dengan menggunakan persentase dari jumlah butir instrumen yang dapat dilakukan dengan baik dan benar.Pengamatan dilakukan dalam tiga sesi yaitu pertama, sesi baseline (A) yang dilakukan sebanyak enam kali pengamatan, hasil persentase pada kondisi ini terletak pada rentang 0% sampai 30%. Kedua, sesi intervensi melalui media fondant (B) dilakukan sebanyak duabelas kali, persentase kemampuan memegang alat tulis anak pada kondisi ini terletak pada rentang 40% sampai 80%. Dan pada sesi terakhir disebut juga dengan baseline (A2) kondisi awal setelah perlakuan dihentikan. Pada kondisi ini, persentase kemampuan memegang alat tulis anak terletak pada rentang 40% sampai 70%. kecenderungan arah, kecenderungan stabilitas, kecenderungan jejak data, dan perubahan level meningkat secara positif, serta persentase overlap  (data yang tumpang tindih) pada analisis antar kondisi adalah 25% dan 17%. Semakin kecil persentase overlap, semakin kuat pengaruh intervensi terhadap perubahan perlakuan. Sehingga, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa bermain play dough efektif untuk meningkatkan motorik halus bagi anak tunagrahita ringan. Peneliti menyarankan pada guru hendaknya dapat menggunakan media fondant untuk meningkatkan cara memegang alat tulis bagi anak cerebral palsy sedang. Kata kunci : Media Fondant, Menulis Permulaan, Anak Cerebral Palsy Sedang.

Abstract

Abstrack: This study discussed the improvement of skill of reading graph toward the blind child on class XI SMA N 2 Painan on Mathematics subject. Started from the observation that researcher found the blind child had not been able to read the chart, so after administered an observation with the target behavior and distinguished graphs, identified and read charts. The purpose of this research was to prove the media charts arise could improve the skill of reading graph in math subjects in blind children.This research used experimental approach in the form of single subject design (SSD) with multiple baselines cross variables design and research data analysis used a visual graph analysis technique.Data analysis indicated that baseline data differentiated the graphics for 3 days with a mean of level 3 and the trend horizontal directions and trends continued with intervention for 9 days with mean level 6, the trend increased and data change improved (+3). The identified baseline graph done in 5 days with a mean of level 0 and horizontal direction and trend continued with  intervention for 7 days with a mean level 15,14 the trend increased and data change improved (+10). The chart baseline was read for 7 days with a mean of level 0 and horizontal direction trend continued with intervention in 5 days with a mean level of 15.4, the trend increased and data change improved (+13) and all the targets had overlap behavior data to 0%. The conclusion was that media graphic arise improved the skills of Reading Graphs on Mathematics subject for visually impaired or blind child on XI class SMA N 2 Painan. Based on the results of this research, hoped the teachers and Government presented the graph in the shape of embossed to be read by the visually impaired or blind students. Kata Kunci: reading graph; media chart arise; blind children.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study originated from the observation that the author did in the 20 State SDLB cottage Duo, met tunagrahita underprivileged children in doing gross motor movement ran over her other friends. This study aims to prove that by playing a kite child can improve gross motor skills tunagrahita child ran in the State 20 SDLB cottage Duo. Research subjects were the children mental retardation were sitting in class IIC. This type of research is the Single Subject Research methods look towards trends graph that compares the Baseline condition, the condition given treatment after treatment and were not given a second baseline treatment. Procedures perekapan procedure data by direct observation of the results of the game kite given to children to improve gross motor skills children ran tunagrahita. The data is taken directly in kekgiatan noting how long the duration of the child's ability to run from start to finish 20 meters distance. The results are analyzed include the number of observations in the baseline condition as much as seven times, seven times as many treatment conditions and baseline second four times. Results of this study indicate that the kite through the game can improve gross motor skills ran significantly. This is evident from the analysis of the trend towards increased. In the baseline condition of gross motor skills children ran to get the highest percentage of 40%. After a given treatment with proven games or kite gross motor skills children ran up the highest percentage of children obtaining results 100%. The researchers suggest to teachers to implement learning with game-kite serviceability to improve gross motor running for future learning.Kata kunci: Anak tunagrahita sedang; kecepatan berlari; penerapan permainan layang-layang.
