Abstract

The subjects of this study were 32 class VIII 9 students of SMP Negeri 2 Palangka Raya, consisting of 16 boys and 16 girls. The ability to read intensively to find main ideas using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition method has been shown to increase. The results of the knowledge test on the initial conditions of the class average score from 70 rose to 79 in cycle I, then rose again to 84 in cycle II. Mastery learning results of the knowledge test, initial conditions of 10 students or 31% increased to 23 students or 72%, in cycle I. Cycle II increased again by 29 students or 91%. The results of the intensive reading skills test to find the main idea of the initial condition of the class average acquisition of 60 with completeness of 4 students or 13%. Cycle I average class of 76 with the number of students completing as much as 17 or 53%. Cycle II the average class score was 82 with the number of students completing 29 students or 91%. The positive behavior of students after participating in intensive reading skills learning to find the main ideas has also increased. Based on the results of observations of student behavior, the percentage of the first cycle was 51%, in the second cycle it increased to 81%. Big increase of 30%. The results of this study concluded that the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition method can improve intensive reading skills to find the main ideas in reading texts and positive behavior in student learning.

Abstract

The objectives of the School Action Research with the title: "Improving Teacher Professional Competence to Develop 2013 Curriculum Teaching Materials Through Workshops at SDN-2 Samba Danum" are as follows: 1) Describe the Techniques and Steps for Implementing the Workshop to Improve Teacher Professional Competence to Create 2013 Curriculum Teaching Materials at SDN-2 Samba Danum.; 2) Proves that the implementation of the workshop can improve the professional competence of teachers to develop teaching materials for the 2013 curriculum at SDN-2 Samba Danum. The results of the study are the assessment of the teacher's work in compiling teaching materials for the 2013 curriculum at SDN-2 Samba Danum, it can be concluded that out of 12 teachers who took part in the workshop activities for compiling teaching materials for the 2013 curriculum, it was proven that 12 teachers received grades with criteria A (Very Good). ), there were 9 teachers or 75% who scored with criteria B (Good), there were 3 teachers or 25% who scored with criteria C (Good enough), there were 0 teachers or 0% who got scores with criteria D (Poor), and there were 0 teachers or 0% who scored with criterion C (Very Poor).

Abstract

The aims of the research were: 1) to explain techniques or how to use learning video media to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subject matter for building space materials in class VI of SDN-2 Samba Danum. 2) Proves that Learning Video Media Can Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Subjects. The results of the research show that learning video media can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics in class VI-B SDN-2 Samba. 1410 with a class average score of 67.14 and in Cycle 2 the total student score was 1590 with a class average of 75.24. It is proven that there is an increase in the class average value of 8.10 value points. Cycle 1 there were 8 or 38.09% of students, and students who completed 13 students or 61.90% who scored Mathematics and students who completed 3 people or 60% of the total number of students, namely 21 students and in cycle 2 it was proven the value of the Mathematics subject was 20 students who completed or 95.24% of students from the total number of students, namely 21 students.

Abstract

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 6 of 2018 concerning Education and Training (Training) for Candidates for Principals is the preparation of competency for prospective school principals to strengthen insights, knowledge, attitudes, values and skills in leading schools, which aims to: (1) provide experience learning that integrates attitudes, knowledge, and skills on the dimensions of personality, managerial, entrepreneurial, supervision, and social competencies with empirical (contextual) experience according to the characteristics of prospective principals (2) develops the ability of prospective principals in identifying learning problems to improve learning outcomes learners. This research is an action research of school principals. The subjects in this study were Guppy Palangkaraya Middle School teachers. The stages of this research are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. From the results of the analysis of the ability of the teacher cycle 1 reached 95.45% and cycle 2 increased to 100%. there has been an increase of 4.55%. Competency improvement based on AKPK can improve supervisory competence of prospective school principals. The implementation of compiling RPP learning tools from home can improve student achievement.

Abstract

College graduates still contribute significantly to Indonesia's open unemployment rate. Providing materials on entrepreneurship can help students to provide job opportunities and build their businesses. This study seeks to determine the technical and psychosocial roles from mentors in the cultivation phase adopted from Kram to be applied in entrepreneurship mentoring for PLS students. This research uses a qualitative method with a comparative descriptive approach. Determination of subjects using purposive sampling. Data were collected using observation, skill testing, and structured interviews. The research results shows that the technical role of the mentor appears in the process of exposure and review of business plans. Mentors confirmed that students technical understanding was in a good position in terms of originality and innovation in their product design, business planning and detailed financial management. This was reflected by the results of the skill test with an average score of 73.1/100. Mentors are considered by students to have carried out their psychosocial role because of the ability to provide motivation and understanding of entrepreneurship. This role encourages students to feel more confident, have strong intentions, dare to move forward, dare to accept criticism, dare to take risks, willingness to learn and adapt, consistency, and not giving up on their business. As a follow-up, facilitation was conducted by the mentors to improve the students' business plans.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan ingin mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan faktor eksternal terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa angkatan 2018 prodi pendidikan ekonomi FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi dan sampel penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2018 sebanyak 40 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan koesioner tertutup dan terbuka dengan bantuan google formulir. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Regresi linier berganda, Uji Parsial (Uji T) dan Uji simultan (Uji F). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel faktor ekternal yaitu lingkungan keluarga (X1), mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap variabel terikat yaitu prestasi belajar sebesar 55,4%. Variabel faktor ekternal yaitu lingkungan kampus (X2) mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap variabel terikat yaitu prestasi belajar sebesar 23,7% faktor ekternal yaitu bimbingan akademik (X3) tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan secara parsial terhadap variabel terikat tetapi faktor eksternal yaitu bimbingan akademik (X3) memiliki pengaruh positif secara parsial terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 1,8% dan variabel faktor ekternal yaitu lingkungan keluarga (X1), memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan Sedangkan Dari hasil penelitian uji F yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa variabel faktor eksternal yaitu lingkungan keluarga (X1), lingkungan kampus (X2) dan bimbingan akademik (X3) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan dan bersama-sama (simultan) terhadap variabel terikat yaitu Prestasi Belajar Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2018 FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya sebesar 75,1%.

Abstract

SES (Socio-Economic Status) seringkali didasarkan pada berbagai variabel, seperti pencapaian pendidikan ibu dan ayah, pekerjaan, pendapatan keluarga, dan faktor gaya hidup. Artikel ini mempelajari tentang bagaimana proses pengambilan keputusan melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi melalui sebuah pertimbangan dan pemikiran yang matang agar keputusan yang diambil berdampak baik. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan fenomenologi yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling. Responden penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu sebagai mahasiswa aktif angkatan 2021 yang melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi pada perguruan tinggi negeri maupun swasta di Kalimantan Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua yang berpendidikan memiliki pandangan yang berbeda-beda dalam mendorong anaknya untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Latar belakang pendidikan orang tua secara tidak langsung memiliki peranan yang besar terhadap keputusan anak dalam melanjutkan studi. Berkaitan dengan pendapatan orang tua, keluarga dengan pendapatan rendah tetap memiliki harapan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi dengan adanya program beasiswa dari pemerintah. Banyak anak yang termotivasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi walaupun pendapatan orang tuanya rendah. Sedangkan gaya hidup (lifestyle) memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar bagi keputusan seseorang untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Semakin banyak anggota keluarga yang berpendidikan tinggi memberikan motivasi yang tinggi pula bagi seseorang untuk melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

High school students' consumption behavior is influenced by several factors, one of which is the intensity of social media use. The aim of this research is to find out how much influence the intensity of social media use has on the consumption behavior of students at SMAN 3 Palangka Raya. Data for the two variables (intensity of social media use and consumption behavior) comes from a questionnaire filled out by students of SMAN 3 Palangka Raya. The population of this study was 1635 students, while the sample was 509 students. The sampling technique uses random sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that consumption behavior can be influenced by the intensity of social media use.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi digital dan berbahasa Inggris sangat penting sekali dalam kehidupan mahasiswa di era sekarang. Persaingan yang ketat dalam dunia kerja menjadikan mahasiswa dituntut untuk dapat membuka peluang usaha sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kemampuan literasi digital dan berbahasa Inggris mahasiswa di Banjarmasin untuk mendukung berwirausaha digital. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada metode kuantitatif, dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah para mahasiswa Politeknik Banjarmasin dengan jumlah sekitar 114 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki tingkat literasi digital dan kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang baik. Dengan penguasaan kedua materi ini, mengakibatkan tingkat berwirausaha digital dikalangan mahasiswa juga meningkat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peran pengusaha katering Trifosa dalam memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga melalui wirausaha katering di kota Kasongan, dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Informan penelitian terdiri dari pimpinan pengusaha katering, chef dan ibu rumah tangga. Analisis data dilaksanakan secara simultan dari awal sampai akhir penelitian mulai pengumpulan data, condensasi data, penampilan data, verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis data bahwa upaya pengusaha katering Trifosa dalam memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga melalui wirausaha katering di kota Kasongan berdampak sangat signifikan, karena para ibu rumah tangga yang mengikuti pembinaan berwirausaha katering sudah dapat melakukan usaha rumahan secara mandiri dibidang kuliner dan hasilnya dapat menunjang ekonomi keluarga.
