Abstract

One of the problems that often occurs in school administration is the late payment of tuition fees. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the education payment process so that in the future the payment process can run in an orderly and disciplined manner. This study aims to create a cluster model for grouping student administration payments. This type of research is quantitative using the K-Means Clustering method to classify payment data based on 2 variables, namely the time of payment and the income of students' guardians carried out in private elementary schools in Semarang. The data used in this study is payment data for the 2019/2020 academic year, which totals 1,933 records, covering transactions from 419 students. Determining the number of clusters is calculated using the elbow method, the best clusters obtained from the data used are 3 clusters, namely clusters 0, 1 and 2. Our findings show that cluster 2 has the largest percentage of early monthly administration payments, namely 52.5%, the percentage is on time the highest was in cluster 1, namely 74.8%, and the highest percentage of late payments was in cluster 0, namely 28.6%. The results of the analysis show that the main factor for late payments is not the guardian's income but other external factors, as evidenced by the highest percentage of late payments in cluster 0, where the average income of student guardians is = 10,000,000.

Abstract

Rumah Tahfidz Qur'an is an alternative for people, especially parents who want to educate their children to be able to read the Qur'an. However, the lack of knowledge and community about the location of some third qur'an houses, makes people only include their children in locations throughout the house. This study aims to create a geographic information system to map the location of the Rumah Tahfidz Qur'an, especially in the city of Tanjung Balai. Waterfall is a model used in this study with analysis, design, implementation, and testing, as well as maintenance. The analysis stage was carried out by collecting data on the location of the Rumah Tahfidz Qur'an by observation and interviews. The design used consists of, use case-diagram, class diagram, and flowchart. Testing this system uses black box testing, which aims to see the functionality to the system. Our findings show that there are 41 locations of Rumah Tahfidz Qur'an in the Tanjung Balai city area. The system that we have created has succeeded in providing or mapping the location of the Rumah Tahfidz Qur'an quickly and accurately. In addition, all functional-based on black box testing on this system have been successful and without any errors. This system can be used by society as an information medium in finding the location of the Rumah Tahfidz Qur'an in the Tanjung Balai Kota area.

Abstract

The COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019) pandemic is still spreading until 2022, so in responding to this, PT Adira Finance provides an opportunity to suspend credit installment payments to nasakabah. In order not to cause installments and defaults (breaking promises) it is necessary to have a decision support system to determine the creditworthiness of these customers. The purpose of this study is to build a decision support system to determine the feasibility of solicitation to customers using the naïve bayes method. The model used to build this system is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with stages of analysis, design, testing, and implementation. The sample or training data used in this study was 20 customers. Meanwhile, the technique used to determine the feasibility of customer suspension uses naïve bayes by looking at the prior and conditional probability values of each criteria. Our findings result in a customer eligibility decision support system with the naïve bayes method is appropriate and accurate. So that with this system, it can be used as a consideration to make decisions by the manager of PT Adira Finance to determine whether or not customers are eligible to receive a credit suspension.

Abstract

Bagan Asahan Beach is one of the attractions in Tanjung Balai which is visited by many visitors. At night, Bagan Asahan beach is very dark, making it prone to sexual violence or crime. The purpose of this research is to make automatic street lights utilizing wind turbines as lighting in the Bagan Asahan beach area. The method used is a prototype with the stages of collecting information by interviewing visitors and local village administrators, making and repairing prototypes and conducting prototype trials. The hardware in the tool testing consists of arduino nano, DC motor, relay, led lamp, SMD led, LDR, ultrasonic, battery and inverter. Our findings show that the tool that was built has an error if the battery is = 50% then the two sensors do not read the signal accurately. Overall, the tool can function properly although there are still some shortcomings..

Abstract

The number of services used by internet users such as social media, online transportation, entertainment, and banking. this encourages the use of weak, short, and repetitive passwords that can trigger sensitive data leaks and impact individuals or organizations. These problems can be overcome with open-source and closed-source password manager applications to help users create, store, and manage passwords. Closed-source password manager apps have an advantage in the features they provide compared to open-source ones. The many providers of password manager applications make users face many choices so that the specifications of the password manager application need to be known as consideration for determining the application to be used. In this study, a comparative analysis was conducted to assess the advantages and disadvantages of several popular and widely used closed-source password management applications, including Lastpass, 1Password, and Keeper. Comparative analysis was carried out based on the performance, and usability of ISO/IEC 25010. This study used mixed methods. Quantitative data was obtained during performance testing, while qualitative data was obtained when distributing questionnaires to measure usability. The result is that, in terms of performance characteristics, each application has its own advantages in a different sub-characteristic. On usability characteristics, Keeper application excels in four sub characteristics while 1Password excels in two sub characteristics.

Abstract

Establishing a business or industrial place must obtain a permit from the government which aims to protect the surrounding community to be protected from the possibility of disturbance or pollution caused by the industry. Therefore, in order to achieve this, it is necessary to have a system that automatically provides accurate and quick decisions in determining which company or industry is worthy of being granted a business license. The purpose of this study is to build a decision support system in determining business premises or industry hinder ordonantie permits using the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method. This research stage consists of analysis, design, testing, and implementation adopted from the waterfall model. Data collection was carried out by interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used is the MFEP method to determine the final decision in granting nuisance permits to companies or industries. Samples or training data totaling 30 industry names in the Asahan Regency area. This system is tested with a black box which aims to find out if all components in the system are running well. Our findings show that the system we have created is appropriate based on the results of the analysis using the MFEP method. In addition, the results of black box testing show that all components in this system are valid and functioning properly.

Abstract

Although the rules have been enforced, children's behavior in schools often cannot be monitored by parents even when children commit violations. This is because the school has not implemented information system technology for parents to track violations committed by their children in the school. The purpose of this study is to build a violation point information system (ViMoIS) for students so that their recording can be done digitally and can be monitored by parents. The location of study was conducted in one of the High Schools in Gresik. The data collection technique uses the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method. The model used to build this system is waterfall starting with three stages of that is, analysis, design, and testing. The results of the study were in the form of a Web-Based Student Violation Point Monitoring Information System (ViMoIS). Based on the results of black box testing that all components in this system run smoothly (success). The existence of a ViMoIS is expected to modernize the process of recording student budgeting so that old people can monitor their children's behavior in schools.

Abstract

The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is one of the methods in determining decisions based on predetermined criteria, such as employee annual bonuses.  However, there are no criteria and systems used to determine who employees are eligible for the yearly bonus based on their purpose The purpose of this study is to create a system of supporting employee annual bonus decisions by applying the SAW method. The waterfall is a model used to build this system through analysis, design, implementation, and testing.  Data collection used observations and interviews, as well as data used by 20 people.  The data analysis technique uses the SAW method by looking at alternatives and rankings of the results obtained.  Testing this system uses a black box by looking at the processes and functions of several components in this system.  These findings result in a system that can provide a decision to determine annual bonuses for employees using the SAW method addition, has been successfully implemented with this method.  In addition, this system also has all its components already functioning, both from the login process to being able to produce feasible decisions and not determining the bonus.

Abstract

Luhur Sembada Village-Owned Enterprises (LSVOE) purpose to develop various business units to realize the welfare of the people of the Kalurahan Sidoluhur community through productive economic development efforts. However, the sales media run is ineffective and efficient because the information system is still managed manually. This study aims to facilitate all information and product sales in the LSVOE so that it can be known through a website-based information system and apply SEO techniques to increase the reach of sales promotion on the website. Data collection are carried out through observation, interviews, and literature studies. This research uses the system development life cycle method for website creation and applies On Page and Off Page SEO techniques. This research resulted in the website of the information system of the LSVOE, which was first tested using black bock testing. In addition, this research resulted in website development using technical SEO, which was first tested using web.dev and page speed. The website that has been designed has successfully entered page one of the Google search and is easily searched by the wider community. A website-based information system can expand information on the productive economic development of the LSVOE and help improve website promotion.

Abstract

Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method that is often used to determine decisions in system making. To determine the soft-skill competence possessed by a person, a more in-depth analysis needs to be carried out based upon the criteria used. The purpose of this study is to produce a decision support system to assess the soft-skill competence of employees using the AHP method. This system is made based on the stages of the waterfall model which consists of analysis, design, implementation and testing. The collection technique used observation and interviews, and the amount of data was 18 people who were analyzed using the AHP method. System testing is done with a black box which aims to see the functionality to the system. Our findings are in the form of a web-based decision support system. In addition, this system managed to show the best employee with a score of 0.622, and all components run as expected, without any errors. So that this system can be used as a reference to determine the soft skill competencies of employees in this place.
