Abstract

The quality of an academic institution is influenced by its website. E-learning, as a type of website used for learning, offers flexible learning opportunities. In order to enhance the effectiveness of e-learning services, it is necessary to evaluate and identify areas for improvement. This research aims to evaluate the quality of learning using the webqual 4.0 method and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to determine gaps and prioritize areas for future improvement. The variables examined in this study include usefulness, information quality, and service interaction quality. A qualitative descriptive design was employed, and data suitability was analysed using the webqual and IPA methods. The research data, consisting of numerical values, was collected through interviews and questionnaires administered to faculty members and students via google form. The evaluation scores for usefulness, information quality, and service interaction quality were found to be 72,9%, 75%, and 74,35%, respectively, indicating good quality. The gap analysis revealed a value of -0,07, suggesting that the e-learning website does not fully meet user expectations. The IPA results showed that quadrants III and IV require improvement due to their low performance, as this can affect the level of importance attributed by users to those attributes.

Abstract

Sorting algorithms are crucial in data processing, particularly for integer data. However, as the number of integers to be sorted increases, the sorting algorithm takes longer to complete, especially for algorithms with O(n2) complexity. This article discusses optimizing integer data sorting by combining the Selection Sort Hybrid and Bucket Sort algorithms. The study aims to test the performance of the Selection Sort Hybrid and Bucket Sort algorithms and compare them with other data sorting algorithms. The research method used is experimental quantitative research, using randomly generated data using Python. The data were tested using the Combined Selection Sort Hybrid with Bucket Sort algorithm, Selection Sort Hybrid, Quick Sort, and Merge Sort. Data analysis was done by calculating the execution time of each sorting algorithm. The results show that the Selection Sort Hybrid and Bucket Sort algorithms are faster than other sorting algorithms in testing with large and complex integer data. Therefore, combining Selection Sort Hybrid and Bucket Sort algorithms can improve the efficiency and speed of sorting complex integer data.

Abstract

The Fajar Sejahtera Indonesia Foundation is a non-governmental social organization that has assets in four districts in the city of Medan. However, every asset in the form of goods experiences a decrease in value each year. Calculating depreciation for purchasing planning is still difficult as it is done manually on paper. The research objective is to create an asset depreciation financing application using the decreasing charge method based on a website. The programming is done using PHP, MySQL, XAMPP, and Visual Studio Code, employing the research and development method, including potential and problem identification, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, product revision, usage testing, final product revision, and mass production. However, this research is limited to the product testing phase. Data collection techniques involve interviews, observations, and literature reviews. The system is tested using a validation test divided into three parts: expert validation, field testing, and user testing. Our findings resulted in a web-based application for calculating inventory depreciation. The expert validation test yielded a score of 3.8, indicating high validity; the field testing resulted in a score of 4.0, indicating high validity; and the user testing with five participants achieved a score of 83.2%, indicating high effectiveness.

Abstract

Currently at SMK Muhammadiyah 01 Boyolali the process of managing library book lending services is still manual with library ledgers and there is no computerized system, so this results in fewer effective services and is prone to transaction data errors. This study aims to create a library book lending system with quick response (QR) code identification to overcome problems in the current library service process. The system development method uses Waterfall which consists of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The analysis phase of collecting data on library services through observation and interviews. The system process design stage is described using use case and activity diagram. System functionality testing uses black box testing and usability testing uses a QUIS questionnaire which consists of several parameters, namely: overall reaction to the software, screen, terminology and system information, and system capabilities. Our findings are in the form of an information system that can assist the library service process. In addition, the results of the black box testing of all components in this system run as expected and the validity and reliability tests obtain valid and reliable results for each parameter. Thus, it can be concluded that this system can be used in optimizing library services.

Abstract

Laying hens are animals that are widely bred by people in Indonesia, especially in the province of North Sumatra as a form of micro, and medium enterprises, commonly abbreviated as UMKM. In order to improve health and avoid disease in these animals, it is necessary to have the knowledge to deal with the symptoms of existing diseases. The purpose of this study is to create a system for diagnosing disease in laying hens using the Dempster Shafer method. The stages of making this system are analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Collecting data on the study through observation and interviews about diseases in these animals. Meanwhile, in this research design, application architecture and interfaces are created. Data analysis technique using Dempster Shafer and testing is done shade Blackbox. Our findings are an expert system that can diagnose dempster shader hens’ disease. This system can also be implemented using the Dempster Shafer method and is then running well and can provide diagnosis results with an accuracy of 99.04%. In addition, the test results show that the modules in this system are already functioning and successfully based on the Blackbox results. Therefore, this system can be used to find out the symptoms of disease in laying hens, especially in the Food Security and Animal Husbandry Service of North Sumatra Province, which is Asahan Regency.

Abstract

Currently, mental health issues in society have become an important focus, given the rise of mental issues, especially on social media. Currently, most of the use of social media is carried out using mobile technology, which also mostly uses the Android and IOS operating systems. This study aims to implement a hybrid app framework in building mobile-based mental health applications that can run on Android and IOS operating systems. The method used to build this application is the waterfall method, which is a systematic and sequential research method. The waterfall method is a step-by-step process that is well adapted to the situation in the field. The analysis is carried out through collecting data related to system needs and mental health by means of observation, interviews, and literature study. The system is designed using use case diagrams and activity diagrams. The testing phase is carried out by black box testing with the aim of finding incorrect functions, interface errors, data structure errors, performance errors, initialization errors and termination. Our findings show that the system can run well on Android and IOS operating systems, this is clarified through the results of black box testing that provides results as expected. This system is expected to be used by the wider community to help maintain mental health stability.

Abstract

Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) is a social issue that often occurs in Indonesia, especially for women. Domestic violence cases often cannot be handled thoroughly because legal issues are very complex, making it difficult for ordinary people to understand and sort out the articles that regulate a legal case in domestic violence. This research aims to produce an expert system that can make it easier for the public to find solutions in the form of articles suspected of being involved in a crime of domestic violence. An expert system built with the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The analysis phase was carried out by observation and interviews or discussions with staff from the District Attorney's Office for the Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The implementation phase uses the Forward Chaining inference technique to produce the basic rules for determining the articles suspected of acts of violence committed. System testing using SUPR-Q involved 30 respondents to fill out questionnaires from 3 aspects of user experience namely usability, user interface, and satisfaction. The test results obtained a percentage of 80.66% indicating a very good level of ease and satisfaction of the expert system for eliminating domestic violence.

Abstract

In order to improve the quality of the Octo Mobile by Bank Cimb Niaga application, it is necessary to carry out usability testing of the application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with a Likert scale for the answer. The purpose of this study is to evaluate usability and analyze user experience on the Octo Mobile application, so that it is expected to be used as a reference for application development by Bank CIMB Niaga. Respondents consisted of 39 Octo Mobile application users. Testing was carried out by directly interviewing respondents and filling out a questionnaire containing 10 statements. The results of testing with the SUS method obtained a result of 58.5%. Based on these results, the acceptability of the Octo Mobile application is in the marginal low range, the adjective rating is in the OK level, and the grade scale is in class F. Based on these results it can be concluded that the Octo Mobile application has usability that is acceptable to users, but still needs to be improved and further upgrades.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has impacted various fields, one of which is cellular telephony. The increasing number of people who have cell phones impacts the need for digital products, especially digital balances, which are increasing. This study aims to identify digital balance sales so that they become input, especially the ZAR counter-promotion strategy. This study uses the clustering method and the K-Means Algorithm to obtain several clusters of transaction types based on the nominal sales price. The silhouette is used to find the number of clusters. The dataset used in this study is the sale of digital ZAR counterbalances from November 2021 to October 2022. This research resulted in a total of 2 clusters. First cluster with low price nominal sales was 49,213 data, while second with high nominal price sales was 3,076. The study results show that the k-means algorithm can be used to cluster sales of ZAR counter digital balances, and ZAR counter digital balances are quite good. Still, there is data in clusters with high nominal prices. ZAR counter owners can create promotional strategies by providing discounts below 142,000 so that customers who buy at a high nominal price move to a lower nominal price.

Abstract

The development of digital technology, especially Artificial Intelligence at this time has grown very rapidly and has penetrated into learning technology. One of them is the development of Chat GPT which has begun to be widely used by students and affects the level of student independence. This study aims to examine the effect of the application of Chat GPT on learning education management on student independence. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with One-Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The population was 40 people and all of them became samples. Data collection techniques are observation and documentation. Data instruments use validity sheets, observation sheets, and documentation. The analysis techniques used are Validity Test, observation data analysis, Prerequisite Test, and Hypothesis Test. The results showed that the application of Chat GPT in learning educational management significantly influenced student independence. In the pre-test, student independence is still in the category of starting to be independent, while in the post-test, student independence increases to be very independent. So, it is concluded that student independence can be increased by the application of Chat GPT in learning education management.
