Abstract

The evaluation of Arabic language learners to non-native speakers is linked to the competencies required to enable them, and to the goals or competencies specified in advance. Valuation is based on it to see the extent of its realization or not. The study aimed to know the competencies required to enable Arabic language learners to non-native speakers of it, and to methods of evaluating Arabic language learners to non-native speakers in light of it, and the study used the descriptive approach. The study concluded: the goal of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers is to empower learners with linguistic, communication, and cultural competencies, and that evaluating Arabic language learners to non-native speakers is according to the three competencies, and those linguistic activities have a role in evaluation, in developing and developing competencies, and that all kinds of language tests It is part of the evaluation of learners of the Arabic language for non-native speakers and is not the only method of evaluation.

Abstract

This research aims to understand and establish criteria for evaluating the performance of the Arabic teachers for non-native speakers. The standards of learning foreign languages and integrating them into the curriculum and its applications in the field of language education. The researcher also pointed to the most important standards in the field of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. To achieve the objectives set for this study, the researcher followed the descriptive method based on the development of the data required to answer the questions of the study describing the phenomenon under study and derived and analyzed to reach tangible results. The researcher chose this approach because it is comprehensive and provides the researcher with a lot of information about the phenomenon and its relevance to the subject of study. The researcher concluded from this study the results of the most important of which is to prove the role of the educational assessment of the teacher of the Arabic language for non-native speakers and how to achieve the goals of education effectively and strive to provide him with what helps to reflect his ideas abstraction and transfer it to knowledge and planning and application in the best ways to modify the environment of education and the need for educational renewal The need to evaluate the teacher according to basic and functional standards in the educational process such as ACTFI standards, CEFR standards, TESOL standards, Australia’s AFMLTA. The need for teaching Arabic language curricula for non-native speakers to the development and activation.

Abstract

This article reports the significance of Arabic phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics in understanding the texts of The Holy Quran and hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It presents a variety of phonological, morphological, syntactical and semantic examples to illustrate their significance to correctly understand the meaning of the holy texts. It was concluded that it is very vital to put all these four linguistic levels in the consideration to understand the correct interpretation of the texts especially when it comes to teaching Arabic to non-native speakers for teaching Arabic language curricula for non-native speakers to the development and activation.

Abstract

Arabic is exposed to many negative linguistic manifestations, such as the phenomenon of widespread grammatical errors in social media, especially twitter. The current study aims to monitor grammatical errors in verbs twitter tweets. The study also seeks to investigate the impact of grammatical errors on the understanding of tweets and to detect the effect of grammatical errors in verbs on the Arabic level. To verify the validity of the hypotheses and to answer all the questions, the researchers will use the statistical analytical descriptive method to obtain the study data. The study will then devise a computer program designed by the researchers to correct common grammatical errors in using the verbs on twitter. The study sample will consist of only 200 informative tweets from 2016 to 2018, with many Arab political and social events occurring in this period, so twitter has become an important and influential medium in the Arab world. To come out to clear and steady numerical results for the study, and one of the most important results of the research: the prevalence of grammatical errors in the verb appeared in varying proportions, where the highest percentage of errors appeared for assertions, reaching 44%, and the lowest percentage was for payments, reaching 22%.

Abstract

The issue of employing technological media, the film model in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers, has become an urgent necessity dictated by the changing nature of global societies. Therefore, we find ourselves as Arab and Islamic societies in need of changing the pattern of our traditional visions of the educational process, as they no longer respond to the new learners' tendencies of languages, which prompted us to propose an alternative that is in line with the new shifts in education and training; an alternative that employs movie and integrates it into the learning process because of the influential technical and aesthetic potential available, which can build educational content in a modern form. However, this proposition that we are establishing, despite the promising prospects, is not without its challenges that existentially impede its realization. According to the study, it is possible to overcome these difficulties if there are a vision and a will. Therefore, we find that the study has worked to give suggestions on the mechanisms and the modalities to prepare a creative and fruitful approach in the Arabic language for non-native speakers, depending on the skill of film viewing, which would give this new educational vision a deep strategic dimension that will bring the Arabic language into line with the language of modern technological media.

Abstract

The Arabic language is the spirit of the Arab nation, the title of its identity, and the inclusion of its culture, and when it is preserved by its people, they will be able to be the builders of others’ minds and the proponents of its flags among the languages of nations and peoples. Accordingly, the significance of the study mentioned the geniality of the Arabic language, its properties, its spread in the world. The problem of the study is the universality of the Arabic language after Islam, its major properties, the extent of its spread, its impact. The study will follow the analytical descriptive methodology in tracing this problem and studying its terms. The study revealed the universal position of the Arabic language among other languages of the world that made it a title of human civilization, cultural reference, and the tool of communication between the Arab peoples and non-Arab.

Abstract

This research aims to present my experience in teaching the advanced level of conversational skills in the Sultan Qaboos College for teaching Arabic to other speakers using the effective teaching method to deal with questions such as: What will I do when I teach the advanced level of conversation and how will I study it? Will the topics be exciting for motivation in different classroom situations? Will the conversation be effective in the classroom and beyond? The study concluded with the importance of providing the participants in the teaching of Arabic to foreigners with practical experience, mechanisms, and interactive methods, and to fill some of the shortage in this field of knowledge and by following the descriptive-analytical approach. It also included the topics studied in this experiment. The most important conclusion: the importance of correct assessment of students before starting to teach the best way to success Effective teaching, patience is also necessary for successful linguistic production, in addition to motivation as well as the synergy of methods and principles of effective teaching all leads to the integration of the student gradually in the Leah classroom and with his colleagues and with the environment is not class later.

Abstract

Character education should be based on one’s own culture, in the form of excavation of noble values ​​that exist in local wisdom. Character values ​​internalized by character traits should be taken through local noble values ​​and culture as the basis and basis for character education. This is in line with UNESCO’s recommendations in 2009. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive research method to explain the research results of the development of Arabic syntactic (naḥwu 2) teaching material with a contextual approach to local culture with the theme of Nusantara tourism to improve Arabic language skills for students of Arabic Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Based on the results of research conducted on the development of this teaching material, there are several aspects of the assessment of expert examiners with the following assessment: assessment of material experts 82,8%, linguists 85,8%, media experts 83,85%. From these three experts, an average value of 84,15% was obtained, which means Arabic syntactic (naḥwu 2) teaching materials with a contextual approach to local culture with the theme of Nusantara tourism received scores with good criteria and were suitable for use in teaching Arabic syntax in higher education.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of the intonation diagram on the results of reading aloud learning for students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The used method for this research is experimental, and the samples were taken from the students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program 2018 from class A, B, C, and D. The population was 108 students, 56 students in an experimental group, while 52 students in the control group. The conclusion of this research based on this final data. The test results show that the value of T calculated obtain from 0,05 is (3,3) and the value of the T table (1,685) for the degree of freedom (dk=106). Because the obtained T calculated bigger than the value of the T table, then the hypothesis is 0 (H0) rejected and the research hypothesis (H1) accepted. Based on the data, it shows that the effect of the intonation diagram on reading aloud learning has a positive effect, which is one of the learning media that can improve the reading aloud for students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning Arabic using a multilanguage strategy in Ma‘had. The study is qualitative research, taking the students (mahasantri) Ma‘had Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim, Malang, in 2016. The method of data collection in this study was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that with the use of the Multilanguage strategy, learning can attract motivation and interest in students who do not have an adequate language background because Indonesian helps to bring students into a foreign language with a purpose, especially Arabic. Also, the use of this strategy allows students to be able to use more than one language.
