Abstract

Most of territory in DKI Jakarta that affected by floods. The floods subscription areas are flooded with varying depths, range from 0.5 meters to 3 meters. The habits of the people affected by the flood are reluctant to evacuate if the flood height is still below 0.5 meters, The flood victims want to evacuate after the flood has reached depth above 1 m. At the height of the flood above 1 m it will be difficult to evacuate to a safer place, because the water level is high and can dangerous for their livesThus the required means of transportation that can evacuate the flood victims quickly and safely. The design of the boat using rubber-coated Fiber Glass material for the evacuation of flood disaster, its size determination can be adjusted into the Narrow alley that are at least 2 meters wide.Boats are designed with speed 6 knots, hull construction with double hull construction. In the design calculate the strength, load, resistance, main engine and also the stability for passenger safety can be guaranteed. To ensure the safety of passengers in case of unwanted things, then the boat is equipped with life jackets.

Abstract

Wheels are one of the main components in a vehicle. Without wheels of vehicles will not be to function. The damage that occurs in aluminium alloy wheels for the outbreak spoke mostly occur due to a force and tension that occurs exceeds the maximum allowable voltage. With these considerations it is necessary to redesign using 3D software and simulated using finite element method. After simulated, part produce with low pressure casting and machining. Sample part test with several testing as single part such as : life test, drum test, 13° impact test. After that sample part test as running test such as : curb stone evaluation and rectangle evaluation. The results of sample testing parts such as life test, the drum test, 13 ° impact test and running test in the form of curb stone rectangle evaluation and evaluation did not reveal any cracks on the sample part. Nut torque results of sample testing parts such as curb stone evaluation have smaller in 70 N.m, with allowed limit 61,6 N.m until 88 N.m. And nut torque results of sample testing parts such as rectangle evaluation have smaller in 76 N.m, with allowed limit 61,6 N.m until 88 N.m

Abstract

The vibration caused by the engine rotation must be within specified limits. A mechanism that is unbalanced or unstable will lead to excessive wear on ball bearings. Unbalanced condition is one of them due to a shaking force on the crankshaft which affects the wear of ball bearings as a pedestal. The problems that have been faced is the replacement of bearings after a failure caused by excessive force due to imbalance rocking rounds to get a replacement bearings before reaching failure (unreliable). The purpose of this study was to determine reliably the age of radial ball bearings in order to maintain the performance of the motor as well as the prevention of unplanned downtime nature. Prevention "malfunction" will avoid the effects on other components of diesel engines, particularly against compression disorders. Variation of residual unbalanced force large enough to cause interference with the ball bearings to reduce Mo, the rest of the unbalanced force can be siginifkan diturnkan.

Abstract

The use of the tank as well as a container or tank of liquid reserves to make use of the tank as a necessity. By using its own tank design model which is technically very possible to make the pressure in the tank is less than atmospheric pressure so that the tank will take some role pump connected in series are used for the purpose of improving high pressure. Thus the pressure in the tank is smaller than the atmospheric pressure is only generated from the process flow itself will save pump power required on the press. To prevent the air pressure in the tank exceeds the atmospheric pressure relief valve on the tank supplied air to the atmosphere. The more water into the tank, the greater the downward thrust force due to the weight of water and by the buoy to the piston in fixed position, the tank will move downward relative to the piston. The pressure in the tank due to the movement of the closed tube will follow the phenomenon of negative pressure. To get a larger volume of air or spring difleksi rate greater then the pole float should be as light as possible and frictional forces as small as possible.The goal is to produce a prototype tank that can lighten the pump working in particular on the discharge side so it can be input pump power savings. The calculations show that a high hit on the side of the press can be reduced upto 100 percent even including reducing losses on the discharge side by enlarging the capacity of the tank. Thus happen electricity savings of the power required on the discharge side of the pump to drain the water into the tank. With spring replacement inverting the inversion moment will produce a higher pressure suction force behind the rise of the spring.

Abstract

A tractor drive engine uses a production diesel engine owned by Company X that is intended to be researched on the effect of working hours that have been used for 3 years which will re-test the performance of the engine using a running test machine. Problems are limited to the analysis of the testing process and calculations that occur in the performance of the tractor drive engine. The analysis was carried out using the theory of fuel motor energy conservation to obtain results in accordance with the specifications regarding the calculation of the test results of the tractor drive engine.The analytical method used to process existing data which includes efficiency, power, torque and generated rotation. The results of the analysis and discussion can prove that the ability of the performance of the agricultural tractor driving machine to the working hours of the machine is still feasible to be used in accordance with the existing specifications so that it can be further developed in the form of mass products to meet agricultural needs.

Abstract

Ketidakergonomisan ruang kemudi Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) dapat menyebabkan seorang masinis terkena Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorder (WMSDs) yang berdampak pada berkurangnya kemampuan konsenterasi saat mengoperasikan KRL yang cendrung statis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan usulan desain ruangan kemudi terbaik, baik dari ukuran kursi dan kabin serta penempatan instrumen pengontrol dan layar pemantau yang dapat mengakomodasi postur kerja masinis agar terhindar dari WMSDs. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis resiko postur pengemudi dengan metode Quick Exposure Check (QEC). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan total skor akhir eksposur dan level tindakan yang diperoleh dari sampel yang bekerja ruang kemudi masinis masih beragam dan semua hasil level tindakan yang diperoleh menunjukkan 58 masinis mengalami eksposur level 3 dengan tindakan yang perlu dilakukan ialah tindakan dalam waktu dekat yang berarti tindakan perlu dilakukan secepatnya dan 2 masinis mengalami eksposur level 4 dengan tindakan yang perlu dilakukan ialah diperlukan tindakan sekarang juga.

Abstract

Event Service to the community for the partner group of fishermen village of Caringin District of Labuan Pandeglang in Banten Province aims to provide training and manufacturing miniature hull fishing boat outrigger fiber glass so that partners fishermen groups can manufacture fishing boats outrigger made of fiber glass are actually independently as an attempt to divert outrigger fishing boats from wood to glass fiber materials for the development of the fishing fleet in order to maintain/increase the fish catch in order to improve the standard of living to a better direction. The method used in the manufacture of miniature outrigger fishing boat fiber glass in the form of a lecture following the discussion/question and answer and applicative training with the involvement of partner group of fishermen. Plan activities that will be done in the implementation of manufacturing miniature hull fishing boat outrigger fiber glass that provides counseling by introducing wood and fiber glass as well as equipment to be used for the manufacture of hull miniature fishing boats outrigger fiber glass, the composition of the fiber glass to see the standardization of the mixture and training manufacture of molded semi parmanen which continued with casting hull miniature outrigger fishing boats.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan saat ini dalam proses distribusi adalah mengenai keterlambatan keberangkatan distribusi. Permasalahan tersebut dapat dilihat dari ketepatan waktu keberangkatan distribusi pada bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2018 yang hanya memiliki persentase ketepatan waktu sebesar 44,8%, 68,94% dan 78,1% dari total distribusi pada bulan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan perbaikan pada proses operasional shipping, karena 60% dari keterlambatan keberangkatan disebabkan karena proses operasional. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dalam proses operasional shipping terdapat aktivitas yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah (non value added activities) sehingga membuat waktu proses menjadi lama. Perbaikan pada bagian operasional ini menggunakan metode FMEA. Hasil dari penilitian ini mengidentifikasikan jenis pemborosan (waste) yang terjadi pada proses operasional yaitu waste waiting dan waste unnecessary motion yang mengakibatkan proses operasional menjadi lebih lama. Usulan perbaikan untuk mengatasi keterlambatan keberangkatan distribusi ini yaitu dengan membuat checkheet untuk melakukan perhitungan barang yang dimuat, melakukan pemilihan vendor khusus kemasan kaca, petugas packing sebaiknya melakukan pengelompokkan barang sesuai identitas customer saat akan menyimpan barang ke troli dan melakukan pengecekan sebelum mengerjakan rute selanjutnya, menambah karyawan untuk checking atau packing chemical part, dan menambah material handling troli.

Abstract

Production is an economic activity that adds value by creating and providing goods and services, the creation of products or services and at the same time the creation of value. In economics, production is the act of creating the output, goods or services that have value and contribute to individual utilities.Production line balancing is a very important thing in planning production. Expected to regulate the flow of process efficiency can be achieved optimum production. In addition, the accumulation of intermediate goods from one machine to another machine, thus resulting in increased balance delay. In the process of making drinking water should be done step-by-step production process is handled hygienically, because bottled water products consumed directly by the human body. Drinking water production capacity is 5250 bottles per day, equivalent to 218 boxes, but the target is the company charged, equivalent to 7000 bottles of 291 boxes per day. With the method of determining the regional approach has obtained the standard time of each process for each work station and increase worker productivity, increased production capacities of 218 boxes / day to 295 boxes / day after the repair, companies gain efficiency by 35%

Abstract

Cleanroom in the pharmaceutical industry is needed to eliminate a wide range of contamination, due to the room around the building materials, machinery equipment production, human and others generate millions of particles that can interfere with the quality of manufactured drugs. Cleanroom in the pharmaceutical industry is based on the ISO 14644-1 standard that is in a class of E (100.000), which can be interpreted very clean conditioned room to awake from particles and microbial contamination. The number of particles in the E (100.000) class at the size of 0,5 µm limited number of 3520000 particles/m3 were obtained from the results of the design of 446771,3769 particles/m3, for a particle size of 5 µm particle number 29000 particles/m3 is obtained by 47760,7813 partikel /m3. Raw material weighing room temperature in the desain room 21 ºC and 40% RH, and the outside temperature is 32,72 ºC and 72,77% RH. The results obtained design cooling load is 17329,077 Watt, with velocity distribution of air in the airway of 0,118 m/s in air requirement of 99,615 l/s, so that the requirements for class E (100.000) according to ISO 14644-1 to the mixed flow of air velocity.
