Abstract

In this article, how to manufacture indexes newspaper articles annotated using Microsoft Access 2010 in the Office of Arsip, Perpustakaan, dan Dokumentasi Kota Padang. newspaper articles index creation is done against a newspaper that contained in the Office of Arsip, Perpustakaan, dan Dokumentasi Kota Padang. Data obtained from newspaper clippings from the Library at the Arsip, Perpustakaan, and Dokumentasi Kota Padang in January and February were 63 titles article. Data in the form of newspaper articles Kompas, Singgalang, Haluan, and Padang Ekpres. Details of the findings are the 21 titles of the Kompas, from Singgalang 17 titles, 13 titles from the Haluan, and 12 titles from Padang Ekspres. Process in the preparation of an annotated index of newspaper articles were collected four newspaper titles, selecting articles, create a description of the article, make annotations, specify keywords, create indexes newspaper articles, indexing newspaper articles, newspaper articles compiled an annotated index, typing. After doing indexing articles, article index can then be copied into the program Microsoft Access 2010.   Keywords: Ms. Acces; newspaper; article

Abstract

In this paper discussed how to manufacture Directory boarding house Princess in Around Campus of the State University of Padang. This paper aims to determine the process of making Directory boarding house Princess in Around Campus Universitas Negeri Padang with the aim to develop and design a collection of library services in the form of a directory to make it easier to find information on homes that provide services rental house or boarding house for girls in around the campus of the State University of Padang. Methods of this paper is using descriptive method done with interview and collect data directly to the field, namely by visiting each boarding houses located around the campus of the State University of Padang. Based on analyzing the data, we can conclude that in the process of making the Directory boarding house Princess in Around campus State University of padang takes steps as follows: (1) collect data; (2) noted the existing data and then inputted into a Microsoft Word; (3) determine the subject; (4) the classification or grouping; and (5) the preparation of a directory.Keyword: Directories, boarding house, UNP.

Abstract

The aim of this research is (1) designing and regenerating a printed directory or in the form of directory book which can be brought to gain infromation about    Indragiri-Akuaman river tourism guides in Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat Direktorat Jendral Sumber Daya Air Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera V, 2) describing the geographical condition of the Indragiri-Akuaman river region as well as possible, (3) to give solution from the writer's limitation and effort that arised through the limitation of research in making information directory of Indragiri-Akuaman river area at Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat Direktorat Jendral Sumber Daya Air Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera V. Abstract

AbstractTransfer of media to digital format is an alternative choice to preserve the information content of library materials, because this format can be stored on relatively large capacity and durable storage media. In making this Media Transfer guide the Nitro Pro 8 application is used. The reason is that it is easier in the process of transferring information from word to pdf, as well as the availability of various menu options used to support the transfer process. Nitro Pro 8 itself is a software that we can use to read, create, edit and share PDF files. Nitro Pro allows us to process the batch file to convert documents to pdf. Nitro Pro is often called Nitro Pro PDF, which means a very good software for handling PDF files.Keywords: transfer, digital, Nitro Pro 8, library

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas tentang upaya yang dilakukan Indonesian Visual Art Archives (IVAA) sebagai promotor gerakan sadar arsip kesenian dan kebudayaan. Hal yang melatarbelakangi gerakan ini adalah masih minimnya perhatian pemerintah dalam mengelola serta melestarikan arsip seni rupa. Padahal pekerjaan seniman dalam melakukan kerja seni tidak hanya menciptakan karya seni tetapi juga mendokumentasikan proses berkeseniannya. Namun hasil dari proses pendokumentasian inilah yang selanjutnya dapat dikatakan sebagai arsip dan perlu dilakukan berbagai upaya untuk menciptakan interaksi dengan masyarakat, dan memudahkan masyarakat atau penikmat seni untuk memahami karya seni yang diciptakan oleh seniman. Berbagai  upaya dilakukan IVAA dalam menumbuhkan gerakan sadar arsip kesenian dan kebudayaan pada masyarakat. Salah satunya melalui kegiatan Festival Arsip, dengan mengadakan beberapa kegiatan yang melibatkan interaksi antara pengunjung dan kegiatan pengarsipan.

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk meneliti proses pengembangan koleksi pada perpustakaan STITMA Yogyakarta. Metode yang dgunakan yaitu menggunakan metode observasi, dan wawancara. Observasi merupakan cara pengumpulan data dengan melakukan pengamatan secara langsung. Wawancara merupakan cara pengumpulan data dengan cara tanya jawab dengan pustakawan. Objek yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini yaitu proses atau tahapan dalam kegiatan pengembangan koleksi yang dilaksanakan perpustakaan. Wawancara dilakukan dengan karyawan yang mengurus perpustakaan dan penulis sendiri juga terjun langsung selama dua bulan bekerja di instansi tersebut. Hail dari penelitian ini adalah pada proses pengembangan koleksi di perpustakaan STITMA Yogyakarta dari 7 proses pengembangan koleksi hanya melakukan empat tahapan dari empat tahapan secara umum. Empat tahapan tersebut antara lain yaitu melakukan analisis masyarakat pengguna, seleksi bahan pustaka, pengadaan bahan pustaka, dan penyiangan bahan bahan pustaka.

Abstract

A good library management is very much determined by a system built in the library. One of the subsystems that has to come into attention is the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). With a well-developed SOP (valid, systematic, and clear), a library can operate well in supporting the works of the librarians. One of the most important SOPs in the works of library is the preservation SOP. A good preservation SOP is a standard which can be used by all libraries nationwide. This research is aimed at producing a preventive preservation SOP to prevent biota damage in the forms of flowchart. This research was conducted at Dispusipda library, UPT LIPI library and Goethe-Institute library. Methods used in this research is action research due to implementative actions at some libraries. This research produces a design of SOP on preservation part on printed collections which function as working guidance to lay down work procedure on an SOP guidance and decreasing errors by the librarians, to improve work effiency and quality of the libraries. This SOP design is made to meet three parts involved in maintenance of printed collections, from preventive care to curative repairment actions on printed collections. According to these three flows, an SOP design is made with main SOP, preservation SOP for biota prevention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat penerimaan aplikasi perpustakaan digital iJogja oleh pengguna menggunakan teori pendekatan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dengan melakukan analisis terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Semakin besar faktor-faktor tersebut berpengaruh, maka akan semakin tinggi pula penerimaan pengguna terhadap aplikasi iJogja.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 288 kuesioner yang disebar kepada responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan contoh permodelan Partial Least Square (PLS). Analisis data dengan melakukan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan program SmartPLS versi 3.0.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penerimaan pengguna terhadap aplikasi iJogja cukup baik. Hal ini berdasarkan dari 8 (delapan) hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini terdapat 7 (tujuh) hipotesis yang diterima dan hanya satu hipotesis yang ditolak. Hipotesis yang diterima yaitu: Pengaruh Relevance Terhadap Perceived Usefulness, Pengaruh Screen Design Terhadap Perceived Easy of Use, Pengaruh Mobility Terhadap Perceived Easy of Use, Pengaruh Perceived Easy of Use Terhadap Perceived Usefulness, Pengaruh Perceived Usefulness Terhadap Intention to Use, Pengaruh Perceived Easy of Use Terhadap Intention to Use, dan Pengaruh Intention to Use Terhadap Actual System Use. Sementara hipotesis yang ditolak yaitu Pengaruh Subjective Norms Terhadap Perceived Usefulness yang menunjukkan hasil tidak signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan bagaimana kode etik pustakawan sebagai aturan profesional bagi profesi pustakawan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kajian literatur (Library Research) dari berbagai sumber terpercaya melalui buku, jurnal dan sumber tertulis lainnya yang mendukung pembahasan isi artikel penelitian ini. Hasil pembahasan ini  bahwa kode etik pustakawan harus dipahami oleh anggota profesi, agar anggota profesi pustakawan dalam melaksanakan tugas selalu bersikap ramah, sopan santun dan suka menolong kepada pengguna, teman sejawat, anggota profesi yang lain dan masyarakat. Dengan isi yang terkandung didalam kode etik pustakawan diharapkan agar para anggota pustakawan dapat melaksanakan  aturan yang tertulis dalam kode etik pustakawan dan mempraktikkan dalam melaksanakan tugas.

Abstract

Law of Republic of Indonesia Number 43/2009 concerning archives mandates that the university archival implementation is the responsibility of the university itself. Therefor the preparation of competent human resource in archives is very important It is predicted that there are universities or higher education institutions that have not yet been fully considered the importance of archivist competency. This research aims to determine the grand design of developing competency on archival human resources. This research uses qualitative approach. The data resources used is The  Regulation of The Head  of Indonesian National Archives number 12 year of 2017 concerning the  grand design of archival human resources development. The grand design of archival human resources development includes archival human resources development strategy; the pattern and implementation of archival human resources development; performance and funding targets. The strategy of archival human resources development is held through improving performance management and improving the quality of archival human resources. The pattern of competency-based archival human resources development is implemented to develop integrated competency management from recruitment, selection, training dan development, assessment, remuneration, and career. Fostering process of archival human resources is carried out through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. ANRI construct the performance target of archiving human resources development which is measured and evaluated periodically at the end of the current year. The fund resource of archival human resources development comes from the state budget which is carried out in accordance with statutory provisions. Funding for developing archival human resources can also be done through financial support from local governments, state-owned business entities/local-owned business entities and state universities. The The urgency of this research is to find out a grand design of a systematic well-planned archival human resources development that having major impact on developing universities as an educational institution for young generation.
