Abstract

ABSTRACT This is article of research is to description the effects of the using the inquiry learning strategy towards the skills of writing a paragraph argument of the ten grade students at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. Based on the results of data analysis it was concluded the following three points. First, the skills of writing a paragraph argument of students of class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang without using inquiry learning strategy is located on qualifications is more than enough (68,95). Second, the skills of writing a paragraph argument of students of class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang using inquiry learning strategy is located on qualifications is good (80,95). Third, based on the result of uji-t, there is effects of inquiry learning strategy towards the skills of writing a paragraph argument of students of class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang because taritmatic> t table (4,48> 167). Kata kunci: pengaruh, strategi pembelajaran inkuiri, dan paragraf argumentasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is aimed to describe the influence Think Talk Write technique the of argumentation essay writing skill of student class X SMA Negeri 8 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. The results of this research are three: (1) argumentation essay writing skills before using Think Talk Write technique of student class X SMA Negeri 8 Padang are in qualifying Enough (C) with an average value of 62,72, (2) argumentation essay writing skills after using Think Talk Write technique of student class X SMA Negeri 8 Padang are in qualification Good (B) with an average value of 77,96, and (3) argumentation essay writing skills of student class X SMA Negeri 8    Padang after using Think Talk Write technique better than before using Think Talk Write technique.      Kata Kunci: pengaruh, teknik think talk write, karangan argumentasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to (1) describe grade ability in writing one act plays of students class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Padang without application cooperative learning TPS type, (2) describe grade ability in writing one act plays of students class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Padang  with application cooperative learning TPS type, (3) describe the effect of the use of cooperative learning TPS type, toward students’ ability in writing one act plays of students class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Padang . The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. There are three results of the research are (1) the students’ ability in writing one act plays without application cooperative learning TPS type at class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Padang  is more fairly and grades LdC with average 74,51, (2) the students’ ability in writing one act plays with application cooperative learning TPS type at class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Padang is good and grades B with average 83,67, and (3) based on t-test, alternative hypothesis (H1) is gained at the significant phase 95% and degrees of freedom (df) = (n1+n2)-2 because tcount> t-table (4,10>1,70). Kata kunci : pengaruh, kooperatif, think pair share (TPS), dan naskah drama

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is as follows. First, describe the interest in reading short story class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar. Second, describe the skills to write a short story class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar. Third, analyze the relationship between interest in reading short stories and short story writing skills class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar. The research data in the form of a score of interest in reading short stories and short story writing skills scores class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar.The results of this study are the following there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in reading short stories and short story writing skills class IX students of SMP N 3 Batusangkar at significant level of 95% and a degree of freedom (df) = n-1 because thitung> ttable ie 6,66> 1 70. Kata kunci: hubungan, minat baca cerita pendek, keterampilan menulis cerita                       pendek

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aim at describing the  effect of inquiry teaching and learning strategy using audiovisual toward student’s argumentative writing. Method used is experimental research. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that. First, student’s writing argumnetative skill at grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pua especially control class is moderate (66,91). Second, student’s writing argumentative skill at grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pua especially experimente class is good (81,94). Third, inquiry teaching and learning strategy inquiry audiovisual influential to ward student’s writing argumentative skill at grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pua because t counted is bigger than t table (7,28>1,698). Kata kunci: pengaruh, strategi pembelajaran inkuiri, argumentasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article aims to look at the effects of describe the effect of the use of cooperative learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) aided image media against the argument essay writing skills class X SMA Negeri 5 Padang. This research data is the result of the test scores argument essay writing skills of students before and after using cooperative learning model TTW assisted image media. Instruments used in this research that tests the performance. The results showed that: First, the argument essay writing skills of students before using cooperative learning model TTW aided by media images that are in the qualification Fair (C) with an average value of 64.06. Second, the argument essay writing skills of students after using cooperative learning model TTW aided by media images that are in the qualification Good (B) with an average value of 81.08. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe the development of learning modules for writing exposition text Problem Based Learning model with a valid, practical, and effective . This type of research was the development of research methods of research and development (R&D). This study uses a model of the development of Four-D (4-D) were simplified into 3-D. The results of the study is the product of the learning modules write exposition text model Problem Based Learning for students of class X. The level of validity of the module is 89.66 % with the category of very valid . Level module practicalities by teachers was 90.44 % categorized as very practical . Level practicalities of modules by students was 91.37% categorized as very practical . Abstract

ABSTRACT This The purpose of this research is (1) to describe of the said Indonesian language teacher in the process of teaching and learning in SMPN 1 Padang Ganting, (2) to describe the principle of good manners speaking Indonesian language teacher in the process of teaching and learning in SMPN 1 Padang Ganting, and (3) to describe the context of good manners speaking Indonesian language teacher in the process of teaching and learning in SMPN 1 Padang Ganting. This type of research is a qualitative with descriptive method. The technique used a records. The findings of this research is (1) there are five types of acts said that teachers use in the process of teaching and learning, that is (a) directive, (b) representative, (c) declaration, (d) expressive, and (e) commisive. (2) There are four kind of maxims good manners used, that is (a) wisdom, (b) the deal, (c) praise, and (d) humility. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe: (1) The form of expressive speech acts, (2) Strategy speak used in Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs. The research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The methods used in data collection is a method refer to. The data collection technique is a technique involved refer free conversation (SBLC), record, and record. Sources of data in this study is a Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs (ILK) in Trans7. Expressive utterances of speakers in Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs.Teknik used as the data used to analyze the data as follows: (1) Identify, (2) Classification, (3) Interpreting, (4) discussion, and (5) Draw conclusions. Based on the findings, we can conclude the following. (1) There are six forms of expressive speech acts used in Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs, namely expressive speech acts to thank, congratulate, apologize, praise, criticize, and invited. Expressive speech acts the most predominant use is expressive speech acts criticized and least used is expressive speech acts apologize. (2) There are four strategies bertutur used in Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs, which speak frankly without further ado in the context of the speaker more powerful solidarity is already familiar, speak frankly with the preamble of politeness positive in the context of the speaker more powerful solidarity not yet familiar , speak frankly with the preamble of negative politeness in the context of solidarity is more powerful speaker yet familiar, and spoken vaguely in the context of a more powerful speaker yet familiar solidarity. ABSTRACT This article was written that has purpose to describe the kind of social critic in the Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2014. The research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Sources of data in this study is the short stories contained in the book of Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2014, published by Kompas, Jakarta, second edition, August 2015. Social criticism found in this study, namely (1) the problem of poverty, (2) the problem of evil, (3) the problem of disorganization family, (4) problems young people in modern society, (5) the violation of the norms of society, (6) problems of population, (7) environmental problems, (8) the issue of religion and belief, and (9) the problem of bureaucracy. Kata kunci: kritik sosial, cerpen, kualitatif, deskriptif
