Â ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this research is three. First, describing the procedure of writing the text of a class VII junior high School 14 Padang before using modelling techniques. Second, describing the procedure of writing the text of Class VII in SMP Negeri 14 Padang after using modeling technique. Third, describing the influence of use of modeling techniques to the skill level of writing the text procedures class VII SMP Negeri 14 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. This research draft is one group Pretests and posttest design. The population in this study is a grade VII student at SMP Negeri 14 Padang enrolled in Lesson 2018/2019. The samples in this study were determined using purposive sampling techniques. This research variable is the skill of writing the procedure text before and after using the modeling technique of class VII SMP Negeri 14 Padang. This research Data is the test score of the text writing procedure before and after using the modeling technique of class VII SMP Negeri 14 Padang. The Data is analyzed with a percentage formula, average count formula, and test-T. The research instrument is a test of work, which is the test of the text of the procedure before and after using the modeling technique.Â Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik Pemodelan, Teks ProsedurÂ

AbstractÂ The purpose of this study was to describe: (1) the skill of listening to the text of the observation report, (2) the skill of writing observational report text, and (3) analyzing the contribution of observing the text of the observation report to the observation writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas Pesisir Selatan Regency. The type of research used is quantitative and descriptive-analytical methods. The data collection technique was carried out through listening skills tests and test of observations texts of 45 people samples taken by proportional-random sampling. The results of the study showed: (1) writing skills of observational report text were in good qualification by achieving an average score of 81.84 in the range of values of 0 to 100, (2) the listening skill of observational report text were in a very good qualification achieving an average value of 90.00 in the range 0 to Â 100, and (3) the contribution of the skill of listening to the of observational report textÂ to writing observational report text was Â equal to 31.03% among class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.Â Kata Kunci: Menyimak, Menulis, Kontribusi, Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi

ABSTRACTÂ There are three aims of this study. First, describe the skills of reading comprehention to the news of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Padang. Second, describe the writing text skills of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Padang. Third, describe the correlation of reading comprehention to the news with the writing text skills of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Padang. TheÂ type of this research is quantitative in terms of descriptive methods. The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study was the eighth grade students of the SMP Negeri 7 Padang which was registered in the 2018/2019 school year, it was 254 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 15% of the population, namely 40 students. The research data is in the form of scores on the skills test results of reading comprehention to the news and scores on the results of the test writing news text skills. The instrument of this study is an objective test to measure news reading comprehention skills and performance tests to measure news text writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, the skills to write news texts ofÂ VIII grade students of the SMP Negeri 7 Padang is in accordance with the Good qualifications (B) with an averange value 81,25. Second, the skill of reading comprehention to the news text of VIII grade students of the SMP Negeri 7 Padang in accordance with Good qualifications (B) with an averange value 81,37. Third, there is a significant correlation betwen reading comprehention skills and news text writing skills of VIII grade students of the SMP Negeri 7 Padang on n-1 freedom degrees and 95% significant level. ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study consists of three things. First, to describe the skills to read the report text of the observation results of class VII students at SMP Negeri 21 Padang. Second, to describe the writing skills of report observation texts of class VII students of SMP Negeri 21 Padang. Third, to describe the correlation between the skills to read the text of the observation report and the text writing skills of the observation results of the seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 21 Padang.This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design of this study is correlational. The population of this study was seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 21 Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year as many as 219 people and spread in seven classes. The sample of this study amounted to 42 people who were determined using proportional random sampling technique. The research data was obtained through two types of tests, namely objective tests and performance tests. Objective tests are used to collect data on the skills to read the text of the observation report while the performance test is used to collect data on the skills to write the text of the observation report.Â Kata kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca, Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi

AbstractÂ The purpose of this study was to describe the language and spelling characteristics in the explanatory text of class XI students of SMA 1 Payakumbuh. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection is done through documentation studies. The subjects in this study were class XI students of SMA 1 Payakumbuh. The stage of analyzing the data in this study is as follows. First, identify common elements of data. Second, identifying data based on the theory that is a reference. Data identification is done by making a format for identifying linguistic characteristics and explanatory text spelling. Third, analyze data. Fourth, interpret the data that has been analyzed. Fifth, conclude the results of the data description by writing a report. The results of this study are that there are 22 students who have not used the language characteristics of the explanatory text and 8 students have used the explanatory text language characteristics. The linguistic characteristics found in this study are 3, namely, information on time, chronological conjunction and causality conjunction. The time was found as many as 53 pieces, 15 chronological conjunctions and 54 causality conjunctions. In addition, many found errors in the use of spelling in the form of capital letters, periods and commas. The error of using capital letters has 28 errors, 15 misuse of the dot and 158 errors in the use of commas from 810 sentences and 178 paragraphs.Â Kata kunci : Ciri Kebahasaan, Ejaan, Teks Eksplanasi

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to describe the type of language style based on sentence structure and based on whether or not the meaning and function of the language style contained in the anthology of the â€œCermin Waktuâ€ short story by Indonesian Language and Literature Education Students 2011 Faculty of Language and Art, State University of Padang. The method used is descriptive. The approach in this research is the stylistic. Based on the research conducted the type of language style based on sentence structure found 4 types of language style, namely climax, anticlimax, repetition, and antithesis. The type of language style is based on whether or not direct meaning is of two kinds, namely rhetoricalÂ and the style of figurative language. The rhetorical style of the language is found in 7 types of language styles, namely apostrophes, asindenton, polisindenton, euphemism, pleonasm, rhetorical questions, and hyperbole. The figurative language style is found in 4 types of language styles, namely equality, metaphor, personification, and cynicism and sarcasm. The language style function contained in the anthology of the â€œCermin Waktuâ€ short story is found in 5 types of language style function, namely concreting 25 speeches, asserting 88 utterances, beautifying 24 speeches, smoothing 2 speeches, and insinuating 4 speeches. ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study is three, namely, first, describing the writing skills of the fable text of class VII students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang before using based on CIRC models. Second, describe the writing skills of the fable text of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Padang after using based on CIRC models. Third, describing the effect of based on CIRC models on the writing skills of the fable text in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. There are two data of this study, namely the score of the results of the test writing skills in the fable text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 before and after using the based on CIRC models. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded three things, namely first, the writing skills of the fable text of class VII SMP Negeri 8 Padang before using the based CIRC models in the Enough qualifications (C) with an average value of 64,38. Second, the report writing skills of the fable results of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padang after using the based on the CIRC models in the Good qualifications (B) with an average value of 83,60. Third, there is a significant effect in the use of based on the CIRC models on the report writing skills of the fable text results of class VII students at SMP Negeri 8 Padang because of the tcount> ttable (7.63 > 1.70).Â Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition, Fabel

ABSTRACTÂ This study aims to describe two things, namely to explain the structure and diction of the report text of the observation results of class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. This type of research is qualitative using descriptive methods. The data from this study are student texts. The data sources used in this study are documents. The instrument of this research is the researchers themselves. Data is analyzed by describing, analyzing, and discussing data based on theory. The results of this study are as follows. First, in writing the text of the report on the observation results of class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman, they have used three text structures from the observation report. The structure is a general definition, part description and conclusion. This is evident from all the report texts on observations that have been analyzed, most students have written observational report texts fully using general definitions, part descriptions, and conclusions. Second, judging from the use of diction, students have used diction correctly. From the text analyzed students are more dominant precisely in diction writing, although there are also errors in formation, wrong writing, and the use of incorrect meanings in the observation report text by class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman.Â Kata kunci : Â Kualitatif, Menulis, Teks, Struktur, Diksi

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the environmental field vocabulary mastery of grade VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast. Second, it describes the writing skills text beritasiswa class VIII MTS. n. 2 SelatanKetiga Coast, describing the correlation field environmental vocabulary mastery with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used is a korelasional design. Population research is grade VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast that are listed in the 2018/2019, i.e., 223 students. The research sample is determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, namely 45 pupils. The results of the research there are three. First, mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 located on the southern coast of qualifications either (B) with an average value of 78.81. Secondly, the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 located on the southern coast of qualifications either (B) with an average of 79.54. Third, there is a correlation of mastery of the vocabulary of the field of the environment with the text of the news writing skills of students of class VIII MTS. n. 2 southern coast on a 95% confidence level with n-1 degrees of freedom. the value of thitung > ttabel (5.01 > 1.62).Â Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Kosakata Bidang Lingkungan Hidup, Menulis Teks Berita

ABSTRACTÂ The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the mastery of the vocabulary environment in class VII Padang Panjang Middle School 2. Second, describe the text writing skills of class VII students at Padang Panjang Middle School 2. Third, describe the contribution of mastery of environmental vocabulary to the text writing skills of seventh grade students at Padang Panjang Middle School 2. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used in this study is the design contribution. The results of this study are three. First, mastery of vocabulary in class VII Padang Panjang SMP Negeri 2 has good qualifications (B) with an average score of 78.48. Second, the text writing skills of class VII students of Padang Panjang Middle School 2 are in good qualification (B) with an average score of 76.49. Third, there is a contribution to mastery of environmental vocabulary on the text writing skills of seventh grade students at Padang Panjang Middle School 2 at 59.44%.Â Kata kunci: Kontribusi, Kosakata Bidang Lingkungan, Menulis, Teks Deskripsi
