Abstract

Gesture recognition is a part of artificial intelligence in the field of computer vision. With gesture recognition, the computer is able to understand the movements captured on the camera/webcam. The benefits of gesture recognition are many, one of which is what researchers are doing regarding hand-tracking gesture recognition of the human right-hand finger to adjust the volume control on a computer or laptop. Based on this background, this research is intended to apply machine learning developed from the OpenCV and MediaPipe libraries to carry out the process of training and testing finger gestures as gestures to control one of the functions in Windows, one of which is volume control. This process uses the OpenCV Library and MediaPipe because they are capable of multiprocessing with real-time data, so the gesture identification process is faster and more accurate. When the camera/webcam captures the frame of the movement of the human's right-hand finger gesture, an augmentation process is carried out and the provision of keypoint localization landmarks is carried out for each knuckle. In this study, only the fingertip landmarks and index finger landmarks were recognized. Machine learning will perform calculations from the distance between the tip of the thumb and the tip of the forefinger which is used to determine changes in the volume of the sound. From the test results of nine trials with different finger poses, 88.89% was obtained. One of the test results failed to read finger movement gestures, due to the landmark position of the tip of the index finger which was closed with the other fingers.

Abstract

Green House is a construction building that functions to manipulate environmental conditions to create the desired environmental conditions in order to optimize plant maintenance, environmental conditioning carried out in the greenhouse includes temperature and humidity regulation, soil temperature and humidity regulation and good watering. The problem that occurs is the uneven distribution of air and soil temperature and humidity in all greenhouse areas which will ultimately affect plant growth in that area. This can be overcome by adding smart devices to the greenhouse. Analysis of temperature and humidity in the greenhouse aims to maximize the microclimate for plant growth. The analysis was carried out by measuring the conditions of temperature, air humidity and soil moisture without using automatic environmental temperature and humidity control devices. Then an analysis of environmental conditions is carried out by adding sensors and adding sprayers and fans connected to sensors measuring soil and air temperature and humidity. In this study used temperature and humidity sensors air DHT11, soil moisture sensor YL 69. The sensor is connected to the Arduino UNO microcontroller to carry out commands to the sprayer and fan. Before designing an automation system, an analysis is carried out on the range of fans and sprayers used. From the analysis carried out, the greenhouse area is divided into 8 measurement lines. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that by using automatic temperature and humidity control devices for air and soil, the distribution of temperature and humidity becomes more pronounced, the resulting microclimate can support plant growth. Before the automation, the distribution of the greenhouse microclimate was not evenly distributed at every point and every time, whereas after the automation, the distribution became even. Optimization can be done even better if you pay attention to the needs of plants based on the type of plant being cultivated.

Abstract

In this digital era, the development of information technology increasingly offers various types of innovations aimed at the convenience of every user. The university database application is an application that is used to manage student data, faculties, courses, majors and student grades. There are 2 application testing methods, namely white box testing and black box testing. For testing this software will be tested using the black box method with the equivalence point technique. Black Box testing does not require source code. Equivalent partitioning is a test method based on the performance of input data in a performance data application system, where each input menu is tested and also grouped according to its function, valid or not. The purpose of this method is to detect application errors so that they can be fixed more quickly. The test results contained 35 test cases from the university database application and 4 test cases obtained were not as expected. Although there are 31 successful test cases, there are things that need to be improved from the output generated by the application

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology is currently very rapid, so it is either used or utilized in the world of education, which has a positive impact. On the other hand, technology can also hurt children under 6 years of age who are still in developmental stages, such as being lazy to move and not interacting with the outside world, so the desire to learn at school and home will decrease. One example of good learning media for children is Augmented Reality (AR) technology. AR is a technology that combines two-dimensional and or three-dimensional virtual objects into a real three-dimensional environment and then projects these virtual objects in real-time. This AR technology can insert certain information into the virtual world and display it in the real world. AR technology helps to create a moving 3D object. This is the background for making applications that help introduce technology into books with the theme of Suro and Boyo folklore which can be used as learning tools and an introduction to the origins of regions in Indonesia. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method was implemented in this application. The main target of this application is Kindergarten-aged children, which has been implemented to determine the application acceptance rate of 70%.

Abstract

To increase eggs production, the management of laying hens must be considered, one of the method is to apply the temperature and ammonia gas levels, with suitable for critria for laying hens. it is necessary to monitor the temperature and ammonia gas in the laying hen cage, this method can fulfilled by implementing monitoring with the Internet of Things (IOT) using Arduino and monitoring it with a website based on the Laravel framework and storing sensor results in the database, to send sensor results to website can uses ESP8266 with the HTTP protocol. The tests in this study were divided into three parts with connectivity, functionality, and blackbox tests. The connectivity test ESP8266 resulted is able to connect to the website with HTTP Proctocol. Sensor functionality test shows that the sensor can detect temperature and ammonia gas levels in the cage. The blackbox test shows that the website can store and display sensor readings

Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan aspek keamanan suatu data dapat dilakukan dengan pengendalian teknik kriptografi. Algoritma AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) merupakan kriptografi yang dapat digunakan untuk melindungi data atau informasi dengan melakukan mengenkripsi dan mendekripsi blok data sepanjang 128 bit dengan panjang kunci 128 bit, 192 bit, atau 256 bit. Proses pengamanan data dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Chiper Block Chaining (CBC) dalam mode operasinya. Dalam persiapan untuk melakukan proses enkripsi yang digunakan adalah sebuah file dokumen pdf. Data 16 byte pertama dibaca sebagai blok pertama untuk proses enkripsi dengan metode CBC. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu dapat mengimplementasikan program aplikasi menggunakan algoritma Advanced Encryption Standard mode Chiper Block Chaining dengan melakukan enkripsi dan dekripsi file dokumen.

Abstract

Animals are one of the living things that have various types. Grouping types of animals based on similarities and differences in characteristics owned is one of the important activities carried out To make it easier to compare, recognize, study certain types of animals and be able to find out kinship relationships between animals, So if a new type of animal is found that does not yet have a name, it will be easier for us to give a name to the animal based on the type and based on the group. In research on the classification of animal species in zoos that have multi-class, the best classification is obtained by applying gradient boosting parameters with n_estimators of 50, max_depth 3, sub-sample of 1.0, learning rate of 0.1, and using criterion friedman Mse. And by implementing Split validation or division between training data by 80% for training data and 20% for testing data. The results stated that the proposed model was better than some other models that had also been tested with an accuracy value of 93.75%, recal of 94%, precision of 96% and MSE to measure the average magnitude of error in a series of classifications of 12.5%, the smaller the MSE value, the better it would be in classifying.

Abstract

Currently, the development of information technology makes it easier for teachers and students to access and use learning resources for mastering learning materials or materials. In applying interactive learning media by utilizing audio or voice-based application technology, it is an application that is very useful for reducing boredom, and boredom in terms of learning. The use of this technology application can be done at the elementary school SDN 175740 Aeksiansimun, the ability of students to recognize letters and numbers is still meager, some students don't even understand it at all, tend to get bored and don't pay attention to the explanations of the teaching staff resulting in a decrease in the learning abilities of the school's students. In this study, the learning media that will be produced is an android - based multimedia learning to recognize letters and numbers. The development of the learning system uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method in creating an animation system that emphasizes, short and fast development cycles. the results show a good influence on student learning and increase student learning interest.

Abstract

The E-ticket website is an E-government innovation by the Indonesian government that aims to help people pay ticket fines, avoid extortion, and increase accountability, transparency and fairness. The Attorney General's Office for Batu, East Java Province, has implemented this innovation, but the results have not been optimal. This is due to a lack of Human Resources from the community as users and the lack of socialization about the importance of implementing E-tickets. This study aims to find out how E-government can be implemented at the Batu State Prosecutor's Office in East Java Province through the E-tilang website. In addition, it will also identify factors that support and hinder the implementation of E-government. This analysis uses the successful elements of e-government development according to the Harvard JFK School of Government, namely Support, Capacity, and Value. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the Support variable is good, because support, allocation of human resources, and outreach have been carried out by the Batu State Prosecutor's Office. Variable Capacity is also sufficient, with available financial resources and technological infrastructure. However, the Value variable is not yet optimal, due to the low level of public participation as well as technical problems and features for refunding overpaid fines on the E-ticket website which are not yet available. This has become an obstacle in the implementation of E-government through E-tickets at the Batu State Prosecutor's Office, East Java Province.

Abstract

Ear Nose Throat Disease (ENT) is a disease that affects many Indonesian people. Beji Mulyo Village is a village in the Tungkal Jaya sub-district, Banyuasin district, Palembang City. This village only has a health center and a midwife as the head of health in the village. The problem experienced by Beji Mulyo Village is the lack of experts to treat ENT diseases. Besides that, to find an ENT specialist, the community has to travel quite a distance to find a hospital in the city. Therefore it is necessary to implement an expert system with the certainty factor method with the aim of being able to help and facilitate the community in providing diagnostic information related to diseases and initial treatment to detect diseases that can be given to people affected by ear disease. The results of testing the system from 20 patient data with the application of the certainty factor method obtained an accuracy rate above 98%.
