Abstract

Pasar Petisah is one of the markets in Medan City where PD Pasar requires traders to apply health protocols during the July purchase of goods. This study aims to determine education, knowledge, attitudes, social environment, and sources of information on Trader Compliance with the Implementation of the Covid-19 Health Protocol in Petisah Market, Medan City, North Sumatra. This type of research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional study design. The research sample consisted of 83 people. The results of this study were tested statistically using the Chi Square Test with a 95% confidence level using SPSS software. The results showed that the P-Value for education was 0.000 (0.000 <0.05), the P-Value for knowledge was 0.004 (0.004 <0.05), the P-Value for attitude was 0.000 (0.000 <0.05), the P-value for knowledge -The social environment value is 0.143 (0.143> 0.05), the P-value of the information source is 0.296 (0.296 <0.05). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between education, knowledge, and attitudes towards Trader Compliance with the Implementation of the Covid-19 Health Protocol in Pasar Petisah Kota Medan, North Sumatra, while the Social Environment and sources of information are not related to the Implementation of the Covid-19 Health Protocol in the Petisah Market, Medan City, North Sumatra. It is recommended that traders and the public are expected to increase their knowledge (understanding) about Covid-19 and continue to carry out the Covid-19 health protocol wherever they are in order to avoid the transmission of the Covid-19 disease.

Abstract

The incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in Indonesia ranges from 1% to 3% of all pregnancies. Hyperemesis gravidarum can cause problems in pregnancy such as anemia, while anemia itself can result in shock due to lack of nutritional intake, all of which are eaten and drunk. This study aims to determine the relationship between adaptation and psychological factors with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the first trimester in the Tanjung Pasir Health Center area. This research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The study was conducted in the Tanjung Pasir 2020 Public Health Center area from March to August 2020. The population in this study were 108 pregnant women in the first trimester at the Hamidah Clinic and a sample of 52 people. Data were obtained using a questionnaire, data analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analysis. Bivariate analysis using the Chi Square statistical test at α = 5%. The results showed that there was no relationship between adaftation factors (anemia and primigravida) with hyperemesis gravidarum, while psychological factors (unwanted pregnancy, work pressure, income and family harmony) had a relationship with hyperemesis gravidarum. The conclusion of this study is there is a relationship between psychological factors and the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the first trimester in the Tanjung Pasir Puskesmas area. It is suggested that the respondents should increase their knowledge about how to prevent and overcome hyperemesis gravidarum.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a respiratory disorder that causes illness ranging from mild to severe symptoms caused by the Corona Virus. Riau Province was one of the areas affected by COVID-19 in Indonesia with a total of 66 positive cases as of May 7, 2020. Students are one of the groups at risk of contracting COVID-19. For student group is very important to prevent groups of students in their 20s who look healthy but can be a source of transmission to families who do not prevent COVID-19. This study was aimed to analyzed the behavioral factors of prevention of COVID-19 in STIKes Hang Tuah Pekanbaru students in 2020. This type of research was quantitative observational with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all students of STIKes Hang Tuah Pekanbaru with a sample size of 301 people. Data were collected used a questionnaire and analyzed by univariate and bivariate used the Chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, responses to personal protective equipment, and family support with the prevention of COVID 19 while there was no relationship between role of health workers with the prevention of COVID 19 among STIKes Hang Tuah Pekanbaru students. It is hoped that students will increase their knowledge and prevention of COVID 19.

Abstract

Although many parents have brought their children to health workers to get immunizations, only a small proportion of parents have knowledge of immunization. So that sometimes there is fear and anxiety after the child is immunized. This is due to the lack of knowledge from parents about immunization. From the background that has been described above, the researchers are interested in examining whether there is an effect of extension on the level of public knowledge in Desa Pasar VI Kualanamu about immunization. The method used in this study is a comparative study with a cross sectional approach. The research sample was taken by accidental sampling technique with a total of 60 respondents. This research was conducted in October 2020 in Pasar VI Kualanamu Village, Beringin District. Data collection was carried out according to health protocols. The instrument used was a questionnaire on respondent characteristics, a questionnaire about immunization knowledge. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Mann-Whitney Test. The results of this study indicate that extension activities are an effective means of conveying information to the public. The level of knowledge of respondents about immunization in the group of extension participants was dominated by respondents who had high scores. Meanwhile, the non-counseling participants were dominated by respondents who had low scores. Based on the results of the analysis using the Mann-Whitney Test to see the effect of counseling on the level of community knowledge in Desa Pasar VI Kualanamu about immunization, it was found that there was a difference in the level of knowledge of respondents about immunization between groups of extension participants and non-participants.

Abstract

Work productivity is influenced by many things, one of which depends on the availability of nutrients in the worker's body. In industrial workers, the lack of nutrient consumption that is often experienced is lack of fluids. Workers who worked in hot ambient temperatures for 10 days lost an average of 4.8 - 6 grams of sodium. However, lost body fluids cannot be replaced by simply drinking water during work. This research is a quantitative study with a quasy experimental study design with one group pretest-posttest design which aims to determine the effect of giving electrolyte carbohydrates on work productivity of brick-making workers. The population in this study were all brick-making workers in the drying section, a sample of 42 people who were taken using the total sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Paired Sample t-test with α = 0.05. The results showed that there was an effect of giving electrolyte carbohydrate drinks on the work productivity of brick making workers (p value = 0.000). Giving electrolyte carbohydrate drinks can increase energy intake and bind Na + to remain in the cells. Electrolyte carbohydrate drinks replace water and electrolytes lost through sweat during activity and replace carbohydrates used from liver and muscle reserves during activity. Therefore, the owner of the masonry factory is expected to be able to provide water and electrolyte carbohydrate drinks for workers so that workers' fluid needs are met, workers do not experience fatigue and eventually work productivity increases.

Abstract

Background: Stunting in children is one of the things that most significantly hinders human development, which globally affects around 162 million children under 5 years (WHO, 2017). Kupang Regency is one of the contributors to the stunting rate with a prevalence of 46.2% in 2013 and increasing in 2019 to 50.3% (SSGBI, 2019). Objectives: This study aims to determine the factors most associated with the incidence of stunting in children 6 -23 months in Kupang Regency. Methods: This study used secondary data from the results of the 2019 YASATU NGO survey with the simple random sampling method, with a sample of 166 children aged 6-23 months. The variables analyzed consisted of the dependent variable stunting, the independent variables: maternal age and education, age and sex of the child, breastfeeding status, minimum dietary diversity, minimum meal frequency, and minimum acceptable diet. Results: The bivariate analysis showed that there hadn’t a relationship between maternal age, maternal education, child age, child sex, breasfeeding status on the incidence of stunting. Meanwhile, there was a significant relationship between minimum dietary diversity (MDD), minimum meal frequency (MMF), minimum acceptable diet (MAD) on the incidence of stunting. The final result of multivariate analysis showed that minimum dietary diversity had the greatest Odds Ratio (OR=12,341; CI 95%=3,118-48,841). It was controlled by breastfeeding status, minimum meal frequency and minimum accpetable diet. Conclusion: Minimum dietary diversity is a dominant factor of stunting in children aged 6-23 months in Kupang Regency. Children who did not meet MDD have 12,3 times higher risk of stunting than those who meet MDD.

Abstract

Complaints of neck pain are a complaint on the part of the skeletal muscle as a result of forced movement and receiving heavy loads for a long time. Tailoring is one of the jobs that has a high risk of experiencing neck pain complaints. The rotation of the spine when the body is bending is a factor in neck pain complaints that are often complained of by tailors. This work activity will indirectly endanger health. This study aims to determine the relationship between workload and work period with complaints of neck pain in tailors at the Lubuk Pakam Training Institute in 2020. The type of research used is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The population of this study were 30 workers at the Lubuk Pakam training institute using the total sampling technique. Data collection by questionnaire. Data analysis used the chi-square test at the level of confidence level of 95% and α = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between workload (p = 0.024) and length of service (p-0.016) with complaints of neck pain in tailors at the Lubuk Pakam Training Institute. It is advisable for tailors to pay more attention to health and safety while working without forcing the body to work and regulating good working hours, adequate rest, stretching while working and paying attention to the dangers that can occur in the work environment

Abstract

Hemoglobin is a protein that is rich in iron. The function of Hb in the blood is to carry oxygen to the lungs, to the tissues and to carbon dioxide. Efforts to increase hemoglobin levels are related to the intake of foods containing iron, one of which is the provision of green bean cooking water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving mung bean boiled water to an increase in hemoglobin levels in office workers at Rs.Grandmed Lubuk Pakam. This research design with one group pre test-post test. The population in this study were employees of Rs.Grandmed. The number of research samples were 48 workers for the total sampling. Data analysis using paired t-test. The results showed that the HB level of workers before giving green bean cooking water was not normal, namely 39 (81.3%) respondents with an average of 1.81. The HB levels of workers after giving green bean boiled water were all normal HB categories, namely as many as 48 (100%) respondents with an average of 1.00. Data analysis using pre-test and post-test giving green bean boiled water in the experimental group showed results where the p value was 0.000, the value was 0.000 <0.05, so it could be said that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test values. hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of giving mung bean boiled water to an increase in hemoglobin levels in office workers at the Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Hospital. It is hoped that the hospital leadership will educate the workers that green bean cooking water can be used as an alternative to increasing hemoglobin levels.

Abstract

Hospital is a health service that has permanent facilities and infrastructure consisting of professional medical personnel to provide health services, continuous nursing care, and diagnose and provide disease treatment to patients in need. The hospital must fulfill superior facilities, have professional human resources, all of which are part of influencing services to provide satisfaction to patients. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of nurse services and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room of the GrandMed Hospital, using a descriptive survey research type. The sample of this study was 27 patients in the Ns 4D room using a questionnaire instrument. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results of the research obtained are those who have good quality nurse service 16 people (59.3%) and bad service quality 11 people (40.7%), 17 people who are satisfied (63.0%) and dissatisfied as many 10 people (37.0%), so that the results of the chi square statistical test obtained p value = 0.021, which means that there is a relationship between the quality of nurse services and satisfaction in the 4D patient room of Grandmed Hospital. From the results of this study, the advice that I can give is that nurse can apply the results of this research and make it into consideration for improving nursing services at the hospital not only in the 4D patient room but to all inpatient rooms at GrangMed Hospital. This research can be examined again with a larger number of samples and a larger number of rooms or hospitals in order to see more broadly about the effect of nursing services on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy can adversely affect the mother, especially during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. The high prevalence of anemia has negative consequences such as disturbances and inhibition of growth, both body and brain cells, lack of hemoglobin in the blood resulting in a lack of oxygen being under/transferred to body cells and to the brain. Pregnant women who suffer from anemia have the possibility to experience post partum bleeding. Tempe has higher quality and nutritional value. The fermentation process in tempe will activate the phytase enzyme which can break down phytic acid. With the breakdown of phytic acid, minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium and zinc become more available for use by the body. This study aims to determine the effect of tempeh milk consumption on increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in the independent practice of midwife zuhrah hh, Samudera District, North Aceh District in 2021. The method in this study is a quasi-experimental study, the design used is one group pre-posttest design. By using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average HB level in pregnant women before consuming tempeh milk was 9 gr% and 12 gr% after consuming tempeh milk. The results showed that the positive ranks value was 8.50, so it could be concluded that there was an increase in hemoglobin levels after being given tempeh milk compared to before being given tempeh milk, so the hypothesis decision was that there was a significant difference in the pre-postest respondents who were given tempeh milk. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It is hoped that health workers can provide information to all pregnant women so that they can consume tempe as a daily food ingredient.
