Abstract

.ABSTRAK One of the State Electricity Company Owned Enterprises as the manager of the electricity transmission to provide a service that can meet the expectations of stakeholders and to contribute improvement of community welfare. One form of services provided by Payment Online Point Bank (PPOB). Aim to provide convenience to customers as well as healthy competition among service providers. But on the other hand also often cause dissatisfaction for customers such as online payment Qf electricity bills. Formulated the research problem: What factors influence customer satisfaction in the dominant PT. PLN (Persero) Region North Sumatra Medan Branch Branches Lubuk Pakam Denai. This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that afibct customer satisfaction. Benqits of the research is to provide input to the PLN in order to provide a quality service. The study population was all PT customers. PLN (Persero) Region North Sumatra Medan Branch Branches Lubuk Pakam Denai. Sample of 125 respondents. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and documentation. Techniques of data analysis with factor analysis. The results and discussion show from the 25 variables obsemed prior to rotation there are 15 variables that have a correlation coejjficient above 0.5 setelahrotasi to 23 variables as the dominant factor affecting customer satisfaction. Of the 23 variables are grouped into eight factors: FACTOR 1 Understanding the customer needs, prompt service, friendliness of employees, Employee Attitude, a safe place of service and a sympathetic attitude. FACTOR 2: a genuine concern, timeliness of service and employee appearance. FACTOR 3: The equipment used and the speed of service, FACTOR 4: Response to complaints and handling problems, FACTOR 5: Caring stajji Presedur application and employee competence, FACTOR 6: I/Villingness to help employees, and recency of Conformity implementation tools, FACTOR 7: Information clear_ and the sense of security during the deal and FACTOR 8: Attention Patience qfiicers and employees. Conclusion there are 23 variables as the dominant factor affecting customer satisfaction, namely: understanding customer needs, fast service, friendly staff, the attitude of employees, a safe place of service, a sympathetic attitude, genuine concern, timeliness of service, appearance of employees, equipment used , speed if service, responsiveness to complaints, deal with, caring stafli Presedur application and competence of employees, employee willingness to help, Compliance execution, currency of‘ equipment, clear information, sense of security during the deal, the attention of officers and employees Patience. While suggestions to improve the quality of service that quickly and accurately through training and employee development, disseminating a manual system with computerized equipment online payment of electricity bills to provide greater convenience for customers and establishing mutually beneficial

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze Employee Commitment and Communication to Employee Performance at Cooperative CU Mandiri Unit Areas Tebing Tinggi. The data was collected through interviews and questionnaires distributed to 67 employees at CU Mandiri Cooperative Unit of Tebing Tinggi District. Data analysis in this study using SPSS version 20. The technique used is the method of sampling and data testing techniques used in this study include the validity test and reliability test, the classical assumption test. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the subjective attitudes and norms of consumer behavior to buy a Honda Absolute Revo motorcycle for the people of Bantan Village, Medan Tembung Sub-District. The benefits of research are to provide input for companies in order to formulate marketing strategies and contribute to researchers in the field of marketing science. Number of samples 96 respondents. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method used is the Behavioral Intention (BI) Model. Based on the results of the study obtained the equation of interest in behavior (BI) as follows: BI = W1Ab + W2SN = 0.61Ab + 0.39SN. This means that greater behavioral interest is influenced by community attitudes of 0.61 (61%) from subjective norms of 0.39 (39%). Based on the description, it can be concluded that subjective attitudes and norms influence the behavior of the community in Bantan Village, Medan Tembung-Medan District in buying a Honda Absolute Revo motorcycle. We recommend that manufacturers of Honda Absolute Revo need to pay attention to the attitude of the people in buying motorbikes, especially affordable motorcycle prices, high resale prices, the excitement of fuel consumption, and ease of maintenance. Because these four attributes are the most dominant attributes affecting the attitude of the people to buy a Honda Absolute Revo motorcycle

Abstract

A decision on a capital structure (ratio between share and loan capitals) done by a financial manager is an important decision. This is due to its influence upon risks undergone and profits expected by shareholders. These analyses are used to solve the problem which is whether the size of the firm, the business risks, the growth of assets, the profitability and the ownership structure influence the capital strusture or not? The population in this research is the go public manufacturing sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for years 2005 until 2007. The sample is defined by cluster propotional random sampling to get a representative sample on each sector. There are 33 go public manufacturing companies selected as sample for this research. There are two variables in this research, the independent variable and dependent variable. The independent variable comprises firm size, business risk, growth of assets, and profitability; and for the dependent variable is the capital structure of go public manufacturing companies in the BEI. This research was analyzed using multiple regressions. This research found the empirical results that partially, SIZE influences positive significant and NPM influences negative significant to the capital structure of go public manufacturing companies in the Bursa Efek Indonesia. While the result of partial test for DOL and GROW showed that partially they didn’t influence significantly to the capital structure. The result for the simultaneous test showed that there is influence between SIZE, DOL, GROW, and NPM with the capital strusture of go public manufacturing companies in the Bursa Efek Indonesia. The influence is 0,197 or 19,7%. The other 80.3% influenced by another factors outside the research or the regression model.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pengembangan sector potensial di Kabupaten Nias Utara. Objek penelitian yang diamati selama lima tahun, yaitu periode 2007-2011. Kurun waktu selama 5 (lima) tahun ini dilandasi oleh tersedianya data hasil perhitungan PDRB Kabupaten Nias Utara dan data PDRB Provinsi Sumatera Utara dari tahun 2007 hingga tahun 2011. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Location Quotient. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sektor sektor pertanian, sektor pertambangan dan Penggalian.

Abstract

This study aims: First, to get the variables that affect the price earnings ratio. Second, to obtain empirical evidence about the impact of these variables on price earnings ratio. To achieve this purpose, research on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange at the end of 2013. The number of companies manufacturing the research samples as many as 98 companies. By using eight regression model to explain the determinants of price-earnings ratio is obtained the following results. First, return on equity, the expected yield or capitalization rate, growth, dividend payout ratio, total asset turnover, net profit margin, and the debt to equity ratio is a determinant of price-earnings ratio. Second, the return on equity have a positive influence and significant impact on the price earnings ratio, expected returns or the capitalization rate affects negatively and significantly influence on the price earnings ratio, growth positive influence and significant impact on the price earnings ratio, dividend payout ratio positive effect and significant to price earnings ratio, total asset turnover and significant positive effect on the price-earnings ratio, net profit margin and significant positive effect on the price-earnings ratio, and debt to equity ratio and significant positive effect on the price earnings ratio. Third, the debt to equity ratio is the dominant determinant of the price earnings ratio. Fourth, the price earnings ratio variation able to be explained by variations in the independent variables of 43.1 to 75.6 percent. It may therefore be argued that this study is useful for: First, to provide information to investors about the variables that need to be considered when investing in the stock market and affect the price earnings ratio. These variables are the retention ratio, dividend payout ratio, total asset turnover, net profit margin, debt to equity ratio, the required yield, growth, and return on equity. Second, add a reference to the capital market in relation to fundamental factors. Third, the results of this study are expected to be a reference to the head of the company in order to increase the value of the company.

Abstract

In manufacturing companies Automotive and Allied Products listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2006-2007 showed fluctuations of income (loss), net cash flows and stock returns and the consequences of the rise and fall of income (loss) and cash flows cause stock returns fluctuate too . So the problem is formulated "the influence of income (loss) and net cash flow to stock return at manufacturing Automotive and Allied Products listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. " This study aimed to investigate the efiect of income (loss) and net cash flow to stock return on the company manufacturing Automotive and Allied Products listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Benefits of the research is as one of the considerations for potential investors in making investment decisions. The population in this study are all manufacturing Automotive and Allied Products listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange observation period 20002007. The sample in this study is a population of around 19 companies with saturated sampling method. Hypothesis testing is performed using multiple linear regression models. The results of F-test (ANOVA test) showed that the net income (loss) (X1) and net cash flow (X2) jointly have a positive and significant impact on the company's stock returns Automotive and Allied Products listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with significance level of 0.014

Abstract

The aim of this research, analyze the influence of cultural, social, personal and psychology of the buying decisions in Indomaret and analyzes of the four variables: cultural, social, personal and psychological variables which are the most dominant influence on buying decisions in Indomaret. Benefits study provides empirical evidence about the influence of cultural, social, personal and psychological on purchase decisions in Indomaret, provide knowledge to the public about cultural, social, personal and psychology of the buying decisions in Indomaret and contribute to the academic community about the importance of knowing the effect of factors cultural, social, personal and psychological on purchase decisions. The study population across the Faculty of Economics of the Catholic University of Santo Thomas North Sumatra ever shopped at Indomaret district of Medan Selayang while the study sample sebahagian the population can be considered representative. The total sample of 100 respondents, the type of data used primary and secondary data and data collection tools through questioner and documentation. Data analysis tool used regression. The results showed the multiple linear regression equation: KM = 3.503 + 0,122FBu 0,016FSo + + + 0,337FPsi 0,246FPri. The equation shows that cultural factors, social factors, individual factors, and psychological factors have a positive influence on the purchase decision will be positive. Abstract

PT. Multi Mandiri Medan is one of the companies engaged in the field of labor services namely clearning service and security guard. Employees feel less satisfied, because the form of motivation provided by the company is not as expected by the employee. In addition, employees experience stress due to excessive workloads, remuneration provided is not proportional to the workload provided by superiors and superiors are not being fair to subordinates. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of motivation and stress on job satisfaction at PT. Delta Multi Mandiri Medan. The benefits of research is to provide information to the leadership of the influence of motivation and stress on job satisfaction. The research population is all employees of PT. Delta Multi Mandiri Medan as many as 68 people. In this research, the research sample counted 68 people. The data used in this study is primary data collected through questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis test. The result of t test shows that motivation has positive and significant effect partially on job satisfaction; while the stress variable has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Delta Multi Mandiri Medan. F test results show that motivation and stress significantly influence simultaneously to job satisfaction at PT. Delta Multi Mandiri Medan. Based on the results of the discussion, obtained multiple linear regression equation obtained is Y = 12.45 + 0.898.X1 - 0.253.X2. That is, motivation and stress affect the job satisfaction at PT. Delta Multi Mandiri Medan. This can be seen from the value of the regression coefficient. In other words, if the form of motivation increases, then job satisfaction will increase. However, if the cause of stress increases, employee job satisfaction will decrease. The value of the correlation coefficient (R²) is 0.804. That is, motivation and stress have a strong relationship to job satisfaction at PT. Delta Multi Mandiri Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the most dominant factor influencing employee motivation at PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Medan. The study population was all employees of PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Medan, which amounts to 220 people. Samples were taken as many as 69 people with stratified random sampling method. Required data collected through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the factor analysis. From the discussion Figures KMO Measure of Sampling Adeguacy (MSA) of 0.895 is above 0.50, with a significance of 0.000, then the variable deserves to be analyzed further. Scree plot showed a graph, where the first factor to factor 2 (component source line number = 1 to 2), the direction of the line declined sharply. Then from number 2 to number 4, the direction of the line is decreased with the smaller slope. Factor of four to twenty already under the number of the Y axis (eigenvalues). This indicates that the four factors most flattering to summarize the twentieth factors influencing employee motivation at PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Medan. The dominant factors influencing employee motivation at PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Medan is an award for his achievements with 0.830 correlation value, the status of the correlation values 0.808, 0.806 correlation value incentives and personal maturity with a correlation value of 0.804. Of the four factors, the most dominant influence employee motivation is reward high performance
