Abstract

The research aims to determine the characteristics and satisfaction models of speed boat, ferry and plane transportation routes for the Nunukan-Tarakan aircraft. Survey data using descriptive methods and multiple linear regression methods using SPSS v16. From the survey results, it is found that the characteristics of ferry transportation agents aged 17-27, male and female sex, high school education/equivalent, type of work are students, earning <Rp2,500,000, and recreational trips. The characteristics of speed boat transportation are 17-27, male, last education is high school/equivalent, work is student, income is IDR 2,500,000-3,000,000, and recreational trips. The characteristics of airplane transportation modes are the majority of the age of 28-38 years, sex is male, last education is undergraduate, civil servant employment income IDR 3,000,000-5,000,000, and work/business travel destination. Equation model satisfaction for each mode of transportation, for the Y Ferry model = 0.493 + 0.726X1 - 0.017X2 - 0.163X3, Y Speed boat = 0.128 + 0.897X1 - 1.279X2 - 0.114X3, and Y Aircraft = 0.253 + 0.400X1 + 0.195X2 - 0.250X3.

Abstract

The provision of crossing facilities which is a Pedestrians Bridge In Tarakan city, was first built.This research was to aim of knowing the crossing facilities that are in accordance with the location conditions of the research study, both technically and in a special standard design, knowing the level of performance of the Pedestrians Bridge Facility for pedestrians. Data analysis of the number of vehicle volumes (V) is 5126 vehicles / hour and pedestrian volume (P) is 66 people / hour using the PV 2 formula 1728882386.2. Through Determination of crossing facilities on Yos Sudarso, in front of Grand Tarakan Mall, only requires Pelican with a protector or Pelican Crossing along with a waiting stall that has the criteria for the number P = 50 - 1100 people / hour, V > 700 vehicles / hour and PV2 > 2x10 8. For the bridge design, found on the standard for building stair height, did not meet the standards, which was 1.35 meters, while the height of the backrest in the field was 1.15 - 1.20 meters. The level of The Pedestrian Bridge use was 68.77% and could be stated as beneficial. The results of the questionnaire were obtained on the Cartesian diagram in quadrant 1, which is the main priorities that must be improved in the Pedestiran Bridge services are the ease of access for persons with disabilities and the hygiene care of the Pedestrian Bridge?s facilities.

Abstract

Tarakan City is one city that is often flooded during the rainy season it is in because of the narrow drainage system and due to the accumulation of garbage other than one of the factors that affect flooding is tidal. For the central Tarakan Region, specifically in the region of Karang Anyar Central Tarakan that is Seroja , Kenanga and mawar street flood that occurred due to the drainage system which is not good. And population growth is rapidly increasing and the growth of residential construction and industry as well as other supporting facilities are not balanced with the development of the drainage system. Increase the number of discharges that come out due to the increase of housing and other buildings are often already do not meet the capacity of its maximum capacity on existing drainage channels. The research is conducted by doing a survey in the field to obtain primary data and secondary data which will then be processed using the method ISO No. 03- 2459-2002 about general and technical requirments infiltration wells, this standard is a revision of ISO No. 03-3459-2991. The result of the field trial showed that the infiltration rate as measured by the single ring infiltrometeron seroja street at 6cm/hour, on kenanga street by 6 cm/hour, and mawar street by 9cm/hour. Each infiltration wells are planned at each house is capable of reducing flood discharge as much as 0.00254m3/sec at seroja street, kenanga street 0.00282 m3/sec and 0.0034m3/sec on mawar street. Under the assumption 70 % of homes in the study area using infiltration wells.

Abstract

Steel truss bridge collapse often occurs, both in Indonesia and in other countries. As a result of the collapse of the bridge is in addition to the casualties also losses from the financial aspects. This collapse caused due to various factors, one of them because of a decrease in the strength of the bridge structure. To minimize required maintenance of the bridge's collapse and to facilitate the maintenance of one of them must be known failure mechanisms existing bridges. In the analysis of this collapse, will be modeled steel truss bridge pratt’s type with long spans is 60 meters. Analysis of the collapse of the steel truss bridge's, utilizing a pushover analysis to analyze the behavior of the bridge structure. Pushover analysis done with give vertical static load pattern at the structure, next gradually increase by a factor until one vertical displacement target of the reference point is reached. The study shows that at model singe span failure occurred on the chord on mid span. The performance level of structure shows all models of bridges in the state are IO, this case based on the target displacement FEMA 356 and the actual ductility occurs in all models of bridges is compliant with SNI 2833-2008.

Abstract

Home needs by humans for shelter, gathering,  family activities as well as investment goods are very necessary. However, in the process of home ownership many criteria are determined, especially in terms of income. Even those who have fixed income such as Civil Servant are not necessarily easy to choose and own their own homes. Many factors must be considered such as internal and external factors in choosing a house that will affect home ownership. To find out what factors are affecting in the decision to choose home using statistical analysis with a case study at the civil servant in Departement of Health and the Tourism-Culture of Magelang District. Based on statistical analysis, the results of the variable validity and reliability test meet the requirements. Then through testing the normality of normal distribution data. Looking for equations with multiple linear regression then hypotesis in the t test shows that internal and external variables together influence the decision to choose a house. While the f test shows a significance of 0.05, this means that the internal and external variables together have a positive effect on the decision to choose a house. Whereas the factors that are affecting in choosing a house are functional and effective house plans.

Abstract

The longhouse is a home for Brusu Dayak tribes who live in North Kalimantan, which always develops as the building length increases following the increase in the number of family heads in one family. Compared to other Dayak houses, long brusu Dayak tribes have no windows but rely solely on openings on the roof and openings on the building floor as ventilation ventilation. This affects the thermal comfort of the longhouse. In general, this study aims to determine how much influence the shape of the openings on the floor of the brusu dayak longhouse building on the level of thermal comfort.The method in this study includes direct observation of the spaciousness of the shape of the building and the shape of the floor openings in the longhouse, as well as direct measurement at several points that have been determined, namely: measurement of temperature, humidity, air movement using several measuring devices, namely: thermometer, anemometer, hygro thermometer and iinfrared thermometer, measurements are made on the interior of a long house with 15 measuring points, where each point is measured for 24 hours with a measurement time every 2 hours. The results of this study note that the shape of the openings on the floor affects the level of thermal comfort in the longhouse, this is evidenced when the condition of the floor hole is closed there is an increase in the effective temperature in the room even though the increase in the effective temperature is not significant.

Abstract

The Research Center and Development of Water (Puslitbang) is currently developing the Submerged Breakwater in shallow sea area (PEGAR). The author is interested to examine the material that easily obtained in the field of RCP concrete cylinder. The observation is how it to be ability in function as submerged breakwater an go green and low cost. The physical model of wave transmission test is how the response to the structure in ability to damping of wave as the breakwater function. In this research breakwater used is submerged breakwater type by using concrete cylinder (buis beton). The purpose from this research is to know how the response of breakwater structure to the waves through it, with some variation of the structure by creating a structure with three variations of the arrangement and freeboard that is the relative depth with the crest width is constant. The wave generated test in this study is using regular waves in wave flume at FTSP Civil Engineering Department of Institute Technology Ten November. From the analysis of the effect of the installation of submerged breakwater by using concrete cylinder to the wave damping value, it can be concluded that the factors that are very influential is the freeboard and the composition of concrete cylinder. Scenario A (rigid vertical massive) is capable of producing the smallest value of kt is 0.33. As for scenario B (rigid horyzontal massive) with a damping value of 0.5, while the scenario C (rigid permeable) is only able to produce kt value of 0.71. Scenario A is better than scenario B and C Because the position of arrangement of A is very good used to damp wave in small or big freeboard conditions.

Abstract

The most interesting part of the longhouse compared to other Dayak tribes' houses is that in the longhouse Brusu Dayak tribes do not have windows but only rely on openings on the roof of the building according to their residential needs so that it affects the thermal comfort of the longhouse. In general, this study aims to determine the effect of the shape of openings on the roofs of Dayak Brusu tribal longhouse buildings on thermal comfort levels. The research method includes direct surveys to the field by observing the shape of the building and the shape of the roof opening in the longhouse, as well as doing direct measurements on several points determined. Measurements made include measurements of temperature, humidity, air movement, where measurements are made on the interior of a long house with 15 measuring points, where each point is measured for 24 hours with the time of measurement every 2 hours. From the above analysis, it can be concluded that the effective temperature for the tenang area is more likely to be lower than the ganak and lamin, this is because the roof formation of the long house located in the garden can be opened and closed according to the needs of the occupants.

Abstract

Kota Tarakan adalah salah satu kota yang berkembang di provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Dalam upaya mempromosikan pengembangan dan pengembangan ekonomi kota Tarakan, Bandara Juwata ada di bandara yang perlu ditingkatkan kapasitasnya. Penelitian tentang aliran air di drainase Bandara Juwata diharapkan untuk menentukan kapasitas saluran drainase pada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perhitungan data curah hujan seri parsial dan distribusi log normal dan perhitungan debit yang dianalisis dimana perhitungan laju aliran menggunakan rumus manning dan kemudian perhitungan input pada HEC-RAS 4.1.0. Berdasarkan perhitungan, diperoleh desain debit 0,367 m3 / s dengan dimensi lebar bawah rencana saluran (B) = 0,64 m: tinggi saluran (H) = 1,08 m dengan air tinggi = 0,56 m sedangkan lebar bawah saluran yang ada ( B) = 1,04 m;
