Abstract

The research aims to determine the characteristics and satisfaction models of speed boat, ferry and plane transportation routes for the Nunukan-Tarakan aircraft. Survey data using descriptive methods and multiple linear regression methods using SPSS v16. From the survey results, it is found that the characteristics of ferry transportation agents aged 17-27, male and female sex, high school education/equivalent, type of work are students, earning <Rp2,500,000, and recreational trips. The characteristics of speed boat transportation are 17-27, male, last education is high school/equivalent, work is student, income is IDR 2,500,000-3,000,000, and recreational trips. The characteristics of airplane transportation modes are the majority of the age of 28-38 years, sex is male, last education is undergraduate, civil servant employment income IDR 3,000,000-5,000,000, and work/business travel destination. Equation model satisfaction for each mode of transportation, for the Y Ferry model = 0.493 + 0.726X1 - 0.017X2 - 0.163X3, Y Speed boat = 0.128 + 0.897X1 - 1.279X2 - 0.114X3, and Y Aircraft = 0.253 + 0.400X1 + 0.195X2 - 0.250X3.

Abstract

Hambatan samping adalah dampak terhadap kinerja lalu lintas dari aktifitas samping segmen jalan. Banyaknya aktifitas samping jalan sering menimbulkan berbagai konflik yang sangat besar pengaruhnya terhadap kelancaran lalu lintas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh hambatan samping terhadap kinerja ruas jalan Mulawarman serta untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja ruas jalan Mulawarman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode MKJI 1997 (Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia) dan program SPSS versi 16. Dari hasil perhitungan analisis regresi tentang hubungan hambatan antara kinerja jalan dengan hambatan samping di dapat satu model persamaan yang baik yaitu model linier pangkat, untuk hubungan kecepatan dengan hambatan samping, dan nilai R2 sebesar 0.659, untuk hubungan volume dengan hambatan samping. Faktor dominan dari hubungan kecepatan dengan hambatan samping dari yang pengaruhnya tinggi sampai pengaruhnya terendah adalah pejalan kaki, kendaraan lambat, kendaraan berhenti lalu kendaraan keluar masuk. Sedangkan faktor dominan dari hubungan volume lalu lintas dengan hambatan samping dari yang pengaruhnya tinggi sampai pengaruhnya terendah adalah  pejalan kaki, kendaraan lambat, kendaraan berhenti, kendaraan keluar masuk.

Abstract

North Kalimantan Province has only one domestic airport in the city of Tanjung Selor called Tanjung Harapan. Therefore the standard of services and facilities provided by the airport management must be in accordance with standards that are able to create a comfortable and conducive atmosphere. This research uses descriptive analysis method and IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) analysis method, in this analysis there are 36 attributes or indicators that serve as a benchmark in determining passenger satisfaction with services provided at Tanjung Harapan airport terminal. The purpose of this study is to determine the standard level of passenger terminal services and determine the level of passenger satisfaction with airport terminal services. The results of research on Terminal Services Standards According to PM. Number 178 of 2015 states that the results of the assessment of the facilities of the departure and arrival process scored 75 with the title "B" (very good). The IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) method on passenger satisfaction there are 5 attributes in quadrant I (top priority), 17 attributes in quadrant II (maintain performance), 10 attributes in Kudran III (low priority), and 4 attributes in quadrant IV (excessive).

Abstract

Plastic waste processing is a problem that almost several countries in the Asian region are unable to overcome. One of the latest innovations carried out in the field of road pavement construction is mixing HDPE type plastic waste that has been processed into plastic seeds into the asphalt concrete mixture. Previous research has shown that HDPE plastic waste may be reused to improve the physical properties of temperature-sensitive asphalt and improve the stability of asphalt concrete. This study was conducted to determine the effect of using HDPE plastic ore as a mixed additive on the Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) using Marshall parameters. Marshall Parameters used are stability, flow, VIM, VMA, VFA, and MQ. The study was conducted in a laboratory by testing 42 samples with different levels of HDPE plastic seeds, mixed using wet methods to determine Marshall Characteristics. Manufacture of test objects using asphalt type, which has a penetration rate of 60/70. The initial research results showed that the optimal asphalt content (OAC) is 5.5%, with the percentage content of HDPE plastic seeds around 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7% compared to asphalt weight. The results showed that the effect of HDPE plastic seed content on the AC-WC mixture increased the value of Marshall Characteristics and met all the requirements of SNI 06-2489-1991. Abstract

Plastic Waste (PW) is one of the primary sources of pollution, leading to drainage system blockages, thereby causing floods and road pavement damage. One of the major ways to reduce pollution due to plastic waste and excessive exploitation of natural resources is through the development of HDPE. It is also important to reduce damage to road pavement structures by improving the quality of the asphalt used during construction. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the effects of using HDPE shale, an ecologically friendly material, and the addition of Wetfix-Be to asphalt pavements in tropical climates. The study results showed that 5.75% of the OAC asphalt using plastic waste raises the stability value and meets the specification requirements. Specimens of AC-WC concrete asphalt mixture were also tested by immersing them in fresh and seawater for 0.5, 24, 72, and 96 hours. Abstract

Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati di Aceh telah bertransformasi dari sistem konvensional menjadi sistem berbasis teknologi informasi untuk menjawab tantangan era digital dan meningkatkan layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kinerja institusi dalam melayani peserta diklat peningkatan, khususnya dalam transisi dari pembelajaran offline menjadi online, sebagai respons terhadap perkembangan teknologi informasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods dengan menggabungkan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Tingkat kepuasan peserta diklat dianalisis menggunakan Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja institusi terhadap pelayanan peserta diklat dikategorikan memuaskan dengan nilai persentase CSI sebesar 73,11%. Namun, masih terdapat area yang perlu ditingkatkan, seperti optimalisasi teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran, kecepatan respons terhadap permasalahan peserta diklat, sistem penerbitan sertifikat, dan kenyamanan ruang tunggu. Untuk memaksimalkan potensi dan menjangkau masyarakat lebih luas, Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati perlu mengembangkan strategi seperti platform e-learning untuk masyarakat umum, kerja sama dengan sekolah, pemanfaatan media sosial, dan penyelenggaraan webinar serta pelatihan daring.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Road infrastructure is crucial in supporting economic growth and community mobility. Good road conditions are essential for comfort, safety, and transportation efficiency. However, road damage is a common problem, including on Jalan P. Aji Iskandar, Juata Laut, Tarakan, and North Kalimantan. This research aims to develop a WebGIS application to visualize road surface roughness, hoping to improve infrastructure management and decision effectiveness. Road damage in Tarakan is exacerbated by the increase in heavy truck traffic related to the construction of PT Phoenix Resources International’s pulp mill, as identified in the Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA). Therefore, monitoring road conditions is essential. This study measures the International Roughness Index (IRI) as an indicator of road roughness, and IRI data is processed and integrated into WebGIS. The developed WebGIS application presents spatial visualization of road roughness through colour representation to facilitate the identification of improvement areas, detailed information on IRI values per segment, and query and data analysis features. The utilization of WebGIS offers the advantages of accessibility, interactivity, and the ability to display complex spatial data intuitively. The study results show the effectiveness of WebGIS applications in mapping and visualizing the roughness of the road surface. This information can be used by relevant parties, such as local governments and public works offices, to plan road maintenance efficiently and data-driven. It is hoped that this can improve the quality of road infrastructure in Tarakan, reduce the negative impact of industrial development, and improve the safety and comfort of road users. The development of this application also opens up opportunities for further research related to integrating other data, such as traffic data and visual road damage. Kondisi jalan yang baik esensial untuk kenyamanan, keselamatan, dan efisiensi transportasi. Namun, kerusakan jalan adalah masalah umum, termasuk di Jalan P. Aji Iskandar, Juata Laut, Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi WebGIS untuk visualisasi kekasaran permukaan jalan, dengan harapan meningkatkan manajemen infrastruktur dan efektivitas keputusan. Kerusakan jalan di Tarakan diperparah oleh peningkatan lalu lintas truk berat terkait pembangunan pabrik pulp PT Phoenix Resources International, seperti yang teridentifikasi dalam Analisis Mengenai Dampak Lingkungan (AMDAL). Oleh karena itu, pemantauan kondisi jalan menjadi penting. Penelitian ini mengukur International Roughness Index (IRI) sebagai indikator kekasaran jalan, dan data IRI diolah serta diintegrasikan ke WebGIS. Aplikasi WebGIS yang dikembangkan menyajikan visualisasi spasial kekasaran jalan melalui representasi warna untuk memudahkan identifikasi area perbaikan, informasi detail nilai IRI per segmen, serta fitur query dan analisis data. Pemanfaatan WebGIS menawarkan keunggulan aksesibilitas, interaktivitas, dan kemampuan menampilkan data spasial kompleks secara intuitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas aplikasi WebGIS dalam memetakan dan memvisualisasikan kekasaran permukaan jalan. Informasi ini dapat digunakan oleh pihak terkait, seperti pemerintah daerah dan dinas pekerjaan umum, untuk merencanakan pemeliharaan jalan secara efisien dan berbasis data. Diharapkan hal ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas infrastruktur jalan di Tarakan, mengurangi dampak negatif pembangunan industri, serta meningkatkan keselamatan dan kenyamanan pengguna jalan. Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aims to evaluate the road damage on Jalan P. Aji Iskandar in Tarakan City, a vital route for heavy vehicles, especially trucks transporting loads from the paper factory. The selection of this topic is important considering the high traffic volume and loads that exceed the road's capacity, which can lead to economic losses and safety issues for road users. The research methods used include the International Roughness Index (IRI), Present Serviceability Index (PSI), and Road Condition Index (RCI) to obtain comprehensive data regarding road conditions. The results indicate that the IRI values range from 3 to 10 m/km, with an average of 5 m/km, indicating that the road condition falls into the moderate to lightly damaged category. Additionally, the average PSI value of 1 indicates poor serviceability, while the average RCI value of 7 indicates good road conditions, although some segments require special attention. These findings emphasize the need for immediate repairs and regular maintenance to improve the quality of road infrastructure and user safety. This research is expected to contribute to developing better transportation policies in Tarakan City. Aji Iskandar, Kota Tarakan, yang merupakan jalur vital bagi kendaraan berat, terutama truk pengangkut muatan dari pabrik kertas. Pemilihan topik ini penting mengingat tingginya volume lalu lintas dan beban yang melebihi kapasitas jalan, yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian ekonomi dan keselamatan pengguna jalan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi International Roughness Index (IRI), Present Serviceability Index (PSI), dan Road Condition Index (RCI) untuk mendapatkan data komprehensif mengenai kondisi jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai IRI bervariasi antara 3 hingga 10 m/km, dengan rata-rata 5 m/km, yang mengindikasikan kondisi jalan dalam kategori sedang hingga rusak ringan. Selain itu, nilai PSI rata-rata sebesar 1 menunjukkan kondisi pelayanan yang kurang baik, sementara RCI rata-rata sebesar 7 menunjukkan kondisi jalan yang baik, meskipun terdapat segmen-segmen yang memerlukan perhatian khusus. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya perbaikan segera dan pemeliharaan rutin untuk meningkatkan kualitas infrastruktur jalan dan keselamatan pengguna. Abstract

Corrosion in bridge girder beams frequently leads to significant structural damage, such as concrete spalling and reduced reinforcement, which directly impacts the bending capacity. This study experimentally assessed the efficacy of a combined repair strategy of grouting and Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) reinforcement on simulated damaged reinforced concrete beams. Twelve beams were tested with various repair configurations, including a standalone grouting repair and a combination of grouting with GFRP in strip and U-wrap configurations. The primary objective was to comprehensively evaluate the enhanced flexural capacity and failure modes of these repaired beams. The results indicated that GFRP reinforcement, particularly the U-wrap configuration, significantly improved the beams' flexural capacity. Beams with the GFRP U-wrap configuration achieved an average maximum load of 32.50 kN, surpassing the control beam's 29.74 kN by 9.27%. Conversely, a standalone grouting repair drastically decreased the load capacity to 14.49 kN, highlighting its inefficiency in strength restoration. Debonding failure at the grout-concrete interface was identified as the primary cause of this reduction. The U-wrap configuration outperformed the strip configuration, likely due to its enhanced shear resistance and confinement. The GFRP strain analysis showed linear behavior at low loads but significant deviations at higher loads, which indicates debonding. All beams exhibited a dominant flexural cracking failure mode, with the addition of GFRP reducing the number of cracks. In conclusion, the combined grouting and GFRP reinforcement, especially the U-wrap configuration, proved to be an effective strategy for repairing damaged RC beams. However, achieving strong adhesion between the repair materials and the concrete is crucial to prevent debonding and optimize structural performance. Further research on enhancing adhesion and optimizing GFRP configurations is recommended.
