Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas V. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian guru kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bendungan dan 17 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bendungan. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita di SD Negeri 1 Bendungan.  Kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita diakibatkan oleh kurang lancarnya siswa dalam membaca sehingga mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami maksud soal cerita, kemampuan berhitung siswa terutama perkalian dan pembagian masih rendah, dan ketidaktelitian siswa dalam membaca soal cerita, ada beberapa upaya yang guru lakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diantaranya yaitu dengan melaksanakan Gerakan literasi sekolah, mencongak perkalian dan pembagian, dan dengan cara drill soal cerita matematika kepada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Bendungan.

Abstract

Asesmen pembelajaran IPA dapat ditingkatkan menjadi soal HOTS untuk peserta didik saat kemampuan berpikir kritis masih rendah. Relevansi asesmen dengan jaman teknologi saat ini, guru dapat memanfaatkan asesmen digital berupa Quizizz. Tujuannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pendapat peserta didik seberapa pentingnya Quizizz sebagai asesmen digital pada soal HOTS IPA. Penelitian menggunakan jenis kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil dari wawancara maupun angket diperoleh bahwa peserta didik menyambut baik penggunaannya dan rata-rata menjawab penting adanya asesmen digital Quizizz. Sehingga soal HOTS IPA berbasis Quizizz merupakan hal penting. Banyak manfaat dari Quizizz ini, guru dapat mengembangkan atau menggunakan asesmen digital untuk soal HOTS IPA pada peserta didik kelas V di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract: Technological developments in the 4.0 era had a negative influence on the character of students, so that continuous efforts were needed through strengthening the Pancasila character, as a solution to the degradation of student character. The negative influence of technology has led to many cases related to sexual crimes, as a result of social media exposure has become a major threat for elementary school children. This study aims to analyze qualitatively the values of Pancasila which can provide character strengthening for elementary school students to prevent the negative influence of social media, especially cases of sexual crimes. This study uses a qualitative method of literature study. The results of the study show that strengthening the character of Pancasila values, namely the character values of faith, piety to God Almighty and noble character have the potential to prevent sexual crimes originating from social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the teaching materials needed in class V SDN Kepanjenlor 1 on Mathematics content. The research method used is qualitative, so the data is obtained through filling out questionnaires and interviews. The results of the research obtained were that teachers needed teaching materials to accompany the Mathematics content on addition and subtraction of fractions which included practice questions and their solutions related to everyday life. The results of the questionnaire obtained a percentage of 81%, meaning that most students needed Mathematics teaching materials. The teaching materials needed by students are technology-based teaching materials which are equipped with videos, pictures and practice questions. Keywords: mathematics; needs analysis; teaching materials

Abstract

Children with mentally disable is a children who has cognitive barriers experience,  in early reading it is often disturbed by the difficulty of remembering the letters, and also connecting phonemes with the objects. This article presents innovations on how to teach early reading to mentally disable students in elementary schools. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of how teachers teach early reading to mentally retarded students in elementary schools. This study uses qualitative methods that describe how teachers teach early reading, with the subject of mentally disable classroom teachers at SDLB Kasih Ibu Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques are through observation and interviews. The results of research observation planning data, the teacher gives emphasis to the letters and shows the image in accordance with the initial letter given emphasis, and linking the material with everyday life that can be found by students using an easy to understand reading method. Observation data of the presentation component, the teacher in explaining the material using simple language, by verbal media and giving emphasis to the letters that students’ will be read. The conclusion of this study is the application of one component of the skills explains in teaching initial reading, the component of material presentation in the first day's observations has been going well.
