Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the results of the level of understanding of physics concepts on the aspect of translation through the guided incuri learning model? The type of this research is True Experimental Design by using Posttest-Only Control Design. The research instrument used was a test of understanding the concept of the translational aspects of physics in the form of essay questions. The population is 120 students from class X of SMKN Buyasuri, and the sample is X class students "Ruminansia" totaling 30 people and "Poultry" totaling 30 people. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis through normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results of descriptive statistical analysis showed that the level of understanding the concept of the physics translation aspects of class X students in Ruminansia that were taught using the guided inquiry model obtained an average score of 85.33 and a standard deviation of 7.63 and an understanding of the concept of the physics translation aspects of Poultry class students taught without using the guided inquiry model obtained an average score of 70.33 and a standard deviation of 9.90. While the results of inferential statistical analysis show that the two classes come from homogeneous normally distributed populations and the value of tcount> ttable is 6.474> 1.673.

Abstract

In this research was quantitative research to know the increase of interest in student learning by using robotic media. Robotic media used in this study uses the robot soccer. The design of these studies using experimentation. Interest in student learning data taken using question form interest in learning. This dalampenelitian data processing using trial T or t-test were analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that there was an increased interest in learning of students in the subjects of physics using media Robotics (robot soccer) with the acquisition value of the pretest of 66.81 postest and value of 77.05.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an inquiry-based physich module on the subject of Effort and Energy and produce inquiry-based physics module on the subject of Effort and Energy which are valid, practical, and effective. The population of this study were all students of class X by using purosive sampling technique (subjects were taken according to the needs of researchers). Data collection were carried out using the instrument module technique, observation sheets, documentation and questionnaires. The development of this research uses the Dick and Carey model with 10 stages. Module validity was obtained from the results of expert validators namely material experts with a percentage of 81.94% in the excellent category, media experts with a percentage of 87.49% in the excellent category, and linguists with a percentage of 75.00% in the good category. The practicality of the module reached 87.07% with the category of strongly agree. The effectiveness of the module obtained by the results of the test students reached 78.64%. Teh results of the study found that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So that inquiry-based modules can be said to be valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) Effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) based local wisdom model towards students’ learning achievement 2) Effect of the critical thinking towards students learning achievement 3) Interaction between the use of learning models and critical thinking skills towards student learning achievement. This study was experimental study. The population of this study were all students of class X IPA at SMA AL-Hamzar Tembeng Putik in academic year 2019/2020. The sample of this study was selected by saturated sampling technique which was Class X IPA 1 as an experimental class while class X IPA 2 was as a control class. The research design of this study was 2 x 2 factorial design. the data collection techniques of this study used critical thinking questionnaires and achievement tests. The data were analyzed by using two ways Anova. The results showed that; 1) there was an effect of PBL based local wisdom on student learning achievement, it proved by the result of FA count> Ftable was 11.29> 4.00, which meant H0A was rejected, 2) There was an effect of critical thinking skill towards student learning achievement, it proved by the result of FB> Ftable was 5.51> 4.00 which meant that H0B is rejected. 3) There was no interaction between the use of learning models with the Critical thinking skill towards student achievement, it is because FABcount <Ftable was 0.98 <0.04 which meant H0AB is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the proportion of students' level of critical thinking skills on the subject of Impulse and Momentum, any difficulties experienced by students to reach the level of critical thinking skills, and solutions to overcome the difficulties of students achieving critical thinking skills. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were 27 students taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study are tests of critical thinking skills, interviews, and observation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results showed that each student's ability, high ability students 36.84%, medium ability 34.50%, low ability 22.80% divided into two categories of KBK 2 with a percentage of 52.63% and KBK 1 with a percentage of 23, 94%. From the results of the study also obtained the achievement of students every KBK indicator. Student achievement in the Interpretation indicator of 51.58% Analysis 18.75% Evaluation 13.87% Inference 31.48% Explication 14.19% and Self Regulation 26.85%. So KBK students as a whole are in the low category with a percentage of 31.38%. The cause of students 'difficulties in fulfilling CBC indicators is the limited ability of students to formulate and find other alternatives, the completion of students' answers is difficult to draw conclusions and connect substance between materials, and has not been studied in depth so students tend to be careless in solving problems. The solution that can be used is to provide more experience to students in terms of critical thinking skills and additional learning outside school hours.
