Abstract

Noodles are one of the carbohydrate sources favored by many people around the world, including Indonesia. Lemonilo, as a pioneer of healthy instant noodles and a close competitor to Indomie, along with Mie Sedaap and Supermi, has not yet fully attracted consumers, resulting in low sales levels. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the influence of brand experience, product quality, and mental accounting on the purchase decisions of Lemonilo instant noodles, as well as the role of customer satisfaction as a moderator. This study uses a quantitative approach, employing a survey method with a questionnaire, resulting in a final sample of 105 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study indicate that brand experience positively affects customer satisfaction and purchase decisions. Product quality has a positive impact on purchase decisions but a negative effect on customer satisfaction. Additionally, findings show that mental accounting negatively affects purchase decisions while positively influencing satisfaction. Customer satisfaction negatively impacts purchase decisions. The results also demonstrate that customer satisfaction has a negative moderating effect on the relationships between brand experience, product quality, and mental accounting with purchase decisions. In this context, high customer satisfaction appears to diminish the positive impact of brand experience and product quality and strengthen the negative influence of mental accounting on purchase decisions. These findings provide important insights for marketing strategies, emphasizing the need for different approaches when customer satisfaction is already high.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leaders' business networks and leaders' networks with the government in creating competitive advantage of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), moderated by Knowledge Absorption Ability. This research pays attention to the leader's individual attributes which are important factors and the leader's social network and its interaction with the leader's ability to absorb knowledge, taking the context in Indonesia, especially in Bantul district, Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, namely by distributing questionnaires. Respondents in this study were 88 owners of wooden batik or hand-written batik MSMEs in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY). The sampling technique used was convenience sampling due to considerations of data availability and convenience for researchers. Partial Least Square (PLS) with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) application is the data analysis technique used in this study. The results of this study show that leaders' business networks affect the competitive advantage of MSMEs in Bantul Regency. Meanwhile, leaders' network with the government has no effect on competitive advantage in Bantul. Leaders' ability to absorb knowledge does not significantly affect the relationship between leaders' business networks and MSME excellence. Likewise, the leader's ability to absorb knowledge weakens the relationship between the leader's business network and MSME excellence.

Abstract

Abstract Live streaming has become a popular marketing tool in the fashion industry, offering direct interaction that can influence purchasing decisions. However, JOMO, which is the satisfaction obtained from choosing not to follow trends or instant offers, also has the potential to influence consumer response to live streaming. The study aims to analyze the influence of live streaming in influencing fashion purchase intention through joy of missing out as a mediation variable. Sampling from the existing population of Tiktokshop users in Klaten district using purposive sampling techniques according to research needs and obtaining results of 130 respondents. The method of analysis uses path analysis for direct influence testing as well as test cylinders for mediation influence. The results show that live streaming has a positive influence on fashion purchasing intentions, and JOMO acts as a significant mediation variable. JOMO reduces the direct impact of the urgency created by live streaming, enabling consumers to make more purchasing decisions based on personal values and preferences.

Abstract

Bankruptcy is a situation where a company cannot fulfill its obligations because it does not have adequate funds. The aim of this research is to use the Altman, Springate, and Zmijewski models to examine the estimated bankruptcy of real estate and property companies listed on IDX between 2020-2023. Using a sample, namely purposive sampling with a sample size of 22 companies and using the type of data, namely secondary information in the form of financial reports. Research findings show that the predictions made by each model vary. Based on the 2020-2023 average, the Altman model predicts that there will be 5 samples in the healthy category, while the Springate model predicts that there will be 16 samples in the healthy category, then the Zmijewski model predicts that there will be no companies in a bankruptcy situation.

Abstract

Harga saham di pasar bursa pada titik tertentu diatur oleh penawaran dan permintaan saham. Investor akan menggunakan harga saham sebagai acuan ketika memutuskan untuk berinvestasi. Ketika performa keuangan suatu perusahaan meningkat akan berdampak pada harapan investor terhadap perusahaan, karena harga saham naik. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ROA, EPS, dan PBV berdampak pada harga saham di Bursa Efek Indonesi. Ekspektasi perilaku investor tersebut merujuk ke teori sinyal. Karena penulis hanya menggunakan 7 perusahaan LQ45 yang terdaftar di BEI dari tahun 2019-2023. Studi ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hipotesis diuji menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 24. Hasil temuan studi ini, ROA berdampak negatif pada harga saham dan EPS tidak berdampak pada harga saham, namun PBV secara langsung berdampak pada harga saham.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in emotional management in salespeople who have extrovert and introvert personality types. The subjects of the study were 92 salespeople at Department Store X (82 women; 10 men), aged between 18-40 (average age 22 years). In general, the subjects had a high school education background or equivalent, with an average work period of 2.5 years. Data collection used two scales, namely the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire or EPQ (22 items; α = 0.865) and the Emotional Labor Scale (11 items; α = 0.787). The results of data analysis using the t-test showed that the average emotional labor of salespeople who tended to have an extrovert personality type (Mintrovert = 36,08; Mextrovert = 33,67, t = 3,50; P = 0,001) Thus, it can be concluded that salespeople with a tendency towards an introvert personality type are more capable of managing emotions according to job demands than salespeople with a tendency towards an extrovert personality type.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Internal Marketing dimensions on employee satisfaction. The dimensions analyzed in internal marketing include leadership support, training and development, information and communication, and rewards. This research was conducted in 2022 involving 25 employees from a college in Yogyakarta as respondents. For data analysis, multiple regression and Smart PLS version 3.29 software were used. The analysis results indicate that only the dimension of information and communication has a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction, thus confirming the hypothesis. Meanwhile, the direct effects of leadership support, training and development, and rewards on job satisfaction were not confirmed.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease Of Use, and Perceived Security on Purchase Interest in Shopee through Trust as a Mediating Variable in Klaten Regency. The population used in the study was the people of Klaten Regency. The technique used in sampling in research is non probability sampling with purposive sampling method. In the study obtained a sample of 200 respondents. Data was collected through direct distribution of the hard file questionnaire to respondents. Data analysis uses linear regression and Sobel Test using AMOS (Analysis Moment Of Structural). The results in this study indicate that Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease Of Use, and Perceived Security have a positive and significant effect on Trust. Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease Of Use, and Perceived Security have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention. Trust has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention. Trust has a positive and significant effect on mediating the relationship between Perceived Usefulness and purchase intention, Trust has a positive and significant effect on mediating the relationship between Perceived Ease Of Use and purchase intention, Trust has a positive and significant effect on mediating the relationship between Perceived Security and purchase intention.

Abstract

The Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), introduced by Bank Indonesia, aims to unify digital payment systems across Indonesia. However, despite substantial growth in QRIS transactions, the national adoption target is still not achieved, especially among Generation Z, a demographic that has high digital literacy. This study investigates the influence of two Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) constructs, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, on intention to adopt QRIS among Gen-Z in Yogyakarta, with trust as the mediating variable. A quantitative approach was taken using purposive sampling, with data collected from 98 respondents through an online questionnaire. Data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly and positively influence QRIS usage intention, both directly and indirectly through trust. Trust emerges as an important mediating variable that increases the predictive power of TAM in the context of digital payment adoption. This study contributes to the theoretical advancement of TAM by integrating trust as a mediating construct, thereby enhancing its explanatory power in the context of Gen-Z digital payment adoption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial ratios (profitability and liquidity), accounting conservatism, and political connections on the earnings quality of manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2019-2023). With a quantitative approach and a sample of 230 observations, the results of multiple linear regression analysis show that: (1) profitability has a negative effect on earnings quality, indicating aggressive accounting practices in companies with high profits; (2) accounting conservatism has a positive effect, strengthening earnings reliability; (3) liquidity and political connections have no effect on earnings quality. The results showed that simultaneously, the four variables affect earnings quality. Theoretical Contribution: This study expands the application of agency theory by integrating internal (financial ratios, conservatism) and external (political connections) factors, and enriches the literature on the determinants of earnings quality. Practical Contribution: These findings serve as a reference for investors in assessing the risk of earnings manipulation, for management in optimizing conservative accounting policies, and for regulators in preparing financial statement supervision standards, especially in companies with political connections.
