Abstract

This study aims to analyze the acquisition of crude language in children aged 4 years 1 month in Kampung Cihanjawar-Purwakarta, to obtain accurate results, need an accurate method of research as well. Data in this research using observation method with technique note then analyzed result from observation and conversation record conducted by child age 4 year 1 month then describe result of data and conclude result of data analysis. The results showed that there were three children who spoke abusively of children whose daily life was in poor language environment, then it can be concluded that the influence of the environment is very influential on the development of language. Based on these findings it can be concluded that children aged 4 years 1 month easily hear and reclaim the language absorbed from the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Poetry writing skills can cause sensitivity to literary works and stimulate students' brains to think creatively in appreciating literary works. In reality, poetry writing skills are considered difficult by many students. So that the skill of writing poetry on students is still low. For this reason, this study aims to examine and analyze the reflective learning approach to improve students' ability to write poetry in vocational high schools. Population and sample in vocational school student research. This research is made by descriptive method. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that poetry writing skills for vocational students can be improved by using reflective learning. This is known from the number of students who have increased in each cycle. In the first cycle I obtained the results of the first cycle of action test results of language learning on classical poetry writing material score obtained by students cycle I, obtained 14 students reached 46.67% of 30 students earned the value of ≥ 76. This shows the increase in learning skills writing skills enough good. However, there are 16 students reaching 53.33% who can get value <76. While in cycle II, can be seen the result of learning language in classical poetry writing material has reached 83,33% or as many as 25 students from 30 students

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menulis naskah drama serta  kurang kreatifnya pemilih bahan ajar, penggunaan metode, dan media pembelajaran. Adapun rumusan masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah metode pembelajaran latihan terbimbing menggunakan media berita efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis naskah pada mahasiswa semester IV STKIP Siliwangi Bandung tahun akademik 2013-2014? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode Pembelajaran Latihan Terbimbing menggunakan Media Berita dalam pembelajaran menulis naskah drama pada mahasiswa semester IV STKIP Siliwangi Bandung tahun akademik 2013-2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-postest control group design. Eksperimen dilakukan terhadap dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang pembelajarannya menggunakan Metode Latihan Terbimbing menggunakan media berita dengan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Kedua kelompok tersebut diberi pengajaran yang sesuai dengan penelitian tersebut dan dalam waktu-waktu tertentu diberikan tes, baik yang berupa tes awal (pre-test) maupun teRakhir (post-test). Setelah proses pembelajaran selesai, peneliti membandingkan hasil belajar dari kedua kelompok tersebut. Uji Mann-Whitney digunakan penulis untuk menghiung rata-rata nilai pratest dan  rata-rata nilai pascates. Temuan penelitian adalah metode pembelajaran latihan terbimbing menggunakan media berita efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis naskah drama pada pada mahasiswa semester IV STKIP Siliwangi Bandung. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan  dari nilai rata-rata tes akhir pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, yakni nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 81,15 sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 77,83. Selain itu, keefektifan dapat dilihat dari hasil uji t yang menunjukan bahwa nilai z hitung > z table, yakni 6,10015 > 1,96.  Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode latihan terbimbing menggunakan media berita lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

The novel is a literary work in the form of prose. There are many titles novel that has been print, one of them novel sinking Van der Wijk. Novel research novel tengelamnya ship Van der Wijk aims to describe the story of the novel is may affect the reader students SMPN 1 padalarang. This research was performed using the qualitative methods and techniques research include the stage of data collection, data analysis, the presentation of the data and withdrawal conclusion. Source of data obtained the form of the primary data (tengelamnya ship Van der wijck) and secondary from other sources. Research has a crucial role in providing feedback to readers. From the results showed that the aspects of educational value sinking Van der wijcksebanyak 57.3%, this indicates that readers novel sinking Van der Wijk give appreciation to refer to the contents of the story very reasonable. The second aspect of the figure of figures tengelamnya ship Van der wijck with the result is 50,6% indicating that the respondents average like to figure novel sinking Van der wijck, while aspects of the third called aspect of the events that occurred with the result are 40.66%. Of the three aspects can be concluded that the novel sinking Van der Wijk quite interesting.

Abstract

Speaking is an activity when a person uses language to convey a particular purpose and purpose to others. Therefore, if discussing about the language can not be separated from the problem of language assistance itsel. This study intends to analyze language politeness in the Opera Van Java episode Pengambil Setan. This analysis is based on the theory of language assisted by Geoffrey Leech.Based on the results of this analysis concluded that violations of the maxim of awards in the event more, this triggers the foolness between the players and spectators in the program.

Abstract

Writing is one of the language skills that students must master. Writing is used as a means to convey information either directly or indirectly. This study aims to determine the significant differences between the ability to write biographical text before the students after treatment of the use of film media; and students' responses to the use of film media in learning to write biographical texts. The research method is experimental method with pretest-posttest one group design design. The sample of research is the students of class X IPA SMK Merdeka Soreang. The result of the research shows that the average score of writing ability of biography of students has increased by the difference of the average value of 23.80. The average grade of the experimental class students on pretest was 61.73 and posttest 84.53. Meanwhile, based on the questionnaire results, it is known that about 79% of students agree with the application of film media in biographical writing, while 21% are still in doubt.

Abstract

This study attempts to describe the pragmatic aspects contained in Axis advertising. The method used in this study used a qualitative approach with descriptive-analysis method. The purpose of this study to determine the meaning contained in Axis advertising in terms of pragmatic. The result of this research is the use of language in Axis advertisement get 4 kinds in a pragmatic aspect that is, direct speech act, an act of directive speech, an act of speech illocution, and not representative speech. In addition, the use of language in axis ads is only to attract viewers to buy their products and means that in axis ads very sparingly if used for browsing like video calls, streaming video, and upload photos.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the observations of researchers that the ability to write intrinsic elements of the saga is very low. This was allegedly due to the application of inappropriate learning methods. Then the interests and motivation of student learning are also very lacking so students cannot play an active role. The purpose of the formulation of this problem is to describe and know the planning of writing intrinsic elements of saga, the results of Cooperative Script learning on the ability to understand the intrinsic elements of class X students' stories. The research method used is quantitative experimental methods. The design of this research method is the type of design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population studied were all SMK students with a total of 60 people. While for the sample, there are 20 class X students. Data collection techniques are through research tests/questionnaires. Data processing techniques are carried out using statistics. The results of this study are that there is an increase in understanding of saga learning. Students are able to write intrinsic elements of the story well and students can feel the results of learning are very satisfying. Obtained an increase in the results of learning using the Cooperative Script method there are significant differences in values, the highest value of the initial test of 78 and the final test value of 90, it was concluded that this method is suitably applied to learning writing.

Abstract

The background of this research is that some facts found in the field of students cannot express their ideas and imagination into a poem due to difficulties in finding poetic words and the use of less innovative methods. This can be proven from the results of previous student observations showing that some students were less motivated during the learning process, so that students obtained poetry values with less criteria. In connection with this problem, the formulation of the problem of this research is how the results of writing poetry before and after the application of the quantum learning method? This study aims to determine the results of writing poetry using the quantum learning method. The method used is an experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The average value of the initial test (pretest) obtained was 70.31 while the average value of the final test (posttest) was 80.78, an increase of 11.41%. The SPSS results showed a paired T sample sig test 0,000 <0,05. Therefore it can be concluded if the quantum learning method can be used in poetry learning, because students can make poetry better than before the implementation of the quantum learning method.

Abstract

In this study based on curiosity to analyze the meaning contained in the sentence between sentences and diction contained in the poem "Pada Suatu Pagi Hari". The researcher formulates the problem as follows (1) to analyze the pragmatics and diction of the poem "Pada Suatu Pagi Hari", (2) to describe the sentence poem between sentences, denotation meaning, and connotation meaning. The purpose of analyzing on the part of the pragmatic meaning of the verse poem "Pada Suatu Pagi Hari"? and what is the meaning of sentence sentences between sentences? So that it aims to discuss (1) to analyze the pragmatic poem "Pada Suatu Pagi Hari". (2) to describe sentence poetry between sentences, denotation meanings and connotation meanings, as well as intrinsic elements. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, this method is a research method that examines and discusses aspects of word choice by ensuring the contents of the poem to the denotation and connotation meanings. In the results of the analysis, there are seven types of meanings between sentences. Denotation meanings are listed in five types of sentence meanings, while connotation meanings are listed in two types of sentence meanings.
